2023.05.31 18:01 pigzit Massive FPS drops when drawing a road that persist after closing road tool?
I'm having an issue where when I load into a clean map and open the roads tool and select any road to draw a network, my FPS drops from a smooth capped 60 FPS to 10-15 while using the road network. Even stranger is that when I close the panel and stop using the network, my FPS goes back up, but not to the original 60 that I had consistently on map load, but but to about 20-25 FPS. This makes starting a new city unplayable laggy, despite starting on a completely clean slate.
Is this a known issue? I've gone through compatibility report and painstakingly run through the majority of my mods to make sure they're up to date and I can't find a lead on what could be causing this. Any help is greatly appreciated! My current mod and asset lists is below.
