2013 chevy cruze valve cover recall
Pls Help Me Understand the Valve Guide Seal Failures.
2023.06.06 22:34 tumbleweed_lingling Pls Help Me Understand the Valve Guide Seal Failures.
I have a 2013 Cooper S, N18 engine, bought new, and quite well cared for. Driven hard after allowing for a nice warmup with easy driving. Oil changes as indicated by the CBS thing, which is around every 6 or 7 k miles.
Anway, by 90,000 miles or so this car was drinking oil like I drink single-malt. The service manager kept saying "oh it's normal." I even had a co-worker who tailed me to work in one occasion tell me "dude, your car's smoking." o.O I couldn't see it from the driver's seat. I had suspicions, tho, based on the voracious drinking. It drank more than any of my rotaries!
By 100,000, coming out of a highway into a busy road, I had a cylinder quit on me. Limped it to my job, parked it, when I restarted it, it ran on all 4 again. Drove to dealer through back roads at low RPMs.
The car needed new valve guide seals. Extended warranty covered it. I was out of my car for a month and a half.
What I need to understand is: What happened? I never got a reasonable explanation from my SM. He mumbled something about "gas and oil mixing, killing the rubber". I don't buy that for a second.
Was it carbon fouling? Will "walnut blasting" postpone or eliminate this mode of failure?
If it wasn't carbon fouling, then what?
This is the event that made me swear off BMW and Mini forever. And now BMW has made the 135 into a front-drive car.. so that's a double betrayal.
A car needing cylinder head work at 100,000 is laughably bad. This isn't 1950.

2023.06.06 10:58 Immolatedaccount why did they hire the people behind firewatch?
so i decided to explore the ep3 rabbithole recently. this post may be redundant as i imagine the final hours of hla cover it well and has the actual answer. i think theres parallels between firewatch and ep3.
heres a couple interesting stuff ill pull from this article
https://half-life.fandom.com/wiki/Development_of_the_next_Half-Life_game "2010
In a March interview, Newell hints that Valve intends to return the Half-Life franchise to its psychological horror roots by exploiting the fans' deepest fears, which he sums up as "the death of their children" and "the fading of their own abilities".[29]
this may seem nonsensical to show but it may make sense but when u consider firewatch is about death of a child and realizing ur true self. this is maybe why they were interested in them. campo santo knew how to do melancholy. its also why they hired rob yescombe as the writer for hl:a, they wanted somebody to write something melancholic. hl:a is still a bit dark but they decided to remake it as the story was too dark / not satisfying. not their actual vision either.
"2017
In early January, Game Informer releases an interview with an anonymous source within Valve. The source provided the following:[102]
Over the years, there are prototypes of the next Half-Life game, ranging from an RTS game to a live-action choice-driven experience."
HL3 was a 2013 project that had a choice-driven experience probably took from EP3. i know nothing about firewatch but i presume its choice-driven. the choice-driven experience probably comes from how EP2 presents the choices about the Borealis and Epistle 3's uncertainty.
Its also interesting to note that
Adrian Finol has a special thanks on Firewatch. They been in kahoots for some time.

2023.06.06 01:51 JeliPuff The Puzzling Disappearance of Karen Louise Wilson
This case has already been covered, but I felt the write-up was a bit bareboned and could’ve gone further in depth. That write-up was around 500 words, my one has over 1800 words. I have linked their original reddit post, and I recommend you check it out, as they covered this case first.
https://www.reddit.com/UnresolvedMysteries/comments/dipz9h/karen_louise_wilson_missing_from_albany_ny_since/ Karen Louise Wilson was born on February 10th, 1963, to Taylor and Jennie Wilson. She was a popular student in high school and a cheer leader. She was then a full-time senior political science major at the State University of New York and an unpaid, full-time intern for state Assemblyman Samuel Coleman. She aspired to have a career in the foreign service.
On Wednesday the 27th of March 1985, the 22 year old vanished without a trace.
THE TIMELINE: On the 27th, Karen went to the Colonie Center and bought a red t-shirt and a blue t-shirt to take with her on an upcoming spring break trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She may have also gotten a tan at the Tanning Hut; she had booked an appointment that day but no one at the tanning salon could remember seeing her.
She was last seen in the 1600 block of Central Avenue in Colonie, New York at approximately 7:20 pm. She also called her roommate around this time, and said she was on her way home for dinner.
It was initially believed that Karen got on a bus near the Butcher Block restaurant on Central Avenue and took it to Fuller Avenue, but it was later determined that she couldn’t have gotten on the bus and probably walked instead. 3 credible witnesses would later tell authorities that they had seen her on Fuller Avenue shortly afterwards.
THE LAST 3 SIGHTINGS: SIGHTING 1: The first witness told authorities that she saw Karen traveling southbound on Fuller Rd after she turned from Central Ave at 8:15pm.
She stated that as she approached a gas station on her left (believed to be the
Workingman’s Friend Gas Station), she passed a very slow-moving vehicle, also traveling southbound. She could not recall any specifics of the vehicle's description, except that the driver was a white male in his forties with an intent look on his face. The male had a beard, brown hair with a reddish tint, and a long nose and face.
The witness then saw a female believed to be Karen, walking near a guide rail along the west side of Fuller Road near Sysco Food. By the time the witness reached Fuller Rd at Railroad Ave, she had already driven past the female.
SIGHTING 2: The second witness saw someone they believed to be Karen on the west side of Fuller Road. This was between 8:10pm - 8:15pm.
She stated that the female was walking south of the entrance of Six Mile Waterworks (also known as Rensselaer Lake) near the construction road leading west off Fuller Road. This area is located just north of the I-90 underpass. The female was walking on the grassy portion of the sidewalk, with her head down.
A smaller person of unknown sex was walking along the female’s right side "almost shoulder to shoulder" seemingly urging her up an embankment or incline into the Six Mile area. The smaller person was described as between 5'5 - 5'8 (165-172cm), and between 120-140lbs (54-64kg). When the female turned her head to the left, the witness thought she appeared nervous.
The witness also described a white male following 50 to 100 feet behind the two subjects. He was walking at a steady pace, not seeming to be gaining on the two. He was described as about 5'11 (180cm) with a slim build, in his early 20's, wearing dark pants and a waist length jacket which may have been beige. He had light colored hair (gold to red), and a beard or some other type of facial hair. The couple then returned to the sidewalk and began walking in a normal manner southbound on Fuller Road.
After the witness stopped at the red light at the I-90 ramp, and then continued southbound, she saw the couple past the dirt construction road on the right, just out from the I90 underpass.
She also stated that she saw a stopped or disabled small unoccupied black vehicle at Fuller Rd at Washington Ave Ext. The vehicle had a New York plate bearing partial plate 239 with unknown letters. The car was sedan style and believed to be about five years old. The driver's window was down about 6" and the passenger window was down about 2". She thought this was odd because it looked like it was about to rain. Also noted on the driver's side window was a hole about ¼" in diameter with cracks radiating from it. She thought that it looked like a bullet hole.
SIGHTING 3: The last sighting of Karen was by a third witness at approximately 8:20pm as he left work at the SUNY Albany Campus, and was waiting at the traffic light on Washington Ave and Fuller Rd.
He was waiting for traffic to clear so that he could turn right, proceed north on Fuller Rd and access the I-90 entrance ramp across from the Six Mile entrance. The female was reportedly seen standing on the northwest corner of Fuller Road for about 10 seconds while the witness was waiting for the traffic to clear. He believed that the female appeared to be waiting for the traffic light to change.
When he made the right turn onto Fuller Rd, the witness saw a male crossing Fuller Rd from the west side to the east side, just south of the I-90 underpass. He took a few steps up the driveway where the construction trailers were on the east side of Fuller but seemed to change his mind. He then walked south on the east side of Fuller Rd. The male subject did not appear to be looking towards Karen.
He was described as a white male with "sandy or light brown, messy or curly" hair, with a couple of days growth of facial hair. He was of average height, about 18 - 25 years old, and was wearing a jean (denim?) or aviator type jacket, jeans, a flannel shirt, and high tan construction boots.
As the witness turned right onto the I-90 ramp, he saw a lime green Volkswagen Rabbit (estimated to be a 1981 or 1982) parked along the road. There was no one around the vehicle. This appears to have been the last sighting of her, and she hasn’t been heard from since.
Due to these witness accounts, authorities believe Karen likely walked south on Fuller Avenue towards State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany. They concluded she was likely abducted somewhere near Six-mile Waterworks, the entrance ramp to Interstate 90 westbound and the Northway. The night was not well lit, and the road was not heavily traveled, making it possible for someone to pull her into a vehicle within a matter of seconds without leaving witnesses.
DESCRIPTIONS & BELONGINGS: Karen was a Caucasian female listed at 5’3 (160cm) and 114lbs (51kg) with brown hair and brown eyes.
Investigators were unable to locate the personal belongings she had with her when she disappeared. These included: A gray cloth notebook, a blue nylon wallet with a Velcro closure, a green and white plastic bag from Ups N Down, and possibly a blue knapsack containing a yellow dress.
She was wearing a Cream-colored raincoat, a light blue short-sleeve pullover, faded blue Levi jeans and white sneakers. She also had a 14k gold ring, size 5 ½, with a turquoise zircon in raised setting along with 1/5 carat diamond on each side, a Seiko watch with a black face and gold numerals and white plastic earrings. The ring was approximately 40-50 years old.
Her dental records are available.
SUSPECTS: 1. A strange man was seen in the area around the time Karen vanished. He has never been identified and authorities have sought him for questioning, at least as a witness or possibly even a suspect.
2. Authorities announced that another suspect in the case was killed in an accidental house fire in 2013. He was never able to be conclusively linked to the case, and it’s thought he couldn’t be the perpetrator as he had reported to work at 4:00am, just a few hours after Karen vanished.
(On a personal note, this conclusion makes little sense to me. Karen’s last confirmed sighting was at around 7:20 pm, leaving nearly 9 hours in between her last known sighting and the time he clocked in to work. The last witness reported seeing her at 8:20pm which still leaves slightly under 8 hours.) 3. Authorities investigated the possibility that convicted murderer and suspected child-serial killer Lewis Lent Jr may have been involved in Karen's disappearance, but determined it was unlikely since Lent's previous victims were all children. He has not been ruled out.
THEORIES: 1. Police did investigate the possibility that Karen traveled to Florida after her disappearance as she had planned but found no evidence that she had ever left New York.
2. Her case has possible links to Suzanne Lyall’s abduction. Both were young, dark haired SUNY students abducted in the same manner. Authorities have investigated a possible link between the two. Both cases are unsolved.
The general consensus is that Karen was abducted and murdered.
PERSONAL THEORIES: 1. Due to Unresolved Mysteries not letting me add photos to this write-up I am unable to provide a sketch of the strange man seen in the area at the time. However, he has an uncanny resemblance to convicted serial killer John Bittrolff. It might be possible he is linked to the case, but this is simply an observation.
2. 2 young women were found murdered and floating in the river close to where Karen disappeared at the same time she vanished. It might be possible that the cases were linked.
CONCLUSION: During the first year after her disappearance, Karen's family, who now live out-of-state, mailed thousands of letters pleading for information and advertising their $10,000 reward for new details about her disappearance. They have now given up hope of their daughter coming back alive, and simply want to find her body, so they can give her a proper burial and finally know what happened to their daughter.
I don’t have much hope of a conclusion for this case any time soon. It seems clear she was abducted and murdered, and without a body there is no evidence that could lead to anything. Unless her body is found, or someone comes forward, I see this case being unsolved for years to come.
Karen Louise Wilson has been missing for 38 years. If she is still alive, she would be 60 years old.
If you have any information about Karen's disappearance, please contact New York State Police at 518-783-3212.

2023.06.05 18:04 luuuuduuuu Any advice for removing this coolant hose without tearing it?
