I have struggled with weight my entire life. From elementary age I always felt I was heavier than my peers. By 15 I began a cycle of binging and purging. My father always put a lot of pressure on me about my appearance and how important it was if I was going to attract a partner. He even bought my a scale for Christmas when I was 12. Due to my bulimia I was able to maintain a decent weight, although at the time I felt I was still large. I now know I was not. I continued this cycle until I was 21 and met my now husband and moved in with him. Since I could no longer purge in secret I have gained steadily for the last 8 years through 3 pregnancies. My weight gain caused serious strain on my relationship. My husband told me I was no longer attractive. But I continue to eat. I know I have a bad relationship with food. I am now at my heaviest and I’m so tired of being obese. I used to be very active and dress nicely. I want to take my kids to the water park and be able to climb stairs all day again. I also struggle with impulse control due to my ADD and have hypothyroidism/PCOS. I know the answer is to eat healthy portions and stay away from sugar. I know I should seek help for my eating disorders. I’m ashamed. I’m embarrassed. I’m mad at myself. I just don’t know how to start.

To preface, I am neurodivergent, so I have difficulty assessing the gravity of situations and can be a bit ignorant about certain topics (e.g. jury duty)
This was my first time being summoned to jury duty and had no clue how it worked. NO CLUE. I was kind of scared.
I asked to be removed from a somewhat high profile case after the alternate jurors were dismissed. The whole jury had to be dismissed or something, idk. Judge was pissed. Told me to never show up in his court room again. To my defense, the alternates were dismissed on the day after the jury was set. Is that normal? Again, pardon my ignorance.
Is my name flagged in the court system? Does being in contempt decrease my chances of getting summoned? I paid a fine and did community service.

A couple weeks ago my legs got tangled up with my opponent. When I made an awkward move to transition to a new position, the tension was all in my right knee and it made an audible snapping sound. The outside of my leg tightened up - straight from what felt like the outside of my ankle all the way up to my hip. Everyone on the mat stopped - it was pretty loud.
Anyway, I knew I was screwed and a few days later I was at the orthopedist. He didn’t seem overly concerned but ordered an MRI just to make sure he wasn’t missing anything. He thought it was the LCL, but wanted to rule out anything wrong with my ACL since there was a little odd movement in my knee.
Because I haven’t hit my deductible, it’s gonna cost $630 even with insurance…which is a lot if I’m just going to be told I need to ice my knee and stay off it for a while.
2-3 weeks later I’m feeling about 75%. I’m able to do some bodyweight squats and even ride on a stationary bike without pain. I don’t feel unstable on it.
Some days are better than others though, and i still find myself having to limp when it gets aggravated. One day I’ll feel nearly back to normal and the next day I’ll wake up and it’s tight and I feel like I’ve regressed in a major way.
I know nothing about knee injuries, so I’m coming to the group here.
Am I stupid for not doing the MRI? I’ve read most knee injuries don’t require surgery, but would I be able to do what I’m doing physically if there was something serious going on?
Appreciate any advice.

So long story short, I've been a student for like 7 years (undergrad, started a PhD, dropped it, did a certificate). I've found a job (in theory doing something I love - won't say what in case anyone who knows me reads this lol) that starts next Monday.
My worry is: I've never had a legit full time job. As a student, I was a TA and research fellow. I would go to class, do what was asked of me but it was always on my own time to get stuff done by some deadline. This job is essentially a 9-5 (8 hour days, but scheduling may vary depending on what's needed) and I've never done this before.
Are there any dos or don'ts? About anything, seriously lol. From hacks to tips to whatever to make things as smooth as possible.

