I (21F) met this guy (21M) off of a dating app in September of 2022. He had gotten out of a 3-year-long relationship 3 months prior and I had also gotten out of a much shorter (3 months) relationship around the same time. I wasn’t technically looking for anything serious at the time because I had gotten brutally cheated on and planned on just kind of having fun and getting back out there but after hanging out with this guy quite a bit, I caught feelings for him. After about a month of talking and going on dates, we both began introducing our friends to each other. One night we decided to introduce some of our friends and we all hung out together. (Side note: before I had met him he had been on a couple of dates with one of my friend's other friends whom I had only met a couple of times and was never close with)
During the night he ended up talking to my best friend and she ended up asking him if he was planning on asking me to be his girlfriend since things were getting more serious, he replied that he didn’t know what to do because he had just gotten out of a relationship and felt that it was still really early. Which I totally understood. During that night I later found out that he had talked to my other friend whose other close friend he had previously gone out with. At this point he was really drunk and ended up asking her about the previous girl and if she knew why she stopped talking to him and that he had really thought things were going to go somewhere with her, as well as some weird questions asking if she had talked about him and if she thought the sex was good. Knowing I would be upset by the fact that he was asking my friend about another girl my friend decided to wait until the next day to tell me. I was obviously upset but ended up deciding to sit on it before bringing it up to him. That night I was out with a friend and I showed her a picture of him and she had said that she matched with him on a dating app a couple of days prior. I was hurt and confused, he was actively on other dating apps and drunkenly asked one of my friends about another girl. I realized that I hadn’t really asked or talked to him about commitment and I had just assumed instead of asking so I technically couldn’t be upset about the dating app situation. But I was extremely hurt about the fact that he was asking my friend about another girl so I ended up cutting him off. This was very short-lived and I ended up going back. After about 3 weeks of doing this, I finally realized and decided that it was doing more harm to myself to stay in this situation than leave. So I ended up ending things He was very understanding and apologized that he couldn’t give me what I wanted. (I ended things around mid-December).
Flash forward to February: I had been doing really good and started to move on from him and the situation. I had opted for no contact and had not spoken to him since I had ended things. Right after Valentine’s Day, he called me. I honestly thought we had butt dialed me or something simply because of the fact that we hadn’t spoken since I ended things, so I answered. We talked on the phone for about 30 minutes and he said that he didn’t like how things had ended and he wanted to take me out to dinner. I was very hesitant and made it clear that I didn’t want to get hurt and he said that he knows and wouldn’t have reached out for no reason. Before going out to dinner, he had asked to come and see me and asked if I would go to the grocery store with him. I agreed and he came to pick me up. He ended up coming inside my apartment before we went to the store and immediately initiated sex (which I did give in to but also played my part in initiating it). A couple of days later we went out to dinner. It was an EXTREMELY nice restaurant that was very very expensive. We ended up having a great time. About a week later everything is going really well so I decided to stay the night over at his house. The following two days after he barely talked to me, he responded maybe twice to me over the span of 2 days while being very active on social media. This enraged me. I send him a long message about how I had told him he only had one more chance and that I wasn’t going to be used for sex and that if he could’ve communicated that he was busy or talked to me, I would’ve been fine. He read it and then never responded to the message. I removed him from all of my social media and kept no contact.
Flash forward again to May 29th he texts me saying that he just wanted to reach out and hoped I was doing well. I didn’t plan on responding to him but I ended up giving in and responding. He asks me if he could take me out again, and I said “You pissed me off last time”. He responds that he thinks we should just go out and have fun with no expectations and I respond that it is a good way for me to get my feelings hurt. He asks what situation will allow him to take me out again and I say that I wasn’t sure if there even was one and said that I couldn’t keep my feelings out of the situation like he could which he says “Well I keep coming back to you so false” I start getting angry and say that the only reason he keeps coming back is that he and I have amazing sex and he hasn’t found anything better and he says “That yes the sex is amazing but you fucking know I like seeing you, don’t bullshit me, you know I like being with you.” I then say "What happened last time then?" And he says “You were mad at me cause I was not texting good and was distant. I wanna see you though it’s that simple” I ended up ignoring those texts and he texted me a couple more times by which I ignored for a day or two until I finally decided to answer. I told him that I told him last time I’d only give him one more chance. I didn’t ask him for much and that maybe if he had really wanted me in his life, he would’ve gotten it right when I made it clear I’d only give him one more chance. He ended up responding and said he wish he had more of an explanation as to why he wasn’t responding and that he wasn’t planning on going anywhere, that he was having fun seeing me again but that I wanted to stop. I told him he put me into a situation that gave me a choice between being disrespectful to myself and allowing my needs to be brushed off or respecting myself and prioritizing my needs. Although he may not have planned on going anywhere and I didn’t think that he wanted our relationship to progress further than what it was He then said I didn’t give him the chance to explain what he wanted and he didn’t see why we couldn’t talk things out and see if what we want aligns together and that he would love to see me and talk things through even if it means moving slower and talking through next steps. So I eventually agree to talk to him which is supposed to happen in two days.
I’m really hesitant and I’m scared I’m going to get hurt again. He is a good person and I really do see potential in our relationship, I just don’t know if he actually sees that too.
I really can’t tell what his intentions are, he said he knows that he’s going to have to work and show me how serious he is for me to even consider us trying things let alone even having sex. Maybe it is obvious from an outside perspective but do you think he really wants to commit to me or do you think he is playing games and saying what he can to hook up? I’m nervous that he’ll just end up saying what I want to hear and not actually follow through with it. I know that last time I didn’t make it very difficult for him to get in my pants and I also initiated it but do you think him waiting and showing me with his actions will prove that he doesn’t just want sex or do you think he’ll do just about anything to get what he gets what he wants? I’ve turned around so many F6-able matches by just muting all the toxic ass mfs on my team, readjusting my build to counter enemy team, and buying more wards.
Getting to full build is about farm. Winning the game is about game sense and skill. When you’re losing, all you need to do is take a deep breath and get to full build. At full build, the playing field is leveled again and you have another chance to turn it around. I’ve won games where I fed my brains out in lane (I’m bad) because I persist and keep my head down.
If the enemy team is buttfucking you in lane, literally go to another lane and help your teammate push forward. Once your lane opp rotates, rotate back to your lane and keep kiting until you have enough farm to turn things around.
Look at the map to see if your team is setting something up. You don’t need chat, pings, or VGS if you can read player movements on the map and ward appropriately. Are the enemy team’s damagers on a 60 second respawn timer while everyone on your team is moving toward FG? Probably a sign that you should head to FG. Enemy pop up on a ward at friendly speed buff while you and mid are in lane? Good chance to set up a free kill for your jg.
Often times the chat throws me off because smite is filled with bitter, lonely NEETs who get butthurt in chat and type slurs. It’s hella distracting.

