I'm six foot three, fairly slim with short brown hair and grey/green eyes. I love walking in the countryside and swimming and keeping in shape while enjoying nature. I also do a bit of yoga too. Does anyone have any experience with trying to get this into local theatres? Seeing this on the big screen would be an amazing experience and would love to try and make it happen.

We nursed a baby squirrel to maturity, and she was so much fun! But after about a year, she wanted to be free. So one day, I took her out to a tree in our backyard and set her free.
She seemed thrilled at first, but then the feral cats were after her, and I couldn’t let THAT happen. So I took her rabbit cage, opened the door, held it up for her to get in, and she gladly went right back in. Closed the door and took her back into the house.
But, she still needed to be free, so we took her to a relative’s house that was wooded and no cats to chase her. The elderly lady who lived on the same property would hand feed Shirl and let her hang out on her screened in porch.
I figure Shirl finally got married and had a family of her own.
But she jumped right into that cage to be saved from the cats! Loved that girl!

I’m cat 1 and normally one of the strongest guys out on the sunday group ride but been noticing the past few weeks almost everyone in the group been bringing out their fast summer setups. I was planning to use my winte training bike through the whole summer and save my fast bike for race days but i’m definetly feeling a bit jealous when i see them on their Tarmacs and Madones and i’m on my old 10 speed TCR.

The interpretations I’m finding are confusing.
Is it haram to compete for “worldly gain” or am I understanding this incorrectly?
The prophet PBUH was a merchant, although he was content with a modest income, so I suppose he wasn’t competing in amassing capital, but there were several companions including the 3rd righteous caliph Uthman RA who was extremely wealthy and a companion who went by the name Abdulrahman Ibn Awf who was inconceivably wealthy (even during a time when there was poverty) but is one of the 10 people who have been guaranteed jannah.
My understanding is that competition is good if its regulated as it allows for fair prices, and innovation in improving the product / service in question.
Even extreme cases of dominant competition that are synonymous with crony capitalism aren’t necessarily always bad.
Google has a monopoly on search and it didn’t get their by cheating, it got their by providing the best product and organizing humanities information with the worlds most robust algorithms. Yes their business model is predicated primarily on haram income but that is besides the point.
Microsoft has a duopoly on operating systems and they got there by outcompeting everyone. Yes they destroyed their competitors on the way to the top but we now have a robust and standardized system that has created tremendous values for consumers and business all around the world.
A monopoly that is haram from my understanding would be one where a company essentially holds an industry hostage and jacks prices, but in countries like the US at least they have anti-trust laws in place that come into effect to break down entities of this nature.
So I don’t see how competition is haram (unless I’m interpreting the surah wrong) as condition is fundamental to free markets, which I know Islam is aligned with (well- almost free, some transactions are prohibited as are some products).

My wife (40F) and I (42M) have been together for over 15 years and married for 10 with a couple kids. Things in (and out) of the bedroom have definitely slowed down over the years with the stress of jobs and schedules with kids. We do a fairly good job sharing the responsibilities of our daily life but my wife just needs way more sleep than I do, so her energy levels for sex are often really depleted. I've still have a very high sex drive while hers has decreased quite a bit. Most cases, she will decline to have sex because she just doesn't have the mental and physical energy to fully engage. I've always considered myself a giver and get lots of mental satisfaction from pleasing her and helping her achieve an orgasm.
Within the last month, we've figured out how to get satisfaction with our current state of life and it stems from my love of giving oral. One evening after getting the kids to bed, my wife wanted to wind down herself and scroll away on her phone. She got comfy in was lounging in her bra and panties mindlessly scrolling away. I started to explore her body a bit with kisses and she said that she really just wanted to zone out and scroll away. In that moment I said that she can go ahead and keep scrolling and I'll go ahead and do my thing. Somehow, through the whole order, we found it wildly hot for me to engage in oral while she did her thing and it was satisfying for both of us.
So within the past couple weeks, it's been a fairly common routine for us to keep up with this activity. She's been opening up a bit more about it and becoming more comfortable with the arrangement. So much so, that the last few times I've made my way to bed, she's there stripped of her bottoms laying on a towel just waiting while she scrolls away. And it is very satisfying for me! We will occasionally engage if full on sex but I'm happy with how things are going.
At this point with how things are going, I'm pretty happy with this new arrangement. There's is still more going on in our life (check my comments) that keep me fairly busy, but I'm a very happy guy right now. Has anyone else had this type of arrangement with their partner? I'm wondering if something that might be a lot more common than I'd expect.