Hey, I had a rabies shot series back in fall 2022, and my insurance covered 3 of them. The last one in the series the insurance denied and on the EOB they said the amount would be roughly $3,500. I called the insurance company in December and on the EOB it said that the service was denied because "the plan does not cover preventative services" when I spoke to my insurance company rep they said it was because the codes did not match up for them as in what was billed did not match the procedure.
So I call the hospital to get it recoded. They tell me that they haven't heard from my insurance yet, and I tell them that they've already told me it was denied can they recode. They tell me no problem sure. I tell them that the other encounters were covered so however those were coded should work for my insurance and gave them the dates that I had had the shot before.
I don't hear anything further so I call the hospital today because it has been about 5 months, and they said that they've not sent me a statement yet because it has sat in auditing. The representative put a ticket in to get it out of auditing so I am now going to be billed. It has never been recoded because as the rep said "the insurance didn't deny it because of miscoding." I ask for an itemized bill. Later I ask how much this statement is going to be for she says that it'll be for about $500, which is much, much lower than the EOB said. It is actually the exact amount that the insurance was charged prior to my copay on one of the encounters that I referenced when I originally called. She confirms that is the charge for the date that my insurance did not cover.
To be honest, I don't really know what to do now. I am closing in on the end of the window that I can appeal with my insurance (180 days from the EOB) and I have asked for an itemized bill, but I am not sure I will get that any time soon because she said that can take between 5 and 45 business days. I am also very shocked at the amount that was quoted to me on the phone today because that is much lower than what my EOB said it would be.
Any advice? I feel like something has to be messed up in how it was coded or something for my insurance to deny this while paying for the other 3 shots in the series. All of the encounters are identical-- show up to ER, get shot, leave. Except the first encounter (which was also covered) because you get immunoglobulin as well at that visit.
What should my next step be? I haven't really navigated this process before. What do you guys think the chances of me actually being billed that lower amount is?

Has anyone experienced Endometriosis and infertility???? My story 7years ago after I got off birth control I got pregnant very unexpectedly. A month or 2 later I ended up losing the baby. Had some complications during that where I bled for almost 2months. They did find cysts on my ovaries but they claim that's not why I lost the baby. It took me almost a year to be ready to TTC again. Once I started getting my periods every month again, they would get later. Days will turn into weeks. By then my periods started getting more intense with pain. Advil, ibuprofen, and naproxen weren't even touching my pain. I had to be given hydrocodone (Vicodin) and that still took 1.5-2hrs for me to start to feel better. I honestly thought "oh this is what everyone was talking about period cramps, now I get it." By the end of that year I stopped getting a period. I figured "oh I'm late, maybe I'm pregnant." I tested weekly for 2 months thinking the tests were wrong wait til I'm further along. Then started getting excited not having a period kuz the pain. 6 months goes by and I finally booked an appointment with an OBGYN (by then it was 7months). Was given Provera for 6months, worked great. Every now and then I would skip a month which was a relief. But when I'd get my period I felt like it was attacking me with vengeance to make up from last time. During all that time, we tried so much before we hit our year of TTC to see a Dr for that. They would run so much blood, pelvic exams and ultrasounds and claimed everything was fine. You got pregnant before u can get pregnant again. That's what they literally told me. Never asked me and signs or symptoms of Endo. So I kept going. I had a coworker tell me what it could be, and Endo was one of those things but I never took it serious and never looked it up. Fast forward few months, my mom has noticed the pain it's caused me when I get super pale (I'm olive skine tone) so big different, I can't stand up straight and my mom and sister within weeks of each other said it's probably Endo. 7years later I got new health insurance saw a Dr for painful periods. After talking with the nurse she is asking all these questions and I answer them and she goes and talks to the Dr. When he comes in, his first and only diagnosis is Endometriosis. Just hearing a Dr say that word first was so much relief but at the same time hurt kuz I know that's what's causing my infertility. Now I am on my way to be 100% diagnosed wit Endo and how bad it is. This has killed and still is for years and I feel like I have to come to terms with never having kids of my own (I have 2 step kids). It's been becoming a horrible mental battle for me

