Weymouth is a city in the county of Dorset, UK. Be positive about Weymouth and comment or post things of interest. Surrounding towns such as Bridport, Dorchester and Poundbury also talked about and, of course, Portland too. It is a wonderful place to live and we will post some houses and flats for sale in this group so that you can see what the local architecture and housing market is like. Thank you to Austin Property Service, a great Estate Agents in Weymouth for helping to get us started.

2023.05.31 19:07 NHComrade [NH, USA] Company is suing me for a debt over five years old.

I was wondering if anyone had advice on this. When I first bought my house I got a security company (big name) and was paranoid so got cameras and all that. My mental health was bad then and as I got better I realized that not only did I not need these devices but also I didn’t get everything. So I called and cancelled and they said that I bought the equipment so I didn’t have to return anything.
Two years later I moved out of the country and have been back for three years. My house was flooded out during that time so they may have sent a letter and I never got it. But today I got a call from the county to schedule a document service. I called back and it went to a lawyers office and they said my number pulled up a case and I was being sued for 1,300 plus 2,000 legal fees by the company.
I read that the statue of limitations in NH was 3 years and it’s been probably 5 years at least.
Is that correct? What should I do about this? Can I reschedule this to a later date? Is this something I can fight without a lawyer?

2023.05.31 19:00 Future_Vehicle_8307 22 Blue in 2022: 'THE QUICK LIST'

22 Blue in 2022: 'THE LIST'

Build Supermajorities of Democrats in the US House and US Senate

Here’s “22 Blue in 2022: ‘A Quick List’”:
  1. Florida 2. Ohio 3. Kansas 4. North Carolina 5. Kentucky 6. Arizona7. South Carolina 8. Georgia 9. Texas 10. Michigan 11. Nevada 12. Pennsylvania13. Missouri 14. Wisconsin 15. Iowa 16. Arkansas 17. Oklahoma 18. Indiana19. Colorado 20. Alabama 21. South Dakota 22. North Dakota
The 2022 Midterm Election is the most important midterm of our lifetime.Democrats must behave as if our lives depend on this midterm, because our future depends on the outcome.
”We the people” must deny the Republican party political power at every level of government for decades to come “in order to create a more perfect union.” With 48 States having some statewide contest(s), November 8th, 2022 is our best chance the Democrats will get to do that for the rest of this decade, at least.
”The List” encourages the election of a Democratic Supermajority in the US Senate in 2022. This is the best chance we will have to create a Democratic Supermajority in both Chambers of Congress for the remainder of this decade. This midterm could be a devastating loss for the democrats if good patriots ignore this election. If Americans of good conscience band together instead, we could could begin the exile of the Republican party from power, not for years, but for decades to come.
“The List” is a set of suggestions about where to focus collective activism today.
The election of Democratic Supermajorities to both chambers of the US Congress is the best outcome we can strive towards in the 2022 Midterm Election for many reasons. Among them: breaking the decade of gridlock in Congress, supporting President Biden’s agenda, and his re-election in 2024. My personal favorite is that this could commence the decades-long political banishment of the GOP from power, which the Republican Party so richly deserves.
The Republican party has proved itself treasonous on many levels. They are traitors to Humanity by supporting Trump. Traitors to the Nation for supporting Putin. Traitors to the government and betrayers of the constitution through their apologies for the 1/6/21 insurrection. To safeguard our country and the world, we must block the Republicans from power at the ballot box, at all levels of government, for at least a generation.
Political game playing may be inevitable among humans. Change the numbers, and then change the rules, if not the game. Cynical refusal to play at this time in history cedes power to NAZIs manipulated by Active Measures. That is a surrender to crypto fascism, not radical thinking, mere cynicism, or hipsterism.
In 2022, Patriots must unify to crush the Republican Party at the ballot box. We can defeat them in every State, at every level. We need the biggest turnout at the voting booth of any Midterm ever. We need to raise more money for candidates and organizations than we did during the entire 2020 campaign season if we are to accomplish this. We need to do this in the next six months.
This is what a “Blue Tsunami” REALLY looks like.
Electing a Democratic Supermajority in Congress is our hope for the future and retribution for America’s enemies. “22 Blue in 2022” is a roadmap to the beginning of that journey. “22 Blue in 2022” is our war plan. ”22 Blue in 2022” is our electoral battle cry. “22 Blue in 2022” is a way forward out of gridlock, a way to non-violently thwart those who would poison the body politic with their hate.
If we don’t try this hard in 2022, Trump will go unpunished and metastasize by 2024.
Resist In Power, my sisters, my brothers, and my others.
Resist Together, and elect a Congressional Supermajority in 2022!