2013 Chevy Malibu LT 2.5 Ecotec engine In the middle of removing the valve cover to change gaskets. This looks to be the upper coolant hose connecting back to the reservoir. Trying not to tear it using tiny drill bits to loosen the inner rubber, but it's like glue on there. The metal tube that it's connected to doesn't seem removable. Another thing I guess I could do is remove the hose from the reservoir side and keep the hose attached to the cover, but I wanted to clean under it. Is this a bad idea? submitted by luuuuduuuu to MechanicAdvice [link] [comments]
2023.06.05 05:33 Kodiak01 Likely saying goodbye to my little Tank tomorrow
2013 1.8 LT Sedan. Bought in 2016 with 8k on clock, now 147k.
Was really hoping it would last another year or two, but appears to be entering money sink territory.
Always meticulously maintained. You could eat off the underside of the valve cover. Driven softly enough that I could squeeze 40mpg out of in on my morning commute and didn't need brake pads until 125k. Except for the galvanized exhaust, not a spec of rust underneath thanks to regular undercarriage washes, especially in winter. Has never been garaged despite being in New England and still looks beautiful.
Saturday night, heard a new intermittent squeal. Figured it was the serpentine belt on it's way out. 9am this morning, I'm at the shop having it replaced. Did not fix the problem. They started it with the belt removed and it still made the sound which means it's likely the crank pulley. Also have a fresh P0171, but that could be related to the pulley; if it actually is an emissions thing, there is still about 2500 miles left on the extended exhaust warranty they can fix it under after I trade it in.
Being that I commute 22k mi/yr, if this is the start of the more expensive breakdowns then it's time to cut my losses. I'm going to miss this car, it's been a rock of reliability for me over the years; inexpensive to fix most things, a lot just doesn't break.
Local dealer has a 2023 Trailblazer base model for $23k and change. I'm probably going to switch to that in the morning. Was really hoping the car would last long enough for the new Trax to hit close by, but no such luck. This is one of those times where a car will be needed TODAY as opposed to ordering.
I'll still be around for a bit to share my experiences with this car, at least until the suits finish gutting all of Reddit for IPO money via API price gouging.
Edit: Bought a 23 Trailblazer LS, $23.6k OTD. Doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles, but anyone knowing my post history wouldn't be surprised by that. Very happy with the choice.

2023.06.05 03:48 dWaldizzle Thinking of purchasing a used Giulia Q4.
Wanted to have anyone point out if I have anything wrong here or something that isn't commonly discussed that I might not thinking about. Plus a couple questions.
Still in preliminary interest/window shipping phase. I'm someone who values being a little bit unique without being obnoxious and I think the Giulia fits that the best of any 20-30 grand car available right now. I'm single with no plans for kids on the way so the back seat room isn't a big deal to me. I currently have a 2011 Chevy Cruze with similar trunk room from that I've read.
- I've been searching for later 2018 models or newer after reading about a decent amount of electrical shit with the original USA year models.
- Got quoted for a MOPAR warranty from two different dealers I've seen recommended on here. Both upper 2k for 5 years. Is there anything negative any of you have run into with MOPAR in terms of stuff that wasn't covered or dealers being difficult? I have multiple stellantis dealers nearby.
- If I buy a MOPAR max care, would opening my search range from sub 50k miles to higher miles and less $$ be viable, or should I continue sticking lower.
- the performance package that includes LSD and active suspension -- is there a significant difference in driving feel between having this and not?
- Are there any packages/items that are essentially must haves (other than those damn fine 5 hole wheels)?
- How often should I be expecting to do the pricier maintenance pieces? Like brakes?
- Any other tips or advice?

2023.06.05 00:57 NasIsIllmatic 100k mile E90 M3
Been searching for an E90 M3 for a while now. Found one with great specs (2011, Comp Package, Space Gray with extended fox red interior, carbon trim). Only negative here is mileage (108k).
Rod bearings have been replaced with documentation. Had new thermostat in 2019 Front rotors and pads in 2019 Wire harness repair under recall in 2018 Airbag recall in 2017 Valve cover gasket leak repair in 2017 ABS malfunction light on in 2015. Replaced dsc pulse generator and wheel bearing and some other items Trans leak 2016. Replaced o-ring. Fixed comfort access on one handle in 2016.
PPI results came back with two findings -- tire cupping and valve cover seepage (covers and gasket). Suspension solid with no play and brakes (front &rear) have 80% life left. Car drove great and felt tight.
Would this be a dumb purchase at 28k? And would it make sense to get a third party warranty? Ideally I'd like to keep this car until it dies. Right now, I'm averaging around 5k miles/year living in the city.

2023.06.04 23:11 shelms488 Whelp! I guess it’s water pump time. Sucks because I just purchased it a bit over a month ago.
Guess I got lucky (not) purchased the vehicle April 20th, with just over 151k miles, had Ford do the open recalls on it beginning of May as well as brakes & rotors, spark plugs, valve cover gaskets, coolant flush & oil change. I’m guessing the coolant flush dislodged something & now the water pump reared it’s ugly head & said fix me too! On the positive side, it was the external (easily noticeable leak) instead of internal leak where it silently destroyed the engine (no milkshake oil yet thankfully) Will drop it off at the dealer on Monday hopefully the damage to my pocketbook won’t be too terrible. Probably should have the timing chain & guides done at the same time. Anything else I should have them do while they’re in there? submitted by shelms488 to FordExplorer [link] [comments]

2023.06.04 13:03 FelicitySmoak_ On This Day In Michael Jackson HIStory - June 4th
1970 - "The Love You Save" by The Jackson Five enters the Billboard Soul Singles chart where it will peak at #1 and remain there for 6 weeks 1984 - Michael is on the cover of US magazine https://preview.redd.it/mupw1cqdcv3b1.jpg?width=194&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=22341f64768e6df605942a9ad15af47ffbab0207 1990 - Thousands of Michael Jackson fans pour onto the grounds of St John's Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica, Los Angeles to support Michael who was admitted last night suffering from severe chest pains. Doctors today ran a battery of tests to find out what ails him. “He’s undergoing several important tests today,” said Jackson spokesman Bob Jones. “I don’t think it was a heart attack. He just experienced some discomfort. He had been feeling bad the past two or three days.” 2009 - Michael attended rehearsals and goes to Dr Klein’s in Beverly Hills 2013 - Jackson v AEG Trial Day 23 Katherine was at court with Austin Brown. Paul Gongaware Testimony AEG cross He was asked about Michael's final two rehearsals at Staples Center. Gongaware couldn't recall details about the first one. He said he wasn't particularly attentive about Jackson's health & appearance. This was the 1st rehearsal after Jackson missed one 4 days earlier. Gongaware said Michael rehearsed on June 23rd. "He was fine," Gongaware described, saying his understanding was that Michael was okay. Gongaware said he wasn't being specifically attentive on the 23rd because he didn't think there was a problem with Michael. Michael rehearsed on Jun 24th. Gongaware watched "Thriller" in its entirety, it was the 1st time they were using costume. He said Michael seemed fine. Putnam: "Was he engaged?" Gongaware: "Yes" Putnam: "Any physical issues?" Gongaware: "No, I didn't see any, He did a good rehearsal" On June 25th, Gongaware got a call from Randy saying he had a call from DiLeo asking him to go to Michael's house because something was going on. As Randy got to Michael's house, an ambulance was leaving and Randy followed it to the hospital. Gongaware said. "I didn't know what was going on" "At that point I was apprehensive because I didn't know what was happening." Gongaware said he didn't hear anything for a while, so he called Randy to see what was going on and he said Michael had died. "I was in shock," Gongaware recalled. "The artist was gone, he just passed away. How did this happen?!". Gongaware said he no idea what caused Michael to die, never contemplated the idea of Michael Jackson dying. Gongaware talked very matter-of-factly about the day Jackson died. Gongaware said he questioned how it happened. "I called Kenny right away and told him. He was at Staples Center," Gongaware recalled. "The atmosphere at Staples was very somber." After Michael's passing, Gongaware said they had to shut down production. He was then involved in Jackson's memorial service. As to why This Is It was happening in London, Gongaware explained it was Michael's best market. "We didn't know how strong it would be." Putnam asked Gongaware if AEG considered a tour in the US. "No, he had all those child allegations flying, it was the wrong thing to do" he said. Gongaware: "He didn't tour very often, I don't think he liked it very much. There were lots of things he would rather be doing". Michael never did "meet and greet, according to Gongaware The exec said Michael came out with the phrase "This Is It" because this was the last tour he was going to do. Michael only agreed to 50 shows, but Gongaware said AEG Live was interested in more Gongaware said the Dangerous tour lost money due to cancellations. He said he thought HIStory nearly broke even. Gongaware worked on Dangerous, HIStory" and one Jacksons tour back in the 80s. Michael's primary concern was not making money off his shows, Gongaware said. His primary concern was with the art, the performance "This Is It was supposed to be spectacular", Gongaware said. He would be doing 8-10 shows a month, so about 3 a week. Gongaware said he never saw Michael take drugs. Aside from drug use in 93, Gongaware said he didn't have any other knowledge of his using drugs. "He was lively, engaged, he seemed happy," Gongaware said about Michael Putnam asked Gongaware about the day he thought Jackson was impaired after an appointment with Dr. Arnold Klein. The questions prompted a sidebar. He said Jackson "wasn't quite the same" but didn't testify about Jackson's demeanor in detail. He was told Michael was at Dr. Klein's office. Gongaware said he was not familiar with the doctors who treated Michael. Putnam announced be had no more questions at this time Jackson redirect In response to Panish questions, Gongaware said This Is It was only the second tour that AEG Live would promote and produce Panish asked if the exec was concerned about Michael. "I certainly wanted him to do well". Panish: "Were you concerned about his children and his family, sir?" Gongaware: "I was concerned about him" Panish: "How about his family and children, sir?" Gongaware: "I supposed. I was focused on Michael" Brian Panish asked Gongaware a couple different ways if he was concerned about Jackson's mother & children. Gongaware looked up toward the celiling and then said he'd thought about it and he was concerned about Jackson's mom & children "I believe he was a good father," Gongaware said about Michael Jackson. Panish: "Did you know he was a great son to his mother?" Gongaware: "I believe he was" Panish asked if Gongaware ever called Katherine Jackson to express his condolences. The executive said no. Gongaware said he also didn't think that he sent Katherine Jackson or Jackson's children a condolence card. Panish: "After Michael died, did you ever send a card to his mother?" Gongaware: 'I don't think so" Panish: "Did you ever call her to express your condolences?" Gongaware: "No" Panish asked Gongaware several questions about the executive changing elements of his deposition testimony. "I believe I testified truthfully," Gongaware said. "I don't believe I changed my testimony substantially." Panish then started pointing out what he said were inconsistencies in Gongaware's testimony This led to questions about whether Gongaware was mistaken when he wrote in an email that AEG was paying Conrad Murray's salary. Gongaware said he didn't necessarily think he was mistaken. He also said he didn't remember writing the email. As to the email Gongaware wrote that AEG, not Michael paid Dr. Murray. Panish asked again if Gongaware recalled writing this email. He said no. Gongaware said he spent 2 days with his lawyers preparing for his deposition, one-two hours discussing the email about AEG paying Dr. Murray. Panish pointed out several answers Gongaware gave on his deposition and the changes he asked to make to the transcript after meeting with attorneys. Panish said Gongaware changed his testimony several times as a result of meeting with AEG's attorneys. Panish said Gongaware also changed his testimony again while on the stand and under oath. Panish tried to impeach Gongaware, which is a legal way to call into question the witness' credibility. Later in the case, the judge will instruct the jurors that if they think a person lied, they may disconsider part of all of his testimony. As to the email about AEG paying Dr. Murray, Panish pointed out that Gongaware changed his answers several times throughout his testimony. One time he said the email was shorthanded, normal course of business and didn't really think it was a mistake. Yesterday, Gongaware answered the same question saying he was mistaken when he said AEG was paying Dr. Murray. Gongaware explained he thinks he said the same thing but different ways. Gongaware was also asked about a key email he wrote that has come up several other times during the trial. Talking about Murray, he wrote: We want to remind him that it is AEG, not Michael who is paying his salary. We want him to understand what is expected of him Panish: "Do you have any idea why you might have written that AEG is paying his salary?" Gongaware: "No. I mean, I was mistaken there. We weren't going to pay his salary. We would have advanced the money on Michael's instructions" Panish then asked Gongaware about Lou Ferrigno and whether he was an employee of AEG Live. Gongaware said no, reiterating his previous testimony that he made a deal with Ferrigno. He said Ferrigno would have been an independent contractor. Panish asked whether Ferrigno had a contract with AEG Live. Gongaware said he didn't know. Panish asked Gongaware if he hired Lou Ferrigno to be Michael's trainer. "I made a deal for Michael," Gongaware said. Ferrigno was an independent contractor, Gongaware said he didn't know whether Ferrigno was submitting bills to his office. Panish: "So you stiffed Lou Ferrigno, you didn't pay the Incredible Hulk?"