TW: Birth, Loss, Addiction
Hey everyone I’m sorry I need a little vent and I don’t know where else to go. I’m currently on my second day third day of Letrozole today. I have zero hope that it’s going to work, but I’ll just wait & see.
My sister in law just gave birth a month ago. It makes me feel like crap because she’s an addict & me & my husband we’re forced to take care of her second child. Now she has this third child & I genuinely don’t think it’s fair. Her first child was in her care & she decided to go to the bathroom & get a fix & our nephew jumped in the pool & drowned. I’m grieving the loss of my nephew, taking care of a child w/ disabilities that isn’t my own, taking care of my own 5yo that is having a hard time living w/ another child, & ttc baby #2 for two years now. I feel like I’m alone & like God just isn’t on my side. I don’t understand why I’m having such a hard time getting pregnant when she’s out here just popping out children & don’t even take care of them. Every time she sends pics to the family group chat a part of me just crumbles & I want to climb into a cave & be alone.
I’m sorry I’m venting all of this, but I’m just so sad. I feel like a terrible mother. Like my body can’t give my daughter the sibling she deserves. I’m normally not a jealous person, but this person being such a bad person/mother & is getting blessed w/ multiple children it just makes me mad & not understand.
I pray that I get blessed w/ another blessing soon. Again, I’m sorry for the vent. Today just a lot of emotions coming out.

As a teen my mother accidentally broke my hand. I’m 30 now & till this day I am not sure if it actually was an accident. Now they’re together but at the time my parents were separated. My father living in his own apartment. One night my mom picked me up from a friends’ & we started arguing on the way home. It was about them being so on/off during the separation. I was basically scolding her to stop behaving immaturely & to make up their minds as it was confusing my little brothers especially. She did not like this.
Once home I started walking down the drive way & got on my phone to call my dad as I didn’t want to spend the night at my moms. She reached out for the phone but instead grabbed my pinky & yanked it hard a couple times. I felt cracks. I started running away down our street & my hand/fingers instantly became super swollen, purple, & throbbing. My mom claimed it was dark & that she thought she had a hold of my phone.
I waited for my dad at the neighborhood marketa. It was late & the area with the only light. X-rays ended up showing fractures in my hand & pinky. I had a cast for some months. There is much more to the story but that is the gist of it. I don’t recall what I told nurses, doctors, and teachers at the ER or at school. Nor do I recall what we told relatives. Why didn’t anyone question how I was injured? Why didn’t I think to call child protective services? I was probably thinking of my younger brothers & not wanting to leave them during such a tough time.
Eventually my cast came off & it became as though nothing ever happened. I’ve brought it up since to inform my parents that this was one of the traumatic incidents that I believe has contributed to my depression now as an adult. Am I being dramatic? How would you deal with this now and then?

Soo I 34(f) have been dating single dad (40) a little over a year. Everything seemed wonderful first 6-7months. I felt at peace with him and always wanted to be around him. He stated the same. In fact he said he wanted to spend forever with me and have a baby together. I am also a single parent. I waited to introduce him to my 3kiddos until I felt secure in the relationship and thought it would last. He is amazing with them however I can tell when all 3 are around his anxiety gets the best of him and gets stressed. He hasnt been around his own child alot as he left his home country for a better life. I feel like he had unrealistic expectations about children. So thats a little difference between us about child rearing… but we worked through it and eventually moved in together.
Upon moving in together I’ve noticed a few things don’t like at all. I’ll just stick to the one I want advice on though. There has been a female name pop up on his phone when we would just be visiting each other before moving in and he said she was a friend he had made from PT school and they both came to US same time. That’s fine, totally cool to have female friends. Not like I don’t have male friends.
Well.. we move in together and this chick is messaging him ALL THE TIME! We’re talking around his normal wake up time all the way to midnight. I told him it was making me uncomfortable that he was talking to another female so often and especially when it cut into our time being together. He immediately became enraged and called me controlling and he wasn’t cheating. Mind you I never even suggested that.. I just said I wanted boundaries in place. That his “friend” should respect our time. He then was like what you want me to tell her we can’t talk anymore??! I eventually was like nevermind just forget it.
Then came the day I had to go to the ER. I asked him if he would take me because the last time I went (2days prior) my appendix was enflamed so I was scared I would have to have surgery for it… Didn’t seem like he wanted to but he did come with me. He was on his phone the entire time. Then I noticed her name popping up continually.. he was giggling at her messages. It was disrespectful from my point of view as I only asked him to be there as my support. If I had known I’d be going through the ordeal on my own (even if he was physically in the room) I would never have bothered asking him. I didn’t feel up to having an argument that day so the next day I brought it up to him again. How it was making me feel and especially not being supported at the ER. He was like fine here’s the messages. I was shocked. They were talking about her sx life and sending sxual memes to each other. I told him that was totally inappropriate to be talking to another woman like that if he wanted us to be serious. He exploded on me and was saying it was nothing. Just jokes being sent between them and not meaning he wanted to have s*x with her. I repeated it was inappropriate and I’ve never spoken that way to any males behind his back like that. He stated I trust you so there’s no issue plus you’re not the type to cheat. I again repeated this was making me feel gross that I mean nothing to him, etc. He says won’t happen any more.
One night its between 11pm-12am message pops up from her. All I said is I thought we talked about this.. its late. Massive argument ensues.. I’m told I’m super controlling and annoying. I say I dont understand how I’m controlling at all when I ask the bare minimum. It leads to him throwing a gift I got him (a picture of us which he asked for) and breaks. He says he’d never want to marry me.. among other hurtful things. I’m heartbroken at this point and have done absolutely nothing to him to deserve these outbursts (none of these happen around my kids—not in the house at the time). I even apologized to him for whatever and he yelled at me for that too.. saying this is why people treat you cruelly and take advantage. I can’t afford to live in the home on my own so I just gave up and told myself he’s just a roommate dont try anymore.
Next day he messages while at work an apology and says he talked to the girl and won’t message anymore. Week or so goes by and while we’re watching something on his phone she messages him from fb messenger. I’m like whats that about he blows me off with vague excuse like oh i dont know. I dont message her back any more. I know I’m not crazy like he acts like I am.. there is something going on there. But I wanted an outsiders opinion. Because weeks after that she’s 3rd message in line up on messenger If you havent talked to this person then they wouldnt be that far up the ladder. At this point I’m super depressed. I dont understand what is so wrong with me that every guy I’ve ever been with cheats… it makes me feel so so unworthy and like trash.

Okay this might be long winded and I shall try to explain it as best I can.
So me and my girlfriend used to share a switch when ACNH first came out and she was the first one to play it on our switch (making her the resident representative) she's since bought her own switch and has her profile on there now.
My question is this: what will happen if she starts up ACNH on her new switch? Will it overwrite any of our saves on our joint switch or will she just start a brand new island on there with no affect to our old island? (Hope I'm explaining this well enough)
My next question is if I remove the island representative account from my switch (her account) will I lose any progress on my island or will I just be promoted to island representative?