2023.05.31 18:49 Meggybear17 I walk by a house with overgrown grass almost as tall as the fence every day. I’ve also seen about 5 dogs living there but never seen an owner in sight. What should I do?

As the title states, I take my dog for a walk every day and we walk by a house that has grass almost as tall as the fence and we have seen at least 5 dogs (maybe more) in their backyard (they bark at us when we walk by). I have never seen the owner of the home/dogs home and I walk at various times during the day (morning/afternoon/night). I don’t see the dogs out every time, but nevertheless, that high of grass can’t be good for them either.
Is there someone I can call? What would you do?
I live in St. Louis county if that means anything.

2023.05.31 18:48 Upset_Chocolate_5977 Will Cannabis be fully legal in Ohio soon?

So House Bill 168 was filed the other day and it would allow people to have up to almost 2 ounces of marijuana and 6 plants. Along with a 10% sales tax that will go to fund education, revenue fund for the state, Mental Health and more. The Coalition To Regulate Marijuana Like Alcohol petition is still on going too, trying to collect enough signatures for this year's election in November by July 5th.
So....Will the bill pass? Or will the petition get enough signatures to go on ballot, to put the fate of legalizing recreational Cannabis in our hands? What's the likelihood of weed becoming fully legal here???

2023.05.31 18:37 Accomplished-Row1339 Health insurance

My PO is trying to force me to get health insurance I make too much for Medicaid and the only plans I've been able to find are around 215 a month which I can definitely not afford with all my current bills and while I'm trying to save to get out of my parents house I'm in Ohio and on felony probation. I'm really just wondering... she can't make me pay for health insurance if I can't afford it, right?

2023.05.31 18:33 Superpwner423 Dealer Lied About Boat Title and Registration

Hi, I live in the state of Kentucky and back in 2021 I went to a boat dealership and purchased a small fishing boat. When I bought the boat I was given nothing but a bill of sale and was told verbally that the boat had never been registered and had no title. Now yesterday I finally got around to going to the county clerks office to get a title and register the boat. When the clerk looked up the boats VIN number it came back with a registration that expired back in 2011 and the title of the boat had been junked. Was it legal for the dealership to sell me a boat while lying about its previous registration and title status? If so what course of action should I take?

2023.05.31 18:29 fxbaba108 Tax Lien Database

Anyone doing Tax Lien investing ?
I recently created a program to help me and other interested investors to speed of the research require in order to determine which type of property are available on county online listings.
The county listing online is very basic with only tax year, parcel number, face amount value, certificate number and whether active or inactive.
With over 11,000 records in Sarasota county for example, it can take literally days to find a certificate for let's say a 3br single family house.
With my data, captured by the program, within 15min of listings released, am able to do specific searches based on type of property, whether property address matches property owners address, by value ratio, zip code, subdivision, etc, etc, etc
I'm not interested in selling the program as it took way too long to finish but I'm looking into maybe selling customized leads. Meaning if you are looking for something specific, I can do the research for you with my software and provide you with a spreadsheet with the data you are interested.
If anyone is interested feel free to comment or message me privately

2023.05.31 18:08 No_Use2599 Protective covenants placed on land by previous owner.

