Hello! I’m a high school IBDP student looking for teenage diabetic individuals willing to participate in the data collection of my Internal Assessment (IA). I am also a teenage diabetic so this study is very important to me.
I will examine how well continuous glucose monitoring (CGM, for example Libre sensors) systems regulate glycemic control (ability to keep blood glucose levels stable) in young people with type 1 diabetes. The study would need the participants to record their blood glucose before and after each meal and before they go to sleep. This process will keep going for 30 days, the data will be collected using a logbook. I assure you that no one will have access to your data other than me and the IB teachers/examiners.
You don’t need to be a CGM user to participate, I will need to take some data from non-users as well. Moreover, if you already have previous readings of a full month that would be alright too and there will be no need to fill out a new logbook.

I check all my bags before I put them in my cart at Dollar Tree. I've taken several bags off the shelf lately, inspected the window and found them to have wet rot. One time I went to pick up a bag and my thumb poked right through the bag and got covered in nasty black mold (must compromise the integrity of the plastic somehow). Just now I was transferring to a ziploc for my ziploc tek and the new/just opened Savy Fare had a spot where the plastic broke and then a patch of black mold on the brick of rice inside corresponding to the break. Just wanted to share my experience. I'll be going back to using Aldi.

Idk if many people have done research into it, but I definitely have and a lot of the things that I learned about him were appalling me. Makes it understandable why ABA had such a bad reputation for so long until things started changing for the better in recent years. Although things have changed, there are still bad clinicians, technicians, and people in this field who have the same mindset that Lovaas did. We still have a long way to change. Take the Judge Rotenburg Center for one.
In my research about him, I learned that he promoted electric shock to make autistic kids become neurotypical again. Not only did he focus on what ABA is mainly known for today, which is helping these individuals gain skills and live a better quality of life just the way they are, he believed autistic people weren't even people. He even said:
"You see, you start pretty much from scratch when you work with an autistic child. You have a person in the physical sense – they have hair, a nose and a mouth – but they are not people in the psychological sense. One way to look at the job of helping autistic kids is to see it as a matter of constructing a person. You have the raw materials, but you have to build the person.”
Not only was he involved in just "treating" and "curing" autism. He was also involved im the Feminine Boy Project which focused on demonstrating reinforcement control over pronounced feminine behaviors in a male child who had been psychologically evaluated as manifesting “childhood cross-gender identity”. He studied side by side and co-authored studies with George Rekers and inspired many of the approaches (including electric shock) he used against autistic children to cure homosexuality and transsexualism in children. On one of their first studies on children with atypical gender behaviors, their subject was a 'feminine' young boy named Kirk Murphy who was homosexual by 4 years old at the inception of treatment, which they claimed to be a success as the boy was "cured". Kirk Murphy committed suicide as an adult and the suicide was attributed to the gay conversion therapy treatment done by Rekees and Lovaas. Following Murphy's suicide, his sister told the news that she read his journal which described how he feared disclosing his sexual orientation because when receiving the behavior modification treatment as a young boy, his father would beat him severely if he was given a different color "poker chip" as punishment for feminine-like behavior such as playing with dolls.
The history of ABA and conversion therapy is not talked about enough honestly and it makes me feel sick to know this side of history went unacknowledged. I'm not anti ABA, I'm an RBT. I even taught my BCBA most of this because she didn't know about it let alone studying ABA so extensively. Crazy.

Ive been maní NG ice Cream for a while, but i find it takes a lot of work when it comes to use eggs, ive been thinking in replace it with coconut oil or cocoa butter and an emulsifier, do you find any real difference when it comes to taste with an ice Cream Made with eggs?

Recently I saw the lands [[Cloudpost]] and [[glimmerpost]] and immediately saw a meme deck waiting to happen by spamming these. The only problem is that those are the only two locus lands. However they are not legendary so there can be multiple.
My ingenious idea that will totally work. Make them creatures and then copy them for big mana. Now my question to you, any other tech I might want to use I realized I can’t only go for that to make big mana so I have filters and other lands that would benefit from having more of them to make it more of a theme with cloudpost being the star. Hi,
first of all, sorry for the throwaway, obvs. reasons. Other than that, let me make this clear - I consider myself to be feminist, as in men and women are equal. Now to the point...
I have nothing against women in general. As I stated before - I believe that all genders are equal, and I have always treated anyone by their personality and skills, not their gender. However, over the last two or three years, I have noticed a trend among women in my social circle - they are starting to treat me as something less, just because of my gender. I feel like I'm constantly being an outsider.
I first noticed this over a game of monopoly some time ago - there were four of us, and I was the only guy. Nobody wanted to cooperate with me, as if I was just an NPC or something. We haven't played before, I wasn't winning or anything, and when I asked why, I got replies such as "women power". Huh? Then I noticed that leaving me and the few males of our group out of the "important" stuff became more and more often. Secrets, talking to themselves, not letting us "in". I actually have no idea why they were hanging out with us at this point.
I started to see a pattern in this - excuses regarding sexism, when there was none, congratulating themselves on achievements based on them being girls, basically making their gender their whole personality. And also calling themselves "feminists", but not respecting other genders.
These days, I start to grind my teeth whenever I hear any girl talking about feminism. My internal red flag detectors start buzzing. I'm quite sure I won't be able to talk to them for long.
I haven't spoke to those girls for a few months now, and I feel quite good. But since we've known each other for a long time, I still do care about them, I just feel I can't stand them any more. But I want to.
Reading this, I feel like I can't put all of my feelings down on paper, but not only I can't stand them, but I fear this is starting to root deeper and deeper in me.
Please help.