My pup has a very, very sensitive stomach. We've tried everything and we've spent thousands on testing to try to figure him out. Limiting his kibble intake to a strict measurement has helped a ton, and so has eliminating all chicken anything from his diet. However, he still has some nasty flare-ups once in a while. This last one resulted in a bloody diarrhea explosion all over the living room...a thing that happens when his intestines become severely inflamed, sadly.
We were then told that soaking his kibble would break the food down for him and make it much easier to digest. So far, so good! No bad poops, no gas, no pain...but ever since I started, he's been acting like he's starved.
He's always been a "meh" eater. Most mornings he didn't want his breakfast. Now, he wakes me up whining for his food very early. Same before dinner. He sits down by my work chair a half an hour before dinnertime and starts crying.
When I finally give him his soaked kibble, he wolfs it down. This is completely new behavior. I'm feeding him the same measured amount at the same times, but he acts like he's not getting enough. What gives? Does soaking his food in warm water change it so that he doesn't feel full? Is he digesting it now too quickly? Should I be giving him more?
Aside from this pining for food at mealtimes, his behavior hasn't changed at all. He's the same happy go lucky, playful, energetic dog that he was before. He's just hungry.

They already released the default game on ps4 and ps5. But, they refuse to release the DLC for ps4. The ps4 is far from outdated yet. It's still an acceptable system. It runs HFW without any lag or glitches. They could very easily put the dlc on ps4, if they managed the entire game.
But nope. Because they teased a Horus fight, they know that true horizon fans will buy a PS5 if they make it exclusive on PS5. This is Sony's tactic to make more money by screwing over their customers on ps4.

If Guerrilla was not owned by sony, this probably would not be the case. They'd release it on any console the game runs on, because that would show they care about ALL of their customers, not just the ones who pay them more money. I guarantee that Sony ordered them to make it PS5 exclusive to increase sales, and probably also told them to keep their mouths shut about the truth.
Sony has a history of greedy tactics and behaviors. This is just their latest scheme. I wish I knew a way to knock em down a peg, so they'd stop (quietly) treating their customers so badly.

I get that upgrading isn't all bad, but the fact that sony is taking this route is bad enough by itself.

2. Shopify is in talks with Amazon about adding its Buy with Prime service as a payment / fulfillment partner. When speaking at the Morgan Stanley Technology Media and Telecom Conference earlier this month, Finkelstein said, “I'm optimistic we'll get there with Amazon. We have a good history and a good relationship with them.” However Finkelstein later added that if a deal were to get done with Amazon, it would be on Shopify's terms — leaving merchants in control of their customer and order data. .
3. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) published a report analyzing the financial profiles of consumers who use BNPL. The report found that BNPL borrowers on average are more likely to be active users of credit cards and payday loans, more likely to exhibit signs of financial distress, had higher usage of loan products compared to non-borrowers, had a higher frequency of reported delinquencies in other accounts, and had average credit scores in the sub-prime range of 580-669 versus the near-prime range of 670-739 of non-borrowers. In a statement released with the report, CFPB Director Rohit Chopra noted that there is a common misconception that BNPL borrowers lack access to other forms of credit and that the survey data instead indicates that BNPL borrowers are more likely to use a wider variety of credit products than non-borrowers. .
4. The Biden administration is planning to take action on at least three of its half-dozen investigations of Amazon. POLITICO spoke to more than 10 people with direct knowledge of the investigations by the FTC to learn how the agency is now pursuing Amazon, why it didn't take action on the One Medical acquisition, and what's likely to happen in the coming months. .
5. eBay competes with Facebook Marketplace, but NOT with Facebook's social network — at least that's what it told a judge last Monday. eBay filed a motion to quash Meta's deposition subpoenas, claiming that it had already worked with Meta for a year and already disclosed nearly 2,500 pages of internal records to the company. eBay's lawyers said, “Meta's discovery gluttony confirms its request of eBay is not worthy of the burden Meta seeks to impose. The breadth of the subpoena is alarming.” .
6. Klaviyo laid off 10% of its workforce, or approximately 140 staff members across all teams including engineering and design, in what they said is an effort to reduce redundancy and recalibrate their areas of investment for the future. .
7. Fetch Rewards, a shopper rewards startup, also laid off 10% of its workforce, comprising of around 100 employees. Fetch was impacted by the SVB situation, but a spokesperson for the company said that the decision to restructure was in the works prior. .
8. Anchorage Digital, a fintech that offers prime brokerage services and custom API integrations for financial institutions, laid off 20% of its staff, or about 75 employees, citing regulatory uncertainty, crypto market volatility, and macroeconomic headwinds. In December 2021, the startup raised $350M in a Series D round, valuing the company at over $3B. .
9. Twitch announced it would be laying off over 400 of its 13,600 employees, also pointing to the current macroeconomic and missed projections as the cause. The layoffs come a week after cofounder and CEO Emmett Shear stepped down from his role. .
10. In addition to those lay offs at Twitch, its parent company Amazon also announced another 9,000 lay offs, bringing its total to around 27,00 since late last year. Most of the cuts will be from AWS, advertising, and human resources. .
11. Amazon sent a survey to users asking detailed questions about which features would convince them to download and try a new desktop browser from Amazon. Users were asked to rate the important of features including text to speech, extensions, data syncing across desktop and mobile devices, and blocking third-party cookies. This would not be Amazon's first attempt at a browser. The company launched Silk browser in 2011, which is built on the Chromium Project and used for its own products including Fire Tablets, Fire TVs, and Echo Show devices. .