I bought a house which came with a small bit of land attached. The land came with the house.
My solicitor sent over the paperwork for the house and the land once the sale went through and advised that there are some protective covenants that have been placed on the land by the previous owner restricting the uses of the land e.g. no structures can be erected on the land.
At the bottom of the page containing details of restrictions there is a box for signatures. Two "Authorised Signatory" boxes have been signed but the boxes for the signatures of the previous owner and a witness are both empty.
Given the missing signatures, does this document still hold any significance? Or can I disregard the covenants?
I haven't sought any advice from solicitors yet, thought I'd go with reddit first. Thanks!
Edit: I live in England.

2023.05.31 18:04 Fast-Service-280 ($BCNN) Management Discussion and Analysis – Outlook 2023

This management’s discussion and analysis (MD&A) includes information that will help you understand management’s perspective on the Outlook for 2023 for Balincan USA Inc (BCNN) and its subsidiary Tekumo LLC (the “Company”). We expect that the revenue generated over the next 12 months from our recent customer announcements will exceed more than $6 million.
As you review this MD&A, we encourage you to read our interim financial statements and notes for the quarter ended March 31, 2023, our consolidated financial statements and notes for the year ended December 31, 2022, and our Letter to Shareholders dated May 9, 2023 (all filed with OTC Markets).
Caution about forward-looking information
This MD&A includes statements and information about our expectations for the future. When we discuss our strategy, plans, future financial and operating performance, or other things that have not yet taken place, we are making statements considered to be forward-looking statements under United States (US) securities laws. Please see the disclosure relative to forward-looking statements at the base of this discussion.
CORPORATE OVERVIEW
The Company offers a service delivery platform that solves the "last-mile" of installing, monitoring, and maintaining technology systems and smart connected devices.
We play at the intersection of two major trends: the “Uber-ization” of product and service delivery, and the explosion of smart connected devices brought about by the “Internet of Things” (IoT). Our Service Delivery platform was designed to intelligently automate the installation and maintenance of products by offering On-Demand local technician resources, as well as providing a “smart interface” for the monitoring and management of connected devices.
This service platform caters for a broad range of technologies from POS systems, kiosks, digital menu boards, cameras, cabling, Wi-Fi and networking, to water and energy management, lighting and HVAC control, smart homes devices, wearable sensors, and access control.
Our platform results in “less people, less time and less cost” for our customers.
HISTORY & OUTLOOK
Tekumo started its journey as a small IT managed services company while we developed our Service Delivery Platform, recording service revenue of $2+ million in 2022 and 2021. We pivoted away from that managed service orientation to our real “soul” as a software-based solution at the end of 2022, having invested over $3 million in completing the Platform.
We have recently announced anchor customers in multiple industry segments. We expect that the revenue generated over the next 12 months from these announcements will exceed more than three times our previous annual revenue and will grow.
IT and Retail Services:
Most of our historical revenue has come from this segment. We have completed projects for such companies as Target, Home Depot, McDonalds, US Bank, 7Eleven, and AT&T. Our median work order is $250 for a 2.65-hour engagement.
Smart Homes/Buildings:
The Smart Home Industry is already large and is expected to grow quickly. We have installed smart door locks, smart switches, access control, smart thermostats, and water leak sensors at an average per unit revenue of $200-250.
Hospitality:
Regulations to protect employees and guests in hotels are changing rapidly. We have been engaged to install panic buttons and other wireless technologies in a leading hotel group. These projects will be sold on a monthly recurring revenue basis
Financial Summary:
Our gross margin of 40% from 2022/21 is expected to continue in 2023. Operating Expenses ran $2.2 million in 2022, and there will be no major changes in fixed costs. An expected $6 million revenue rate would result in a near cash flow breakeven, with a continued investment in our technology and sales efforts fostering growth into 2024. We expect to see the effects of these recent partnerships from Q3 onwards.
SUMMARY OF OUTSTANDING SHARES
As of May 29, 2023 our common share structure is:
BCNN SECURITY DETAILS (OTC) Authorized Shares1,500,000,0005/29/2023 Outstanding Shares182,163,3175/29/2023Restricted135,040,8105/29/2023Unrestricted47,122,5075/29/2023 Held at DTC 45,238,9565/29/2023 Float 15,747,50712/31/2022
During the first quarter, the Company only issued a total of 31,375,000 common shares pursuant to our Regulation 1-A offering filed with the Securities and Exchange commission as of September 23, 2022. Under such an offering, the Company may issue up to 100,000,000 shares.
Drawing down the balance of the Reg A offering will provide necessary working capital and will only result in outstanding shares of approximately 250 million.
COMPANY NAME AND TICKER CHANGE
On February 3, 2023 The Company announced that it had filed for a formal name and symbol change to Tekumo, Inc., TKMO, subject to the approval of FINRA. The Company has answered all questions as part of the preliminary review. However, there is a secondary review related to a filing that was not made back in 2010. This does not pertain to present management or operations, and we remain confident that we will announce a change in due course.
About Balincan USA, Inc.
Balincan USA, Inc (OTC: BCNN) is an alternative reporting publicly held company that wholly-owns Tekumo LLC.

