I work at an office which does contracting work for a government agency which involves obtaining information from a certain group of individuals during scheduled appointments which are scheduled through the government agency. Our client is the government agency, not individual people, consumers or the public.
Some of these individuals listed our office as a business and slandered our employees with false information, sharing their full names which are not common knowledge to the public. Nowhere on the internet nor the office are our full names listed so it isn’t right to have our full names exposed and slandered on the public internet. Our employees are not commonly referred to by their full names.
I’ve reported the reviews and tried to edit business saying this should not be a Yelp page as it’s not a business for the public consumer. It’s more like a B2B business as our client is a government agency. But Yelp won’t do anything. It’s like having a Yelp page for the HR or IT department of your private company. It’s like having your neighbor list your house on Yelp to write false rants about you while exposing your real name, but Yelp won’t do anything about it.
What if there was a Yelp review page for the customer service or sales department of Yelp huh? I bet they would remove it. So why won’t they remove my workplace?

Got a secondhand P40 Pro from the FB marketplace. Everything is good, actually, looking pristine and all, but one thing just bothers me. There's an app called "Sample Mgmt" that looks like an employee login. Also, in My Huawei app, my phone is just named "手机" or phone instead of "P40 Pro."
I can't update it, too. Tried updating to HarmonyOS but it just says "Software up to date." Basically stuck in EMUI 10.

My genuine first reaction: wait, there's an update?
I'm honestly just getting sick and tired of this game, and it's sad that it's a game I've poured HOURS upon HOURS (whether it be by trading or by role-playing) into. I understand that they're working on the new school but God it's just disappointing... I sometimes have to log on twice just to make sure I haven't lost my 500+ day login streak.
Each day logging on just feels like a chore almost, something I don't really like doing anymore. I can't remember the last time I've actually played the game! I think the last time I actually played was way back when there was an outfit contest happening... that was like sometime back in early April, I think?
As always, there's nothing to do, nothing new to farm for, and if there is it's the new halo (I'll get to that in a second cause oh my god that thing fills me with anger.), no little mini games, nothing. It's becoming harder to actually like the game if I'm going to be honest. It's not fun anymore, if there's anything to do it just feels like a chore to get done and over with, and that's coming from somebody who owns 20 halos (if that sounds like I'm flexing, I'm sorry I don't mean it like that :sob:)!

I thought the starlight halo looked pretty lazy (My friend pointed it out SEVERAL times it looks like something you'd buy on the robux shop, and tbh it really does). This looks like a witching hour downgrade, and I love the witching hour halo! Now I will say, it fits perfectly with angelic outfits, I will give that credit, but it doesn't even feel like a halo imo. It feels like a regular everyday accessory you'd see in the shop, maybe buy it saying you'll wear it all the time, but then forget about it and never actually use it. It also just feels so out of place... the starlight halo also felt just so horribly out of place. I get that they're trying to do different things with it, but man... I sorta wish they stuck with the whole mermaid halo line they had.

Hello all,
I want to start off with letting everyone know that I work for a large organization and we've been transitioning to moving over to VDI environment for many department users. I do Desktop Support and have my hands tied with troubleshooting end users having audio issues. Our systems people setup the VDI using VMWare vSphere, the software and configuration works great... Except for Avaya softphone, the specific software being used is Avaya One-X Agent as the pre-installed software, as Desktop Support I can't really do much troubleshooting, even we're restricted from doing any changes to software (install/uninstall), admin settings are restricted to us, but are expected to resolve VDI related issue.
Users are given Dell Thin Clients, different models, USB provided headsets (Poly Blackwire), if it matters, Thin Client FW versions have not resolved issues. We have from 8.6 to 9.3 and the issue happens on any FW. We shut the thin clients wireless capabilities off at the BIOS level, users are required to hardwire themselves at home. So to the specifics on issue: 1. Employees can hear the person over the phone but the person over the phone can't hear the employee.

1. Our employees are heard with some "static" to the people over the phone. This can happen immediately on the call of after a few minutes. Ending the call and reinitiating will usually fix the issue.

I've tried installing wireshark on the VDI computer but because of lack of permissions, I can't do anything to troubleshoot that. Systems is not willing to admit issues on their end, configuration or hardware related, blaming all the issues to end-user, ISP and our "troubleshooting".
Some things that we (at desktop support) have troubleshooted: 1. Sounds are not being muted, gain levels on the Avaya software are set correctly.

1. Reset/restore on VMWare Self-Support for the Avaya software.
   
2. Ruled out users are using multiple devices or smart devices on their home network.
   
3. ISP speeds don't seem to matter, or their speed, we've had COAX and Fiber users experience the same issues, people from 1Gig Down/Up or 1G Down 24 Up.
   

We've done some additional troubleshoot than these 4 things I listed, but I think these are more related to the issue. Any guidance so we can either troubleshoot or prove there's a configuration issue, I would greatly appreciate!

My PA has been working on recovery and it’s been a rocky start. He got rid of all the triggering apps and deleted all his social media profiles. I make sure to monitor everything now as well.
Something clicked today and I can’t quite prove it yet but I can tell somethings up even with all the stuff we have in place.

