I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this so forgive me and tell me where to go if it is not.
My girlfriend and I have been talking about moving in together. We live in Southeastern, PA just outside of Philly. It's just talk now and we're not planning on doing this any time soon (i.e., not within the next year) but I've been thinking about the financial and legal complications it might bring because of our circumstances. I'm just trying to plan ahead. Any advice would be appreciated. So, here's the situation:
I currently live in a condo that is in my name and I've been paying the mortgage on for 8 years since I moved in. My girlfriend lives alone in a bigger townhouse about an hour from me. Her parents own the property and bought it for her when she became legally disabled and could no longer work outside the house with the idea that she'd never have to worry about housing. We've talked about a lot of hypotheticals - she could move in with me (but my condo is way too small for two people and three cats between us), we could buy a place near me since I work at a local university (but financially, we'd never be able to afford something bigger than my current condo on one income and her disability payments), I move into her townhouse and commute to work.
The last option seems to be the most realistic and we've talked about that. I'm not sure what to do though. Since I bought my condo, I've never seen myself living somewhere where I was a "tenant" again. We've talked about getting lawyers involved to create a cohabitation agreement before we would do this. Her father, who owns her townhouse, is her lawyer which I thought would be worth mentioning. I'd have my own representation separate from him in this scenario, of course.
Has anyone ever dealt with this sort of scenario? If so, what am I missing or not thinking of?
I've also thought about keeping my condo as a rental/investment property if I do move into her condo. I've never have a property like that so any advice on how that works or what I'd need to know would also be appreciated.
I just want to be prepared if and when the time comes. Thanks!

I'm still pretty new to onebagging so pardon me if I sound like an idiot. I plan on going to New York, Washington DC for a week and a half and I think I am finally ready to sink a little money into this hobby. However, I need to also be able to use it for my commute to college in New Orleans and occasionally to the office for my remote job. Now anyone that has been to New Orleans knows why it needs to be water resistant (and if you don't it's because it can go from clear skies to pouring rain with little to no warning). I just wanted to say you know the current meta is bad and unhealthy when you (or your opponent) would rather instantly forfeit the match and go next than play out the game you queued up for when monsters like Scrap Recycler and/or Phantom Skyblaster hits the field. I'm just saying that the current meta is super unfun to play in and some games just feel like coinflip simulator to where whoever goes first with god-hand just auto-wins to where you can't do anything about it.
My point in making this post is, as a King of Games player myself, I'm honestly wondering what Konami can do to better balance the meta so games don't feel so boring, bland, and one-sided. I miss the days when YuGiOh was essentially like a tennis match, where both players have back and forth interaction, instead of just one player opening up their one card combo and proceeding to make a full board of beaters that you can't deal with and proceed to either OTK or have the player on the receiving end leave in two seconds out of spite of not being able to fight back. At this point, the app should just be renamed from Duel Links to "Master Duel Lite" due to the boards that the recent decks are able to set up in one turn.
My prediction for the top decks that'll probably be seeing a hit after this WCS? Most likely Orcusts and probably Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. Not sure if Odd-Eyes will receive an aggressive hit because it's still fairly new, but I can definitely see the Raging Pendulum skill getting nerfed with a hefty restriction on it to give players ample opportunity to fight back without feeling overwhelmed facing down a bunch of beaters turn one.
What are your guys' thoughts on this? Do you think the meta is in an unhealthy spot right now? What can Konami do to better balance things so matches don't feel so one-sided and unfair? I'll be reading all the comments so let me know!

This sub has really been amazing. I just watched the Fisher King based on the recent post. I remember it as a kid but wow what a good movie. Great story line, incredible performances all around. A really interesting and I think accurate take on homelessness and mental illness. Also really typifies the yuppy me culture of the time that is still prevalent today. I feel like unique thoughtful and interesting movies are so seldom made this day in age. Maybe it's Nostalgia but I love the New York sets and grit the movie conveys.
This is just one in a list of movies that this sub has brought into the light for me including The Whale, The Lighthouse and Syndoche New York among others.