2023.05.31 18:02 Fast-Service-280 ($BCNN) Management Discussion and Analysis – Outlo

2023.05.31 17:58 hanas_lin Petersburg: Trailblazer Amaza Lee Meredith celebrated in new audio documentary series Black pioneer broke through racial and gender barriers in architecture and artistic design: Meredith’s Azurest South completed in 1939 on VSU campus

PETERSBURG — One of the first Black woman architects, Amaza Lee Meredith from Petersburg, will be celebrated in the latest episodes of the New Angle: Voice audio documentary series created by Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation.
According to historian Jacqueline Taylor, Meredith [1895-1984] studied at Virginia Normal and Industrial Institute, now known as Virginia State University [VSU]. In 1947, she enrolled at Teachers College in New York City.
One of Meredith's best documented works is Azurest South, located on the VSU campus. Completed in 1939, it served as her home/studio and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1993. National Historic Landmark status is pending.
The Virginia Department of Historic Resources describes Azurest South as being located in the Chesterfield County town of Ettrick and Meredith's design as a compact, clean-lined dwelling. It is among the Commonwealth’s few mature examples of the International Style, a style which developed in Germany following World War I and espoused a complete break with traditional architecture.
The architect shared the house with her partner Edna Meade Colson [1888-1985], a leading Black educator and activist. In 1986, Azurest South became the official Alumni House for the Virginia State University Alumni Association, a dream of Meredith's.

Meredith’s life will soon be in the popular imagination: Actor Laurence Fishburne is producing a new HBO Max series based on Colson Whitehead’s novel "Sag Harbor," a place where Meredith and her sister Maude Terry developed a destination resort for middle-class Blacks. HBO Max is an American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service.
Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation [BWAF] executive director Cynthia Phifer Kracauer leads this effort. She conceived and produced the audio documentaries with noted writer and editor Alexandra Lange Ph.D. and the acclaimed producer Brandi Howell.
The production team traveled to Petersburg, Charlottesville, Richmond and Manassas and interviewed preachers and historians like Grady Powell who document how Meredith founded a department at a university, taught art at Virginia State and more.
On Sag Harbor, Azurest North has been listed since 2019 as part of a historic district. The Sag Harbor work includes two residences by Meredith, including her family’s cottage where Meredith’s drafting table could be found.