My older son recently turned 18 and will be starting college in the fall, so I’m looking for advice on the next step toward helping him establish his financial life. What do you think?
Currently he has Checking and Savings account in a local credit union (6% interest in first $1k of savings!!!), jointly owned by him and his mother and I. He does not have a regular job but wants to get into education and was able to get on the substitute teacher list at a local school (when it doesn’t conflict with his school). He uses Apple Pay configured with his debit card and Apple Cash. Our goal is to help him learn good financial habits within some safeguards, while starting him on the road to financial independence.

• Allowance and gifts go half Checking, half Savings.
  
• Checking is his to spend as he wants but we have overdraft protection disabled so if he spends too much it will be rejected.
  
• he is not allowed to spend from savings without approval, and he knows there must be a special reason
  
• for emergencies, we configured Apple Pay Cash, or I can deposit in his accounts for immediate use
  

What is a good next step? Should I encourage him to get a credit card to start building a credit history? He’s not asking for one and does not have a regular job so I hesitate to push that risk on him. How hard should I push him to get a job, consistent with his education remaining the priority? Should we convert his accounts to be in his name only? He’ll need to eventually and it might help establish his future but also cuts one of the safety nets. Okay so I remember pretty much nothing about it (I skimed through it cause i didn't like it) but I just wanna know the name of it. Basically mmc and his friends were so popular and cocky and the fmc was probably poor ? And it was constantly mentioned how slim-thick she was (her big boobs with small waist etc.) And like they had the whole enemies to lovers? They might have been also dealing drugs or something? Just getting into trouble a lot.

I have a lot of chronic health problems, including several digestive issues. These include intermittent ,unexplained gastroparesis; GERD; IBS-C; and tortuous colon. This has resulted in me having chronic, severe constipation and pain, for which I take Amitiza twice a day. Even taking it twice a day, I generally don't have a bowel movement except every 2-4 days (and have gone over 10 days without one, when I am not taking Amitiza); and sometimes I still have to take an OTC stimulant laxative 1-2 a month for it. It has been really bad, and this is the best help we could find (We being my gastroenterologist and I.), after trying just about every medication on the market, diet changes, exercise, etc.
About two weeks ago, I got a severe respiratory virus that lasted about ten days and really put me out flat for most of the time. I'm still having problems with laryngitis and sinus problems, and it has been over two weeks, snce I first got sick. The strange thing is though that during this time, my constipation seems to have resolved itself, after over twenty-five years of problems. I ran out of Amitiza shortly after I got sick, and I was too sick to go to the pharmacy to get it refilled; and I just let it go for he time being. I've run out of it before, and it usually resulted in rapid worsening of symptoms, including very bad abdominal pain, ceasing of bowel movements, etc. However this time, it seemed that my bowel just started doing what it was supposed to be doing. I would describe it as "normal" -- no pain, bowel movements every 1-3 days, and no sickness related to it. The only thing I can think of that actually affected my digestive tract while I was sick is that I was unable to eat anything more than a small amount of apple sauce for several days. I lost eleven pounds in a week but rapidly put four pounds back on, when I realized that I was becoming dehyrdated and started pushing fluids as hard as I could. While I am not complaining in any way whatsoever, I'm trying to figure out what having this virus could have done to my body to make my digestive symptoms suddenly improve so much. I'm even having less stomach pain, nausea, and heart burn now.
The only medication I took for my virus was twice that I took NyQuil, before realizing that I shouldn't be taking a cough suppressant. When I got better, I started eating as much healthy food as I could, until I was back to my normal diet; and the improvement have persisted. I really would love to know what caused the relief of symptoms, in case the symptoms return, and I need to try to repeat the process.

