So I’ve been with my partner for 8 years and I always struggled with PTSD due to being the victim of an armed robbery. Moving in together 1 year later into it, I filed to sui the company for negligence. we managed to buy a property with my TPD insurance for deposit from my super for the home which totalled most of the mortgage itself.
I’ve recently been compensated for my damages claim and will have to pay the remainder of the house with some of that. We have reached the conclusion that we don’t work being together and want to move on with our lives. He has been, can and is working atm paying the mortgage and rates .. I haven’t been able to due to the permanent impairment I have been diagnosed with. How the heck would this negotiation go separating from him? Would I have to go halves right down the middle with him in everything my money has gone into it given I won’t be working again and have no super yet he can work up until retirement? 2023.06.09 10:04 Equivalent-Ad-1148 [England] How to prepare for a divorce and removing my name off birth certificate?
Thank you in advance but I just wanted to get some quick advice before speaking to a solicitor on Monday. I've been married for 3 years and have a 2 year old daughter, something has always niggled me as her skin tone is noticeably darker than mine or anyone in my family and my wife is very very white. As she's got older it's become even clearer to me that she is probably not my daughter. I checked on the .GOV site for approved DNA testers and sent off for two, each taken about 2 weeks apart and the last one's results came in and she is not my daughter. My wife has no idea and I haven't spoken to anyone on either side of the family about it, I have always kept my suspicions to myself.
My question is, what is the best way to prepare for divorce and separating completely as well as having myself removed as the father on the birth certificate? My wife does not work and is a "home-maker", she hasn't worked since we met. Our house is my late mother's house with no mortgage and only my name on the deed, it is a substantial asset and I'd prefer not to sell it or move out of it as it's where I grew up and is in a wonderful location. I understand no judge is going to make a child homeless so I'm not sure what the steps would be.
We have a shared bank account which I pay into monthly for her expenses and upkeep for the house, otherwise she has no earnings herself. She has her own car that I have paid for me which I'm happy for her to keep, same with the shared account which should total all in about about £50,000. I've got a quite high salary and a very good pension pot that I pay into but won't be accessing for at least 30 years. I also have other assets which I inherited from my parents but I'm unsure whether we split those or not as Google gives conflicting answers.

In the mine of Annesburg there is this riddle of the Bennett brothers. I know it leads to the house and the treasure map in the fireplace. The only thing I don't understand is the different spelling of the name. Why one Bennet and one Bennett? Bennet is also written with a T on the cross by the grave. On Gideon Bennett's wanted poster, which is hanging at the train station in Annesburg, it is again written with a double T. Why is that ? submitted by RDR2germany to reddeadredemption2 [link] [comments]

2023.06.09 10:03 samk115 Sediment Filter help?
We own a rural property with rainwater collection as our primary water source.
The system uses a lift pump to pump water from the external tank up to a header tank on the 2nd story and is gravity fed from there.
Our drinking water is filtered already, however I would like to install a sediment filter somewhere between the tank and the lift pump. I was thinking something along the lines of a decent sized 10 micron filter would be suitable, but I am unsure if I should install it prior to or after the pump.
If prior, I was worried it may effect the pumps suction (it is a constant flow/constant pressure centrifugal pump) however on the outlet side I wad worried it could effect the pumps performance to keep up with demand in the house if for example someone is in the shower whilst the level sensor trips and needs to fill the header tank?
What is the correct or recommended way to go about this job?

2023.06.09 10:03 Particular-Two4964 (m25) caught my gf(f23) in a lie about her whereabouts one night what should I do?
One night last week she told me she was going to the store and going home, proceeded to text me when she got home and whet ghost for an hour and texted me an hour later saying she was on the phone with her mother acting as a therapist for her problems and gave me in depth details about her conversation. Turns out tonight, I caught her texting one of her guy friends and went through her phone to find out she went to his house that night (others were supposed to go but bailed) and had a drink and talked. She proceeded to get home around 12 and called me. She had a short term thing with this guy but never worked out and both agreed on a friendship since they rock climb together. Their conversations have a lot of “bro” in it. Anyways, while i was pissed I managed to get a hold of him by phone (he knows who i am as i was mentioned in conversation) I basically explained to him what i found out and was asking him to come clean and tell me what happened and pleads that nothing was going on. She states the reason why she lied about it is because she didn’t want me to dump her over over her hanging with her friends. Im honestly on the fence about this, we’ve been dating for about a month and things are fucking amazing until i get hit with this about 6 hours ago. I care for her a lot and shes very apologetic about it but im on the fence about this whole thing. What should I do?

I've had Cherry on a couple islands, both as a starting villager and as an amiibo invite. On my account, her house interior is per usual; exactly what's described on Nookpedia for her ACNH house. But on another island, one belonging to a 12 yr old, look at her house! I can't find anything about it online. Does anyone know what is going on with this? The outside looks the same for both. Cherry was one of the first two villagers when this island was recently started. From the moment she had a house, it's looked like this inside.(Sorry if the second pic isn't the best, I had to snap a pic of the Switch Lite because the age restrictions don't allow sharing to socials, where I usually save pics from.) Cherry's house as it should be. Cherry's house on another island.