Hi, I'm working on building a tape delay effects pedal from scratch, using cassette tape. However, when I look for tape heads online, all I can find (a large enough quantity of) are super cheap ones from AliExpress. I thought they would do the job, but lots of the reviews state that when purchasing a bunch of heads, none of them match impedances and other specs. Does anyone have any ideas for where I could try looking? In a perfect world, I need 1 erase head and 3 play/record heads per pedal. Hoping to build 10 of them.

Hello, I've been playing jungle for 3 months now and I've improved a lot since. Today I unlocked Ivern and played him several matches. I really enjoy playing him, but I don't know how to gank well with him and I don't any combos. How do I gank with Ivern, and what are some good combos? Thanks!

I never said anything inappropriate or anything to get me banned. The most logical explanation I can find is I was reported for being in the Army which many matches have told me they hated military men. If that's the case it whatever. I've always hated tinder anyway

I have been with my boyfriend for almost 3 months. I have no problem in paying for dates. I love spoiling my partner and I love showing affection and care.
I dont understand this and would love some perspective. When we got together, he paid for the first dates. I did not confront him about it because I thought that it what he preferred since he asked me out regularily. I tried to make up for it by buying coffee, bringing him food to work, buying some stuff that he would like such as books, matching bracelets, a hoodie he has wanted for a long time, cigarettes when I knew he would run out. I paid for the dates that I asked him out on.
Buuut, recently he started doing this "this time its on me, next time its on you" thing that I dont like because I hate keeping scores and if the tables were turned, I wouldnt care. I would just do it because its something he loves and we spend time together.
There was this one instance when he asked me out, had me plan everything and pay.what is the point of asking me out then??
I dont think I am entitled, I dont want him to pay for the dates always. But it would be nice for him to do that when he asks me out since I do it when I ask him out and I dont need a constant reminder. Its like he is afraid I am not gonna reciprocate in spite of the evidence to the contrary.
I tried talking to him and all he said was "thats only fair".

Darvin Ham's coaching showed improvement as Lakers went further along in the playoffs. Each round he made adjustments to opponents offense and found success. Against the Grizzlies he shortened the rotation to cut Beasley and Brown out and matched AD's minutes with JJJ. The Warriors he put Schroder in the starting lineup and cut Vando out to match their small ball. The Nuggets series is where he went completely wrong.
Anyone can tell Nuggets are the biggest team in the nba. They have 3 guys 6'8 6'10 6'11 in their starting lineup. Jokic is an expert at exploiting mismatches not only for himself, but for his teammates too. If there was any series that called for bigger players in the Lakers rotation, it's this one.
In Game 1, Ham started the same 3 guard lineup from the Warriors series, which most knew was a bad idea. Nuggets predictably got off to scorching start with Gordon, MPJ bullying their smaller matchups and Jokic destroying Lakers on the boards. By halftime Nuggets were up 20 and Jokic outrebounded the entire Lakers team 16:15! Ham goes back to that same lineup in the 3rd and Nuggets maintain their 20+ pt lead to the end of the quarter. Definition of insanity
Lakers made a comeback in the 4th and brought the deficit to 3, but they lost the game by one possession. The lineup Lakers had during the run was SchrodeReaves/Rui/Lebron/AD. Nuggets offense went cold in part due to an interesting defensive adjustment. Rui guarded Jokic, while AD helped off Gordon. Rui held his own during this stretch, bodying Jokic and AD causing turnovers. This adjustment gets memed a lot, but I think the takeaway was playing bigger led to Lakers closing the gap. And AD in help position is still a problem for opponents.
Game 1 was the perfect opportunity for Lakers to steal one. Ham gave the Lakers no chance from the beginning with the 3 guard starting lineup. It became clear to Lakers fans that Rui should be starting, not for his defense on Jokic but to match Denver's size. AD, Reaves and Rui shined. Dlo shot 36%, a team low -25 and was being targeted on defense by the Nuggets. A good coach pays attention to those things and changes lineups/adjusts minutes accordingly.
Ham returned to the Dlo/Reaves/Vando/Lebron/AD starting lineup in Game 2. It was still an improvement over game 1. Lakers got off a good start in 1st quarter and were able to take an early 10+ pt lead in the 2nd. Rui continued to be a matchup problem for the Nuggets, as he went 17 points on perfect 7/7 from the field in first half. Again, a good coach would recognize this and reward him with starting the second half. Riding the hot hand was one of Ham's biggest problems all season. Lakers still had a lead throughout the 3rd, mostly due to Vando's defense on Jamal Murray. He only had 14 points by the end of the 3rd.
The 4th quarter of Game 2 was where Ham made his second biggest mistake of the series. He took Vando out at the start and Murray proceeded to destroy the Lakers for 23 points in the quarter. What was telling was how easy it looked. Murray was simply shooting right over Schroder contests and backing him down for high percentage shots at the basket. Despite that explosion Lakers still lost by a couple of possessions. Draymond Green also commented on this in podcast after Game 2, Schroder cannot guard Murray. There's a 3 inch height and 45 pound weight difference between them lol. Other than Vando, Troy Brown should've been next in line to guard Murray. Ham wasn't willing to try the 6'6 SG/SF ideal for this type of matchup which was baffling. Dlo shot 38% and was again a team low -16.
Lakers fans were expecting big changes in Game 3, considering how big they collapsed in Game 2. Surely Dlo would be benched and Rui brought to the starting lineup. Ham started the same lineup from Game 2. Ya, insanity. Murray found rhythm in the 1st quarter, scoring on Dlo late contests and overall bad perimeter defense. Lakers entered an early 10+ pt deficit by the end of the 1st . Murray also continued to exploit the mismatch on Schroder to stay in rhythm, ending the game with 37 pts on 50% shooting. Ham conceded the series in game 3, when he refused to go away from Dlo. 0-3 deficits are impossible to comeback from.
While Lakers big man depth was thin, it was necessary to try them especially against a big like Jokic. If Spoelstra is giving Cody Zeller burn in game 1 of the nba Finals, Ham can try Thompson and Wenyan. People were giving AD flack for not being aggressive enough on offense. He was in Game 1, but after he was running on fumes due to all physicality invovled with guarding an elite big like Jokic. Nuggets also made it a point to involve AD in many actions as well. In 2020 Lakers had Dwight Howard to take on the hits from Jokic, so that AD didn't have to. It gave AD relief and allowed to him to be impactful on offense and defense. I think Ham should've tapped into both Thompson and Wenyan to preserve Lebron and AD and use all 6 fouls if he had to.
TLDR: Darvin Ham made every mistake a coach could against the Nuggets. In a series where every game was decided by a few points, those mistakes directly led to losses.
1- He started a 3 guard lineup when Denver had 3 guys above 6'8 in their frontcourt, giving away Game 1. Doubling down on that lineup after the half was insanity. Lakers still brought it within 3 points near the end. Can't be overstated how big it would've been for Lakers to take Game 1.
2- 6'1 Schroder assigned to guard 6'4 Murray, leading to Murray averaging 33 points on 50% shooting in the series. That defensive matchup directly resulted in Game 2 and Game 3 losses. Vando and Troy Brown are the only player who can guard Murray. Schroder wasn't needed much in this series. The starting lineup should've been Reaves/Troy/Rui/Lebron/AD.
3- The biggest liability on the Lakers (offensively and defensively) Dangelo Russell was given 25+ minutes for 3 games straight. He was -53 on and +25 off across those 3 games. Any rational coach would've DNP'd him by Game 3. Ham allowed him to play 20 min in Game 3 and he was very costly in every single minute. Murray also got off to a hot start targeting him for easy buckets.
4- He refused to play his best players together. Reaves/Rui/Lebron/AD were Lakers 4 best players all series and Ham waited until game 4 to start them together.
5- Not playing Tristan Thompson and Wenyan Gabriel more from the beginning of the series. They aren't the ideal centers for playoff ball. However they were both needed to give AD and to lesser extent Lebron a breather. AD's offense took a huge dip after Game 1 and that's not a coincidence. The physicality of Jokic (post-ups and battling for boards) left AD burned out by Game 4. Tristan Thompson was surprisingly effective in the minutes he played, but again Ham waited until Lakers were down 0-3 to play him.