I got accepted to a new job last Monday, the 22nd.
I was a daily pot smoker before then, and that was the last day I smoked any weed in preparation for taking a drug test.
I thought I was in the clear if I gave myself a week of detoxing and following a popular guide someone posted to /trees that revolved around drinking 10+ cups of water a day and exercising while taking B vitamins.
Well, yesterday at a Memorial Day party I was talking to friends who were all experienced smokers and they all told me I had no chance of passing if I had my drug test this upcoming week, which I’m pretty sure is when the employer would want me to take it.
I started panicking and went to a nearby CVS mid-party to get a home drug test kit, immediately opened it and pissed in it in my car, and sure enough to the testimony of my friends I tested positive for THC.
I was very anxious then and going back to the party everyone told me the only hope of passing it was to get one of my roommates who don’t smoke to pee in a transportable bag for me and then use that for the urine sample at the testing facility.
I also took some hits off a joint later that night, as everyone told me I may as well since I wasn’t going to pass the test with my own urine at that point…
I don’t know when exactly I need to take the test this upcoming week, but I am more than anxious thinking about it today, and also regretting the hits I took last night realizing I may have possibly been able to piss clean if I had put as much time as possible between the last time I smoked and the test, but now I just put more THC back into my system.
What should I do in this scenario? Is getting a clean friend to piss for me truly my best option at this point?
Is it still possible for me to get a clean piss out if I know I have to do it this week? I do feel that I would be burning my one chance to provide a clean sample if I tried my own instead of trying to sneak in my friends’.
Also some extra information, I live in Philadelphia, and I did have a medical marijuana card at one point but it expired sometime last year.
I also am working through a staffing agency who presented me as an employee, for whatever that’s worth. The projected start date for the actual job is the 19th of June.
I’m just wondering what all of my options are and what other knowledgeable people on this topic think my best route is to pass this drug test.

I am someone that has pretty bad social anxiety. I don't have a whole lot of money and I was just looking for some gyms around town where I could get into shape for cheap. The most I can do right now is $10 a month. I was thinking planet fitness but there are too many people there all the time :/

I (23f) have this tendency to feel really anxious, awkward and embarrassed the day after I go to a party, especially music/dance events. For those who are unfamiliar with the whole scene, these events are packed with people, and usually a smaller community where everyone knows everyone and I see many familiar faces. I am talking about music events, such as raves or disco nights, taking place in clubs or other bigger venues in my city (I live in Europe). I am also a university student, and I have a large social circle, thus it is common to bump into people I haven't talked to for weeks/months.
What happens is basically I get 'socially high' (especially after drinking alcohol), and open up way too much and too quickly when I talk to someone. I just really enjoy myself in these social, vibrant scenes, and I am literally thrilled when I bump into someone I know, and start talking to them immediately. It's like I lose all my social boundaries and overshare with people, and I usually get waay too private with them too. I compliment random attendees for their outfits, offer my cigarettes to strangers etc. I am just being generally too kind. It's like I am in a different, alternative reality where everything is perfect, everyone is my friend, and I have absolutely no worries. Basically, the entire time I spend at the party is a 'catharsis' and I do not watch my behaviour, I act like a happy little child. I also have a feeling that I never want the party to end, because then I have to return to reality, and face my daily struggles. Towards the end, I usually get very depressed that I soon have to go home, and try to have a last drink, or cigarette outside.
Then, the next day I always feel very regretful of things I said, or information I overshared. I also sometimes lie or overstate small things with my friends, just to win their attention for a second, and I feel extremely embarrased and guilty over it. I consider myself a balanced and normal person in my everyday life, and I just do not understand why I cannot control myself at these parties. I really wish I was less enthusiastic, and I always promise myself I would behave, and then I never do.
I feel awful about this whole issue. I see other people acting similarly, especially under substance use, but I still feel like everyone is ashamed of me and talks about me behind my back. The worst part is by all means my guilt, and the embarrasment. It got to the point where I fear to go out with my friends, because I am scared I would have a too good time and lose my boundaries. It is actually out of my control, I can feel that I want to shut my mouth and I just cannot. And the next day, I just cannot stop thinking about things I said or did, I overthink every single moment or interaction I shared. I know it is just my anxiety, and is not real, but I cannot stop.
I think I have just gone too crazy recently, as I study and work full time, and whenever I get the chance I go party to blow off some steam and relax. I wish I started attending less toxic, more conventional events, such as a book club, board game night or just a civilised, non-drinking dinner with colleagues. I feel like I would equally enjoy that, but unfortunately, these are really rare in my generation and even if we plan something like it, it turns into a wild night out.
How could I fix this issue at my age? I am 23, and I have been going out since I was 15. Still, I never experienced anything like this when I was younger.