2023.06.09 10:02 Kwertydog I travelled to Jupiter’s moon Europa. You won’t believe what i found
On June 6th 2023 I was sent by NASA to go to Jupiter’s moon Europa, they didn’t tell us what ship we would use to get there or how much time it would take to get there. After a bit of talking they put me and my crew-mates on a ship and we were off. i thought it would take months maybe even years so i started watching TikTok to pass the time but it turns out we got there in just 5 minutes, i don’t know how thats possible but, it happened. We got off the ship and went down onto the surface with our spacesuits on, we drilled a hole big enough for us to slide into and under the surface so we could reach the water underneath. Once we got to the water, we deployed our nanotech submarines provided by NASA. We explored the planet, searching for life but we found something that we weren’t supposed to see. It had big wings and gils that looked like caves, its teeth were the size of 500 Eiffel towers lined up one against the other and it had large antennas with lights on them that looked like stars in the night sky. We decided to explore some more so we sped off into the depths of Europa. We travelled allot for what felt like hours until we found something I never thought would be so close to us. There was a big continent under a hole, it was around the size of Africa so we decided to go down the hole. Once inside we deployed our parachutes and waited until we landed onto the surface. After what felt like hours we landed and we started exploring, we found out that there was breathable air on this continent so we could take our spacesuits off, the continent‘s temperature was around 77ºF, like a sunny day on Earth. We decided to look up into the sky and we saw 3 artificial suns. They looked as bright as the normal Sun, and felt like it too but we soon saw something mind-blowing in the horizon. After walking for an hour we found what looked to be like pyramids and they looked like the concept art for what the pyramids on Earth would have looked like if they were recently built. We didn’t see anyone so we decided to enter the pyramids. We entered the biggest on which from out point of view was the 2nd pyramid. The first thing we saw was two enormous entrances around the width of a normal Earth house. We decided to split up into groups of two and enter the doorways. We stayed communicated over coms, we walked for around 5 minutes where me and my crew-mate saw a gigantic dinner table with what looked like millions if not billions of people sitting and eating. Even though I couldn’t see the entire room because it was so large, the visible area of this room looked like it was bigger than the pyramid itself, the food there was served by flying robots that went around the table at unimaginable speeds. We only got to look at them for about 5 seconds before everyone in there stopped, the room went silent and they got up from their tables and came running at us. We ran out of there and deployed our submarines. We shot out of there at what seemed like light speed. We arrived at the ship but unfortunately my other two crew-mated didn’t, we used the phone on the ship to call the team that sent us there and tell them they need to bring us back, they gave us some instructions on how to set the route, the destination and the speed. Before we knew it we were back where we started from but, something felt, off. The informant told us that we had travelled for 3 days in what felt like 5 hours, we told the informant everything we saw and he told us to not tell this to anyone. I’m still wondering if I should post this

2023.06.09 10:01 Odd_Sock8781 Buying decisions
I specifically created this account because I'm just lurking around this sub, but I was wondering about one thing.. Buying "stuff".
Started out as a IT freelancer at the beginning of the year and you often hear that to optimize taxes, you should spend money to things that will bring value (broad term, I know. Your 77" OLED 4k HDR TV isn't though) to the company. So most self-employed people spend money on stupid thing just for the sake of it.
Once you have the necessary equipment (laptop, phone, mobile subscriptions, desktop, screens) etc. What the hell do you do with the remaining money if you are not willing to buy other stuff? Yeah I could optimize the money by buying stuff for the house like a new smart thermostat because I WFH, or buy that 500 euro coffee machine. We often get caught up with that type of stuff and it frankly makes me feel uncomfortable. Personal opinion, I know. Without wanting to scream into your face THINK ABOUT THE ENVIRONMENT ofcourse.
So my question: how could I optimize my money without spending it on "stuff"? Or is it just the way it is within Belgium that you'll just get more taxed.

2023.06.09 10:01 imsosad_throwaway I believe my mother is an animal abuser.
TW: animal abuse, hoarding
So... well, I don't even know where to begin. I am 25 and I am currently low-contact with both my parents, especially my mother. I haven't visited home in months and I dread the day I will have to.
There are lots of things that disturb me about my mother, but I want to specifically talk about the relationship she has with animals and I am looking forward to your opinion. My mother has 11 animals in total in her house: 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 parrots, 2 turtles and 1 fish. Keep in mind that she lives in a first floor apartment with no garden or whatsoever. She has never let her dogs out, apart from yearly vet visits. She always claimed that letting them out will make them dirty so she just decided not to. She also never potty-trained them, which means that they pee and defecate all over the house, everyday. They will also pee on the sofa sometimes, and though she somehow cleans you can clearly smell the stench if you sit down. She also never trained the cats and parrots to get along. This is why another parrot of hers was killed by one of the cats. The other two are visibly stressed since the cats try and attack them on daily basis; they pluck their own feathers, have scars because of the attacks, and one of them almost lost his eye. The litter-box her cats use is located in my brother's bedroom. Yes, this means that he wakes up in a room that smells of cat urine. The fish is also kept in a very small bowl. She posted a picture online and someone pointed out that a small bowl isn't adequate and she threw a fit.
As I am telling you this, I know that this is not normal. But, the abused part of me still thinks I'm over-exhaggerating, that I'm just sensitive and that I have no right to judge her. Please tell me what you think.
Also, I have no animal service to speak to in the city where she lives, trust me I would if there was any possibility. I couldn't even speak to someone about my situation when I was a child, let alone her animals' situation.
