- been working with him for more than a year as an RA, support me in my research grants application, connecting me with executives and researchers, and wrote me seller rec letter for out of reach fellowships which help me got in
- I do have a positive impression of him as he gave up a prestigious career to help disadvantaged population, is gentle with me and other students, invited me to have lunch and coffee with him with his research team and one and one, is married to someone that has a mental disorder, give me heads up about some quirks his her boss like showing up late and is a "people person", and tried to help a student that went through a mental breakdown (I don't know the full picture though).
- Only thing negative I think of him is when he made an insensitive comment comparing himself as autistic as he can pick on financial trends well but that was only one time
- I'm not registered with DSS due to fear of stigma and I performed academically well, but his positive reaction will nudge me to
- I'm contemplating a career pivot as I don't like business and want to work in public policy research, and I need his recommendation to make this possible
- The project I'm working on is becoming more socially demanding as it requires me to interpret and gauge subtle social nuances that are lost on me and requires more networking and need me to interact with highly placed individuals that is close to him. Plus, I am starting to have trouble with prioritizing competing projects and tasks
- His boss I think is starting to form a bad impression of me as I don't engage him as much and somewhat exclusively talk to my professor
- If I tell him now it will give us two weeks to adjust, four weeks for a break, then 6 weeks to work again
- Also it is expected from him that I move on from the research program as I have an upcoming internship in a different city and my stated interest at the time was not research

- Worried that he may think me through his recent lens of another student breakdown and start distancing himself from me and decrease his trust in my ability
- I may start treating him as a therapist as he is kinda the only "adult" I trust but I'm going through therapy and a peer mentorship which will make him a last resort

I have a problem that has been ongoing for at least a couple years where when I try to load games (both through steam and games not through steam), sometimes they just won't continue to load. I can the process is responding, and if I watch from launch, it shows up, gets some CPU cycles, and starts loading into ram. But all of the games affected by this issue stop somewhere between 150mb-180mb of memory and then just appear to hang. Process still is responding, it's just not doing anything including using any CPU. Games affected:
Forza Horizon 5
Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege
Project Zomboid
Open XCOM
Open TTD
dozens of others, but that's a short list of both steam games and non-steam games that are affected.

Anyone else here notice after playing this game for a 100 or so hours that they sometimes make a Project Zomboid sambo?

TwentyOne20 - Your Partner in Crafting Visual Masterpieces

Good question - more students should be asking this
You can simplify this into 3 parts. Understanding yourself, understanding what is out there, and connecting the dots.
Step 1: Figuring out who you are
First, figure out who you are, your strengths and what you like. This is important because if you have a good idea of what your strengths are or what you are more naturally aligned with, there will be less effort in trying to adapt to these careers. If you're more inclined towards math for example, looking for careers that are more related to this or that use these skills would be ideal since youll likely be more natural and adept. You are also more likely to enjoy it
To do this, try to identify what kind of mods, what skills you practice in diff mods, and what kind of domain knowledge you have come across that you enjoy
These skills can be anything. Stats, using excel, essay writing, interacting w current affairs, working with others, helping people learn and grow, etcetc
There are plenty of sources for learning more about yourself. Things like CCA can also help - I realised that I could do event organising, and I actually secured an internship offer because of my ability to do events
Feel like you don't have enough of these experiences? Good news - university has plenty of these things. Join an EXCO, join a new club, search for external programmes, do something. If you feel like you arent doing enough, just do more!
You should always be doing more of this. You should also keep evaluating your fit, strengths and alignments as time goes on and you take more mods. The more info you collect about yourself, the better. Note that you don't have to have everything figured out - you just need to know enough about yourself to know where to start and what to prioritise. Realistically youre always going to have multiple facets about yourself anyway. This is about narrowing things down
So after you have figured out more about yourself...
Step 2: Figure out whats out there
Second, figure out whats out there. Look at job offers online. Go to your school's job portal and look at job descriptions. Create Linkedin, just keep searching for jobs using keywords you identify you enjoyed earlier. Read the job descriptions. Google what they mean. Repeat.
Eventually youll find a few areas you feel youre more interested in.
At this point, I would strongly suggest to start reaching out to seniors. If you're from SMU, just ask the ask.SMU tele groupchat or faculty groupchat
"Hey anyone interned as xyz before? Have some questions Id like to find out more about!!"
Or, go on Linkedin, and search for "SMU Marketing Intern" or something to that effect, then ask if you can PM them
Go for more networking events. Speak with graduates, alum, or those who have came before and went. It could be anyone. The more people you ask, the more likely someone will speak with you, the more likely youll get to learn firsthand.
Just remember: Be genuine, respectful, and polite. Nobody is obligated to share with you anything, and you are not entitled to their time. Expect to not hear back.
Eventually, go for internships. Learn more. Do more work, tasks, projects. Collect more data about your likes and dislikes, and what skillsets certain jobs require you to have.
Repeat!
Step 3: Connecting the Dots
At this point, you have some idea of what you like, and some idea of what is out there
All that's left to do is to connect the dots. Search for roles on your own. Apply on your own. Tailor your CV / cover letter on your own.
If you find roles you are super keen on doing, bear in mind their job description and work towards it
You should keep this process in mind as you move through your university life. I am confident that as long as you keep humbling yourself enough to be open and learning more throughout your schooling life, not just about what is out there but about yourself as well, you will find something.
Google what is Singapore's unemployment rate. Its pretty low! You'll be just fine :)

4. RAM - DDR4 Memory, 16GB (2x 8GB) / 3200MHz, Corsair Vengeance LPX: I chose a Corsair Vengeance LPX memory kit with a total of 16GB (2x 8GB). These memories have a frequency of 3200MHz and a latency of 16-18-18-36. Has heat spreaders to assist with cooling.
