I typed this long af comment on a post about the whole subreddit back and forth then deleted it. I think I can sum it up a whole lot shorter: the game in its current state aside from the HC Challenge is not meant for no lifers. The game is not for you right now. The game is for the casuals and to sell as many copies as they did.
The seasons and the improvements for the longevity of the game are for the no lifers.
Nothing against any group: casuals, inbetweeners, hardcore, no lifers, whatever. Just stating I believe decisions are being made and were made at Blizzard with profits and sales in mind and the future state of the game as a live service will be no different their target audience will just change.
Further explanation: will listen to your feedback (asinine ones aside like vendors too far away boohoo). Why? Because even if you no lifed and quit youll be back for the first season. They know they havent lost you. They know the casuals will quit before or after the first season. They got everyones money. Then they switch models and get you no lifers. Reel you back with hey we heard you endgame was a slog. Here are more options. Oh you didnt feel powerful with your meta build here are new affixes and codex of powers and changes to the paragon system and glyphs that really pump up that damage and oh guess what new big baddies to test that new meta build on. Besides those terrible examples I just gave they will change the game to cater to the no lifers because they know you have already or will put in 300 hours and plan on doing 1000 more if xyz is changed. They will change it for you.
But right now the game isn't for you. They got your money either way but their focus is on casuals. They know they will leave and are milking them before they milk the no lifers. Then they will milk the whales and streamers and content creators who will make content by buying the biggest most expensive options in the stores and praising or hating on tbem but hey you still bought it.
Its sad that we are at each other like everything else in our world politics and sports team rivalries. Its sad. Blizzard is a business who wants profits we are the consumers and they know they can't make a product for literally everyone so they advertise to everyone get as much as possible (casuals) then focus in the long stayers.
Summary: no lifers or as I will call you long stayers the game isn't for you right now. Go to forums and consolidate your feedback with others and push it to Blizzard. They will listen to you and fix it but don't post on an unofficial subreddit hoping for copium and validation and expect everyone to agree. To the casuals and inbetweens here the game is for you right now enjoy it take it slow. Maybe enjoy a season or two but don't be mad at the long stayers and the sweats not everyone has to love all aspects of a game. Eventually we won't all be playing together anyway. And to the casuals and inbetweens who will stick around for several seasons I think I speak for us all when I say the "no lifers" forgot what it was like to take a game slow and enjoy it and understand that by the time you get to the end it might either be very different or the same but still enjoyable. The sweats are burned out. The content creators are scrambling to rush out a lot of content. They are working without realizing they are working. But to each their own the game will evolve.
TLDR (reiterated): the game is not for no lifers right now its for casuals. Blizzard is going for sales and profits. They will evolve and change the game to cater to the no lifers and long stayers because they know casuals will come and go but mostly go and they know the long stayers will be back for updates and seasons and fixes after "listening to them". So don't be mad at no lifers complaining about what needs to evolve and don't be mad at casuals for enjoying the game slowly in sessions as was intended out the gate initially.
Disclaimer: I'm "inbetween" I have two characters one is level 40 now and the other is 32 for co-op. I'm not in endgame so I didn't talk about endgame. I'm talking about business decisions. I hope my take while my opinion as labeled, shares a perspective that lets stop treating each others like garbo for having valid points on both sides and shun the trolls. I agree parts on all sides and I thoroughly enjoy the game but also knew what I was getting into. I haven't got to endgame but watching videos its what I expected and not in a bad way. I paid for the game it looks like that I expected and I'm happy because I've made bad purchases before.

Just graduated college and been searching for jobs. Sounds easy, right? Wrong. I dont have a laptop or tablet to apply, only a phone. I have tobo toghe library to use the computer but can't get there much because I do not have a car and can't walk there. I was in a 3 month situationship. Maybe he was a narcissist or maybe he wasn’t. Either way, his intentions were clear that it was just casual and I had a horrible feeling in my gut after the first date but I held on to little glimmers of hope.
Long story short, he sat me down and told me he didn’t love me and would’ve known if he had by now. He said loads of other painful things to me (in my other posts) that I won’t bore you with.
I literally ran away after he said all that but I’m totally crushed. This is actually my first heartbreak. I deleted him from everything but couldn’t bring myself to block his number. I kept unblocking and blocking his instagram (it’s a private account but the number of his following/followers is crushing me) but have managed to keep his insta blocked.
I keep googling him, checking his LinkedIn. Checking his instagram from a fake account (again, all I can see are numbers). I find myself google mapping where he lives. Looking online for properties for sale near him. I feel a sharp pain in my chest when I see a car that looks like his. Researching more about his job and what his day to day might look like. Feeling sad when I look at the date of an email at work which was around the time we were dating. I’m genuinely going crazy.
I paid for a few online therapy sessions but can no longer afford it and tbh she just sat there and listened to me.
To make matters worse, he messages me out of the blue 3 weeks later. I was over the moon. It was again clear that he just wanted to hook up but honestly it changed my whole mood. Of course I agreed to meet with him then at the last minute I text him that I cant see him anymore. He just said ok I understand.
Now I’m upset that I’ve denied myself the opportunity to see him just one more time. I knew I would get hurt but I feel like it would’ve been worth it. I’m also sad about the way I ended things with him but I know he doesn’t care and is probably messaging 300 other girls on instagram (I wish I was joking but he literally is following girls 10 years younger than him on a daily basis)
I can’t sleep at night because I’m thinking of him.
Please tell me it will get better. Tried downloading dating apps but no one is him. I will never ever get over him.

