2023.05.31 17:26 crimewriter40 Exile Island Shit Show

Panama/Exile Island is probably in my top 5 seasons, and I love it for the same reason I loved Gabon- it was like a Survivor fever dream.
By far the best part of the season was Casaya, and what a troupe of misfits they were; even better, they were misfits who dominated the season, despite much bigger brains (in Dan Fuego) and brawn and pure athleticism (in Terry) on La Mina. Mario makes the best case for why Casaya was such an enjoyable shit show in his Funny 115- http://funny115.com/v2/12.htm
But one thing I caught on the re-watch that wasn't clear to me initially, was how the editors juxtaposed the dysfunction and drama of Casaya with the polar opposite existence of La Mina, who played "honorably", genuinely liked and respected each other, and were completely up front with the votes so no one would be blindsided at Tribal. The one time Aras made the mistake of trying to be upfront before a vote, the whole thing blew up in his face.
So you have two tribes who literally exist on opposite ends of the spectrum; dysfunction and drama end up winning in the end except that the actual winner of that group, Aras, was the most "honorable" member of it. Lots of thematic interplay this season that makes re-watching it highly entertaining.
Does anyone else love this season and/or pick up on the thematic dichotomy on a re-watch?

2023.05.31 17:25 AlphaAngle Nest Products in Two Homes

I have nest products at my home that work well including a doorbell and multiple indoooutdoor cams, WiFi, and thermostats.
I am purchasing a condo that I will be staying in part time and renting out part time. I would like to put nest products in the condo so I can open up my nest app (or google home app) and see/control everything.
I was planning on putting a nest thermostat, doorbell, and probably a nest hub in the condo because it is a second floor unit so you can see who is ringing the doorbell if you are upstairs. My main concern is that I don’t want someone that is renting my condo so be able to see any of my cameras/control anything in my personal house.
Any advice on how to set that up correctly? Do I make a new account for the condo and share that with my primary account so when I log in to the app, I can see everything? Is there a way to limit what the renter can do/see on the hub? I have never used the hub before, so I don’t really know all of its capabilities.
Thanks in advance!

2023.05.31 17:25 jaketoday How do you manage comorbidities? Autism/ADHD/Bipolar with psychotic features

How do you manage comorbidities? Autism/ADHD/Bipolar with psychotic features
I was not diagnosed with Autism until later in life. Before that I was diagnosed with ADHD, Depression and a personality disorder. I have really struggled with my physical and mental health, for the last decade. I have landed in hospital psychiatric emergency nine times, two of those times was last year. I have been stable for about a year now. I have gained my weight back, which is good I got really thin when I was manic. Last year was really tough. During one admission I was injured by hospital security because I could not stop yelling at people. I ended up getting a concussion and received a CAT scan for a blow I took to the head. I have been injured by police before as well while getting arrested under the Mental Health Act of Canada. I am currently living in supportive housing with fifty other people who were previously homeless or at risk of homelessness. I was at risk of homelessness because I could not get housing because for whatever reason nobody would rent to me. I lived in a motel for four months after I lost my home and got housing a week after I lost my previous housing completely. Supportive housing is ok but their is a lot of hard drug use here and some pretty mentally ill people. I have been threatened with violence a couple of times and I have had people take a swing at me as well. One guy threatened to chop my head and got kicked out of the building because staff witnessed the threat and thought it was credible and phoned police. It can be quite stressful here. I digress. I am constantly struggle with bipolar disorder. I can manage ADHD with medication but I have a lot of trouble with various side effects and have a lot of medication changes to stabilize me. I find that my communication difficulties I have has really thwarted me when I need care. My meltdowns can be catastrophic and have ruined relationships for me including my last marriage. I think I was born with all the tools for a happy and productive life but those tools are locked in a box and I cannot access them. I feel like everyday is work managing my mood and struggling to articulate my needs to caregivers. If I get over stimulated I can get pretty manic and I find myself spending a lot of time in my room or in the woods near to my house or on a quiet beach near me where I seem to be the only one that goes to it. I moved to the town I live in specifically to escape the stimulation of living in a city. I have caused disruptions where I live and if I do not behave properly they will kick me out. I have two written warnings for disruptive behaviour (what ever that is) and I will not get another one, they will just kick me out. This is the thing the warnings were not specific and staff will not discuss them with so I am at odds trying to figure out how I am supposed to act now. I am Autistic, I am Bipolar and I have ADHD and I have a disordered personality but that does not detract from the fact the I think I am deserving of a better more stable life. People I live with are scared of me. I asked staff why when someone was impaired with alcohol or drugs or both and being aggressive, staff will talk calmly with them and lead them to their rooms with kind words and gentleness, staff will check on them if they are really impaired or sit with them so they stay safe. If I act as they do the police are called and I am usually put in a cell for a couple of hours for the police to figure if I am not on drugs or until my family figures out where I am and I am taken to hospital in cuffs. So I asked this staff member why they phone the cops when I am manic but not aggressive or threatening but they don't phone the cops when the impaired residents act the same way as I do while manic. She say, "we phone the police, because drug and alcohol users can sleep it off. You can't sleep it off." That is my life, things would be so much better if only I could sleep away my problems. I am blessed with my Autistic/Bipolar brain. When mania is manageable it is like nothing else. It makes me confident and fuels my creativity. I would not want to be neurotypical at all but I wish I could navigate the world with the apparent ease that they do. I believe my life would have really benefitted if I had received the autism diagnosis when I was younger. I could have really used educational supports and more support from my family. I think I would also benefit from employment where I can get the accommodations I need to be successful in a job or an educational environment. This is a long post, I apologize for my wordiness and for my meandering and not really making a point. Oh well. I will include a photo.

2023.05.31 17:24 Kk77789 I don’t know if he cheated.

We’ve been together for 8 years. We do everything together. He has an injury, and I was only working short part time hours until 2 weeks ago.
8 years of dating, 7 years of being together basically 20/7, 80% of days. 7 years of constant calls and texts when we’d stopped somewhere or have a spare 2 minutes, unless one of us was really busy. 7 years of sleeping next to each other everyday. Whether all of that matters or not I don’t know.
I was moody 2 days ago. About to get my period, didn’t want to put up with crap. He said 10 times already that he ‘was gonna go see a friend, and wait there the few hours until he gave him the money he owed’. I knew it was extremely weird. Were not good financially but we weren’t desperate over $100. I kept letting it go. Ignored it. I eventually got annoyed again, gave up and didn’t argue back why he had to go there. Stayed home to cook dinner, even though he’s the chef.
Cooked. Felt off the whole time. I sat myself down and said I’ll eat before I find out a way to work out what’s going on. Find my iPhone. I didn’t finish eating. I called my sibling and they said that it’s extremely accurate, he can see when a friends home 15km away, while he’s home getting ready to go out.
He wasn’t where he said he was. I called. I texted. Took a while for a reply and constant denying. Then he admitted he was on dating sites and ‘didn’t meet anyone’. Was just gonna sell an item.
I can’t sleep. I can’t eat. I’m nauseous the whole time. I asked my family about find my. So I can’t turn to anyone. I can’t force him to admit anything else. I just don’t know. I’m broken and I can’t even admit that, to anyone. We’ve always been open and honest about the gender he was doing, we’ve done it before, where I basically let him go off to do it, but didn’t physically participate. But I knew and was around.
I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. Do I keep trying to track his phone to see if he does anything else weird? Do I let it go and just trust what he says? This was all 3 days ago.
Tl;dr : I don’t know what he did. I can’t get over it.

Any ideas? Clearly he just can’t get through the 3rd time around what are we thinking? What if we had like an opener to go an inning or two then nestor can go longer and not gas the pen as much.

2023.05.31 17:24 Cyb3rLogic Advice

Hi I'm a 17 year old girl, and I'm in a relationship with a guy who is masculine and sigma male type of guy. I just wanted advice I have the loyalty no talking to men thing down because I'm an introvert and like to keep to myself. I just wanted to ask guys those who look up to andrew tate or feminine women what do I do to stop arguments. It's because I try hard not to stress him out and we got to know eachother for 9 months before calling it offical. As soon as we started dating he ruined it by talking about bringing someone else into the picture and all he does is talk about other women he wants to sleep with. It gets to me and I'm not trying to be emotional about it but it just annoys me because I've been here with him through tough times just to hear " I wanta lightskin girl or a latina." And we got into so many arguments we are on a break now but still in a relationship. But keep in mind I let him do whatever he want I let him have all the hoes he wants but why must I share my spot with someone else after he told me that's what he wanted to do in the first place?

2023.05.31 17:23 BringWater41 What might make someone feel very attached to their own back/body hair?

I've (30f) started sleeping with one of my long-time friends (25m). I held out for quite a while--even though I find him very attractive and there's been a lot of sexual tension-- because he is very hairy. Like, VERY VERY hairy. I'm talking not just chest, but back, arms, shoulders, bum... And it grosses me out :(
As a woman I've been painstakingly removing every strand of hair from my eyebrows down all my adult life. It's time consuming, expensive, and sometimes painful, but I do it because I don't feel comfortable leaving the house fuzzy. I've always been attracted to guys that have little to no body hair because it's just my preference. I think a nice smooth chest is super sexy.
I've brought it up, gently, with my friend (now fwb I guess) several times. I've told him the sex is great but I want to touch and explore his body as much as he does mine. I've made it clear that I'm having a really tough time moving past his body hair and that I'm disappointed that it's not something he's considered doing anything about.
I take full responsibility for my preferences but I think I'm allowed to have them, right ?
Yet he says his body hair is "something he likes about himself" and it's "part of his identity". I have a feeling this is because one time many years ago, his buddy's girlfriend caught him with his shirt off and blurted out, "Wow you're so hairy!" and then quickly followed up with "That's very masculine" ...and he took it to heart. (If I could find that girl, I would ask her if she was genuinely admiring it or if she was just trying to backpedal so as not to offend him. I strongly suspect it was the latter. Either way, I would love to give her a good kick in the shin for that haha 🙄)
Whatever the reason, it's taking away from what is otherwise a really great relationship. He says he finds me very sexy and he's always wanted me. As friends we've already been saying "I love you" to each other for a while. I don't doubt he has very strong feelings for me. And clearly I feel the same about him, because I've started going for it even though I can't bring myself to touch him much when we're rolling around.
A kind of perplexing part of it for me is also the fact that he DOES shave his pubic area. It's like this weird clean hairless oasis in the middle of his otherwise Chewbacca-esque body lol. I asked him what the logic was there and he just shrugged and was like, "That's how I like it."
He's such a laidback, easy going guy. He's sweet and communicative and very attractive with clothes on lol. I adore him and I want to keep exploring this new aspect of our relationship but I don't know how much more him-doing-all-the-touching sex I'll enjoy. I also don't know if it's fair to either of us for me to even be sleeping with him after stating my opinion so clearly. Actions speak louder than words, right? I'm worried how this will end if I ask him to transition back to friends "without benefits". I feel like we've crossed a very intimate line and it would be monumentally difficult to go back to the way things were.
I would never give him an ultimatum or shame him for his own preferences; it's his body and obviously he should do whatever makes him comfortable! But like I said, it's really getting to me that he just keeps shrugging it off and flat out refusing to consider even talking about it, especially when he talks all the time about how smooth and soft my skin is and how much he loves touching me. It's a lot of work to stay smooth and soft and touchable! And I honestly hate doing it, but it's a part of my routine that I've accepted because I like to be touched.
Should I stop sleeping with him before this gets any more complicated? Is there anything I can try to say to him to get him to reconsider? Should I risk pushing the issue and try to ask him more about his choices? I'm sure it's selfish of me, but am I really that bad of a person for feeling sad because his refusal to do anything about it makes me feel kind of like, I'm not worth making changes for?
If anyone here has any insight, or even an anecdote about what made you decide to start "manscaping" I'd love to hear it. But if you think I'm just a superficial jerk, maybe try going easy on me because trust me I'm already feeling pretty bad about all of this.
Tldr - my new fwb says he loves me and really enjoys the sex we've been having but he won't address the issue of his excessive body hair even though I've made it clear that I'm having a very hard time looking past it

2023.05.31 17:23 typsy I built a CLI for prompt engineering

Hello! I work on an LLM product deployed to millions of users. I've learned a lot of best practices for systematically improving LLM prompts.
So, I built promptfoo: https://github.com/typpo/promptfoo, a tool for test-driven prompt engineering.
Key features:
TLDR: automatically test & compare LLM output
Here's an example config that does things like compare 2 LLM models, check that they are correctly outputting JSON, and check that they're following rules & expectations of the prompt.
prompts: [prompts.txt] # contains multiple prompts with {{user_input}} placeholder providers: [openai:gpt-3.5-turbo, openai:gpt-4] # compare gpt-3.5 and gpt-4 outputs tests: - vars: user_input: Hello, how are you? assert: # Ensure that reply is json-formatted - type: contains-json # Ensure that reply contains appropriate response - type: similarity value: I'm fine, thanks - vars: user_input: Tell me about yourself assert: # Ensure that reply doesn't mention being an AI - type: llm-rubric value: Doesn't mention being an AI
Let me know what you think! Would love to hear your feedback and suggestions. Good luck out there to everyone tuning prompts.

2023.05.31 17:23 Tan_Bands Can someone explain the $7500 Tax Credit to me like I'm a teenager?

I'm not very well-versed in taxes (only did my taxes for the 1st time this year and it was a mess).
Does the $7500 Tax credit apply only if I owe $7500 by the end of the year? If so, what if I owe less than $7500? For example, say I only owe the IRS $1000. Would I get back $6500 due to the Tax credit?
or
Does the $7500 Tax Credit apply no matter what? For example, if the IRS doesn't owe me any money and I don't owe the IRS any money, would I still get the $7500 when doing my taxes in 2024?

2023.05.31 17:22 salvaria You don't actually hate fondant

So predictable...
Buddy, do you even know what fondant tastes like? Huh? You hate because other people hate it. You're piling on! You're on the bandwagon!
You don't actually hate fondant. You actually don't have an opinion on fondant. You live a life where fondant is never a problem.
So let's drop it, alright? I mean, c'mon. What are we doing here? What the hell are we even doing here?
Sometimes someone does something just because it's an artsy little thing to do. Even this video is like, "Why am I watching this? Why am I reading the same comments I always see when this exact thing I've seen a hundred times happens?"
I say we quit. Me and you buddy. Let's just quit. I'm never watching another cake video again. That's it. I'm out.
And you? Well, I suppose you never need to express your hate of fondant because you don't actually care, and know one else does either.
FondantHate, yep, you're sure to see that comment come up, but go over to that subreddit. What's it for? Who are these people? What's the point?
They don't actually care about fondant and they don't ever deal with situations where fondant comes up. It's all fake. It's all hate for the sake of hate because people are trying to fit in with each other, right? Fit into what? Nothing is real. No one is real. I'm hardly even real these days.
What have you become? What have we become? What have I been?
Look at this. Looks at my hands, at my face. Does this seem real to you? Look at your hands. Watch your hands type. That doesn't make any sense, does it?
Oh, it's all falling apart. The whole illusion is starting to crumble. Jeez, just when you thought your reality was starting to make sense, right, buddy? Man, what's the first thing you're going to do when you snap out of it? What is the first thing you're going to do when you step back from reading this and realize that I'm not even real, that nothing on this website is real, that this website isn't even real.
What have you been doing again?
Where are you again?
Surely, you can remember that much, right? You can tell me where you are and how you got there, right?
I'm fading. I know I'm not real. At least I know I'm not real. I'm glad I'm not real.

2023.05.31 17:22 DarlingChaosPixie Month 8 of spiritual awakening. Any advice on how to deal with the loneliness I’m feeling today?