I try to gain weight so I’m not anorexic, and am actually attractive and taken seriously on a romantic level as a guy. Nothing works. I can’t afford food, don’t have room to store enough food, and cannot gain weight even if I seriously tried. My arms are like sticks, and I’ve been skinny my entire life. It also doesn’t help that I have no other friends to keep me motivated.
I try to work on my hygiene but have a noticeable underbite that makes me look like a fucking meth addict. Most attractive men have perfect teeth and don’t have a lower jaw that protrudes out like a fucking animal. I can’t afford to fix this, which creates yet another objective reason why I’m not attractive.
Thirdly, I have extremely dry, wrinkly skin that makes me look 10x older than I actually am. I’ve tried using products and I’ve tried making other lifestyle changes but nothing has worked. Yet again a major thing holding me back. In addition, my hair is thick and impossible to style. When it grows out, it simply poofs out to an Afro and looks hideous.
These are not excuses. These are fundamental objective truths about my life that would not exist if I were born attractive. I’d have such a happier life and be able to fulfill my most basic sexual needs without an INHUMANE degree of effort.
It hurts to see everyone I know seemingly capable of improving themselves and escaping FA with a little bit of money and six months, while I’ve been stuck in this same state of torture for my entire life. I never asked to have inferior genetics and to suffer like this.

I've thought up of couple things I think would neat if they ever appeared in XIV.
a) re-release old 8man Praetorium as a Savage/Ultimate raid. The place was dear to my heart
b) Norvrant housing: Lakeland/Crystarium/Il Mheg aesthetic is too goddamn great to not be used for a new housing district
c) Haukke's Manor: cleansing/repurposing the giant mansion in Central Shroud Firnament 2 style. You could travel to Western Shroud/Mor Dhona to gather mats (new Diadem essentially) and make use of the place. The endgame could be apartments or workshops.
I'm interested in any feedback on suggestions if this would be a good content as there's always room for improvement