Lands End reported that their e-commerce net revenue decreased 10.1% to $1.1B for the fiscal year, primarily driven by lower consumer demand caused by the global supply chain challenges in the first half of fiscal 2022. Gap also reported a 10% drop in online sales for Q4, however, the company's e-commerce revenue is still up 29% compared to pre-pandemic 2019. .
16. Amazon will discontinue distributing Kindle Newsstand subscriptions in September and is no longer selling new Kindle Newsstand subscriptions for magazines and newspapers as of this month. 18. ALPHV, a ransomware group, claims to have breached Amazon Ring and is threatening to publish its data. Since Ring devices support E2EE in most countries, which means that neither Amazon, law enforcement, nor ransomware groups could access uploaded footage, it is possible that ALPHV exfiltrated corporate or customer data rather than video. .
19. About You, a German fashion e-commerce platform, introduced a minimum order amount of €30 to obtain free shipping, while customers with smaller orders will have to pay €4.90. The new feeds are already in effect in Germany, and will eventually be rolled out to all markets. i have a juvenile crested gecko (winnie) who i bought from a breeder a little over a month ago. i noticed winnie was only eating if i held her and fed her fed her from the bottle, so i said something to my vet about this and she told me to attempt to ween her off the bottle and get her used to eating out of a bowl. i’ve tried everything, i’ve put multiple food bowls, shown her me filling the bowl, and absolutely nothing is working. i contacted the breeder, and asked her if she was bottled fed before purchasing and they confirmed ms. winnie has only been fed via bottle. after feeding her, i do put some food in her bowl for overnight to show her it is still there. she has an insane dependency on this and will not eat any other way. my question is: has anyone else had this hurdle? and if so, how did you help your crestie learn how to eat from a bowl?
disclaimer: i have no issue with strictly bottle feeding her but my vet heavily emphasized that i need to get her independent on feeding. she also gains weight well, and eats plenty when i do bottle feed her but she will go on a hunger strike if i just leave a bowl full.