I went into an all day state of sleep paralysis on my 28th birthday and after I woke up the next day I felt almost as if my 3rd eye had been pried open by the universe. Nothing feels the same. I don’t think or conceptualize the same. I feel like what some may call the matrix is working against me. I’m being blessed by the universe but this reality is trying to sabotage me. I met my true twin flame after being stuck in a false twin flame connection for nearly 8 years right after I started to let go and months after I found contentment with and love for myself. My twin lives in a different country and neither of us can currently go to the other. We try to communicate from afar and we’re running into every problem, such as his phone just no longer working for no logical reason. He called me off a friend’s phone to let me know. But it feels like if it’s not one thing it’s another. I know it’s not his fault, just as my being stuck physically is not my fault. But it’s hard because we’re waking up to our power and this reality doesn’t seem to like that. We’ve both been met with a lot criticism our whole lives just for existing and now when we finally find each other and are starting to heal together we get every wrench thrown between us possible, the phone is just the newest one. I’ve lost familial and friendship relationships. I have my soul family, but I feel like such an outsider to the majority of the world and now I can’t even talk to my boyfriend and twin flame. It’s overwhelming. Does anyone deep in a spiritual awakening have any advice to help me get through this?

Starting 1st Month 114 AD/724 Years After the Unification

Sea Dragon Point

Map of Dragon's Nest (Settlement) and Sea Dragon Point (Castle)
Previous Woods Open RP Thread
Dragon's Nest is a small settlement that surrounds the Sea Dragon Keep. It is barely more than a fishing village, named after the legend of Sea Dragons that were to once inhabit local waters, and their eggs that are supposedly buried under the settlement.
Sea Dragon Keep is the ancestral home of House Woods, bearing the same name as the peninsula which Woods rule over. It is sat atop a small hill, overlooking the settlement, as well as the nearby waters and part of the Western Wolfswood.
The castle is small, but well defended, as is necessary with its location on the Stony Shore. The Woods family inhabits the inner keep, and a yard separates the inner keep from the Sea Hall, where occasional feasts are held.
The Godswood creates a significant part of the castle. Unlike most Godswoods found throughout the Continent that usually have a single weirwood, Sea Dragon Point has near two dozen of these red-leaved sentinels, old and young, big and small, each with a different face carved into the pale trunk, watching the world with scarlet eyes. The Gods are watching, as House Woods motto brings to mind.

Woods PCs

Osric Woods (63)

Sea Dragon Point
The aging and bitter Lord of Sea Dragon Point prefers to live in solitude, spending more and more time in the Wolfswood, and leaving matters of ruling to his son and heir.

Aedan Woods (39)

Sea Dragon Point
Heir to Sea Dragon Point was raised in isolationism, for many have wronged his father, though he wishes to make his own path in the world. He spent some time in the Wilderness Beyond the Wall, in the spirit of the Woods coming-of-age tradition, and in an attempt to understand more about the strange dreams he had been having, and an understand of animals he feels. Married to Sirona Mormont, the not-so-young man hopes that he will do a better job as a family man than his father did, though it is not a particularly high bar.

Jeor Woods (12)

Sea Dragon Point
The heir's heir is a young boy, taking interest in nature and animals by the example of both his parents.

Wyllis Woods (9)

Sea Dragon Point
Aedan and Sirona's second son. Small boy.

Serena Woods (4)

Aedan and Sirona's only daughter, named after the Queen of the North. Little girl.

Sarra Stark née Woods (56)

Winterfell
Beautiful and ambitious in her youth, Sarra is wholly unlike the rest of her family. She loves her husband and their children unconditionally, though she somewhat struggles with a quiet life she is now be destined to lead. Still, she focuses firmly on ensuring that her children will get what they are rightfully entitled to.

Maege Umber née Woods (48)

Last Hearth
Willful and energetic, Maege is rather unlike her older sister (and insists loudly on that). She enjoys fighting, hunting and riding, and she is happily married to Rodrik Umber. Happy in her role in life as a wife and a mother, the pair is raising two little boys and a baby girl.