He keeps saying he’s staying up watching his favorite show in the evenings at work but his watch history on the app he logs into doesn’t show any progress for that show. It’s been the same episode and season for the last week. We share the service so I can see his profile and watch history whenever I login. He doesn’t know this yet, and I don’t plan on sharing anything. I sort of want to see where it goes.
One of his tells is when he talks a lot about something or shares lots of detail I know he’s lying. He knows I don’t watch the show or care to but he started rattling off today about the season finale. I think he needed to make sure I knew he was actually watching it. Thing is, I will sit through the work of verifying that shit down to the color of the shirt he might have described. He doesn’t even think that far so he just kept talking. Anyway, I watched the finale for myself. None of the shit he spent that rant explaining happened in that episode . It all happened in the episodes prior to and in the one his profile says he last watched. Which is halfway through the entire season.
I’ve pieced that part together now, but I can’t figure out what he’s doing during that time frame that isn’t actually watching the show. His screentime isn’t showing anything in the timeframe so I’m assuming it’s incognito but I need solid proof before he will admit to pretty much anything and work on it.
Another aha moment today was that I realized his work backpack was missing the towel he took for showers on the road(he’s a truck driver). It’s been missing for a bit, but I sort of let that slip under the radar I guess. He always had it just in case he was expected to have an extended trip and needed to wash up at the truck stop. I called him out for using socks to ejaculate into at work and I told him I never wanted to find that shit again. I’m thinking since I haven’t seen a sock in a long time, it’s got to be the towel now and he’s just been lying.
I will causally bring up the towel at some point and ask him to bring it home to launder. When it either doesn’t or he rushes to wash it before me I will know the answer to the MO at the very least. I just need to find out what the porn is.

I was logged out of the MC launcher for some reason and now I have a problem. I have 2 options to log in 1.) Microsoft Account, and 2.) Mojang account. When I try to login in with my Microsoft account it loads forever. Has anyone encountered this problem or know how to fix it? My Microsoft account works (I tested it on the Minecraft website so I know for a fact it still works), I just need to find a way to fix the launcher.

I met the absolute love of my life when I was 18 in high school. I would spend the next couple years dating and breaking up and getting back together.
I moved to florida after a breakup (again) and it only took four months for me to miss home. And miss her. (We’re gonna get to the work stuff just bare with me)
I come home from florida and basically decide to give everything I’ve got. I propose, get her pregnant, we get married, and live happily ever after.
For a minute. Then the weight of reality kicks in and I start stressing about jobs and my ability to provide.
I’ve worked a lot of types of jobs but basic. Lumber yards, warehouses, stores etc etc. the years go by and I start having these little midlife crisis moments.
I decide to risk everything and go to CDL school so I can make more money and have a skill. I then have some of the worst months days and years of my life being a truck driver. Almost every truck job made me want to lose my absolute shizzy and I feel like I’m screwed because you get used to good ish money and then you’re trapped doing that.
I start thinking it was all a terrible decision because I hate trucking and now I’m a huge failure because I so deeply dislike the lifestyle and in case you’ve never driven truck before, let me tell you it’s also one of the scariest things I’ve ever done in my life. At any moment, everything could go terribly wrong.
I fall into a depression, I start drinking almost daily, I lose interest in my partner because none of my needs were being met and I did my best to provide and ended up like, actually just being a shtty employee.
I say we should get a divorce. After a long time of me being depressed and not able to figure anything out and treating my wife like poo, she agrees. We agree to a peaceful separation. But have a lease agreement on the apartment. So we live together, separated, for about 6ish months. I move out.
About 6 months after all that, we’ve now been separated for over a year. Not legally divorced. She’s happy with someone new. I’ve slept with lots of tinder people (thank you lovely ladies!)

I have the now discontinued Chase Ink Business Plus. I’ve been using it to pay cell phone bills, and occasionally gas stations and office supply stores. I got it years ago for the high sign up bonus and because I used to load up my Amazon account with gift cards from Staples.
Given that I’m now only spending ~$1500/year on it, would you recommend I downgrade to a no fee business card? Is there any reason to keep the grandfathered Chase Ink Business Plus?
I should note that I also routinely use my Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom Unlimited, and a United Airlines card and am happy with my usage/rewards for those cards.

The flight attendant told us she had to wear headphones or turn the volume off. After my 5 y/o turned up the volume a bit a handful of times we took the phone away from her. Flight attendant then got a 2nd flight attendant who came over and handed us a written warning saying we MAY be violating federal law and the police had been called to meet us at the plane when we land. My 7 y/o then spent the rest of the flight terrorized that the police were coming for us.
Police met the plane and the flight crew had us disembark first. About six heavily armed officers escorted us up the gangway and into the airport. None of them could believe that the airline called them because my 5 y/o was using my iPhone with the volume on a handful of times before we took it away. They said we did nothing wrong. They said there would be no report. One of them told me that it was "insane" the airline even bothered them with this.
The whole thing was traumatic. Luckily the police were incredibly kind. We were also traveling with my 2 y/o, who I entertained the whole 5 hr flight. My kids didn't fight, they didn't yell. This went from zero to level 1,000 and the flight crew made it into an incredibly stressful situation and I'm wondering if I should call customer service over this.

I was recently laid off and now have two job offers that need a decision by early next week. I keep going back and forth and can't decide what job offer makes more sense to take! Any advice would be much appreciated.

I'm a chronically neurotic person. There are specific actions and situations that I've become very good at avoiding because of this weakness. But at the same time my life is quickly going nowhere because I choose to hide. And that fact in itself gives me existential despair which compounds this feeling in a horrifying cycle of inaction. I'm very afraid of social exposure. Positive or negative. My greatest trigger is being thrust into a group of ridiculing people. In public when it comes to asserting myself I am completely unable to penetrate a group not for lack of skill or ability, but the fear of the denial. Maybe I'm not who I think I am. Maybe there is something I can't see in myself that is clear to everyone else and I look like such a fool. Maybe I'm setting myself up for one of those painful memories that torment me when I'm idle.
Here is the revelation I've come to, and the reason I've made this post. I have all this nuclear fear of the unknown. I spiral for hours, days, weeks on my fears and pain and regret. truly paralyzed by it. But when I do something I'm not scared of, let's say a new job that I don't care about, I'm not building this entire drama in my mind because the outcome really doesn't matter to me. I'm just trying to get paid. none of the repetitive mindless actions I do at work indicate anything about my character. So I don't automatically catastrophize the situation. But the thing is I have had horrifying things happen at work. No joke I worked at a pharmacy and the people who ran it were legitimately sadistic. It was like a game to them. They would hire young people and set them up into these weird situations. and they would get so much pleasure out of making them uncomfortable. I was in the delivery position there and several people I delivered to mentioned how I was the 3rd or 4th different delivery person they saw in a very short amount of time. Confirming how they go though employees rapidly. I won't go farther into it but I would regularly get into heated confrontations with the management. Before I realized the anger and chaos is what they were fishing for.
My point is: My greatest fear of being at the center of attention and something horrible or embarrassing happening came true REGULARLY. only I wasn't effected by it because I wasn't anticipating it. So much of my fear is literally imagined and I can drive myself absolutely insane with my own thoughts. I contextualize certain actions into this anticipatory apocalyptic situation when its actualky all in my mind. There are things I've always wanted to do that I stop myself from because I'm so sure I'm going to end up in a disadvantageous or humiliating situation. And I've definetly missed opportunities because of sad stories I tell myself.

Today... I was hopeful. I applied for a cabin crew position. Todo ayos pa ako. Kahit galing night shift, laban lang. Takpan ng make up yung eyebags tapos book ng Grab papunta sa venue. Masayang masaya pa akong nagpasa ng resume at mag register.
Sabay pinatawag na kami for "reach test" (a test kung saan may ipapa abot sayo na certain height on tiptoes - a typical test for aspiring cabin crews). I removed my heels tapos pinapunta na kami sa places namin. I looked up, sabay napamura ako sa utak ko "anak ng... ang taas!!!"
"Left arm up!" Sabi nung facilitator. Pinagpapawisan na ako ng malamig. My gosh hindi abot. Kahit anong hatak ko sa maliliit kong braso, ayaw umabot.
"Next. Right arm up!" Dito medyo nagka pag asa ako. Medyo naabot na ng dulo ng daliri ko yung required abutin... pero bitin pa din.
Humarap kami lahat sa facilitator. Nagbabanggit na siya ng pangalan ng nakapasa. Lahat ng kasama ko tinawag.... except sa akin. Sabi sa akin bibigyan pa daw ako ng isang chance, try ko ulit abutin. I did try again, pero di ko talaga abot. Sadyang di ata talaga ako pinagpala ni Lord sa height.
"Thank you. Dun po yung exit sa right." Sabi niya sa akin, at unti unti ko na nararamdamang nangingilid na yung luha ko. Another failed application.
Ngayon? Eto, nakaupo pa din ako sa mall 4 hours later. Naka pusod pa din yung buhok, nananakit na mga hita ko sa taas ng heels na sinuot ko para sa araw na ito. Nasasaktan pa din. Kasi wala man lang akong kalaban laban sa nangyari. Bumagsak ako dahil sa di ko naabot yung height na required... something na di ko kontrolado. Kung sana'y pumalpak ako sa interview, baka natanggap ko pa na kasalanan ko.
Kaso hindi.
Hanggang ngayon magkatitigan pa din kami ng takoyaki na inorder ko. Malamig na. Pero wala na akong pakialam.
Ang nasa utak ko? Uuwi na naman ako at maghahandang pumasok sa "slightly above minimum wage" desk job ko. Makikita ko na naman yung mga kaibigan ko sa facebook na nagpupunta sa London, Germany, Australia... sa mga lugar na gusto ko ding puntahan.
Habang ako, andito pa din. Hanggang dito na lang siguro talaga ako.