My PA has been working on recovery and it’s been a rocky start. He got rid of all the triggering apps and deleted all his social media profiles. I make sure to monitor everything now as well.
Something clicked today and I can’t quite prove it yet but I can tell somethings up even with all the stuff we have in place.
I’m wondering if anyone has suggestions of what I might have missed or weird things to look for that I just might be oblivious to?
He keeps saying he’s staying up watching his favorite show in the evenings at work but his watch history on the app he logs into doesn’t show any progress for that show. It’s been the same episode and season for the last week. We share the service so I can see his profile and watch history whenever I login. He doesn’t know this yet, and I don’t plan on sharing anything. I sort of want to see where it goes.
One of his tells is when he talks a lot about something or shares lots of detail I know he’s lying. He knows I don’t watch the show or care to but he started rattling off today about the season finale. I think he needed to make sure I knew he was actually watching it. Thing is, I will sit through the work of verifying that shit down to the color of the shirt he might have described. He doesn’t even think that far so he just kept talking. Anyway, I watched the finale for myself. None of the shit he spent that rant explaining happened in that episode . It all happened in the episodes prior to and in the one his profile says he last watched. Which is halfway through the entire season.
I’ve pieced that part together now, but I can’t figure out what he’s doing during that time frame that isn’t actually watching the show. His screentime isn’t showing anything in the timeframe so I’m assuming it’s incognito but I need solid proof before he will admit to pretty much anything and work on it.
Another aha moment today was that I realized his work backpack was missing the towel he took for showers on the road(he’s a truck driver). It’s been missing for a bit, but I sort of let that slip under the radar I guess. He always had it just in case he was expected to have an extended trip and needed to wash up at the truck stop. I called him out for using socks to ejaculate into at work and I told him I never wanted to find that shit again. I’m thinking since I haven’t seen a sock in a long time, it’s got to be the towel now and he’s just been lying.
I will causally bring up the towel at some point and ask him to bring it home to launder. When it either doesn’t or he rushes to wash it before me I will know the answer to the MO at the very least. I just need to find out what the porn is.
Any clues or guesses?

My stepdad (46M) passed away peacefully this past Sunday morning after a 4 month battle with this terrible disease. I miss him terribly, but I am more so relieved that he is no longer suffering.
He was diagnosed in late January with two inoperable connected grape sized tumors on each side of his brain. The original symptom was that he had a seizure just as he pulled into his parking lot at work. Looking back, he had randomly developed symptoms of anxiety and paranoia a few weeks prior to the seizure. I find myself wondering how long ago the disease really started taking shape.
He was in hospital rehab for about a month before coming home and he had strengthened himself to the point where he could even walk again! He was discharged in late February and came home awaiting treatment which started a few weeks later. For a time it was almost normal. We made sure he laughed a lot.
He was uninsured, and the hospital social workers botched the Medicare application, but somehow we still managed to get care for him. After his first radiation treatment, within hours of it, he lost use of his legs. No strength to move or stand. This was our first sign that things were about to get bad.
On top of the obvious struggles with the disease, the things that came along with it were sometimes harder to watch. He was a victim of the Florida opioid epidemic. He was so proud of getting clean in 2011. He had quit smoking 6 months before getting diagnosed. The doctors did what they do and got him on pain killers. I understand why they prescribed them, it was just so hard to know that he relapsed for reasons beyond his control. I guess I’m glad he went out feeling as high as he wanted to be.
By mid March, his personality had completely changed. He was borderline catatonic, only asking for Wellington rolls (pain killers) or to start the car (a cigarette). Who were we to deny him of these things? It was the only way he could cope. His short term memory loss and aphasia were brutal.
My grandma had GBM. We thought we knew what were in for but this was so much worse. By April he had lost full arm strength. He was incontinent. He started declining treatment. I almost wish he had gone for palliative care right away instead, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to argue against his will to fight even if we knew it was a losing battle. If I could go back, I would have pleaded with him to pick quality of life over quantity.
Early May, we could tell it was getting close. He stopped eating for a time and eventually tried to get my mom to stop cleaning and changing him. We sent him to the hospital, they pumped him full of fluids and his personality returned! He was himself for Mother’s Day after his discharge but rapidly slipped again.
He developed a cold that put him back in the hospital. Somehow, after being pumped with fluids, he talked his way into full time hospice care at home. By the time he got home, he was in such a fog that he accused my brother of sending him home against will.
Last Monday, I went by his house. The family he truly loved was there and he actually popped in to say hello. We laughed with him and told him we loved him. He told us he was hungry and when we told him he had to have pudding or soft food because he couldn’t swallow, he called our bluff and slammed down a Burger King cheeseburger. He loved Burger King. I’m so glad he made one more appearance.
By Wednesday, he was unresponsive. I think he could still hear us though. On Saturday, I stopped by and held his hand and told him how lucky I was to have known him and how much of an impact he made on me. His eyes were fluttering and his mouth was somewhat moving. I told him I loved him and said it was okay.
I’m still struggling with how quickly and severely he deteriorated, but I am so glad he is at peace now. I don’t know what else to say. Thank you for being a safe space.

I've convinced myself that the ancient civilization were composed primarily of trilobites and the area that became Hollownest was initially underwater. Here's my logic and evidence:

• Evidence for trilobites

1. There's the obvious physical similarly between trilobites and the ancient bugs we see littered about. The ancient nailsmith, shade beast, green beast, and beast's den shrine thing are all segmented, have three body sections, and wide heads like a trilobite. Additionally, if the bug the temple of the black egg is made of is one, it looks a lot like a Ceratarges.
   