I (27M) have been dating my GF (29F) for 3.5 years, and we've been living together for the past 2. She truly is a wonderful person; kind, compassionate, funny, beautiful, educated, and successful. We have so much fun together, want the same things in life, and have many of the same hobbies. She is the first GF I've ever had that I both love to spend time with (like a best friend), and at the same time am extremely attracted to.
That said, she had a bit of a traumatic up-bringing, and has always had issues with substances. Years ago when she was younger she had a problem with coke for a little while. She kicked that successfully and never touched it again. But her problem lately is more with alcohol. She doesn't drink every day, but sometimes she will use alcohol to self-soothe when life gets hard. When this happens, she sometimes has trouble stopping and has gotten WAY too drunk on a couple of occasions. She doesn't intend too, she just doesn't know when to stop sometimes, and she's a petite woman.
Anyways, fast forward to about 5 months ago, she was out of town for a sporting competition (staying in our camper). Her grandma died while she was away, and she performed very poorly in the competition. She called me afterwards in tears, so embarrassed about how she did. The day after the competition there was a wrap-up party and she went with her girlfriends. She started drinking by herself before even meeting up with the girls because she was embarrassed and anxious. She probably started drinking around 3 in the afternoon, then met up with the girls around 5 or 6, and then went to the party around 9. By the time she got to the party her memory gets fuzzy. She remembers being at the pre-drink with her friends, arriving at the party, dancing with the girls, and then the rest is black.
She woke up the next day in our camper by herself, but she immediately had a terrible feeling that something bad had happened. She had a couple flash memories of this guys face, and this guy kissing her but no idea where it happened, how they got there, or how she got home. Lets call this other guy "Nate". She immediately told me in tears that something "bad" happend. Ofcourse I wanted to know more.
She then texted Nate the following messages. She originally deleted these messages because she was scared of losing me - so its safe to say that she didn't shape these messages thinking that I was going to be reading them - they are her genuine words. She only told me about these messages a couple of weeks later and recovered them upon my request.
Her: "Heyy I’m so sorry to be doing this. I am trying to piece together last night. I don’t remember much but I have a sinking feeling…. I can’t hide anything at all from my boyfriend so I told him I think you tried to kiss me when we were outside but I stopped it (which I don’t think is entirely true…?) and that I got a ride back to [neighbourhood] with you and walked home from there. Can you please text me back when you get this. I feel like such an awful human being and I am so sorry, I know this is not a cool message to be receiving"
Him: Hi, dont be sorry! I am sorry that you have that sinking feeling. Would you like to chat on the phone instead? I’m just driving back from dinner but could call you quickly.
[she calls him, no answer]
Her: Don’t worry about calling me back, thank you for the offer to chat. I honestly don’t know if I want to know the details. I have responsibility in the matter I’m sure. [my boyfriend] doesn’t deserve that. Can we please please keep this between us? I don’t know WTF happened but it shouldn’t have. I want to be honest but I’m scared he will never forgive me and he is literally the best thing to ever happen to me. I told him I texted you, I would never ask you to lie for me, and there’s no pressure to text me back. I really hope the truth is that we kissed, I stopped it, I walked home. :( "
Him: "OK i’m sorry I missed the call. Speaking outside of you and I, I tend to believe that sometimes these types of things happen and while they are obviously unfortunate and create hard things to overcome in a relationship, they shouldn’t have to mean you can’t be together anymore. It sounds like you love him very much from reading the above and I would be very upset if last night meant the undoing of that. You’re a very kind and amazing person and I hope everything between both of you works out, truly."