So, my last car (2016 base velo) got totally fucked on thursday and i just replaced it with a 2016 Turbo R-Spec 7-speed DCT because fuckit, why not? I needed a car, wanted to go with a Turbo regardless, and missed out on a Rally edition (I wanted to get a manual transmission, the rally had about 10k less miles and was like 3k cheaper but like 5 hours away). My question is, what are the key differences between a regular Turbo model and the R-Spec for that year? I read a little bit and all I could find was suspension and maybe a different ECU mapping. From what I’m seeing, its a different instrument cluster and interior trim as well as a weird 7-speed transmission, but everything else is pretty much the same as the other VT’s I’ve been in/driven for that timeframe. I also noticed that she REALLY picks up in 3rd gear, like we finally went into hyperspace in the millennium falcon or something, which is a little bit different from other VT’s I’ve driven, but definitely not in a bad way. Could anyone shed some light on what notable differences there are? I do plan on doing minimal mods to the car, like an intake and high flow cat and maybe a tune and a sway bar and tsb, but beyond that and a wrap (bc i don’t fw white cars) and spec-d headlights again, I’m not planning to mod the car much, but any suggestions in those areas would be greatly appreciated.

Made around 300k last bull run and was able to exit. (Top account value was around 550k)
I sacced for PLS and PLSX both 5k each. Bought HEX April of 2020. Sold way too early before big pay day.
What I can tell you is that the sacrifice, specially for bigger sacrifices paid off very handsomely. I cashed out around 2x for PLS and sold PLSX around 10% below sac price.
Richard Heart has very good takes but the total amount sacced is not 2b. Majority of the sac was in HEX by OA.
Anyway, in finance there is something called "front running demand" this is what happens when you sell a product to awaiting customers even before the launch of the product. Usually this is done for games, concerts, sporting events obviously. The people who will buy or pay for the product already have spent their money on it. Sure yea there might be some new ppl on the sidelines waiting but it is marginal at best.
That means, the existing demand has diminished. The demand was HEX holders and RH followers.
How do you increase demand? You onboard new people. But why would new people onboard? What does PLS offer that no other EVM chain does? What can i do on PLS that i cant do on Avax C Chain, Binance Chain, Emerald Rose Chain, and 100s of other EVMs.
Short answer is, nothing. They are all the same.
I have looked at the projects coming into PLS. They are just copies of already existing projects. Lending, memes, swaps, staking, gaming, defi etc. So what exactly is the value proposition?
On top of that PLS will not be getting any future updates of ETH.
For now I dont see much value proposition here. It is just another EVM copy with lower fees.
There are other projects out there that are innovating and attracting more developers. Do your research and good luck. I hope the best for PLS, i might throw a small bag once the price bottoms.