(Everyone in the courtroom laughed out loud) Gongaware: "I don't know how he would get paid, if he would submit bills or not" Panish said Gongaware testified yesterday that he was not concerned with Michael because he was working out with a trainer. Today Gongaware testified Michael was going to work out with Lou Ferrigno. Gongaware said he didn't know whether Ferrigno had an independent contract agreement or not and if he got paid. Panish inquired about AEG only paying people with fully executed contract. Gongaware said he didn't know the status of Ferrigno's contract. "I don't know specifically when Mr. Jackson saw trainers, but I believe he was seeing trainers," Gongaware explained. Panish: "He was seeing Lou Ferrigno to be in the next Incredible Hulk?" Gongaware: "I don't think so" Panish said Gongaware testified he was not concerned about Michael because he was working out with Lou Ferrigno. He said he didn't say that. "When he was sick on June 19, I didn't know what was happening," Gongaware explained. "After that, Michael was great." Panish asked whether he ever received Conrad Murray's contract. Gongaware, when shown an email from June 16, 2009, that included Murray's contract, said he didn't generally read contracts. "Dr Murray wasn't supposed to get paid. If Michael would've signed the deal, Dr Murray would've been paid for his work in London," Gongaware said . Panish: "You didn't have time to ready budgets, you didn't have time to read contracts, right?" Gongaware: "I didn't read budgets early on" Panish asked if Gongaware had any document to prove that Dr. Murray was told that anyone else, but AEG, was paying him. Gongaware didn't recall. Panish: "Did you have anything in writing saying it was Michael, not AEG, paying Dr. Murray?" Gongaware: "I don't know" Gongaware said he believed Dr. Murray signed one version of the contract, but doesn't know whether the one showed to him was it. Gongaware said he knew of no document that said his company's payments to Conrad Murray were actually part of a loan to Michael. Gongaware, on the stand for the sixth day, said he didn't know what Murray assumed about who was paying him. The jury was shown an email from Timm Wooley, the AEG accountant on Jackson's This Is It concert series sent Murray June 6, 2009: "I am sorry for the long delay in getting this to you, but I hope that, with your input and comments, we can dispose of the agreement quickly and arrange for payment of the May & June fee installment" Gongaware testified that although he made the deal with Murray, and that the contract was emailed to him in 2009, his court appearance was the first time he had seen it. Gongaware repeated his contention as he has throughout his testimony, that "He was working for Michael Jackson. He wasn't working for us" The contract shown to the jury said it was between AEG Live and Murray. The contract also said Murray was to "Perform the Services reasonably requested by Producers" (AEG). Trell testified earlier that this was one of several mistakes in a draft that would have been cleaned up in the final version Panish: "You expected Dr Murray, just like Ferrigno, to get paid for services provided to AEG right sir?" Gongaware: "He wasn't working for AEG" Gongaware said he was tasked to make the deal, determine compensation for Dr. Murray. Panish: "If he was Michael's personal doctor, why hire him?" Gongaware: "I think he wanted to set up the payment. I was told to negotiate his compensation" Panish asked Gongaware about his contention that Jackson was always able to perform and nail shows when necessary Gongaware repeated he believed when lights went on, Michael was always there. Panish pointed out Michael canceled several shows on the Dangerous tour. The lawyer cited several shows over Jackson's career that he missed: Bangkok, South America and the need to move a couple in Mexico City. Panish then asked Gongaware about Dr. Stuart Finkelstein, who the lawyer kept referring to as Gongaware's friend of 25 years. Finkelstein, a possible witness in the trial, was on the last leg of the Dangerous tour before it was canceled. Gongaware said Dr. Finkelstein is now a drug addiction specialist. "There were two occasions where he (Dr. Finkelstein) told me he treated Michael, but never talked about Demerol or injections," Gongaware said. "I believe he's mistaken," Gongaware said if Dr. Finkelstein gave deposition to the contrary. Panish: "Did Dr. Finkelstein tell you he put MJ on a 24 hour morphine drip?" Gongaware: "No" Gongaware denied that Finkelstein told him that he thought Jackson was suffering from a prescription drug addiction. He also denied that Finkelstein told him that another doctor on the Dangerous tour was giving Jackson Demerol shots. Dr. Forecast, from London, was Michael's doctor treating the artist during Dangerous tour Gongaware said he was never alarmed about Jackson's health and said he saw him as being well Panish: "Is safety paramount to AEG live?" Gongaware: "Safety should always be expected" Gongaware said he didn't know if there was a person in charge of safety at rehearsals Panish: "In your opinion, this is a baseless, shakedown lawsuit?" Gongaware: "I don't understand the merit in it" Panish: "You answered interrogatories in this case blaming everything on Mrs. Jackson?" Gongaware: "I don't recall" Panish: "Did you sign anything in this case saying that Mrs. Jackson was trying to extort money from AEG?" Gongaware: "I don't recall" Regarding whether Jackson's children suffered a loss after their father's death, Gongaware said: "I believe they suffered a great loss" Gongaware agreed that the best recollection of what happened in 2009 is the emails, but said he remembers from his head too. "He was always amazing," Gongaware said about Michael. Gongaware: "I thought he was great" Panish: "Despite Bugzee saying he was deteriorating in front of his eyes?" Gongaware: "My eyes told me differently" Gongaware said the demand for tickets to Michael's memorial service was huge, comparable to the demand for the This Is It tour. Gongaware said the amount of people still in line to buy tickets for This Is It could've sold out 100 shows. (ABC7) Panish: "Do you remember what you said Elvis died of?" Gongaware: "Heart ailment" But Panish recalled Gongaware giving a different answer earlier on, saying he believed it was prescription drugs Gongaware was asked about extending the This Is It tour. He was shown emails from promoters wanting Michael concerts in India, Australia. Gongaware said he would have liked the "This Is It" tour to continue, but they only had agreement for 50 shows. On 3/18/09 -- asking about MJ going to India for the show, Phillips responded: "Thanks, Thomas. Michael will definitely be heading your way" Gongaware said he thinks they were making plans in case Michael said ok, let's go. Email on 3/17/09 from Phillips: "We have a 4 year plan that includes Australia, however, we have to finish London first. Gongaware, who didn't like Australian's promoter, responded: "Over my dead body. But let's see what he says before I p**s on his parade." Panish: "Did you ever see Michael under the influence of prescription medication in June 2009?" Gongaware: "When he came back from Dr. Klein's office" Panish: "Did you investigate?" Gongaware: "No, he was coming from his doctor, I didn't think there was a need" Panish: "Your goal was to have as many shows as possible?" Gongaware: "I would've liked that" Panish: "The more shows you had, the more money AEG would've gotten, right?" Gongaware: "Yes" Panish asked Gongaware if he had talked to Phillips since he'd been on the witness stand. He said he hadn't discussed the case. Panish then asked if Phillips was aware Gongaware said he was content with AEG Live being #2 concert promoter behind Live Nation. Gongaware said he's expressed his opinion that AEG Live doesn't need to be the #1 promoter AEG recross Marvin Putnam, in re-direct, asked Gongaware if he tried to give his best testimony possible in deposition. Gongaware said "Yes" He asked Gongaware why he never sent a condolence card to Jackson's family. "I'm not good with cards", he said. He said the memorial service was how he wanted to honor the singer. Gongaware said he spent a lot of time thinking about Jackson after his death "What I did, I tried to put the memorial show together," Gongaware said. "I think it was the best thing for me to do, commemorate his life." Memorial was at the Staples Center with 15,000 people, live fed to Nokia Theater with 5,000 people. Gongaware said he worked directly with Randy Jackson on the memorial. It cost over a million dollars, AEG and Michael's estate bore the cost. "I'm glad I did what I did," Gongaware said, adding memorial was shown to millions of people interested in Michael around the world Putnam tried to rebut all the claims that Gongaware changed his testimony. Gongaware said he feels he hasn't changed his answers Putnam also showed jury Gongaware's police statement. Panish had said his comment to police was different from testimony. Panish keyed in on whether Gongaware testified that it was five weeks or two weeks between his first two conversations with Conrad Murray. The police statement said Gongaware told detectives a few weeks separated the calls regarding Murray and the contract Another document that defense attorney Marvin Putnam showed Gongaware was Lou Ferrigno's contract. Ferrigno's three-page contract designated him as an independent contractor. It was signed by AEG accounting exec Julie Hollander. Putnam showed an independent contract agreement with Ferrigno fully executed. Julie Hollander signed on behalf of AEG effective April 27, 2009 Putnam finished his examination of Gongaware by showing him Conrad Murray's contract. Putnam questioned Gongaware about Dr. Murray's contract. The exec said Michael had to sign it in order for it to be valid. Putnam showed Gongaware language in the agreement that said Michael Jackson had to sign the agreement for it to be a valid contract. Putnam also keyed in on language that said Murray was being engaged "on behalf and at the expense of Michael Jackson" Jackson redirect Then it was Panish's turn again. He said there isn't a date on the contract showing when Julie Hollander signed Ferrigno's agreement. Panish questioned Gongaware about whether Ferrigno's contract may have been signed after Jackson's death. Gongaware said he didn't think he sent any contracts to Julie Hollander after Jackson's death. Panish pointed out that Hollander was signing contracts after Michaelhad died. He asked to see the original contract. Panish: "Lou Ferrigno was retained by AEG, right?" Gongaware: "Yes" Panish asked Gongaware whether he thought it would have been better for him if he had reviewed documents and e-mails before testifying. "I relied on the advice of my attorney," he said. "All this legal stuff, I don't understand it," he said. Gongaware said he expected his lawyers would act on his best interest and that he testified truthfully and factually in his deposition. Panish asked if Gongaware expected to be believed now when he wouldn't recall his answers in deposition. Defendant objected, judge sustained Panish also repeatedly referred to the number of AEG Live defense lawyers in the courtroom. He was later admonished to stop mentioning them. Putnam had noted that Katherine Jackson's side was being represented by four law firms. Panish said he didn't care if Putnam brought it up With that Paul Gongaware was excused, subject to recall if needed. Randy Phillips Testimony Phillips said he met with six attorneys to prep for testimony between 6-8 times over the last two weeks, probably for about 30 hours. Phillips said he went through a bunch of emails, probably 30, from the period in question. He also read his deposition. Randy Phillips, the chief executive officer of AEG Live, disclosed that his lawyers advised company executives not to review old e-mails before testifying. "They felt it would be better if I went in without preparation," he said, referring to his lawyers. (AEG Live lawyer Marvin Putman said outside of court that the volume of documents they would have needed to review was massive, making it impossible for them to prepare. ) Panish asked Phillips whether he was eager to tell his side of the story. "I believe you called me as a witness, so I'm here," Phillips said flatly Phillips attended two years of law school, but didn't graduate. Panish: "Who's higher up than you at AEG Live?" Phillips: "No one at AEG Live" Panish: "You are the top dog, so to speak?" Phillips: "Yes" Phillips reports to an executive committee who would then report to Tim Leiweke. Phillips said he doesn't know why Leiweke left the company. Phil Anschutz now belongs to the executive committee. Panish