The next day she calls him again and tells him she needs to know WTF happened. He said that they walked home from the party together, ended up in another friends house, hooked up on the couch, and then she left. He said they made out, he had his hands down her pants, he went down on her, and then got up to put a condom on and then when he came back he said she looked visibly uncomfortable and said she wanted to leave and "just want to be in my own bed", at which point she left. Apparently she was only in the house for 20 or 30 minutes, and they werent hooking up the whole time, so whatever happened was breif. She was a mess when she heard this. She genuinely could not believe it was true and remembered none of these details. She told me all of this and was crying.
As for "Nate". He has known my GF for almost 10 years. They used to work together and kept in touch as friends from time to time. He has tried to pursue my GF before we were dating but she never allowed his advances. She is adament that she never had any romantic interest in him ,and that if she wanted to hook up with him, it would have already happened. When I read back through there conversations, they used to ask each other to hang out quite often (before we were dating), but my girlfriend said this was because she thought he was a friend and when she was new to town she thought he would be a good way to meet people since he was established and one of the few people she was familiar with.. they rarely ever actually hung out, she usually bailed. She often referred to him as "pal" "dude" or "friend" in her messages. Maybe women can comment on this, but if she was actually interested in him, she probably wouldn't have bailed on him over and over again? And she probably would have already hooked up with him? (It'd been 10 years after all). Also, in reading there conversation, it was obvious to me that this guy had eyes for my GF. He was being flirty and she failed to recognize that. She thought he was just being friendly.
Also, for the record, there was no flirting or texting prior to this party. It was just a coincidence that he was there and according to her friends that were with her they weren't even interacting all that much. My GF has one memory of talking to him when she first arrived, but she said there was no part of her that wanted to hook up with him or had eyes for him at all. She was alone at the end of the night and this guy lived in the same area so It makes sense that she would walk home with him - she thought he was a trustworthy friend. Not sure how they ended up in the other house. But its possible that she just went in to use the bathroom since she was staying in our camper which doesn't have one. I'll never know.
Her friends who were with her that night all confirmed that she was visibly intoxicated and seemed very very out of it. I've seen her in this state before, and I know how she was feeling that day, so I believe it.
THEN a week later I literally almost run into the other GUY. It was as if the universe wanted me to talk to him. I really feel that way because he lives in a different city and the odds of us running into each other where we did was really low. I had a mini panic attack and then approached him and said we need to talk. I told him I was very upset and that my GF couldnt remember everything and I wanted to know what had happened. He told me everything. There was nothing pre-planned or pre-meditated. He told me about the phone call he had with her where she told him she couldnt remember anything and he felt really awful about what had happened. I could see by the look on his face he realized he had done something wrong. He didn't mention ONE thing about my GF initiating anything, or being all over him or anything like that. Even by his own discription it didn't sound consensual to me. He said that she made it super clear to him that I was the most important thing to her and that what happened was a huge mistake. He kept telling me that he thinks I should "bury" it if I can.
Anyways, this incident seemed to have shaken my GF to the core, as much as it has me. She immediately quit drinking alcohol cold turkey (6 months sober since this incident) and is seeing a counsellor regularly. She seems genuinely distraught whenever we talk about it. She immediately cut this guy out of her life and never wants to speak to him again.
She is adament that there was no consent and no intent, but at the same time, she also doesn't remember much of anything. She has no idea what the conversation was that led her into the house.
If there was a spectrum with sexual assault on one side, and cheating on the other, I feel as though this would be much closer to the sexual assault side. Sometimes I don't know how to act. My GF may have been sexually assaulted by someone she thought she could trust - then why do I also feel like I've been cheated on.
My GF doesnt call it "cheating" but she also doesnt call it "sexual assault". She says she was "taken advantage of" and she made a huge mistake by getting herself that drunk and putting herself in such a terrible situation.
I’m not proud of this, but one night I was feeling paranoid and I looked through her phone. I wanted to see how she described the situation to her best friend. I figured, maybe she would lie to me, but she wont lie to [her best friend]. Anyways, the messages to her friend were the exact same as what she’s telling me "I’m in utter disbelief that this happened", "no part of me wanted to hook up with this guy", "I need to quit drinking" "I ruined my life for nothing" ect.
Do you support my decision to stand by this woman?
She told me right away and I would have never found out. She is adament that it was not consensual, no part of her wanted this, and it was a HUGE mistake. And perhaps most importantly she quit drinking alcohol for good. Perhaps she needed a "rock bottom" type of event to really make a change.
I wish I could stop thinking about it.

