Hi, I need some help with my build. I am torn between two setups, both quite different but ultimately the same purpose: I want to deal a good amount of sustainable damage.
The character is based on the following concept: A level 20 knight was up against a fearsome foe in the feywild, where his soul was merged with his most loyal companion, his little dog. Now he has to adjust to not having all of his skills, strength and looks anymore.
What is set in stone:

• Custom Lineage
  
• Fey Touched with +1 Cha
  
• 1 level of Hexblade
  
• Level 4 capping Charisma to 20
  

The dilemma is between the following builds:

• 1 Hexblade / 5 Swashbuckler - Rapier and Shield - I found this to be quite a fun combo to have access to Booming Blade and Green Flame Blade, then have the extra sneak attack option from swashbuckler, because of his overzealous demeanor (he's still used to being the protagonist). It is only one attack per turn, but it is a quite mobile setup and has Uncanny Dodge, which makes it quite tanky in a sense.
  
• 1 Fighter / 5 Hexblade - Greatsword - Here I go for Defense fighting style and Pact of the Blade, with Thirsting Blade, Improved Pact Weapon and Eldritch Smite. As the character is not used to using spells from a narrative perspective, I will almost always use my slots to smite. Nice thing here is that the damage counts as magical.
  

My question is which should I pick, or is there a even better route to go here? Also, is the +1 AC, Second Wind and the little more hp really worth the Fighter dip?

in my 2000 chevy astro van, we recently replaced the engine and the transmission. since we had the vehicle (almost 2 years at this point) we've noticed power steering fluids leaking and a roaring sound when turning the wheel, especially when stopped.
we had both lines replaced, didn't help. then a mechanic told me it's probably the gear box that's causing the issue.
While we were having the trans put in, we told the mechanic "whatever you have to do, do it, inspect the vehicle fully, and do what needs to be done, fix that dang leak." he let us know he would be changing the steering gear box and to be prepared for the cost of that. we were.
ended up costing 750$ to have it put in and took about a month! we were ok with that because we wanted to make sure the van was GOOD. and we really like our new mechanic, he has been know in our family to be very honest, which we've had bad luck with the past few years.
so anyways, we get the van back, it's driving great, the sound is essentially gone and no more leaks. until i'm driving down a hill on our way to church and boom, the brakes feel wicked funny (like there is gear turning under the pedal that's just not "catching") and the power steering is gone. I notice there is transmission fluid pouring out of the vehicle. i worry it was the transmission, but turns out it was the gear box that blew. Get it towed back to the shop, and he replaces it. says it's on the company that made the gear box and he's really pissed off about it.
now with the new gear box the leak is still gone, but the sound is back. i figured maybe cause it's a new part, needs to break in a bit. i'm worried about it. if i was driving on the highway when the first one blew, that would have been really scary. very little brake control and no power steering in our van that we've put 20k into. i don't even want to think about an accident in that thing.
obviously i'm gunna call the mechanic and see what he thinks, but i'd love to hear your all thoughts about it.

“WHAT?!” Rayla gasped out, shocked at what Jabba the Hutt had just ordered to do.
“You heard me, little elf,” Jabba said. “Take off your clothes, so that my friends and I may see your maturing body in all its glory.”
“NEVER!” Rayla snarled, her purple eyes glowing with a defiant fire. She would NOT degrade herself for this evil slug!

Rayla’s bold defiance faltered under Jabba’s cruel threat and malevolent gaze. She shivered in fear as she imagined being naked before Jabba and all his henchmen. Jabba smirked. “In time, you will long for my touch, little elf.”
“There’s only one man I love,” Rayla declared proudly. “Soon he will come for me, and you will regret this!”
Jabba laughed his deep, booming laugh again. “I’m sure. But in the meantime, I will greatly enjoy your company, little elf.”
Jabba turned to his other slave girls. “Take her away to the prepping room. You know what to do.”
“Yes, master,” Nyx replied. She walked towards Rayla, slowly because of the heavy weight chained to her foot. She took Rayla by the hand and led her away, the other slave girls following.
As they walked, Rayla leaned close to Nyx and whispered. “What happened, Nyx? How did you end up here?”
Nyx answered in a whisper, her face full of despair and shame. “I was out flying one day in the desert when this huge spider shot a web at me, tangled me in my own wings. Then, those pig-faced guards grabbed me and dragged me here.”
“I’m sorry,” Rayla said sincerely.
“Don’t be,” Nyx grumbled.
“Listen, Nyx,” Rayla said. “If we work together, maybe we…”
“We can what? Escape?” Nyx cut across Rayla. “Good luck with that escape is impossible. Jabba’s palace is too well-guarded. The best thing we can do is go along and hope he doesn’t hurt us too bad.”
Rayla stared at Nyx. This was not the same smug rogue she had met in the desert. Jabba had obviously subjected Nyx to the same humiliation he had subjected Rayla to… and probably more. Rayla did not want to go through what Nyx had. But it seemed she had no choice in the matter.