at one point asked the executive whether he was familiar with the music industry. "Familiar with the music industry? I was working in it," Phillips replied. Phillips said he agreed with statements attributed to him and defense attorney Marvin S. Putnam that the case was a shakedown. Panish: "Do you think this is an extortion, shakedown lawsuit?" Phillips: "Yes or no answer? Yes" Panish: "Did you sign a document under the penalty of perjury saying Mrs. Jackson aided and abetted Joe Jackson to extort money from AEG?" Phillips: "It's possible, I don't remember. I wish you wouldn't keep calling it a baseless shakedown lawsuit" Panish: "You believe this case is an extortion, correct?" Phillips: "Yes" Panish: "You told Mr. Ortega that AEG checked everyone out, including Dr. Murray?" Phillips: "I wrote in an email to Kenny Ortega that I thought Dr. Murray had been checked out. I still do, to some extent" Panish: "You said he was a great doctor?" Phillips: "Because that's what I was told" Panish: "Did you write an email that AEG checked everyone out?" Phillips: "Yes, I did" Panish: "That was not true" Phillips: "In retrospect, not 100%.It's what I knew at the time" Panish: "Isn't it true you said AEG live doesn't lose money, sir?" Phillips: "Among other things I said" Panish showed Phillips a Forbes article where he said AEG is about making money, since they are a business. Phillips: "Live Nation is the largest concert promoter in the world" Panish: "Do you like being number 2?" Phillips: "Love it! I'd rather be a successful number 2" Panish: "You don't want to be number one?" Phillips: "Not if it means losing money" Phillips said Mr. Anschutz told him he's happy being a number 2 Panish asked if it was true Phillips wanted to meet with Michael to tour in 2007. Phillips answered it was the opposite, they asked for a meeting. Jackson lawyer Brian Panish, who has been previously told by the judge not to argue with witnesses, quickly tangled with Phillips. "Please don't argue with me because then I will argue back and get in trouble," Panish told Phillips at one point. "Then that's an incentive for me," Phillips joked (everyone laughed) Panish: "Did you learn Colony Capital purchase note on Neverland?" Phillips: "Yes" Panish: "Is Barrack one of principals on Colony Capital?" Phillips: "Yes" On 6/13/08, Phillips sent an email to Colony Capital with a summation of plans for Michael for four years: I caution you that Michael is not fast and a total perfectionist (needs to be controlled as much as possible) Phillips said he was referring to Michael's spending Panish: "Neverland was his beloved home, right sir?" Phillips: "Hard to answer, because of the things Michael told me" When the executive appeared to crack a smile, Panish asked if he thought the proceedings were funny. Phillips:"No, I think it's tragic" Panish: "Do you think any of this is funny, sir?" Phillips: "No, I think it's tragic" Tohme Tohme was a business associate with Colony Capital, who was also working with Michael. Panish asked if Phillips thought there was a conflict of interest with Tohme working for Colony and Michael. He said "No" Court Transcript submitted by FelicitySmoak_ to MichaelJackson [link] [comments]

He arrived with his parents and his famous siblings - Janet, LaToya, Jermaine, Tito and Randy. They waved to the fans chants of Michael is Innocent! https://preview.redd.it/p8jtchhn0p3b1.jpg?width=612&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9cb1c23e69cfefb6e4608aa16b3650011976c106 Defense attorneys completed their closing arguments, labeling the Arvizo family liars and con artists trying to pull the biggest con of their careers. "They are trying to take advantage of Michael Jackson," said impassioned defense attorney Thomas Mesereau. "They are trying to profit from Michael Jackson. They think they have pulled it off. They are just waiting for one thing - your verdict." "What they are trying to do to Michael Jackson is so harmful, so brutal, so devastating if you have any reasonable doubt about the double-talk, the lies, its over. You must acquit Michael Jackson," he told the 12 jurors. Mesereau spoke about the American system of justice and said, "We have the best system in the world and ladies and gentlemen I'm begging you to honor the system. You must acquit him." He accused prosecutors of trying to "dirty up Michael" because they lack the evidence to prove their case. "The witnesses are preposterous, the perjury is everywhere," Mesereau declared. "None of it works. The only thing they've had is to throw dirt all over the place and hope it sticks." He added: "If you look in your hearts do you believe Michael Jackson is evil in that way? Is it even possible? It really is not." Mesereau then played excerpts from a video in which Jackson denies any sexual impropriety and said that he had never been betrayed or deceived by children. The defense attorney conceded that Jackson had been lax with his money and had let the wrong people into his circle. But, he said, the singer was not the monster the prosecution were trying to depict and that he was not guilty of any crime. Afterwards, prosecutor Ron Zonen delivered a brief rebuttal. He sought to answer the question of Jacksons motivation for the crime asking, "Why would Mr. Jackson do it? Because he could This child was in love with him. This child would do anything he said." Zonen reminded jurors of the past allegations made against Jackson saying that this was necessary in order to see the total picture. He claimed that Jackson was in love with his 1993 accuser and added that the current accuser is a clone of the boy in that case. After both sides rested for the last time, Judge Rodney Melville ordered the eight women and four men on the jury to begin their deliberations. He gave them a 98-page book of instructions. The Judge told Jackson that he could stay at Neverland during the proceedings but requested that the attorneys remain within 10 minutes of the courthouse in case the jurors had any questions. These deliberations are the final stage of an ordeal that began 14 weeks ago. During this time the jury has heard testimony from over 130 witnesses. A verdict was expected early next week. Court Transcript While Jury deliberations take place, the whole Jackson family waits for the verdict at Neverland. https://preview.redd.it/lh5l7gqo0p3b1.jpg?width=612&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e5967b6b6c73b0a56bec2b5b8e28f20e68b9ddb7 2008 - Michael has dinner with Thomas Barrack Jr, chairman and CEO of Colony Capital LLC, at the Las Vegas Hilton's Verona Sky Villa. 2009 - Michael goes to Culver Studios with Prince, Paris & Kenny Ortega, where he shoots “The Drill” 3D https://preview.redd.it/5lzzqj2t0p3b1.jpg?width=736&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8747a49dd0f9c68ae73b6f93fa21e2f9e01b6a77 https://preview.redd.it/hezl4ayt0p3b1.jpg?width=199&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1dae7ef1a99ee196a5be6dbfb8cd5ab243856f58 He also, once again, goes to Dr Klein’s in Beverly Hills. 2013 - Jackson v AEG Trial Day 22 No Jackson family member was at the courthouse. Paul Gongaware AEG cross Putnam asked Gongaware if MJ was comfortable with all the show dates. "Yes, I went through all of the dates with him," Gongaware said. Bugzee, the tour manager, had a big calendar on the walls, Gongaware explained, saying they changed the dates of the shows four times. The jury was shown an email in which Gongaware worked with a staffer to create a calendar to show Jackson. He wanted colors changed. He wanted the calendar to be changed so that it reflected Jackson's show dates and off days differently. Gongaware email: Figure it out so it looks like he's not working so much As to the email, Putnam asked if he was trying to fool Michael: "No, I was trying to make it clear, trying to get it just the way I wanted it," Gongaware responded. After changing 4 show dates Gongaware said Michael was comfortable with it. He would do 8 shows in July, 10 in August, 9 in September. There would be no shows in October, November and December, resuming with 10 shows in January, 10 in February and three in March. No back-to-back shows. Gongaware said the O2 Arena had a previous commitment in Oct-Dec of 2009 and they could not have the concerts. Putnam: "Was this a rigorous schedule?" Gongaware: "No, not at all" Gongaware recalled that on the HIStory tour they did 10-12 shows per month, from country to country, but this one would stay in London only. Gongaware said he wasn't concerned with Michael's age. "He seemed great to me," he said, and this was stationary show, didn't have to travel. Gongaware: The reason Michael wanted to delay the 1st show was he wanted more time to rehearse in the O2 Arena where the show would take place. He said Michael and Kenny Ortega would decide the rehearsal schedule. Gongaware explained Michael didn't have to attend rehearsals, since it was not part of his deal. He said they never require an artist to rehearse. "I didn't have any expectation," Gongaware said regarding Michael rehearsing. He said he's never seen a requirement for a musicial artist to rehearse & that during the HIStory tour, Michael didn't rehearse but nailed it. "When it was game time, he would show up," Gongaware explained. For instance, Gongaware cited an outdoor concert in Bangkok in high heat, humidity. As to the email Gongaware wrote about calling Michael lazy, he said he used unfortunate choices of words, Michael didn't like to rehearse. Talking about the elements of the show, Gongaware described what they wanted to do for the opening of the show. He said Michael would be dressed up in a LED suit, like a television, flashing on him brief movie about things that happened in history. Michael would be lowered down onto the stage. He called the LED suit a "Moon man" suit, but Ortega called it "Light man." Putnam showed a presentation of how the LED suit idea would work. Footage is not on This Is It documentary because it was early stages of prep. Gongaware said the 1st idea was to make Michael float from the audience, but they couldn't make it work. So they decided to lower him down onto the stage. Gongaware said the big screen on the back of the stage was 3D capable. The audience would be given glasses when they entered the show. The 3D songs would be Thriller, Earth Song and Smooth Criminal. "He wanted to do biggest, best show ever, live show," Gongaware said Putnam showed email chain from Ortega to Gongaware asking to make a deal with choreographer Travis Payne. Answer from Gongaware: This is not AEG money, it's Michael's money so it takes a lot of time to get approvals Defendants were trying to establish a pattern that all the money spent was actually Michael's money, not AEG's, just like with Dr. Murray At one point Gongaware said he learned from Michael about a doctor named Murray. "He came to me and said he wanted his personal doctor on the tour". Gongaware said he suggested to Michael to get a licensed doctor in London who would know the lay of the land, in case of need. "This is the machine, we have to take care of the machine. I want Conrad," Gongaware said Michael responded. I think what he meant was his brain could create it but his body had to deliver the show every night Putnam: "Were you surprised he wanted to take his doctor on tour?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam: "Why not?" Gongaware: "He had doctors before" Gongaware said other artists take doctors as well, so he was not the only one and it didn't surprise him. Gongaware said he's been on tour before where an artist had chiropractors, but couldn't remember being in one with a doctor Putnam: "Did you worry Michael might have a health issue?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam: "Why not?" Gongaware: "He seemed fine to me, had a physical and passed" Gongaware said the suggestion for a London doctor was due to the cost; paying a doctor full time was much more expensive than hiring a local doctor. Gongaware said Dr. Murray treated Michael for about three years before 2009. He knew the doctor was from Las Vegas but said he was in LA. Gongaware said he then called Dr. Murray to work out a deal. Gongaware testified he didn't have Michael's direct phone number, would go through Michael Amir Williams, his personal assistant, to reach him. Gongaware called Murray on behalf of Michael saying the singer wanted to take him to London. "What do you want to be paid for that," Gongaware asked. Gongaware said he thought Dr. Murray was expecting his call and was aware of the desire to take him on tour. "He said he would need $5 million," Gongaware recalled. "He said he has 4 clinics to close, would lay off people, needs $5 million for that." Asked by Putnam if Murray's price was reasonable: "It was ridiculous," Gongaware said about the amount asked. "It was a lot of money for something like that and Michael could not afford it." Gongaware said he responded that it wasn't going to work" He said this was the first time he spoke with Dr. Murray. After that, Gongaware said he told Michael Amir and Randy Phillips what the doctor had asked. He also told Frank DiLeo. Gongaware said a lot of people who wanted to work for MJ asked for huge sums of money, thinking he had a lot. Putnam: "Would you be doing this if Michael had not asked you?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam: "Did you contemplate bringing a doctor on tour?" Gongaware: "I didn't think he needed one, we didn't have one in History, he was fine" "He was Michael's doctor, Michael wanted him. That was it," Gongaware said. Putnam:" Did you think about checking the doctor?