Hello, I'm sharing this experience hoping to at least give someone else experiencing this issue or similar a heads-up. First some backstory, got my 7 pro as an upgrade from my 3a (that I'm typing this on currently) a little less than 2 months ago, for some odd reason, the 7 pro wouldn't connect to my mobile network (Verizon's straight talk) until I opted in to beta software (idk, it's what fixed that issue for me), then about a month ago, I noticed an air bubble under the top edge of my screen (note that screen protector does not cover the front camera or directly above it) https://imgur.com/gallery/rxer1nK
I thought "ok, I'll take it into ubreakifix before it becomes an actual issue" but after I dropped it off, they didn't feel like telling me that they couldn't work on it with the beta on it until I came back 5 hours later, so I went home, re-setup my pixel since I had factory reset it for the repair, and opted the device out of the beta, I waited about a week, still no rollback update, and my screen had gotten worse. https://imgur.com/gallery/50bFyrV
So then I contacted support so they could maybe manually push the rollback update so I could get the damn thing repaired, then support switched the focus to the actual issue of the screen, which I was pleasantly surprised about, and I agreed to RMA.
I sent my <2 months old device that I've been very careful with priority overnight via the RMA shipping label provided by Google, you'd think they'd send a new device back also with priority overnight, after confirming a manufacturing defect on my $900 phone, right? No, a different refurbished device might get here tuesday. This has been a nearly month-long headache of a process, and the trade-in value of a 7 pro for the fold being capped at $400 is just extra salt in the wound. I loved my 7 pro so far, but man, I'm kinda starting to regret the purchase tbh. Anyway, if someone else ends up searching "large bubble under pixel 7 pro screen" or something, they can at least know what to expect. I know my repaiRMA experience would've been better without the beta, but is what it is, I'll be glad when this is done with.

Have an iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16.5. Started getting really slow so decided to do a hard reset. Made sure iCloud backup had been on. Did the reset. Phone is running like new except lost half my contacts. I hadn’t even added any new contacts in weeks if not months. Any ideas what went wrong?

Hello everyone and thank you in advance for reading my long post.
I'm a parent of a beautiful 26 month old boy and as many of us, I tend to over analyze everything he is doing/not doing.
I would like to share some of the behaviors my son has in hope to hear from more experienced parents.
So kid was born healthy and in time. Sometimes around 9 and 10 months he started walking and just couple of weeks before that he was crawling, so he almost skipped crawling.
He started talking way before being 1 year old, just basic stuff.. but by the time of 14-16 months he was talking a ton. He is raised in bilingual environment so I would say he was/is equally capable in both languages. I think around 18 months he was able to count to 20, he knew alphabet, he knew every animal and was able to mimic sound it makes, he knows colors and shapes and so on.
Around two he was able to memorize multiple songs and recite them in both languages. When it comes to book we are reading, he knew exactly whats on what page and I don't think I would lie if I say he knows at least 50 different books...like I will say beginning of the sentence on every page and he will finish it.
He knows every letter and every number. I believe all this is considered very advanced at that age.
Now the weird stuff.. Running in circles with his eyes locked to side. Doesn't happen every day but it happens from time to time. Like it he is very excited he might start doing it and I think he really enjoys that dizzy feeling as this is usually followed by laugh. We have another game where I pick him for his hands and spin around and he is sooo happy when we do it.
Head shaking left and right - I want to say I noticed this more in periods when he is teething but I'm honestly not sure. I also feel it manifests more when he is tired. Again, doesn't happen every day and I feel it's been months since he did it and now he is kinda doing it again.
He was obsessed with wheels and tires for a while.. he just loved spinning wheels on toys, wheel barrows.. anything. He kinda stopped doing that and doesn't care much about it anymore. When he was young before he walked he also loved starring at ceiling fans.. so I guess anything that spins.
He's got trouble using fork and spoon but on the flip side, he loves to eat so he might be just impatient to get that food in.