2023.05.31 17:57 alterezy Bought car from private seller, transmission is bad, want to sue in small claims court

My parents and I bought a car about two weeks ago from a private seller for about $6k.
My parents contacted the guy from a local website and he said that he’ll drive the car to our house for us to take a look at. My dad and I both went on a test drive and seemed fine. He also thoroughly checked the car after and the only thing he noticed was that the AC leaked water, but nothing else too crazy. He also told us his car didn’t pass the smog check yet, which required him to drive it for 300 miles because he just got repairs for that.
A couple days after, my parents and him came to an agreement on the price and we said we’ll complete the transaction after the passes the smog check.
The day comes when it’s time to transfer titles & my mom gets off work earlier than I do, so her + the guy & his wife, who is the actual owner of the car, went to the place that would complete the paperwork. My mom wanted to test drive it one last time and the guy went with her. She told him that her daughter needs to commute with this car so don’t sell it if there’s some really big issues. The guy never mentioned anything. When they got back, his wife mentioned that the windshield wiper was broken (my mom said it was fine because it could easily be fixed). When they completed the transaction with cash, both parties agreed to put the payment as lower than what was paid for on paper for tax reasons.
I didn’t drive the car for a couple of days because I wanted to wait till the weekend to take it to a car detailing shop to get it deep cleaned before I was ready to drive it. For the next week or so, when I drove to work, there were signs that something was very wrong with the transmission. The gas pedal on the car would not accelerate after 15 mins into driving on the freeway, it would start to slow down for a bit before the car jerks back and starts going faster again. When it comes to exiting the freeway, the car would completely feel stuck at a stoplight and more stoplights after unless I restart the car. The car also continuously jerks when driving. I didn’t know that it was a big issue at first because I just graduated from college and haven’t been driving for that long.
My dad took the car to a shop and they said that the transmission is bad and the car shouldn’t be driven anymore. So my parents contacted the seller and he refuses to pay for repairs, and said that it’s his wife’s car so he doesn’t know anything.
My parents now want to sue them in a small claims court for either repairs or a refund and we’ll give them the car back. I would have to be the one to sue, but I’m just not sure how likely we would to win this case because of our lack of evidence that the other party knew about this issue prior to the sale. We also did not take the car for an inspection beforehand, just test drove and inspected it ourselves. They only communicated through phone calls. We also thought it was weird that the guy only wanted to drive the car to our place, so he probably didn’t want us to know where they lived.
If anyone has had a similar experience or could give me advice on this case, it would be greatly appreciated!
Edit: We want to sue because the repair cost for the car would be super expensive, $3k-4k. He basically sold us a car that couldn’t drive.

2023.05.31 17:53 goatpkr Warning - I'm a vendor

My friend and I have started a security platform only focused for MSPs. We're 2 months in and have just finished our MVP with 2 MSPs using the platform. Up until a month ago I knew very little about the MSP world.
A couple of things I've learnt so far:
I guess I have 2 questions:
  1. Anything missing from the above?
  2. Any advice on how we, as a 2 person new vendor can speak with MSPs in a time respectful way that doesn't annoy anyone.

2023.05.31 17:45 Revolutionary-Tank79 Is this an illegal search?

So I’m sitting about halfway up my driveway smoking in my friends car. (A 2021 so the lights don’t shut all the way off unless the car is off). About 11 o’clock at night. I live in a very safe neighborhood. Anyway a police officer rode by and somehow ran the plate. Said it didn’t match up to my house, (this was his excuse to enter my driveway). When he pulls up my driveway I have a ounce of weed on me so as he’s pulling in I try to run it inside, (bad idea never doing that again) he pulls his gun on me. Leads me with the gun back to the car and said he smells weed. (In my friends car, in MY driveway). I told him this is my house. He responds with “it’s you or your moms” which is still mine. So then he proceeds to call for backup and searches my person without my consent and finds weed. And after the entire situation he compared my driveway to sitting in Walmart parking lot because they’re both “private property” Anyway they said I was gonna have to do community service. I was 17 and in ohio the decriminalized limit is below 2 ounces. They never ended up contacting me for community service though, a lot of me thinks it’s because they took it back to their supervisor and he said they fucked up. So they left all of us alone.