Im a 31 year old married female with two kids, 5 and 2 years old. I work full time in between getting the kids ready in the morning and doing drop off at the baby sitters. I'm responsible for their every waking need and work in a high demanding factory job. I haven't been on a date in two years, haven't had a vacation for even longer.
My husband works a grueling job for fedex and is gone for upwards of 12-13 hours a day, sometimes 6 days a week. By the time I get the kids fed, bathed, and in bed it's time to clean up the house, lay out their clothes and stuff for tomorrow, feed the cats, and clean the litter box.
By the time I crawl into bed I just want to be held and loved, but often times my husband is exhausted and I try not to fault him for that.
But it never fails that I am forgotten for anniversaries, holidays, or birthdays. I just want someone to take care of me the same way I take care of them.
I want to scream and cry and call my mom, but she passed in 2020 and I've felt like I've been on autopilot since.
Someone to pack my lunch for me or lay out my clothes or a good hug would make me feel better. Anything so I don't have to go to bed with this lump in my throat and heavy weight on my chest every single night.
I am so tired.

I bought Spiderman remastered on Epic Games (bc sale!) and have been trying to play with little success. I've gotten to swing around and fight a few times but it typically crashes within a few seconds of gameplay. I don't think it's my PC specs because it runs great (high graphics) for games like (RD2, Witcher 3, Batman Arkham Knight, etc.). I've tried lowering the graphics and reinstalling drivers to no avail. I've also tried running diagnostics and it detected no issues. I am open to any possible solutions because I desperately want to play this game so please send them my way!

Had to get out the house today. I went for a stroll around a place called Westport lake. Saw a guy stood over an emaciated dog that was just laying on the grass. I asked if he’d just found the poor thing. He was keeping it together and said no. Said it was his dog and she’s being put to sleep today so it’s her last walk. I asked if he was okay and he started crying. Proper crying like a man. So I Stayed with him for a bit. Chatted away about his dog. I cried with him. She was A 14 year old Australian Shepherd cross. She originally lived with his mum and he’s had her since his mum passed away. He picked her up, wrapped her in her blanket and put her back in the cart he was pulling her around in. We walked back to the carpark and I asked him his name, he said his name was Mick. I Asked where he was going next, he said they were gonna sit and watch the lake till it was time. I said it was nice to meet him despite the circumstances and left.
Probably never gonna see the fella again. But honestly, the universe puts these things in front of you sometimes. I’ve no idea what the lesson is from that interaction. I just know that’s a phenomenal human being and I wish him nothing but the best in life.
Once I was done crying in my car I was warmed by the thought of a big bald bloke swaddling his best mate in a blanket and taking her to look at her favourite lake in her final hours.

i have my washing machine filter's external cover stuck and wouldn't completely open (not the filter), the square blastic door that supposed to open smoothly to reveal the filter handle so i can clean

Please someone help me! I need advice!!
My friend who is 16, he’s a male and he has had extreme gender dysphoria his whole life has hit a real rough patch.
when he came out as trans to his parents a few weeks back, his father didn’t support him, and his heavily Christian mother was shocked, and started hysterically crying. He turned to me for support, as I’m his “only real friend”, and of course I will help him! He’s always at my house, and he follows he kind of everywhere I go, which is fine! If I make him feel comfortable whilst he’s going through some stuff, I’m okay with that! But sometimes he gets.. weird?
Like, I’m 15 female, and I offered him to stay at my house for a couple days and set up a mattress on the floor, but when I woke up at like 2am he was on my bed touching my chest. I was scared, and I just pretended I was asleep, but it went on for like 20 minutes until he went back to his bed.
And then, the other night I was gonna take a shower, he said “can I come in with you?” I said “that’s weird sorry” but he insisted and he actually got quite aggressive. So I said fine, but you can’t get in the shower. So I showered as he sat on the toilet, but then he started undressing and stood with his back against the shower door.
I want to help the guy, he’s really struggling, but.. should I prioritise my safety?? Or help him no matter what??