Walking on his toes.. not all the time but he does it.
Currently he is repeating a lot of what we say and he is basically still not able to answer with yes or no on his own. He learned to say yes to some stuff but I think it's not real, he just memorized it. For example if I ask him do you love daddy he will say yes but I spent a lot of time to accomplish that. 😂 Also, default answer to questions he doesn't know how to answer now is moving head left to right, like he is saying no. He also pulls us when he wants something (he was recently sick and we noticed this behavior more during that time) but he is also capable to ask for banana, orange, water etc. He knows so many words and he is speaking very clearly but he repeats a ton which I guess is normal at this age(?) When he gets excited he will repeat something so many times until we say it also and acknowledge it. For example, we walked into a friends barn recently and he is obsessed with farm and farm machinery. So he saw a tractor and lawn mower and couple of other machines and he would just walk from one to the other saying their names. And of course he got very upset when we had to go out.
Now while doing my research I noticed bunch of these behaviors are pointing to autism but it's also very common during this age.
He can keep eye contact just fine, he is super affectionate to his mother and me (more to mom tho). Like he will just randomly come and say cuddle on the couch and we have to do it.. and it's very specific way where mom needs to lay on the couch and he lays next to her hugging her. If she moves her head one way he will push it so it goes the way he is used to having it.
He can also answer questions, for example if I ask his name, my name, grandma and grandpas names, aunty names.. he can answer those right. Or if I ask, where does the horse lives? He will say: Farm.
He can follow basic orders, for example if I ask him to bring me some animal he will bring it or if I tell him horse is kissing a tiger he will have those two "kissing".
He does pretend play as well, like he will take his animals and bring them to drink water from his cup.
Besides that he isn't really interested in other toys. Before animals and farms he went through the cars and trucks stage and he was all about firetrucks, police cars etc. He's got a bike, he absolutely doesn't care about it or if he sits on it he doesn't try to move at all and I have seen much younger kids doing it.
We also just learned how to play hide and seek, although he just understand concept of looking for us if we hide, he doesn't know that he needs to hide as well.
Obviously this is my first child and I haven't been much around other kids in my adult life where I could observe some of these behaviors and make judgements.
He is not going to daycare yet so sometimes I feel some of this is just boredom and not being exposed to other kids and watching the things they do. When around other kids he doesn't care much about them really and if we go to park he rather chooses to run around than go on a slide or some other toys.
He is generally very happy kid but really he is his own person with things he likes and dislikes and maybe I'm just surprised he is showing that so early.
If we play cartoon for him he doesn't have a problem sitting calmly and watching it with full attention on so there is no problem with focusing or distraction. Same goes when we read for him or draw or anything like that.
If you have gotten this far I want to thank you. If you can offer a first hand experience with something similar and how it worked out I would love to hear it. If you are professional, I would love to hear your thoughts as well. Once again,. thanks!

For context, I'm 32, he's almost 60, I live with him because he wants me to live here because pooling our resources makes it really cheap for both of us, and it's going to allow me to save up to buy us a house to live in so we're not throwing away money in rent anymore.
The only problem is I can't stand to be around him, I don't want to live with him, I don't like anything about him, we don't have anything in common, in fact we're exact opposites on basically everything. I have nothing to talk about with him, and even if I did, he's always drunk, like 'seesawing back and forth, slurring, asking toddler-level questions but not being able to understand or remember the answers' drunk, every single day, without fail. He's not violent or mean or anything so I know I shouldn't complain since it could always be worse, but it's embarrassing, I don't want to live around it, and dealing with it makes me incredibly uncomfortable, and it literally ruins my night every night that I talk to him. He starts drinking as soon as he gets home from work, or if it's his day off, he starts drinking as soon as he's done with any driving errands he has to do, so basically mid-afternoon. He has absolutely positively no interest whatsoever in quitting drinking, as we've argued about it several times and I've told him more times than I can count that I don't think of him as a person when he's drunk and that we can't really have a relationship if I can't talk to him like a human being.