I know posting here is like screaming into a void and hoping for a helpful response. But sometimes a little screaming can help. I know it is every depressed individual's first response is to consider ending it all when life gets really really bad. As much as it sounds like a cliché, I feel the same.
I lost my best friend over a stupid mistake. I had to let go of a lover who I saw a future with. I might lose my job. And I have way too many responsibilities to take individual decisions. One wrong step from my end will result in a disaster for my family. I have to keep going through normal life while it feels like my insides are slowly dying and causing me pain.
I am so tired of swimming against the tide and having to try so much for even the most basic things. I don't feel like going on anymore. I know people have it worse. I know people have it better. And I know that comparison will only make me feel worse. But all around me I see people getting what they want. Finding people who love them. Finding things and situations that make them happy. While I have been fighting with this invisible enemy since I was a child. At what point can I call life unfair without feeling guilty? At what point can I give up? I just want to say that I have had enough. And for change, have someone who actually listens to me when i say it.

I have always been very big into the local music scene in my area and met my now ex through our mutual taste in music. She is a touring band photographer and its now ruining one of my favorite hobbies. I was scrolling through instagram the other day and band I follow posted a post-tour picture of the bands on tour and the crew that was working the tour and of course one of the bands on that tour just so happened to have hired her as their photographer. I won't say what band it was but let's just say it was one I really liked but now its just ruined it for me. I can't even follow the artists I like, or see them live, anymore without potentially having to see her again. Why can't I just be free of her. Even going no-contact and blocking her on all social media she still shows up. It's been 10 months since we broke up and I'm still running across her online.

I'm currently reading the LN and just arrived till chapter 4 of vol 12, "the taste of death". Here Subaru just got teleported in the sanctuary by Beatrice, who has got killed by Elsa. Right at the begging of the chapter Subaru, who noticed the snow, says “This isn’t funny… It’s still the second day…". Little time later, when he asks Garfiel about Emilia he replies “Dunno that, either. —The Princess has been holed up in the tomb since last night, see?”. But this just doesn't make sense judging by the events of that loop. To make everything clearer (I know loops are something hard to remember sometimes) I reassumed what happened since the checkpoint till Subaru and Garfiel's encounter:

-Subaru wakes up next to Emilia, he's scared (he just experienced the appearance of Satella) and she comforts him immediately after her awakening.
-Later that night Subaru meets with Ryuzu, who explains him about the replicas and the "apostle of greed" thing.
-Going to the cathedral to sleep Subaru runs into Emilia, who's taking a stroll to clear her mind. They chat a bit before parting and going to bed.
—end of day 1—
-In the early morning Subaru departs from the sanctuary, leaving Emilia a letter.
-On his way, Subaru meets Garfiel near the barrier where he says the well-known sentence "I know hell".
-Little time after noon, Subaru arrives to the mansion.
-More or less one hour later; Subaru deals with Beatrice, wanting her to evacuate the mansion with Frederica and the others (who left the mansion few minutes before).
-Subaru and Beatrice are interrupted by Elsa.
-Subaru tries to escape towards the village with Beatrice but they get run into Meili.
-Elsa (who had been slowed by shamak) reaches them and kills Beatrice. But the spirit, moments before disappearing, teleportes Subaru in the sanctuary again.
-Subaru notices everything's enveloped by the snow and wonders how's that possible as it's still the second day.
-Subaru meets Garfiel, who tells him Emilia's in the tomb since last night.
My question is when did Emilia get in the tomb? According to Garfield, it happened the prior night. But this can't be for that night Emilia already tried the trial, waking up beside Subaru and getting out with him. Not even 24 hours have passed since then and you can attempt the trial only once a day. Maybe I didn't understand something, but this doesn't look to make sense to me. Can you please clear this for me?