Hello, i apologize in advance for any grammar error as english isn't my first language. So for a bit of story, i did an earlobe piercing the 5th of january by a tattoo shop, the piercer put a surgical steel...rod piercing? And everything was fine for the first month, cleaned it 2-3 times a day with saline solution (Libenar, a solution used to clean the nose) and the piercing barely even made a scab. After one month i saw my piercer again to see how it was going and everything seemed fine, i could change jewel as long as it was the same material or gold. My friend gifted me a pair of surgical steel earrings to wear, wore them like two times and everything was fine (it started discharging a bit before that but it wasn't nothing serious). Then the earlobe started building up a LOT, not even after 10 minutes of cleaning it it was already stuck with dried fluid. Sometimes when i clean it it does a tiny drop of blood. I contacted my piercer and he said to do chamomile wraps with lukewarn water, it does help a bit with the slight pain but it isn't really solving the problem so far. Is it normal that it started discharging so much after a month? I mean it's almost three now, my lther earring healed in a month or so...what can i do? Thank you for reading.

I recently upgraded my iPhone X for the 14 pro plus. USB CarPlay was working just fine for a few days and then it stopped. I tried all the tricks Google told me too and still nothing. When I unplug the USB from the car itself and plug it back in, the CarPlay notification pops up for a millisecond and disappears and my car doesn’t connect to the CarPlay. Any ideas of how I can fix this?

I guess I just want to vent about my maid of honor. Let’s call her Sally. We’ve been best friends since high school. Things haven’t always been great though… I feel like I should give some background context to paint a picture of how our friendship has been throughout the years.
In high school, she was the type of friend who would make a big deal out of petty things and she would get jealous. Just to sum it up, as an example, she once got mad at me for making plans with a different friend first and not cancelling them to hang out with her instead. This type of stuff would happen all the time.
Eventually we graduate and we stayed close friends of course. We would continue to hang out about once a week like we always did when we were in high school. During my freshman year of college, I met a guy and we hit it off. I got excited and I told her that he asked me out on a dinner date for that following Saturday night. Instead of being happy for me, her response was “you’re going to need to change that to brunch, I want to hang out with you on Saturday night”. I told her “no, he invited me to dinner, it would be rude to just try and change what he planned for us, you and I can get brunch or we can just hang out Sunday” to which she responded “no, if you’re choosing a guy over your best friend, then I’m done” She ended our friendship right then and there.
Eventually, me and that guy break up in about 6 months. After that, she reached out to me to apologize how things ended and she wanted to be friends again. I forgave her and we went back to normal. Ever since then, it seemed to me like she really changed and matured from how she used to be.
Then, she got comfortable and started acting the same as in high school. Just as an example of one scenario that’s happened, we took photos together and there was one I didn’t like in particular and she posted it on instagram anyways. I asked her to delete it and post a different one where I looked good too, and she said “no, I already got a lot of likes on it and anyways, I look really good, nobody is paying attention to you anyways”.
After dealing with her bullshit for all these years, I finally meet my fiancé. When I showed her a picture of us together, she said “oh he’s really short” and “he looks geeky, but as long as you’re happy, I’m happy for you”. She just never had anything kind or positive to say.
I wanted to set up a day for mine and Sally’s friend group since high school to meet him. I asked everyone for which days they’re available and everyone got back to me except for her. We find a day that works for everyone so I text her and ask her if she’s available that day. No response. We end up hanging out without her, and she ends up seeing the photos and sends me a strongly worded paragraph going off about how we left her out and didn’t invite her, even though she didn’t respond to any of my texts.. I brought this up to her and she says “well I just forgot to respond, you should’ve texted me again.”
She eventually gets a boyfriend too, and then starts to blow me off. I started to have to initiate every conversation and hang out between us, although most of the time she was too busy to hang out with me anyways.
Finally, we are at present day. I get engaged and tell Sally, she’s really happy for me. But then a few days later, she tells me her boyfriend of a few months is now shopping for her engagement ring. Then she proceeds to tell me all about their dream wedding and how they plan on moving in together within a few months once they have enough money saved.
Then, my fiancé and I break up (don’t worry, it was only for a few days, we decided to work things out and go to couples therapy, all that jazz, and our break up was nothing related to cheating or abuse or anything crazy like that, just miscommunication between us) When I told Sally about the break up, she seemed almost happy… she said “well he was ugly anyways and you can do so much better, let’s find you a new man”. A few days later though, we decide to get back together and I mentioned it to her and she went off. I was not expecting that reaction, since everyone else in my life was really happy we decided to work things out rather than breaking things off for good. She told me I’m making a huge mistake and she couldn’t believe that I’m “choosing a guy over my best friend”. She then tells me she doesn’t want to see me for a while because she can’t believe me.
About a month later, she reaches out and asks how me and my fiancé are doing. I tell her that we’ve been going to couples therapy and things have been great. She then says she’s happy that him and I are “taking things slow”. Whatever that means.
So now we’re at last week… she reaches out, says she misses me and wants to hang out. We meet up and she says “are you seriously wearing your engagement ring again?” I say “yeah, why?” She says “I thought you guys are going to couples therapy” I said “we still are” She then says “you shouldn’t be rushing into being engaged so quickly, you guys broke up, you need to take it slow” I say “we broke up for 5 days over a dumb misunderstanding we had while we were both under a lot of stress, we’ve been working things out for the past 2 months, we’re ready to start wedding planning now” She then goes off on a rant about how I’m choosing a guy over her and that if I value our friendship, I wouldn’t marry him. Then she says “if you guys don’t break off your engagement and wait at least another year to get back together, I’m not coming to the wedding because this is too soon. Nobody is going to come to your wedding, nobody is going to support this.” She then storms away and we haven’t talked since.
After that, she messaged my sister and told her that they “need to have an intervention” with me and that they need to “stop the wedding”. My sister didn’t respond and just showed me the screenshots.
But yeah, this is where I’m at with Sally. We haven’t spoken in over a week. I’m not even sure what to make of this friendship anymore.