I should probably explain what I mean by that; It's kinda like how he felt when he had to take care of his mom who recently died of dementia, it's like you're talking to someone's body, but their brain really isn't in there at all, they don't remember anything you say, they don't have their mental faculties, they can't process simple information, they don't understand what's going on around them, they get extremely emotional at the drop of a hat over nothing, and they tell you the same thing over and over again every night, sometimes multiple times in a row. Did I just describe my drunk dad or his mom dying of dementia? Both. It's exactly the same behavior, except he only had to go through it with his mom for a year before she passed, and I've been going through this with him every day since I started making conscious memories.
It just makes me incredibly uncomfortable and I'm only able to give short quick irritated answers that go nowhere because I don't want to talk to him in that state, and there's no reason to go anywhere with it because he's not really in there and he's not really hearing me anyway, and he's definitely not capable of having a normal conversation. Like, tonight for example; I get off work at the same time every day. I usually go to my friend's house to hang out with him after work until my dad passes out so I don't have to talk to him. Tonight, though, as usually happens at least once or twice a week, my friend was already asleep, so I went straight home. So then I have to answer the same stupid questions that I've already answered before, over and over, from my dad; "How'd you get here so early!" -'my friend was asleep' "....yeah but it's still early..." -'I got off work at the same time I always do, I just usually go hang out with him first' "Okay man well hell what's wrong?" (visibly irritated because I'm shortening this, it's a lot more repetitive in real life, but I respond trying to be as nice as possible) -'nothing's wrong, I'm just tired, I just got off work man'. "Alright. Well what's that?" -'a nintendo switch (he's seen it a million times before)' "Alright.... so what's that?" -'a game for the switch, thanks for getting it out of the mailbox for me'. And then he just shuffles off into the other room when he finally figures out I got nothing to say to him and that he wouldn't understand any of it if I did.
And I know you're probably feeling sympathetic right now, like "Well at least he's trying to have a relationship with you and he's actually trying to reach out, cut him some slack, it could be way worse" and that would be true and fair enough, but that doesn't account for the fact that every single person including myself and my mom, who left him, has asked him to stop drinking if he really wants to have a relationship with us, and he outright refuses, and so we just treat him like a stupid old fool, because he always drinks himself into a drunken stupor every single day and so that's exactly how he acts. He just gets emotional when he's drunk, and that's when he wants to reach out, and that's alright I guess, but how about reaching out when you're sober and when I can actually kinda talk to you a little bit? How about use the one brain cell you have before you start drinking and try to figure out that you're an absolute burden and an old loser who needs to get his shit together, and could've had his shit together decades ago if you'd just fucking listen to every single person around you in your entire life who tells you to stop drinking? How about rub a couple of brain cells together when you're sober and realize you're the reason that your kids are losers too because you're our role model? How about a little give and take, especially when it's for your own good? That's what a relationship is, and that's what responsible adults do. But he refuses.
We're talking about the type of person who doesn't know any of their own usernames, passwords, or even his own email address. Because he never sat down and logged into any online service for himself ever, because he can't remember what a username and password even is. So every time he needs anything, which is all the time because he's always so drunk he can't understand what the english words on the TV screen are trying to tell him, I gotta come do the whole forgot your password rigamarole for every single account he has just so I can log into it again and figure out whatever issue he's having. Last shit I want to do after working a 10 or 12 hour shift, I just want to chill. And I have to do it for him because he acts like a helpless baby, and he's drunk and dumb as hell so I mean he can't do it for himself anyway even if he did give it a try. The type of person who looks at a screen that says a simple one-sentence message and an "okay" prompt, takes five minutes to read it, and then turns to me and asks "Should I click okay?" It's just so annoying because I've told him about a million times that if he just stopped drinking and tried to practice using technology while he was sober, he would get the hang of it, and that if he made his own accounts and passwords instead of having people do it for him and tell him what they picked for him when he's drunk and forgets, that he wouldn't have any of these problems logging into stuff to begin with, because it'd be burned into his memory like it is for the rest of us normal people who do our own things for ourselves. And he says okay, but then he just never does it. In one ear and out the other. Just like when I asked him all those years ago again and again to stop drinking so we could have a decent relationship, in one ear and out the other.