We are currently staying at an Airbnb in a different country and the stay has been... subpar. The location is great but our experience does not match what others have posted. I am wondering if we leave an honest and professional review, what the chances are of the host retaliating and leaving a poor review in response. I'm asking because I have heard about this happening, but I have never had a bad experience using airbnb up until now.
Some of the issues we have had are as follows:

• The first day we came in, we noticed the sheets were covered in hair from a previous tennant. Asked for new sheets, the response was quick and apologetic and new sheets were delivered the next morning.
  
• Everything is fairly dirty. Dust on window sills/curtains, mold on the shower window, mildew on shower curtain. Pillow cases for the couch are stained. Rugs are full of sand (beach area so this makes sense but also still feels kind of gross).
  
• The shower drain does not drain quickly, so when showering you are standing in a pool of water. This has caused soap scum to build up during our 5 day stay.
  
• The bed frame is wooden and is very loose and loud. Neither myself or my partner can move in the night without the headboard making noise or the whole bed shaking. The matress is also pretty uncomfortable and we have both had difficulty getting a good night's sleep.
  
• There's no area to "unpack." No dressers, closets, hanging racks- only one small table that we have both placed our folded clothes on. This wouldn't really bother me for a shorter stay but we're here for 5 nights so a chance to unpack our clothes and hang them somewhere would have been nice.
  
• Lastly, the mosquitoes. It's definitely a warmer climate here and the nights are pretty humid and warm. None of the windows have screens, which I get is not always common in European countries, but the result has been either leaving the windows closed at night and not sleeping well due to the heat, or being eaten up by mosquitoes all night. This, I am more flexible with because bugs are gonna bug, but it's obvious to me that it's been an issue for past guests referenced by a graveyard of smooshed mosquitoes on the walls and curtains by the bed (another issue of cleanliness that we noticed right away). There's also mosquito spray left by the bed which shows me that the hosts probably know its an issue. Not being able to open the windows would be fine if there were fans provided, but there is only one small fan that is very old and doesn't work very well.
  

The hosts have been kind! I don't want to post a horrible review that damages their 4.8 something rating, but I also had way different expectations based on what reviews were posted. I guess I am looking for feedback on what others might do in this situation. I have avoided writing to the host directly about all these different issues because none of these points have made it ayo we have wanted/needed to leave, but it's been a pretty uncomfortable stay. I feel like an honest review is deserved but also have concerns that the host may respond poorly. Any advice from seasoned reviewers or hosts?

I was just watching some of NXT 2017-2018 and saw some of original Lacey Evans / Macey Estrella. I am highly disappointed with where she is now, she showed lots of promise in NXT.
At that time, i’d say her and Bianca had the most put together looks and characters for new people in NXT so early on in their careers.
I’ll never understand why WWE felt the need to alter Lacey so much, she pretty much came perfect. Had the character already, the look, the charisma that goes with the character, multitude of flawless mannerisms. All she needed was the skill. She had some pretty good matches with the likes of Kairi Sane and Candace LeRae. A little more time in NXT for the wrestling, with a call up around early to late 2020 was all she needed.
Even if she didn’t improve much as a wrestler, she would still have that character that could add to a lot of storylines and they stripped her of that. The Lady gimmick seemed real diverse and could’ve provided some good interactions, teams etc. at the very least.
She’s so boring now, and it’s sad. She worked well as a face in SmackDown 2019 also, and WWE somehow messed it up for her.

Nock has the potential to be an entertaining game, however, its appeal is marred by a corrosive player base and unrefined controls. It's disheartening to constantly receive discouragement from a seven-year-old on Quest 2 who’s spent thousands of hours playing. Moreover, the lack of online participants often means you're repeatedly matched with the same annoying player. The tracking functionality is non-existent on PSVR2, requiring you to unrealistically stretch the bowstring far beyond a comfortable point to achieve full power with your shot. Attempting to aim while the tracking system misbehaves is a challenge. This game has the potential for greatness, but the negative player culture combined with flawed controls make it an excellent stress inducer rather than a fun experience.

Hey all, A group of us are going to the football in the Pairc today followed by a gig in the Marquee this evening. We are driving up and back down after the gig.
Where could we park near the venues that wouldn't run the risk of clamping by obstructing residents or the like.
I know there's limited parking available at The Marquee but I presume that won't be open until a "gates open" time so no good for the match.

Every family member on my dads side has bad anxiety. My dad and mom both tell me that I also have this, and ive also been to therapry for it. The issue is, nobody ever dignosed me with anxiety. The sympdoms match up.
Ive been talking to people about issues and making posts for help, a lot of the time, they always say "you seem like you have anxiety." or "do you have OCD?" or anything along those lines. I dont know how to respond to those people, as I do think I have it, but mever officaly dignosed.

Honestly , for this Survivor Series , give me a brand Warfare , i don't want Wargames. I want a war between both brands , led by former partners and rivals: Reigns & Rollins.
This year, we had the draft much earlier than usual, and lots of new faces. I think the war between brands could be more beneficial for both reasons
It showcases the men, women and teams in the Survivor Series elimination matches. And when the champions, it could be good especially since we have the possibility of having Reigns V Rollins in the main event.
Cody could emerge victorious from the match as the sole survivor and get even more built for his match at Mania.
A woman might have a star-making moment in the match to build herself up, maybe Iyo or Raquel. Depending on the booking.
But I find that the Warfare brand could be much more beneficial than Wargames