We just had our finals this past week. I'm in a competitive 12t9cat that has been going for 6 or 7 years. I had a great draft for being in the 12/13 turn and built my team around LeBron and Halliburton and finished the season 12 points above 2nd place. 1st round bye. The works!
Fast forward to the finals. All week it's back and forth, nip and tuck, a real barn burner with 6 of the 9 (nice) categories up for grabs. Sunday night comes. Still back and forth up until the last game. Lakers Magic ends, matchup is over;
My team is up .001 on FG% (literally 1 shot either way).
He's up 1 rebound (that bullshit Zubac rebound on Lillards half court three at the end of the game when it was way over gave it to him).
I'm up 2 assists.
We're tied at 40 on steals!
Matchup ends 4-4-1. Tiebreaker goes to the higher seed. I win $1800!
Just woke up and in the middle of the night they RESCINDED Khris Middletons steal faster than his hairline! Flipped steals. He wins. 4-5.

It's been a few years since I made a lot of international calls, but at the time I was setup with reasonably cheap international rates via my provider, KT, for the few times I needed to place a real phone call.
Recently I have a new project and have needed to make quite a few international calls, and was surprised with $350 worth of international calls via SK telecom, and only $1 of international calls via KT. The international exit code from Korea determines the carrier, 001 being KT and 006 being SK, so the KT representative told me.
Problem is I never explicitly dialed either, as iPhone "automatically" generates the international exit code in place of the "+" symbol. I vaguely remember there was a setting for this many years ago, but I can't find it anywhere. As far as I know, my mobile phone only know that I'm a KT subscriber and I can find no indication of SK or an SK prefix.
The SK rate may be a fair rate, as I don't have a detailed call record yet of how many minutes this represents. I'm just trying to figure out why my KT phone seems to have automatically elected to use the SK carrier international exit code. Any thoughts?