We're talking about the type of person who was 100% behind and invested in Trump to the point where he even bought a few hats and regularly made ridiculous, racist, and braindead pro-republican propaganda posts on facebook. To the point where he'd get himself banned all the time and then come tell me about how he's in facebook jail again for trying to spread the truth. Or, well he used to, before I just started reacting with straight up anger and hatred towards conservatism every time anything political came up, and explained to him about a million times why it's not okay to support awful people, and now he's gone from "Trump 2020" to "well I never liked politics anyway and I suggest you stop paying attention to it or talking about it too because I'm a lot happier now that I don't". So it's like, the only victory I can get with this man, is "I give up and you should too". And that's a reflection of his entire life. He gave up a long time ago and I just want it to be over for him and for me, because that would be easier than telling him that what I really want is to just move across the country and never see or hear from him again, not buy a house where I gotta live with him and keep dealing with this shit until he dies. This doesn't even address any of our personality clashes, like how I'm quiet and he's loud, I hate dumb shit but he literally cranks up the most low-intellect brain dead dadrock unironically because that's what speaks to him, I like to read and think and he can barely read and barely think, all he wants to do is not pay taxes on his mom's inheritance that he's going to get soon and buy a boat and a truck to haul it so he can sit on the water and drink beer, all I want is to be financially responsible and pay my bills and taxes and be fucking quiet and do the right thing, and maybe raise a kid that has respect for me.
I'm angry and bitter and I've probably said some very mean things here, but it's just how I feel. I've brought up all of this to him in person several times in explicit detail, and he just doesn't have the brainpower or memory or willpower, or simply doesn't care enough, to address any of it. I'm at a loss as to how I should engage with this. Thanks in advance for any help, and yes, I know I'm an asshole. I'm sorry. I'm just not happy.
TLDR: My dad started drinking when he was 17 and hasn't been sober a day since, I personally think his brain is mush even when he's sober but it's especially bad when he's drunk, and he's not violent or mean or anything it's just like dealing with a slobbering toddler and it annoys the piss out of me for several reasons, and because it's my dad, I'm obligated to take care of him and even buy a house where I can take care of him and he's going to continue to annoy the piss out of me doing literally everything I hate about humanity right within my earshot and line of sight until he dies a messy death that I have to clean up. Any tips on how to deal with this without just hating my own father? I believe there's a good person somewhere underneath the alcohol, as he's somewhat coherent when I see him in the morning before work, and he has a job so they must think he's coherent as well, but as soon as he gets home and the not-bud-light (because it's gay now) gets cracked open, the brain flies out the window and it's back to braindead loud redneck wrestling and rock music and old shit he's seen a million times that wasn't even good back in the day, and hollering for me to come take a look at it, when I literally can't even hear my own TV over his (across the house) and I hate the shit and have no interest in it anyway.