2. There's more than a passing similarly between the soul totems and trilobites (excluding the pale king and pure vessel). The attuned version of the void idol also is mighty similar to a trilobite.
   
3. A volvated trilobite looks a lot like an arcane egg.
   
4. Geo looks a heck of a lot like fossilized trilobites.
   
5. Their Civilization may have been underwater (se evidence below).
   

• Evidence for underwater

1. I think the biggest piece of evidence is the walls of the ancient basin, the spirals bear a remarkable similarity to ammonites, a form of ancient mollusk.
   
2. Along the same vein, as you ascend from the ancient basin to the higher areas (until about the lower areas of the waterways), the walls stop looking like ammonites and start looking more like generic shells. These could perhaps be Inoceramus. Though it's admittedly more of a stretch, it would follow a biostratographical similarly to their real-world fossil equivalents.
   
3. Worshipping the void. The bugs tend to worship things that give them life. Moths to the Radiance, Mosskin to Uun, etc. Perhaps the void was the source of their life. It is somewhat reminiscent of the product of a, "black smoker," hydrothermal vent, which bottom dwelers are known to hang around for life. The Olenidae trilobytes are even thought to have had a symbiotic relationship with a sulfur eating bacteria that would've lived near one (further supporting the trylobyte hypothesis). These vents are often found in the, "abyssal zone," of the sea bed. An abyss filled with black stuff... We also know that higher beings can become angry if their worship is removed (looking at you Radiance). It's possible that the void lashing out at beings is a manifestation of this behavior.

I'm sitting here missing him again, I can't say that I was a huge fan of him when he was alive, I discovered him just weeks before he passed but watching Technos videos saved me, when I discovered him I had just gotten out of a very mentally abusive relationship and my mental health was so bad, I couldn't sleep for days and one night I got on youtube and decided to put on one of Technos videos and just listening to his voice was so calming I was able to sleep. Everytime I got really upset Id just put on his video and it helped so much, I genuinely don't know how I could have made it without him. Just a few weeks later I saw that he uploaded a new video, when I watched the video I completely broke down, and even though he was gone I was able to watch old videos and calmed down. I feel guilt sometimes that I never discovered him sooner but even with that I owe Technoblade my life, watching his video truely saved me. Rest easy King 👑 o7

My father was an alcoholic for many years before I was born. My brother and sister are much older than me and grew up with him during his alcoholism. My mother for insight is the sweetest, most empathetic person who only thinks about others before her self. During their marriage the alcoholism affected everyone (except me as I wasn’t born) my father became very verbally abusive towards my family. The torment and trauma he caused them they still carry to this day. That was 20 some years ago and he’s been sober that whole time. He’s grown tremendously and while still has lots of issues we saw him become a different person. The father I grew up with versus my siblings is night and day difference.
Today I got a phone call from my mother. Her voice was shaky as she proceeded to tell me I needed to come home. The anxiety in her voice filled into my chest as she explained something was going on with my father. I jumped into my car and raced to her. On my way there I saw a text saying “I found beer”. When I got there he was so wasted that he couldn’t even tell we knew. He thought he was hiding it so well even after falling down stairs do to his intoxication. Once we confronted him he came clean and confessed. He didn’t fight or become defensive as he would have in the past, infact he owned it. But we also learned he has been hiding it for a year. A year of deceit, secrecy, and eluding. The question of whether he would’ve ever come clean or the thought that he chose to return to the life that hurt so many others had us devastated. I’m not sure where everyone in our family stands as far as how we are gonna proceed except that my mother left to stay in a hotel and is unsure whether or not she can stay in this relationship. I guess more than anything I’m unsure of my feeling’s except for the fact that I’m hurt. Anyone have any advice or similar experiences that might provide me with some insight?

This really puzzles me.
Dr Anderson testified that Depp and Amber abused eachother and that both Depp and Amber had admitted to hitting eachother.
Dr Banks said that Amber and Depp both acknowledged the violence in their relationship and that Amber was the victim.
Dr Anderson testified she saw multiple bruises on Amber's face after the Dec 15th fight but Depp's photos show he wasn't injured in the fight.
There are multiple other texts and audio recordings of Depp admitting to abusing Amber and texts from his PA saying he witnessed Depp kicking Heard.
How can abuse be mutual when one person is so much stronger than the other?
How can Depp be the victim in this scenario when his abuse if her pre-dates her abusing him?
And then there is all the evidence of how jealous and controlling he was. This is also abuse.
How can people claim Depp never abused Amber when he admitted it to multiple people?

I have attended every Fan Festival Event. In 2019, when Fan Fest was held in Unionville, Canada, I even got to see many of the locations utilized for the pilot episode.