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam: "Why not?" Gongaware: "He was Michael's doctor" " I'm not going to tell Michael Jackson who his doctor should be," Gongaware explained. "It wasn't my place to say who his doctor was going to be," Gongaware said. "It was his decision." Gongaware said he doesn't think a doctor's financial situation has anything to do with being an ethical doctor. Gongaware said it never crossed his mind to either do a background check on Dr. Murray or to suggest to anyone to do it. "I just expect doctors to be ethical, the financial side of their lives shouldn't have an impact on their medical decision," Gongaware opined. Gongaware said he never did a background check on anyone he hired and had he done one on Dr. Murray, it would've been out of the ordinary. He also said he never considered performing background checks on Jackson's makeup artist, a choreographer who worked one-on-one with the singer or Kenny Ortega, the tour's director. "I didn't see the need for it," he said. Dr. Finkelstein, a friend of Gongaware, said a doctor should charge $10,000 a month for the tour work. But Dr. Finkelstein would've done it for free, since he was on the Dangerous tour before and had a lot of fun The second call about Dr. Murray came from Michael Amir Williams saying they were going to need to get a deal done for the doctor. Gongaware said he heard Michael in the car saying "offer 150, offer 150." Gongaware understood that to be $150k/month. Gongaware called Dr. Murray, said he was authorized to offer him $150k a month. He said Dr. Murray responded that he couldn't do it for that. Gongaware told him the offer came directly from the artist and Dr. Murray responded: "I'll take it" Gongaware said Michael approved the amount of compensation. "Michael told me offer 150," Gongaware recalled. "And that's what I did." Gongaware inquired from Dr. Murray how he would get a license in London and the doctor told him not to worry about it. They talked about Dr. Murray's request for a house in London, and the doctor said he would need a three bedroom house. Gongaware recalled Dr. Murray saying he would probably need an assistant and some equipment, but no details were given at this point. After the call, Gongaware said he let Michael Amir Williams know what the result was in a May 6th email: Done at 150k per month, per MJ. He needs about 10 days to wind down his practice then he will be full time Asked why he had negotiated with Murray, the AEG executive replied that he was "instructed to by Michael Jackson." Gongaware said there was no other reason for him to deal with the doctor. Marvin Putnam asked Gongaware why he didn't tell Jackson he couldn't take Murray on tour with him."Because he could if he wanted," Gongaware said. Gongaware said he passed Dr. Murray on to Timm Wooley, never had any other conversation with Dr. Murray about him possibly going to London. Putnam: "Do you have any understanding as to whether a contract with Dr. Murray was executed?" Gongaware: "One never was" Putnam: "Did AEG pay Dr. Murray any kind of money?" Gongaware: "No" Gongaware said Michael was ultimately responsible for his own health: "I think everyone is responsible for their own health and well being. He was a grown man with the capability to make decisions regarding his health and medical care" Putnam showed Gongaware a frame from the This Is It film in which Jackson's manager, Frank Dileo, was sitting in on dancer auditions. Dancers auditions took place at the Nokia Theater on April 13, 14 & 15. Michael attended the last day and made the final decision, Gongaware said. He said Ortega wanted to film the audition to use fresh footage on michaeljacksonlive.com. The cost for crew to shoot the audition was very high, so Gongaware bought a couple of cameras and used his own crew to shoot the rehearsals. He said he wasn't sure what he would use the video for, but thought the website would be a good platform. Gongaware said during the period at Center Staging, Michael was good, engaging, didn't think there were any health issues or was using drugs Gongaware said the media in the UK was going wild with gossip about Michael Jackson. "They just lie about things." The Sun claimed Michael had skin cancer on his chest. "It was sport over in London," Gongaware said about stories on tabloids. Gongaware testified about emails in which UK press agents working on This Is It sent him tabloid reports on Michael's health. Gongaware said he urged the press agents not to respond. He wanted Jackson's performance to speak for itself & silence skeptics. Gongaware on 5/27/09: The Kid is healthy and rehearsing every day. He was still there at dance rehearsals at 9pm last night when I left. Our redemption will be when he does his shows, that makes all of this build up so damn sweet. We don't have to sell tickets, so we can just sit back and prove them wrong by just doing it. Gongaware said he was not concerned "If there was something going on, if he had cancer, we would've heard about it." Michael Jackson rehearsal venues: - Mar 28- Center Staging
- May 27- Forum June 23 - Staples Center
- July 13 - O2 Arena
Putnam also asked Gongaware about an incident Karen Faye testified about, that she heard him yelling at Michael's assistant one day. The incident occurred while This Is It rehearsals were happening at The Forum in LA. Faye claimed she heard Gongaware yelling about Jackson being late to a rehearsal and told his assistant to get him there. "Never, never happened," Gongaware said, shaking his head. Putnam went through a chain of emails about tabloid reports in the UK regarding Michael. In one, it said Michael had asked AEG to reduce the number of shows by half. Gongaware said that such a discussion never happened. Gongaware testified he woke up to one gossip headline pretty much every day. His idea was simply to ignore the tabloids. "An amazing show would be the answer", Gongaware said Gongaware on 6/5/09 in response to Sunday Mirror Query: "We can only make this work, of course, if MJ puts on the best show of his life. I'm here to tell you that be will. I have seen it for myself. Last night he ran 9 songs with full band, singers and dancers. Sang every one, he was amazing, captivating, riveting. And he's just getting started. Taking it one step further. When people realize that bulls**t the press has been, they will be in receptive mood for the truth Hey look. No skin cancer. He's just a good dad, loving raising his kids. His art and his craft are paramount. A gentle, loving man who does care about people "The shows were going to be spectacular," Gongaware said. Putnam showed a clip of Michael in front of a green screen with 11 dancers, who would become 11,000. Gongaware said Michael was great at this point Regarding email Phillips sent Gongaware directing to remove Michael's "skeletal" scenes Gongaware said he didn't take anything out of the movie. Putnam: "Did you remove anything from the movie?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam showed a clip from This Is It with the making of "Thriller 3D" and Jackson wearing red jacket. Putnam: "Did you try to alter in anyway how Mr. Jackson looked, appeared?" Gongaware: "No" Gongaware said he didn't remember any of the footage been removed because of how Michael looked. "We just let the footage speak for itself" The mini-movie of "Earth Song" a bulldozer would come out from a ramp in center stage. Putnam: "A real bulldozer?" Gongaware: "I wish, it would've been cheaper, but it would have crushed our ramps" Gongaware said they had to build the bulldozer like a prop. It would appear at the end of the song on stage. "I think the live audience would be just captivated by it," Gongaware said about the little girl running after the last plant on Earth song. End of the show would be 3D animation. An airplane taxis up, door opens, Michael entered the plane. The airplane door closes, Michael would actually take an elevator down and out of the building, but the plane would take off over the audience Gongaware said he didn't know if anyone was responsible for Michael's nourishment. Tour would be demanding and exhausting Gongaware said he met Dr. Murray once at MJ's Carolwood house and ran into him at The Forum during rehearsal. There was a meeting scheduled to discuss Michael's nutrition with Randy Phillips, Kenny Ortega, Dr. Murray, Michael, Gongaware and DiLeo. Putnam: "Do you recall anyone in that meeting ever telling Dr. Murray how he should be treating Michael?" Gongaware: "No" Gongaware said he didn't have any medical training and wasn't qualified to tell Conrad Murray how to treat Jackson Gongaware said neither Dr. Murray nor Michael talked about the treatment he was receiving. The meeting was about nutrition & vitamin therapy. Gongaware said he had no idea Dr. Murray was giving Michael Propofol and first heard of the anesthetic after Michael died. Gongaware said Dr. Murray was really engaged in the meeting, seemed like a very intelligent guy and wanted to take care of Michael very much. This was the first time Gongaware met with Dr. Murray. He said there were no signs of Michael being poorly treated by the doctor. "Michael was engaged in the meeting, attentive, seemed happy we were having this meeting," Gongaware opined. "He's a doctor, he'd know better than anybody how to treat his patient," Gongaware said about Dr. Murray. As to Gongaware's email saying AEG, not Michael, paid Dr Murray he said he was mistaken. "We wouldn't pay his salary, we'd advance Michael's money". Gongaware said he didn't remember writing/receiving the email, but never denied he did it. As to Michael being habitually late, Gongaware said the singer worked on his own schedule, did things his way Gongaware said his understanding was that Michael hired a trainer of his choice, Louis (Lou) Ferrigno: "I made the deal with him (Ferrigno). He was supposed to be paid a certain amount of money per session" He didn't elaborate on fee, how many times he worked with Michael. Putnam showed an email from Travis Payne, he suggested a massage chair to be put in Michael's dressing room. As to Bugzee's email saying MJ needed cheeseburgers, brats and beers, Gongaware said Bugzee was joking, Bugzee cared very much for Michael. Gongaware testified he didn't recall having any concern about Michael's health/using painkillers as of Monday 6/15/09, 10 days prior to his death Gongaware was asked about several emails that have been shown before, including messages related to MJ missing rehearsal on June 19, 2009. The executive was on the East Coast for a family wedding, but responded to one message questioning why Murray wasn't at rehearsal. Gongaware email: Take the doctor with you. Why wasn't he there last night? He then explained his thinking to the jury. Gongaware: If his patient is having a problem and he's sick, and he's his only patient, it seemed like he should be there Gongaware said on 6/19/09, he was out of town. "This is the day Michael had chills at rehearsal and was apparently sick," Gongaware recalled. "If the meeting was going to be about what happened that night, the doctor should be there," Gongaware said. Gongaware said he believed Michael wanted to go on tour. He said he doesn't remember anyone talking about pulling the plug on the shows. Putnam: "Did anyone tell you at this point that Michael needed a drug addiction specialist?" Gongaware: "No" Putnam: "Did anyone tell you they were concerned with the care Dr. Murray was giving to Michael?" Gongaware: "No" Gongaware said that on 6/20/09 he did not think Michael's health was deteriorating. With last questions of the day, Putnam asked Gongaware if he was concerned about Jackson's well-being. He said "Yes" Court Transcript submitted by FelicitySmoak_ to MichaelJackson [link] [comments] |
2023.06.03 00:03 Illustrious_Sky7 My 2013 Chevy Cruze LS (manual) is dying when I’m not on my gas!
This problem started about 6 months ago (very intermittently) and has progressively gotten worse.
My Cruze does fine for the most part. But every once in a while for seemingly no reason at all, this will occur;
My gas pedal is no longer responsive unless I press it ALL the way to the floor, at which point it will jerk to the current RPMs like a clutch kick no matter how fast I let off the clutch. This doesn’t automatically slow me down. In fact, it locks my RPMs where they were. No acceleration capability, just very very slow deceleration.
If I am off of my gas pedal completely when this is happening, it just dies completely. Could be at 65MPH or at a stop light. Doesn’t matter. It gets very scary because I live in Oregon and the roads out here are very hilly and curvy, which means that sometimes my car dies and loses hydraulic pressure in the wheel after 1-2 turns. Very scary. Does anybody know what could be causing this? Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Just took my 328i for a pcv recall. Did a full inspection. Only thing that needs to be done according to them valve cover assembly/oil pan gasket replacement motor mounts and OFHG if wanted/battery and tires.
About to order all the parts was wonder what I should do first how much time I should give myself and if I should still replace or worth replacing belt+water pump and thermostat.
According to the service advisor mine look great.
I’m also already going to do solenoids, disavalve, ignitions coils/spark plugs. Anything else I’m missing? TIA!
Still waiting for my head unit and rear bumper to be painted to get it all done over a weekend sometime this month.

2023.06.02 05:56 NeedleworkerSad357 Overview of the Blackmail Running Our World
This post is an overview of some of the blackmail tactics used to control most of the influential people and governments around the world. Obviously I cannot cover everything in a single post, so as with my previous posts I highly encourage you to research further yourself. All sources and links are at the bottom of the post. An understanding of what trauma-based mind control programming (MKULTRA/MONARCH) is, and how it works, is again necessary to understanding much of this. My other posts here:
The world is run on blackmail, mind control, and shame.
There exist many collections of videotapes of 'high-up' people engaging in some of the worst, sickest things imaginable. Drugs, torture, pedophilia, and murder are common themes to these videos. These tapes are in the hands of many different people, groups, and especially intelligence agencies. 'Honey-trap' operations are constantly being run to gather compromising and incriminating evidence on people of importance. Child slaves will be used to compromise people on video. Global leaders are often covertly videotaped doing perverted things with sex slaves sent to them by intelligence agencies, the Illuminati, or other groups, and this is then leveraged. Rape and murder of a child (forced or not), one of the most repulsive things possible, is many times filmed to ensure future compliance.
"
Back in 1966, Rothstein became the first police detective assigned to investigate the prostitution industry. Almost immediately he discovered an underground sexual blackmail operation that compromised politicians with child prostitutes. ‘Human Compromise’ is what he labelled the honey-trap process. Rothstein and his colleagues found that approximately 70 percent of top US Government leaders were compromised in this way. Rothstein said, the CIA conducted the human compromise operation, while the FBI was tasked with covering up any leaks."
"
One of the things I found out over the last ten years of studying governments and listening to intelligence and counter-intelligence is that those in government are sexually compromised, and their sexual secrets are collected and then they are promoted into governments and into judiciaries and into all the positions of importance. Paedophilia is the preferred dirt as it is easily photographed, easily presented in a range of media, immensely shameful, and the public demands your resignation."
"
Paul Bonacci, one of the victim-witnesses in the Franklin affair, also clearly stated Larry King used him in blackmail operations in New York and Washington. The latter was in connection with the activities of a close associate of Larry King, Craig Spence, who was involved in a prostitution ring consisting of underaged boys that were supplied to Washington's upper class, which went right up to the White House."
- The Reality of Protected Child Abuse Networks [11]
"
The thing about pedophilia is it holds the most shame, therefore it has the most control over judges and lawyers, and Queen's councils and politicians and ministers. Sexually bent politicians in denial of their sexuality to the public are a threat to their own country and policies. They are easily setup, photographed, politically bribed, toppled, and supported in the destruction of their country. This method of altering a country’s policies is epidemic and now endemic to politics."
"
Bob (Hope) was politically connected and knew how to lure people in and insure they would work for him. He invited them to his parties and dangled various kinds of illegal or immoral perversions in their faces. Once their perversions were uncovered, he could blackmail or control them. That is how Bob worked. Bob was very good at this. I watched him do it to people over and over. He lured them in, detected their weaknesses, then used that knowledge in his favor, for his connections, and ultimately for his personal gain."
These blackmail 'practices' are often used in conjunction with trauma-based mind control. This mind control is an integral component of, and is deeply intertwined with child trafficking, sex slavery, Satanic ritual abuse, and many other horrific crimes. Many of the children used for blackmail are programmed, and many of the people being blackmailed (including (sometimes future) politicians, leaders, presidents, etc.)
are also programmed themselves.
"
My personal belief, based on my experiences, is that over the years, more leaders were under mind control."
"
Fritz Springmeier notes that 'It is a standard tactic of the Illuminati, their New World Order and its various branches to use fear and blackmail to bring people into line.' Cheryl Beck had a 'sexy Sadie' program that was used to blackmail government and military people as a child prostitute seductress. Cathy O’Brien’s daughter Kelly was 'being prostituted to the CIA for blackmail purposes.' Svali notes that using child prostitutes to blackmail political leadership outside of the Illuminati was very common."
"
Beryl-Green said Epstein knew about MKULTRA. He was into mind-controlling victims and satanic ritual abuse (SRA). Epstein was into DNA mixing, human cloning and he knew about New World Order plans."
"
This dirty game has been honed to a fine art, which is a standard feature of the Illuminati/intelligence groups. The CIA term for blackmail is an 'OK FIX.' When they use a person’s past sins to force someone to do something they refer to this as 'biographic leverage.' Any weak point in a person can and will be exploited. Sexual entrapment for blackmail is referred to as a 'HONEY TRAP'. Black widow alters are being trained and sent out for this purpose. In order to blackmail, or threaten, you have to have something to threaten the person with. Men are frequently entrapped by sexual behavior which is criminal. Sometimes they are also entrapped by murder. The Monarch slave will be allowed to have children so that they can be blackmailed into complying to save the children or grandchildren. The Monarch slave in turn may be used to blackmail others. Certain alters are trained in this. A Monarch Beta model is highly trained in seduction. Many politicians and ministers are operating under blackmail today. The extent that blackmail is being used by the NWO would boggle people’s minds. Porn films are taken of the Monarch victims, so that they can be used to blackmail the victim. Monarch victims are forced to commit ritual murders which are photographed and then used to blackmail the mind-controlled victim."
Intelligence agencies all over the world utilize blackmail, routinely employing and exploiting it as much as possible. It is an extremely important 'tool' of theirs. Operations are done to gather the incriminating evidence.
"
Other 'neutralisations' verge on the bizarre. An individual who must remain nameless for a variety of reasons - but whose name is known to this writer - underwent an experience that is both horrific and chilling. I shall call this individual 'Mr. X' or, simply, 'X'. Mr. X was a leader of one of the largest CIA-backed Contra groups. He recently testified before the US Senate Intelligence Committee. Formerly, X was a senior executive in a South American subsidiary of a leading US soft drinks corporation. During his Senate testimony, he denied any knowledge of CIA involvement in the narcotics trade, adding that condoning such activity would have been foreign to his way of life. Not so, says Tatum. Mr. X had been recruited into the CIA by then-Director William Casey, with the assistance of Oliver North. In 1990, when Nicaraguan leader Daniel Ortega announced there would be 'free elections', X was ecstatic. He began jostling for position and asked President Bush to ensure he be given a prominent position in the new government - in return for his years of toil at the behest of the CIA and the Enterprise. The pressure came in a form that Bush could not ignore. Failure to help his friend would result in X's intimate knowledge of Bush's involvement in the dope trade being made public. His threat left Bush with a sour taste. A Pegasus team was assigned to 'neutralise' him in early 1990. Mr. X, Tatum states, 'fancied himself a lover of women. Tall, large-breasted blondes were his favourite. It was determined that, if effectively neutralised, [X] could be an asset. Therefore, it was decided that intimidation would be used to control [X].' They chose to use the drug Scopolamine, which also went by the nickname 'Burundanga' or 'the Voodoo drug'. The drug is extracted from the pods of a flowering shrub that grows in remote regions of South America. In its processed, powdered form, Scopolamine is 'void of smell, void of taste'. When properly administered 'it causes absolute obedience' without this being 'observable by others'. Importantly, the target will not recall any of the events that occurred during the period they were under the spell of the drug. Tatum states that X was invited to spend a relaxing weekend at a luxury hotel as a guest of his friend George Bush. His host for the weekend was a trusted 18-year veteran field-intelligence officer. The evening started with cocktails and was followed by a fine meal. ''Nothing but the best' were the orders.' Following the meal, he was ushered into the suite of a 'blonde bombshell' supplied by the CIA. Mr. X had already ingested a dose of Burundanga during pre-dinner cocktails. X was gallant with the blonde as they both moved into the bedroom where video cameras were already set up in one corner. In short order, the blonde had X standing naked in front of her and began to indulge his desires. All the while, the video cameras whirred. Slowly stripping off, the 'blonde' revealed his manhood in all its glory. Mr. X was instructed to reciprocate the favour and perform fellatio. He obliged, his intimate activities recorded at 24 frames a second on videotape. Tatum says the male prostitute was hired from a bar in New York and killed that same evening. Two weeks later, X - wholly unaware of the events of that evening - was visited in Nicaragua. He was presented with a copy of the video footage, along with instructions. Tatum says that X can never allow that video to be seen: 'Not only does it reveal his homosexuality, but it also reveals his bestiality and satanic worship rituals.' As frame after frame flicked by, X reportedly wept, forced to watch himself kill his homosexual 'lover' and then engage in the most grisly cannabalistic ritual imaginable. Neutralised, Mr. X became a leading member of the Nicaraguan government a few short weeks later."
"
Check out the FBI records on Scarlett: What was his original HOOK that got him so deeply embedded into UK Illuminati culture? He murdered the nanny of Lord Lucan in the 1970's. Lucan wasn't actually involved. Scarlett got it wrong. He was under mind control at the time. How we all laughed on his training sessions when we heard that one. Not funny, really. We were all in the same boat. Each had something terrible attached to us, in our past. That is all part and parcel of the Illuminati contract. Young people forced under mind control to commit murder when young and then later on, picked up by British Intelligence to be used and abused as they wished - as loyal servants of the British Crown. One can only hope that by exposing these HOOKS, that some sort of amnesty can prevail. If these people are freed from the demonic Illuminati contract by exposing their HOOKS - one can only hope that they will come forward as a sizeable and influential body of political and public figures, in order to put an end to it. Here's hoping. Check out Rimington's hook to see what sort of mind ran MI5 for so long. It's a game called 'mafia' and it is ALL about blackmail."
"
...He had previously signed off on Epstein’s 'sweetheart deal' because Epstein 'had belonged to intelligence.' Acosta, then serving as US attorney for Southern Florida, had also been told by unspecified figures at the time that he needed to give Epstein a lenient sentence because of his links to 'intelligence.'"
"
Detective Rothstein found that the CIA were behind a blackmail operation in which child prostitutes were used to honey-trap and compromise politicians, military brass, top businessmen, and key government officials. Rothstein, who arrested the key Watergate perpetrator, said Watergate solely concerned this human compromise racket, and specifically was an attempt to obtain a list of compromised pedophile VIPs and their proclivities that was held at the Democratic National Headquarters."
"
Michael Aquino was in the military. He had top Pentagon clearances. He was a pedophile. He was a Satanist. He founded the Temple of Set. And he was a close friend of Anton LaVey. The two of them were very active in ritualistic sexual abuse. And they deferred funding from this government program to use in this experimentation on children. Where they deliberately split off the personalities of these children into multiples, so that when they're questioned or put under oath or questioned under lie detector, that unless the operator knows how to question a multiple-personality disorder, they turn up with no evidence. They used these kids to sexually compromise politicians or anyone else they wish to have control of...they were taken to be used by professional pedophiles. People that have the money to buy what they want, take the kids wherever they want...and by splitting the children’s personalities they could then train each one of the personalities to do a different function. And the rest of the personalities within that host personality would not be aware of it or remember it."
- Noreen Gosch, Johnny Gosch's mother (of the 'Franklin Boys') [1]
"
Vinson also told Nick Bryant that Spence and Larry King were 'partners' and 'hooked up with the CIA', stating specifically that 'King and Spence were in business together, and their business was pedophilic blackmail.' They were transporting children all over the country. They would arrange for children to be flown into Washington, DC and also arrange for influential people in DC to be flown out to the Midwest and meet these kids. Per Vinson, Larry King had confided in him that he had clients who liked to torture and even kill children: 'King said they had clients who actually liked having sex with kids as they tortured or killed the kid. I found that totally unbelievable.' After Vinson said this to Nick Bryant, he asked Bryant later on in the interview if King’s disclosure had indeed been true. He was unaware at the time that other evidence, including witness testimony, had suggested that it was."
"
According to fugitive ex-CIA officer Frank Terpil, CIA-directed sexual blackmailing operations were intensive in Washington at about the time of the Watergate scandal. One of those operations, Terpil claims, was run by his former partner, Ed Wilson. Wilson's base of operations for arranging trysts for the politically powerful was, Terpil says, Korean agent Ton Sun Park’s George Town Club. In a letter to the author, Terpil explained that ‘Historically, one of Wilson’s Agency jobs was to subvert members of both houses [of Congress] by any means necessary. Certain people could be easily coerced by living out their sexual fantasies in the flesh...A remembrance of these occasions was permanently recorded via selected cameras...The technicians in charge of filming were TSD [Technical Services Division of the CIA]...The unwitting porno stars advanced in their political careers, some of whom may still be in office.'"
- The Reality of Protected Child Abuse Networks [11]
"
Intelligence and counter intelligence ‘work’, and they ‘work together’ to create scenarios that are so unbelievable that they cannot be published in the mainstream media, and if they are, they will appear like a joke. The information to blackmail a country, to blackmail its politicians, to blackmail its Prime Ministers and Presidents, to blackmail its judges and lawyers is a very serious matter."
The Illuminati and other cults also engage in the same blackmail operations. There is a
huge overlap between secret societies/cults and intelligence, with top intelligence usually being run by them. All of them do this.
"
I was able to have first hand access to the Jeffrey Epstein case investigation documents. According to the documents, Epstein was the head of a global fraternity related to the Shriners called The Royal Order of Jesters. This order is covered with scandals and lawsuits related to human trafficking, but they are very protected because many members of the order are high-profile political figures and businessmen. It is crazy how these people manage to operate under the radar for so many years, decades...Now you may ask how they do this? Easy...By using blackmail tactics, they manage to have Judges and Law Enforcement licking their feet. That's how Jeffery Epstein got assassinated. After he was out of the game, the whole business is run by other people. Major names are involved and many high-profile people who are all bound to the order by means of blackmail. This is particularly disturbing when you find out that the cases of Catholic priests involved in sex scandals are events organized by The Order of Jesters. They run blackmail operations with the purpose of seducing people in power...With those videos in their power, the careers and the public image of many people are in the Jester's hands. They are free to do anything, they can turn even the President of the United States into a slave."
-- "Jeffrey Epstein Post" [7]
"
Illuminati 'FROG ON A LILYPAD' programming: The FROG as a paedophile - with no 'tadpole tail/tale', as in no memory of what he/she has done until they get past 40 years old. It becomes clear that so many people were forced to be paedophiles and to abuse their children - only to wake up to all of this later on - post 40 years old. Then to have Stella Rimington on their doorstep with a videotape - telling them that she will send it to the police if they do not do precisely what she says. The ultimate blackmail weapons combined: A tape of you committing paedophilia - and even worse - incest with your own children. Guaranteed to 'silence' most people for life. The scope of this Illuminati blackmail project has been immense, in British society and it has to be exposed. There is safety in numbers."
"
(Sue) Arrigo adds that the kids with the most smarts and/or looks, about 5% are skimmed off the top by the Luciferians in charge like the Bushes and used as either spies or corporate sex slaves or both. They’re typically pimped out on high priced loans to influential politicians as house boy and girls to ensure the puppets in Congress are happy and blackmail-able for control."
"
The Masonic leadership of Freemasonry in a given area will have thousands of 'blackmail' files on essentially everyone of importance in their area. Upper echelon people such as judges, lawyers, and politicians are generally controlled via IRS infringements, and many of the lower echelon people are controlled through weird sexual items. This is where the Delta and Beta Monarch slaves are so helpful to the Illuminati. (This information comes from several witnesses who are informed about the blackmail files & their methods for blackmailing.)"
These people are already in power, and have set their system up so that nobody rises to a prominent, powerful, or influential position without being selected, extensively compromised, controllable, and usually under mind control. They are all 'in it together', and because of this they protect eachother. Most have 'insurance' on one another.
"
The most common phrase associated with that one was ‘talk about the pot calling the kettle black’, meaning that each Illuminati slave had been caught on camera and from an early age – doing something terrible – as Rimington was fond of saying ‘we are all as bad as each other and all in it together.’"
"
Oftentimes when I and others were prostituted to various government (New World Order) leaders, Dante had hidden cameras filming perverse sexual acts apparently for future blackmail leverage. These videos were scandalous in proportion and were usually ordered by Reagan. Dante turned the videos over to Reagan, and covertly kept copies to protect himself. Dante converted a small room of his Beverly Hills mansion into a security vault, where he kept his personal copies of the international blackmail porn tapes there. Blackmail was openly initiated to ensure that each criminal participant understood that if one fell, they all fell. Maintaining 'dirt' on each other through this Mafia-style method was seemingly the only way these criminals implementing the New World Order kept each other 'honest.'"
"
The Watergate break-in was strictly based on one thing - the pedophile records that were being kept at the Democratic National Headquarters."
- Detective James Rothstein (NYPD, Retired) [6]
"
In 1972, Rothstein arrested one of the five Watergate burglars, CIA operative Frank Sturgis. During a subsequent two-hour interrogation, Rothstein discovered the truth about Watergate (plus Sturgis’ and the CIA’s involvement in the Bay of Pigs incident, and the related assassination of JFK). Sturgis told Rothstein, the Watergate burglars sought something they nicknamed ‘The Book’ which listed the Democratic and Republican politicians who accessed child prostitutes, their sexual proclivities, the amounts they paid to rape kids, etc."
There are certain places known for this, two famous examples being Little St. James island or Bohemian Grove (there are many, many others).
"
For those of you who are interested in Bohemian Grove and the current list upon the Internet of those poor unsuspecting 'invitees' who will be pressganged into going (and subsequently blackmailed out of their minds afterwards, by the Illuminati)...the entrapment going on at Bohemian Grove is of an avaricious and esoteric nature - in relation to all of those unlucky 'invitees' who want to join this 'prestigious club' but then get videoed doing things that they wouldn't want anyone to know about - 'guests' who are then subsequently blackmailed out of their brains...and for the rest of their lives. But then that was what the Illuminati cult and their Sat B'hai contract has always been about...promising that you would get everything for nothing (if you agreed to be unquestioningly obedient to the Crown) and that you would now be part of an 'esoteric' prestigious Satanic club."
"
Numerous videos are covertly produced at the supposedly secure political sex playground in northern California, Bohemian Grove. High tech undetectable cameras use fiber optics, and fish-eye lenses were in each of the elite club's numerous sexual perversion theme rooms. I was programmed and equipped to function in all rooms at Bohemian Grove in order to compromise specific government targets according to their personal perversions. 'Anything, anytime, anywhere with anyone' was my mode of operation at the Grove. My perception is that Bohemian Grove serves those ushering in the New World Order through mind control, and consists primarily of the highest Mafia and U.S. Government officials. Project Monarch mind controlled slaves were routinely abused there to fulfill the primary purpose of the club: purveying perversion. Bohemian Grove is reportedly intended to be used recreationally, providing a supposedly secure environment for politically affluent individuals to 'party' without restraint. The only business conducted there pertained to implementing the New World Order, through the proliferation of mind-control atrocities, giving the place an air of 'Masonic Secrecy'. The only room where business discussions were permitted was the small, dark lounge affectionately and appropriately referred to as the Underground. The wooden sign was carved to read: 'U.N.DERGROUND'. My purpose at the Grove was sexual in nature, and therefore my perceptions were limited to a sex slave's viewpoint. As an effective means of control to ensure undetected proliferation of their perverse indulgences, slaves such as myself were subjected to ritualistic trauma. Slaves of advancing age or with failing programming were sacrificially murdered 'at random' in the wooded grounds of Bohemian Grave, and I felt it was 'simply a matter of time until it would be me'. Rituals were held at a giant, concrete owl monument on the banks of the Russian River. These occultish sex rituals stemmed from the scientific belief that mind-controlled slaves required severe trauma to ensure compartmentalization of the memory. I witnessed the sacrificial death of a young, dark-haired victim at which time I was instructed to perform sexually 'as though my life depended upon it'. I was told, 'The next sacrifice victim could be you.' The club offered a 'Necrophilia' themed room to its members. I was so heavily drugged and programmed when used in the 'necrophilia' room, that the threat of actually 'slipping through death's door' and being sacrificed 'before I knew it' did not affect me. Other perversion theme rooms at the Bohemian Club included what I heard Ford refer to as the 'Dark Room'. When he not so cleverly said, 'Let's go to the Dark Room and see what develops,' I understood from experience that he was interested in indulging in his perverse obsession for pornography. In the Dark Room, members had sex with the same mind-controlled slave they were viewing in porn on a big screen television. There was a triangular glass display centered in a main through way where I was locked in with various trained animals, including snakes. Members walking by watched illicit sex acts of bestiality, women with women, mothers with daughters, kids with kids, or any other unlimited perverse visual display. I was once brutally assaulted by Dick Cheney in the Leather Room, which was designed like a dark, black leather-lined train berth. There was a room of shackles and tortures, black lights and strobes, an opium den, ritualistic sex altars, a chapel, group orgy rooms including poster beds, water beds, and 'kitten' houses. I was used as a 'rag doll' in the 'toy store,' and as a urinal in the 'golden arches' room. From the owl's roost to the necrophilia room, no memory of sexual abuse is as horrifying as the conversations overheard in the Underground pertaining to implementing the New World Order. I learned that perpetrators believed that controlling the masses through propaganda mind manipulation did not guarantee there would be a world left to dominate due to environmental and overpopulation problems. The solution being debated was not pollution/population control, but mass genocide of 'selected undesirables'."
News 'headlines' with hidden symbolic communication are also used by intelligence and other groups, many times referring to blackmail (among the many other varieties of covert operations).
"
'Nuclear' is a comm used all over the world to symbolize extraordinarily explosive information, like blackmail. Which is why if we reconcile blackmail with news about nuclear, a secret truth will become clear. The two most powerful blackmailers ever? That would probably be Jeffrey Epstein and Hugh Hefner. And this is why the deaths of blackmailers like Hugh Hefner and Jeffrey Epstein both coincided with 'Nuclear Accidents':"
08/09/2019 Is Putin covering up a Nuclear disaster? - 08/09/2019 = Russia Hides a Nuclear Accident!
- 08/10/2019 = CIA Blackmailer Epstein Dead
- 09/26/2017 = Russia Hides a Nuclear Accident!
- 09/27/2017 = CIA Blackmailer Hefner Dead
09/26/2017 Nuclear explosion kept secret by Russia "
Why are CIA blackmailers dying the day after Russia declares nuclear accidents? The reason for the -1 day in Epstein’s case is they likely died before the official day, and these comms were to give agents a heads up on the upcoming BOOM before it hits papers. In Hefners case they had to signal people to move the blackmail. The point as stated is a lot of 'nuclear' is all about blackmail. Not all of it, but a lot of it."
- "Symbolic Communication" [9]
Blackmail is a worldwide 'practice', with all countries and their governments engaging in aquiring and utilizing it to the fullest.
"
Just as the 1986 Mirano scandal, the X-Dossiers contain evidence that sexual blackmail operations, whoever is running them, are not limited to the United States. In 1996, X1 reported how the same activities had been going on in Brussels."
"
As the bewildered Belgians tried to make sense of what was going on, incredible rumours began circulating that Dutroux might have been protected in some way, that he had friends in high places. Pornographic videos taken from his home were said to feature prominent individuals, one a senior member of the Roman Catholic church. It almost defied belief. Who would protect a psychopath, other than people with something truly terrible to hide?...'It is quite obvious,' said Katarin de Clercq, Belgian coordinator of the pressure group End Child Prostitution Abduction and Trafficking, 'that some people were protecting Dutroux. The government tried to convince us that he was a lone serial killer and psychopath, but now we hear stories about unnamed famous personalities being involved in sex orgies and blackmail and pornographic video tapes. People feel that something is completely wrong here and we have to show we will not tolerate it.'"

"
I was unfortunate enough to attend the IHS Templar Castle rite in 2001. Amongst the people in attendence were: J. K. Rowling. Gordon Brown. David Miliband. Stephen Daldry. Stella Rimington (she was the Dr. Mengele of the organisation, organising the torture and murder of kidnapped children). Dr. Joanne Collie. Andrew Marr (he spent most of the time naked and screaming - off his head on some form of narcotic). John Scarlett (he was so drunk/drugged up that he had very little idea of what was going on around him). The Templars had captured a large amount of people whom they called the 'snakes' i.e. slaves in a large dungeon underneath the castle. One brave person managed to set them free and the result in the neighbouring village of Mons and other places nearby, ensured that the British Army had to move in. Thus began the most incredible cover-up in recent European history. It was like WACO, Guyana. I was one of the 'slaves' taken at that castle but subsequently freed by the British Army (who also know what happened - a MASSIVE cover-up). The British Army ordered those in the Castle to come out. They then sent a tank in to bulldoze the walls. Prince Philip and Prince William were in that Castle. Both of them had murdered countless tiny children in their rites. The British Army assembled watched as both walked out with large, dark, woven potato sacks over their heads. They were then bundled into a van and driven away. The name SPUDNIKS was coined because Prince Philip and Prince William had to exit the castle with potato sacks pulled down over their heads and bodies. The British Army present at the time - may or may not have had any idea who they were but the SIS general there, certainly did. They might have managed to cover it up regarding the ordinary soldiers there but the videotapes are now on sale worldwide. The whole event had been closely monitored for blackmail purposes."
The CIA also blackmails incestual/pedophilic parents for their children to use in trauma-based mind control slave projects like
MONARCH.
"
My Uncle Bob, also implicated in manufacturing the porn, out of apparent desperation informed my father of a U.S. Government Defense Intelligence Agency TOP SECRET Project to which he was privy. This was Project Monarch. Project Monarch was a mind-control operation which was 'recruiting' multigenerational incest abused children with Multiple Personality Disorder for its genetic mind-control studies. I was a prime 'candidate,' a 'chosen one'. My father seized the opportunity as it would provide him immunity from prosecution."
"
The expendables are the children of parents who were blackmailed into turning their children over to the CIA. This is all hidden by the power of the National Security Act. These are children, who have been sold by pedophile fathers, or pornographic parents. The programmers/masters program them with the expectation that they will be "thrown from the freedom train" when they get to age 30. (Freedom Train is the code word for the Monarch trauma-based mind-control. To be thrown from the Freedom Train means to be killed.) The CIA and the Illuminati are skilled at blackmailing parents to give up their children. They would watch the mail for porn. Pedophile and murderers who abuse their children are warned that they will go to prison for long lengths of time if they do not cooperate by selling their children into mind-controlled slavery. In return for the parent’s cooperation, they provide rich financial rewards to the parent(s). It’s clearly a case of 'if you don’t cooperate you lose in life big time, if you do cooperate you win big time.'"
Blackmail is the glue holding all of the sick people in charge together, one of the top methods of control.
This is the truth. Blackmail, pedophilia, and mind control are how this world is really run. "
Former CIA director William Colby giving advice to John DeCamp, urging him to quit his investigations into the Franklin child abuse affair:"
"
'What you have to understand, John, is that sometimes there are forces and events too big, too powerful, with so much at stake for other people or institutions, that you cannot do anything about them, no matter how evil or wrong they are and no matter how dedicated or sincere you are or how much evidence you have. This is simply one of the hard facts of life you have to face.'"
- The Reality of Protected Child Abuse Networks [11]
"
Again, it’s built in, entrenched foxes guarding the predatory henhouse that permeate all levels of government, military, courts, law enforcement, entertainment and news media, corporate global finance and education. With pedophile puppet masters controlling the pedophile puppet strings of blackmailed, compromised and controlled Western politicians, courts and law enforcement, their diabolical infrastructure has afforded them living above the law continuing to rape and kill our innocents for centuries."

2023.06.01 22:58 PragmaticGeriatrics The New-To-Me FRS, and the quest for acceptable
I just picked up a black 2013 single owner FR-S with 75,000 miles for a reasonable price. I live in Madison, took a bus to Chicago to pick it up after having Lemon Squad check it out(fairly disappointed in them). It had been maintained by the owner, but has some smaller issues that I will be taking care of over the coming weeks. I am starting this post to document the issues I fixed, and get the opinion of the forum on some issues that come up.
First group of "repairs" - driving home I noted a significant, rhythmic vibration that was very notable above 70mph. There is also a burning oil smell that is most notable when going slower, or creeping forward in traffic. On arriving home I found that the front passenger side wheel, and rear drivers side wheel each had only 4 lugnuts on. My fault for not noticing when I picked up the car( I assumed something like this would have been noted on the inspection I paid for), but this gives an idea of the corner cutting the car has been experiencing for the past several years. Breaking free the lugnuts, it was obvious that they were over-torqued, and the studs had never seen anti-seize. I had to repair the threads on one of the studs, but otherwise had no issues switching over to some RPF-1s I had from my WRX, and luckily kept the lugnuts that fit those wheels from before. This got rid of the vibration, but I now notice a creaking/clicking noise from the rear drivers side suspension that I haven't figured out yet. The tires are a few year old hankook V12s, and the car was hilariously tail happy until the glaze wore off.
I also did the H9 conversion for the main beams, and had to replace a turn signal bulb to get rid of the hyper-fast turn signal rate.
the source of the burning oil smell seems to be from a oil leak on the rear of the engine block on the passenger side. a little googling led me to find out this was a cylinder head cover plate that commonly leaks oil. Rather than rely on RTV again, I got an aftermarket billet cover from nameless performance, which I will put on next week. I will also replace the PCV valve and hose, as that has never been replaced, and I suspect that this is part of the issue with the leaking.
Issues that I have found but haven't decided what to do yet.
- loud wind noise from passenger side window, the vertical front window gasket(between the triangle and main window) is very loose and I suspect this is the issue. Im not sure how I plan to fix it, but it will likely involve a heat gun and clamps.
- the black plastic part of the drivers visor that clicks into the hook on the roof cracked off and it bounces everywhere when Im driving. I might just warp that in electric tape, but It might be worth the 50 dollars to just replace the whole piece.
- the buttons next to the dash dont work at all(odo, Kph/Mph/Display). I havent found anyone talking about this issue, the part isnt super expensive, but Im not sure it is the buttons, and not sure how to test where the fault is.
- look into the creaking/clicking sound from the drivers rear suspension
- need a place to put my cell, where do people mount their phones in these cars?
issues my inability to call good enough alone will drive me to do
- Im planning on looking at the throttle body to see if it needs to be cleaned
- I doubt the spark plugs have been replaced, so that will be done this summer as well
- replace the oil and filter
- the owner reported changing the rear diff and tranny fluid in the past 20k miles, will likely replace it in the next several months anyway just to be sure
- brake fluid was done in the last 2 years, and pads look like they are fine. Rotors are surprisingly good(light car I guess). will probably do all of that next year.
- the air intake box is cracked where the tube from the front enters it. I should replace it, but it really only means a bit more hot air is entering the filter. I read that Cold air kits really dont benefit these cars, and I would rather not drop a few hundred on that right now
- the car came with K-Sport coilovers, I will likely put them on or have them put on this summer as well. they likely have less than 20k miles on them. the prior owner took them off for being too stiff for chicago roads. the current springs are pretty harsh, so Im a little hesitant to try the coilovers out.
- the doors do not stay open, I will eventually replace the door stays, but dont want to take the door panels off more than necessary to avoid breaking any tabs. would likely put in some sound deadening material at the same time when I do.
im sure more will come up, and I will document this. Also if anyone is in the madison area and is interested in some 18x7.5 drag wheels with worn out tires on them I would be willing to sell them at a very reasonable price.
1st update:
replacing the rear axle nuts and torqueing to 160 ft/lbs has fixed the clicking noise. thank you
Blackcat300 for that recommendation. I didnt know that was an issue, it is a great example of not knowing what you dont know. tried heatgunning and clamping the gasket at the rear of the triangle window to reduce wind noise. I am waiting to get it on the highway to see if that fixed it. I am not optomistic given the continued gap I see there. the part is pretty expensive, and I think I would likely fuck up the windows fine tuning if i tried to change it, so it might lead to more problems than the wind noise I have.
I replaced the cam cover with the nameless performance billet cover. It was definitely the source of the leak. The removal was really easy, cleaning the RTV was a bit of a pain, and not having a 6mm hex head socket made the install of the new gasket a pita. There is a 1mm gap between the cover and the block so I'm a bit nervous, as I didn't put any silicon on the part to test it. I went to harbor freight to buy a cheap set of hex sockets, and had no oil leaking present, but I will see how it holds up.
Replacing the pcv valve and hose tomorrow and taking a short road trip to test everything out.

2023.06.01 02:01 Aggravating_Iron55 “Normal” leak or new engine time?
2013 SE 2.0T, just hit 90k miles last week. Car was manufactured in mid ‘13 and it wasn’t registered by the first owner until November 2013, so in theory the 10 years are up this November. I’m the second owner, but I understand Hyundai has been honoring the engine replacement, regardless of what owner it’s on. It’s had every necessary recall done as well as the steering coupler service bulletin this past winter, I asked them to give it a once-over while doing that at the stealership and the tech didn’t say anything was out of the ordinary. I will say I don’t exactly granny it since buying in 2017, but I noticed my oil was pretty low before my last oil change. Been 3k since last change on partial-Synthetic (Valvoline Ultra-life, recommended interval 5k miles) and it’s halfway between the full and low marks on the dipstick. Are leaks of this nature in anyway related to the notorious failures associated with these motors or am I just the victim of a leaky gasket or timing cover due to age and dogging on it regularly? submitted by Aggravating_Iron55 to sonata [link] [comments]
2023.05.31 21:47 unwisemoocow Advice needed
I have the opportunity to buy a 2014 chevy cruze. It has 101k miles and the guy who owns it is my dads friend and he has never had major issues with it. He has taken good care of it, and has jumped on all of the recalls. It looks almost brand new and they are said to last until 200k. Looking at reveiws there are more positive then negative reveiws, but the negative reveiws are pretty bad. All of the issues that come with the lemons with the bad reveiws happen before 100k and this one is at 100 with minimal issues so I think im safe. It had a 100k tune up and hes selling it for 4.5k. I have very little experiance with cars but this seems pretty solid for the price.

2023.05.31 18:55 isabellagigio Need Advice on Car
I initially went to take my care in for a simple oil change and tire rotation. The place I took it to changed the oil, but said there was an oil leak and there were problems with my tire (one was put on backwards and one had a gash) so they couldn’t do the tire rotation. They then gave me a list of things I needed to fixed and quoted me $1,187.97. • Mount and balance 2 tires • 4 wheel alignment • Valve cover gasket remove and replace • Engine clean and degrease w/ dye • Brake fluid flush • Drain and flush cooling system
I was skeptical of this because they didn’t explain anything to me they just sent me on my way. This place was right next to my housing at my university and I wouldn’t be surprised if they tried ripping other college kids off. My car didn’t show any signs of anything wrong that I knew of. I went to a second place for a diagnostic and they told me I needed this done:
• Tire rotation and adjustment of tire pressures • Four wheel alignment • Axle shaft assembly remove and replace
Quoted: $554.91
I went to a third and last place that was highly recommended to me by some locals because I had two different responses on what my car needed to have fixed and they thoroughly explained to me that I needed these things to be fixed (in order from most recommended to least):
-Alternator and a/c belts, belt tensioners, and belt idler pulleys $761.68+tax -Brake booster vacuum pump (engine oil leak) $912.43+tax -Driver side axle shaft $405.42+tax -Driver side axle shaft seal $160.90+tax -Passenger side axle shaft $418.27+tax -Passenger side axle shaft seal $160.92+tax -Brake system fluid service $170+tax
I have little knowledge on cars and the last place I took it to seemed honest, but the costs of everything is a lot and may not be worth it in the end. My car is a 2013 Volkswagen Golf so it’s going on year ten. This was my dad’s car until he gave it to me before I went off to college about two years ago. There’s been problem after problem. The car is paid off so I might be looking towards selling it and getting something more reliable if the costs of getting something better outweighs paying $1000+ to get it fixed. The last mechanic said I shouldn’t drive more than 20 minutes at a time until I get it fixed so I’m hoping to get some advice on this issue soon. My dad and I are thinking of getting just the Ac belt, Belt tensioner, and Belt idler pulley worked on/fixed/replaced and calling around to see who can do it at a better price. I’d really appreciate hearing your guys’ opinions and feedback on this! Thanks :)