I made it back to Austin on May 1st, 2023, and am having a difficult time finding weird people like me😀. This may come to nothing, but I thought I'd give a shot at creating a safe space for single witches of every path to drop in and say hello to one another. I am no beginner, and I follow the Left Hand Path though I do not identify as a 'satanist' or some kind of 'devil worshiper'. To me, that is merely the angry polar opposite of the Christian mythos, and the TRUTH of the Old Ways both predates and transcends the quiltwork patchjob of ancient pagan philosophies/mythologies that modern Christianity is. Real one percenters. I just thought that was what I was supposed to be. In a nightmare of a night in 1989, in the throws of a nervous breakdown after putting my firstborn 5 year old child in a hole in the ground (ending his year and a half long agonizing experience with lymphoma cancer), and three quarters of Him Beam in for the day, a 44 year old man attempted to kill me and leave with both families bags of goodies. I won. And for it, because of my family and the guys I was known to ride with, the state of Texas took me down hard, going I would roll over on all of them. When I wouldn't, they railroaded me with a 35 year sentence of which they made me do 30 flat. Everytime I called up for parole, the Federal Marshals and within a week they Texas Rangers would come and "interview" me, threatening me AGAIN with parole of I didn't talk. When I let loose with whatever creative things I had came up with for that time fire them to do with their parole papers, they would indeed see to it that I was once more denied parole. I did not waste my time down there. Well, I suppose I wasted the first 11 years being angry, and young & stupid 🙄 (I was only 24 when all of this occurred). But in 2002 the Old Ways saved my life. I had practiced for years, but having grown up in an unspeakably abusive home, I carried so much repressed anger and hurt (that I had no clue how to deal with) that I wasn't worth knocking in the head. Returning to the Path of my ancestors, for the first time in my life, I found true peace. I struggled for a while to keep a promise I made to my mom that at least once in my life I would give her religion (Christianity) am honest try--- and I did. With all of my heart. But honestly, there is only emptiness there for me. And I eventually returned to the ways of the Old World where I had found Me, really found Me. I am 57, in great shape, got my education while I was down there; took every self help class and did every positive course I could get into while there as well, and have been free at last for next two and a half years now. Years which I have wasted trying to mend familial fences and help loved ones that don't really want any help (mostly meth addicts). In April, I gave up and returned to Austin, my favorite places in Texas since I first moved here in 1981. I am from Livingston, Texas originally. But when I was 16 my metal bands picked up a producer in Houston and we made a splash in the pond. We moved to Austin (the band), and the months later had a manager from LA, who moved us there, and the rest is history. But I was unable to outrun the psychological damage done, primarily, by my mom as I was growing up, I couldn't hide from Me. And I was SO frigging broken. I was never an alcoholic or a drug addict. I did my share of everything back then, but I had seen it all swallow people I had known and loved, and I had NO intentions of being another statistic for that shit. Within a few years, two of the guys in my hand were full blown addicts, so my brother and rhythm guitarist, Mike, and I (who had to handle the lion's share of the workload alone) the in the towel and came back to Texas. That was about the time we found out my son was sick, and it all went downhill from there. When the mental torment would get too much, I would lose myself in a whiskey bottle to keep from putting a . 44 slug through my skull before daylight. It was on one of these days that a bro called me and asked me to make a drop. It was an emergency for him and it was already set up. But that evening he'd been told his little 19 year old college student, straight laced, awesome little sister had been killed here in Austin in a traffic accident on the loop, and her needed to go be with his family. Though I had pulled up on ANYTHING illegal when my daughter had been born a year and a half earlier, I said yes to him under the circumstances just that once. And the guy we had done business with for a decade decided, I guess, since it was this cute kid that showed up he would make a come up. He'd BEEN told about me numerous times. I was dangerous when I was young. But his arrogance won the conversation in his head and he tried to end me. And what pathetic excuse for a life that I had at that point was destroyed, and his own ended. If I could undo it, I would. If I could trade places with him, I would. But we can't unring a bell. There are consequences for the things we do. Sometimes they are severe. They were for me. But I made it through, somehow. And here I am. Hoping to make some friends. Have an amazing rest of your day. Hi guys! I am the Intune/Apple Admin at my job. I am having an issue with a shared ipad (Kiosk mode ipad). Here is what is going on:
We setup an iPad Pro with a USB-C Dock, connected with an ethernet cord that goes directly into a Brother Label Maker Printer. This is so we can print Visitor badges on a web app one of our devs is creating. It was working for about a week, when all of a sudden we started getting this error "Brother QL-820NWB The Security of the connection could not be verified.". For the life of me I cant figure out why this is happening. I reset the brother printer, and still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas for how to fix this?