Desperate Car Wife: A Journey in the Making (part.7)
My husband's next "victim" .... A golden brown 1997 Chevy K/1500 Extended Cab
I had a feeling he'd buy this truck at some point... A buddy of his owned it and he would always make comments and cash offers whenever he saw the truck. About 3 or 4 years later my hubby finally got his wish! I still remember the night we brought it home... Unfortunately, that same night, during the wee hours, some delinquent teens went around the neighborhood and were keying cars down our street! He parked it on the street since he had planned to wash it first thing.... Hub was up early the next day, so excited to have his new baby; ready to give her a good wash and start marking his "territory" with that good 'ol "JB Treatment".. We walked out and discovered the truck had been keyed all the way from the driver's side door to the rear fender!! I can't describe how super p@##ed off he was without using a list of colorful words, but I'm sure y'all can imagine... I'm just glad I was there to help calm him down; to this very day I truly feel that had he given into his anger, he would've gone off his rocker, and that day would've been much like that famous line from Liam Neeson in Taken!! But after about an hour of watching what looked like a crazy man, pacing back and forth, looking over and over at the nearly 7' long scratch, while cursing up a storm, he managed to calm down "somewhat" and immediately ran down to AutoZone... $150 later, he had what he needed to make it as invisible as possible. It was deep in spots; the entire scratch had passed through the top coat and in some areas it was all the way to the base paint :(
Over the next year, he went over the entire body with a clay bar, compound buffed, then waxed and polished... She was easily a 10 footer for sure! Eventually he found some wheels and bought matching tires.. (He has a thing about mismatched tires LOL) She was lookin' like a pretty nice truck, so shiny and new, nearly flawless on the outside.
Side Note: I remember one night, not too long after he finished all that hard work, we were bbqing at our friend's house; the one who sold us the truck. It was well after midnight when we were finally ready to leave, (hubby was highly intoxicated), I ended up having to pull the truck out first because a huge bush was on the other side where he had backed in too close and couldn't open the passenger side door. Well he was too drunk and way too tall to try to climb over the center console thru the driver's side, so he wanted me to pull the truck out and he'd just hop in. I was like "there are branches sticking out of the bush and I think I might scratch the truck"... I insisted my hubby just pull it out a little and then I'd take over. (if anyone was gonna scratch it, I'd rather it be him!) To give some insight: there was another car parked on the driver's side, giving me very little room to work with... But he refused and said he'd guide me.. Famous. Last. Words!!!! As soon as I started to pull away, I heard scraping sounds!!!! I stopped and was sooo upset because I knew it would happen! I thought for sure he would be so p@##ed at me for scratching it! I had tears, I felt so bad!! He had just finished getting that truck looking new again and the hours of labotime spent doing so... I couldn't stop sobbing, even when he, surprisingly, wasn't mad at all!! He actually blamed himself because he made me move it.. I blame the alcohol for his chill response!!! After repeated "sorry's" and "it's okay's".. we get home and he grabs his container of Mother's compound and starts buffing out the scratch.... Next morning I looked at the spot and to my excitement, the scratch was gone... it didn't go through the top coat!! Couldn't even tell that there was ever even a scratch!!!! \Wipes sweaty forehead* What a relief that was!*
Next came the.......... you got it! The Sound system! \ insert smirky laugh here LOL **
A slimbox would just not do.. he tried, but at this point in his obsession with bass style audio, he wanted more bass. Well for those of you that don't know, more bass means not only bigger subs and bigger boxes for those subs, you also need higher quality tweeters and mids with their own amp system plus crossovers, a powerful amp just for the bass, bigger batteries (yes, that's plural), a bigger alternator, fuses galore, expensive wiring , etc... Not only is that crazy expensive to do, but it also required him to eventually remove the bench seat. I had no clue to all of this till I started going with him more often to the car audio shops. Needless to say, I was not a happy wife when it came to the price tags... I was perfectly happy with decent sound and a small sub, but something so crazy loud wasn't that big of a deal to me, however, our bank account would say otherwise LOL ... it wasn't my daily driver, so I didn't really care other than the costs for everything... he just could never be happy with the sound and continuously changed out the subs, boxes, decks, you name it... he did it more than once over on everything! So that was the first strike to this truck and I... (I know it sounds a bit harsh for a 1st strike, but I wanted a nice family vacation, not bigger and bigger subs... Remember my "limits" motto??)
I liked driving it around town, though the driver's seat was broken in the upright position, so I had to drive with a pillow behind me. (Strike 2!!) It never bothered him because he's so dang tall, and I rarely drove it as it was, so the seat wasn't a priority... Then I took it on the freeway, the steering became very loose. I don't know how to describe how it felt to me, other than it felt like it was severely out of play... My hubby never seemed to have the same issue and always would reassure me that "it's just how the truck drives''... So he hasn't messed around with the steering column at all. Well, I don't trust it or feel safe in it, so I refuse to drive it. I have had to take it on the freeway a couple more times since then and I still hate driving it... it still felt way out of whack for me; taking curvy turns was the worst, I couldn't even keep it centered in my lane! Nerves shot and blood pressure at its highest.... Strike 3!!! I absolutely hate driving that truck!!! She is a pretty thing after a good waxing, but that's as far as I take a liking to her...
$10k later, including a rebuilt tranny and 2 DIY transfer case replacements, the truck is nearly perfect in my husband's eyes.... but then the poor thing falls to vandalism once again! :( :( :( Only this time it was 2 slashed tires and a broken windshield! This time we filed a police report! But of course nothing ever came of it, unfortunately.... It was easy to replace, but costly and getting no justice after being vandalized twice (parked in the driveway the 2nd time), left us feeling sour and foul mouthed.... Now we have cameras on the driveway and street! Regardless of the vandalism, there's always something needing to be replaced it seems... this truck feels like a money pit in my mind... strike 4...

i've had zishan z3, then xduoo x2, both sounded great but they wore down and broke pretty soon. Now im using ruizu x52 and its more built for sports. But the sound quality is really lacking. anyone have suggestions? just need it to be lightweight and durable and sound good, really dont need any other features at all.

• Case: Fractal Meshify, not the XL uhhh ATX? well it's big enough to house my 3070 lol with maybe 1-2 inches of space to spare.
• Monitor: GIGABYTE Ultrawide 1440p, the flat one, not the curved one.
• CPU: Ryzen 5600x
• GPU: 3070 8GB
• Mobo: Prime B550M-A
• RAM: 32GB 3200MHz DDR4 Corsair
• PSU: Seasonic 1000W or 1100W; I honestly can't remember.

Cooling:

• CPU: Some NZXT Liquid cooling AIO that I installed on my extra case fans from my fractal case because the NZXT fans were loud.
• Case: Be Quiet fans, the large ones. I don't know the size, but they are quiet.

Storage:

• P1 1TB NVMe
• 4TB HDD, it's green. I don't know the brand, but hey, it works.

I am considering upgrading to a 7900 XTX. I am concerned about my CPU bottlenecking.
What do I use my PC for? Mainly gaming. I have noticed that brand new games tend to utilize almost all or more of my GFX card's 8GB VRAM, which usually is fine. However, I have recently picked up the new hobby of occasional streaming, and it significantly impacts performance. In some cases, it even crashes OBS, possibly due to the lack of VRAM, as far as I can tell. Keep in mind that I do play on UW 1440p.
So, I would like to hear your thoughts on the following: What should I upgrade along with my future 7900 XTX? CPU? MOBO? DDR5 RAM? Ideally, I would only have to upgrade one or two more components in addition to the 7900 XTX in my current build.
OR. do I bite the bullet and just grab a 4080?

We have set out a marketing plan and roadmap on our website. This is based on real data, conversion rates and not just hype. We are focusing in on a steady upward trend and NOT a pump and dump. Please see below for a brief summary:
