I have been following Priyanka's Citadel and Love Again promotions since a last couple of months and have been quite amazed with the kind of hard work she puts into promoting herself. It all started with a podcast back in March where PC spoke about her ostracization from Bollywood. Soon after, she visited Mumbai for NMACC event. This started her globe trotting journey of promoting herself and her show.
1) After the NMACC event, she stayed in India for about a week where she gave numerous interviews to various media channels and attended a media premiere for her show.
2) After spending about a week in Mumbai, she left for London, where she stayed for 2-3 days. Did interviews on various channels like BBC. Attended a huge premiere for Citadel.
3) Soon after, she left for Rome where she appeared in a few local interviews and once again attended a premiere for Citadel.
4) All this while, she along with Richard gave close to 50 interviews to various media channels like The Wrap, Collider, ExtraTV etc.
4) From here, she moved to Los Angeles, where they had another premiere for the show. She appeared for some talk shows here like the Jennifer Hudson show and a few others. Since the late night shows were on a break due to the writers' strike, she could not appear on them.
5) Then she moved to New York, where she attended the Met Gala and the parties that come with it. Here, she appeared on all the famous talk shows like the Kelly Clarkson show, The View, Today Show, Good Morning America, Howard Stern, Andy Cohen, Call her daddy, hoda kotb potcast etc. She did not leave a single venue in New York to promote herself and the show. She also attended the premiere for "Love Again" here.
6) She also managed to shoot for multiple magazines like Elle, Grazia, Harper's Bazaar, Today's cover star etc. during all this madness.
7) Right after her promotions in New York got over, she went to India to attend Parineeti's engagement.
8) Yesterday, she participated in Bulgari's Mediterranean show and according to folks on social media, she is going to make an appearance in Cannes as well. Whats more interesting is that she has a movie to film next week onwards.
This is freaking insanity. I have never seen a celeb both Hollywood or Bollywood who has managed to appear on a thousand interviews, shoot for multiple magazines and attended premieres all over the world for a film or a TV show. Since folks here are well versed with the pop culture, do you recall someone from Hollywood pushing this hard for promotions. Priyanka and Anjula Acharaia and rest of her entourage have some next level management capabilities. Their strategy it seems is maximizing the exposure for Priyanka by making her omnipresent. Can't think of any other celeb doing this. Jlo also had a movie to promote during the same time but her promotions were restricted to a few interviews in New York and a couple in LA.

John Cena is not only part of the cast of Fast X but he will also be making an appearance in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie as a merman.

The former WWE star made an appearance on the Today show where he talked about how he was cast in the film about the Mattel doll.

“It was a happy accident and I think that Barbie and Fast X share a lot of parallels. The cast list is amazing, the Barbie cast list is amazing, the Fast X cast list is amazing,” he told Hoda Kotb during an interview on the NBC morning show. “So, with a lot of opportunity, it was a chance for maybe to [say], ‘Hey, would you guys be willing to have me if I could do something?'”

Cena told Kotb that he “kind of” pitched himself for the film “in an accidental run-in with Margot Robbie” where he said, “I would do, pretty much, whatever you guys need ’cause I really enjoy the movie and they asked me if I wanted to be a merman.”

The Peacemaker actor said that Fast X was filming across the street from where Barbie was filming. Cena said he had been trying to get in the film and finally made it happen when he pitched himself to Robbie who “makes a lot of the decisions” in casting.

Has anybody had a chance to smell the colognes from Jo Malone’s Scottish highlands collection? I haven’t seen much about it, and can’t find it on Fragrantica yet.
I passed the display at Macy’s and sniffed Melancholy Thistle and Highland Heather. The latter was okay, but I really enjoyed Melancholy Thistle. It’s smooth, almost creamy texture compliments its aromatic green-ess. I’m getting a subtle ozonic aldehyde which feels cold to my nose. Usually “cold” aldehydes make me feel nauseous (ie Blackbird). This is perfect for warm weather.
The notes are thistle accord, ivy, and “cool wood” accord. After reading the breakdown, I was surprised that I liked this. I’m hesitant with fantasy accord florals. And even though I enjoy the smell of the “cool wood” accord, I don’t think it makes sense for a Scottish highland concept. When I think of the highlands, I think: lack of trees. But the texture it adds definitely gives me gray Scottish weather.
I want to go back and smell Mallow on the Moor because I have a strange obsession with the Mallow plant. As Melancholy Thistle dries down, I’m smelling a well-blended creamy-green-musk. Very nuzzling scent.