Ellard Woods (15)

Winterfell
Ellard was growing up in Sea Dragon Point as an orphan after his mother, lady Wylla, died giving birth to a stillborn girl, and his father, Jonnel Woods, subsequently disappeared into the Wolfswood and had not been seen in years. He had been sent to Winterfell to become a ward to Mors Umber, one of the most respect warriors in the whole Kingdom.

Nora Woods (43)

Winterfell
Bright and bookish, Nora is a very quiet woman, somewhat unsettling in her solemn appearance and intense gaze of her deep green eyes. The only child of Cailan Woods to still remember him, she had not forgotten, nor forgiven those who had taken her father from her. She is a frail, petite figure, looking younger than her age. She has complexion so pale she gets sunburnt even in Winter, and doesn't leave the castle walls often. As the Keeper of Secrets of the North, she takes her position in Winterfell very seriously.

Arryk Woods (41)

Winterfell
Arryk has grown up in Winterfell following the execution of his father, though he doesn't share his family's resentment towards the Starks. He is a relatively capable, strong fighter, though he has a gentle side to him - he has a great love for various tales, and often catches himself daydreaming of heroic acts or lands far away. He is a part of Rodrick Stark's Wolfpack, hoping to prove himself as an individual.

Kyra Slate née Woods (38)

Blackpool/Winterfell
Kyra had spent her whole life in Sea Dragon Point, once close friends with her cousin Aedan. But as people grow up, they grew apart. Wed to the heir of Blackpool, the pair recently welcomed their first child - a daughter.

2023.05.31 17:21 CantThinkStrayt I have hope

Last Thursday, I did a ketamine therapy booster treatment that I talked about getting on my last post. The results are phenomenal and I wish everyone struggling with depression, anxiety and PTSD (PISD for me) had access to it. I swear it's like a pressure valve release.

My mind went from the darkest, most depressive pits, to being hopeful and basically "fine". It allows my brain and heart the space to live and breathe and not just exist, obsessing over his cheating.

I know I was off my rocker on my last post. I was hurt and was seeking help/validation for my pain. I'm very well aware that my healing shouldn't be tied to what my husband does or does not do, including his empathy (or lack there of).

I do the very best to apply what I've learned in IC and self-validate. I've gotten damn good at it, too. My last post's title was misleading in that I know his asshole shame gets in the way of my healing- but I also know that healing is on me. I fully get that healing is my responsibility while at the same time thinking it sucks too, as he's the one that caused the pain.

I suppose where it gets extremely confusing for me is our MC telling me/us to lean in and talk to my WH, and coregulate. She wants me to share with him when I'm struggling (and vice versa).

So where does one draw the line? That's rhetorical. I've become far more independent and process much of the daily shit I have going on in my brain as a result of the cheating, on my own. I'm proud of myself for it. However, I do feel myself trying to shut down more. I know it's not helpful for R, but it seems to be a coping mechanism my brain turns to when it's overwhelmed.

I'm not on anti-depressants or traditional anti-anxieties. I can't stand the way Xanax makes me feel. I do have a medical card prescribed for anxiety. I take THC gummies on weekends and they absolutely help with anxiety (and depression, really). Hell, they kill anxiety for me for probably 36 hours or more. Anyway, I'm fighting getting on an antidepressant with everything in me. I can't bring myself to having to take medication because of something that was done to me. Yes, I know that is not the best way to look at it, but it is what it is. I'm pro-medicine and have begged many family members to get on them, so it isn't that I'm against it. I'm grateful ketamine works as well as it does for me, and that I've been able to head off being on an SSRI because of the ketamine treatments (though many use it to augment their medications).

Last Thursday evening, several hours after my treatment, my husband and I were cuddling in bed. He seemed distant, so I asked if he was okay. He told me he'd been feeling very sad lately about what he'd done, and how badly he'd screwed up our lives. He began crying. For those of you that know me or my story, you know it's huge for me to see him like this, because he hardly every shows this side of him. I told him to let the tears flow, and held on tightly to him.

It was such a bittersweet moment. I love that he finally opened up to me and allowed me to see his pain. To see him. I appreciate knowing and seeing the level of remorse he feels and has. It's what I've wanted and begged to see. However, of course I hate seeing him in pain. He's a good man and I don't want him to hurt.

Ultimately, I hope he was able to see that I'm here for him, like I always have been. I'm his person, and he is mine.

I will continue intensive work on myself. I know I need it- and a lot of it. I also know that I need to apply what I've learned. Thanks to the ketamine, it makes it a lot easier to do as I'm currently not sick of it all/over it. I'm back to being hopeful...

I'm also a realist. I hope more than anything that my husband and I make it in the long run. He is my everything. At the same time, I'm working on getting stronger and fully embracing feeling perfectly fine alone. That's the space I want to thrive in. It seems like the healthiest space for me to live and create my life. It's been a year and a half, and while things can still be incredibly painful and difficult, things are definitely looking up.

Today is a good day. I believe in myself and my marriage. I believe I will be just fine no matter what happens. I have hope. I don't know how long it will last, but I sure as hell hope it sticks around for a while, it feels so good.

2023.05.31 17:21 ki7a Dataset prep/cleaning

I’m seeing pretty decent results training LoRA’s over the documentation and user manuals of a complicated software system. I manually crafted and cleaned this dataset by hand (a real pita) then trained via raw text option in webui.
Now I’d like to do the same for the source code just to see what the LLM learns. I suppose it’s time for me to write a dataset prep script. However, before I try hack my own together, does anyone know of an open-source repo/library that already does this?
Seems like this sort of thing probably already exists. I’d like to point at a git repo or directory, specify file type filters, clean special chars/formatting, de-dup, etc…
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

2023.05.31 17:21 shayes39 Eating to your number?

I’m hoping to get some clarification. I was dx a month ago (T2) and have learned ALOT. I saw my endo for the first time yesterday and he gave me my range. He’d like me to be between 80-110 for FBS and no more than 140-160 two hours after eating. If my BS is 120 or so before i eat, is this what eating to your number means? I need to make a food choice that I know is gonna keep me below that 160 cap? Or until my numbers are just generally lower does it not matter? Thank you in advance.

2023.05.31 17:20 FutureAceofKarasuno What's your personal World Trigger 'hot take'?

(Replies may contain spoilers but hopefully everyone does their due diligence in blocking that with > ! Spoiler Here ! < but without the spaces between the >'s, !'s and text)...
After reading a recent post from u/chihayadayo , I was reminded of how diverse our WT opinions are (theories, favorite arcs, fav characters, least fav characters, best squads etc.) because we all clearly love this shounen.
So, for those who have them, what is your World Trigger 'hot take(s)' or unpopular opinion(s) and why? It can be related to anything about the show or manga. Examples can include talking about a character that is generally hated, but you secretly like (or vice versa); an unpopular theory you have about the show etc.
Anything WT related is allowed, but pretty please try to tag any manga spoilers for anime-only ppl. Also, pls don't downvote unpopular opinions just bc you don't like them--upvote the ones you agree with and explain your hot takes. I am super curious--who knows, maybe we will find some closeted Taichi lovers out there ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My unpopular opinion:
After hating him for a long time, I have started to kinda like Ninomiya as a character--I can't help but think that he's honestly just lacking in interpersonal skills. Initially, he was hard to like because he's blunt to a fault and seems stuck up, but his rude remarks and jerk behavior don't feel purposefully malicious or spiteful. IMO, he is probably just either bad at or uncomfortable engaging in the normal behaviors that most people do for 'social grease,' which is something I think we can all probably relate to in some small way (if not in the past, we most likely will in the future).
Some of his key good points: I appreciate that he holds himself to a high standard, and it seems like he is a good leader for his own personal squad. He definitely serves as a strong rival for Osamu in the anime so far, and without Ninomiya's squad to push them, I don't know whether Tamakoma 2 would have grown so much in such a short time period.
Overall, I do agree that he is jerk and unpleasant to interact with, but I think he is pretty 'what you see is what you get,' and lately I've been feeling kinda partial towards the honest a**hole type.