A few things to note: - This Printer does NOT airplay over WiFi so thats out of the question. I tried - Bluetooth is not an option as it is not reliable, and these iPads will be stationed in multiple remote sites with security guards who have very poor computetechnology skills. -Cant plug it into the network because we have Cisco ISE, which is very finicky and can randomly drop connections. -USB from the printer to the USB-C dock doesnt work -This is a third party USB-C Dock I am using, however I also used a USB-C apple multiport adapter, with an Apple USB-Ethernet adapter and we got the same error -When I plug the USB-C Dock into my MacBook (with the direct ethernet cable into the USB-C dock) it works fine. No error.
Any help would be useful. This is a hard one!!

Not sure if I’m looking for advice or just want to vent, I’m so discouraged with trying to succeed at this point. I’ll be 28 this Summer and still have no idea how to crawl out of debt, become a homeowner, or even just begin working towards a successful career.
I recently moved to the other side of my state, and when I say it’s a remote area - you’re driving over 50 minutes to get to Walmart. I’ve worked full time since I was 18. 5 years for a bank call center with various roles of increasing responsibility in collections, Fraud, and Marketing. By the last couple years there, I had worked my way off the phones. Lead special projects, took on rotational opportunities, not only joined their corporate “affinity” networks but was a pillar leader for TWO of them. Even completed their little “leadership development program”. Attempted to move into sales with them working with our clients. - Rejected due to lack of sales experience or 4 year degree.
Left them to obtain sales experience and ended up in car sales. Despite the toxic culture, terrible work life balance, and extreme stress the money was great (for me) until a global pandemic hit disrupting the entire industry. 3 years at the dealership and I decide car sales is not the future I want for myself. Queue the move.
My girlfriend wanted to move back to her hometown to be close to family. We’ve been together for over 8 years at this point, and she moved to my area 6 years ago for me so I felt like I owed it to her. She’s a fully remote employee so the move didn’t affect her career. I discovered during the move that opportunity in the area was extremely limited, especially for my background.
I’ve tried to no avail to get a remote role in both sales and my previous areas of focus. My current options are basically another dealership, retail, restaurant, or factory. All with either terrible hours, pay, benefits, or the whole buffet. There is a recent local industry apparently on the rise over the past decade that wasn’t present in my prior location which is oil and gas, which brings me to my latest disheartening blow.

My girlfriend’s father has been a plant operator for over 8 years at a local cryo processing plant and is considered one of their best operators. I had always found his descriptions of his career interesting but until now there was simply no present job market in my previous area. These guys make great money after a couple years, great life balance, benefits, advancement opportunity you name it. I’ve been applying to all related companies and have gotten nothing but auto decline emails.
Then it happens. There’s an opening at his plant! He personally refers me and an actual human looks at my resume. I research the industry for weeks, multiple mock interviews with her father, and paid out of pocket for relevant online course and certifications. I receive an invite to interview with the plant supervisor, plant manager, and their sole HR rep that handles duties for the entire plant.
Interview goes fantastic! I was well prepared, and could tell they were all very impressed with the certifications I obtained on my own. Let me know I should hear back in a few weeks. Obviously, with her father working there I was privileged to quicker feedback and status updates.
First update: They tell him I blew them away and am the leading candidate.
2nd update: They want to hire me but they are concerned that the only thing “keeping me in the area” is my girlfriend, and that I’ll just leave if our relationship fails. They say they wouldn’t have the concern if we were at least engaged. He then explains to them that we’ve been going strong for over 8 years, and that he wouldn’t be surprised if we were engaged within the year (think he had double motives there lol). They ask him if he’s willing to personally train and bring me up to speed. He agrees.
Update 3: They pick me. Submit my information to corporate across the country so they can extend me an offer. Corporate comes back saying they can’t hire me due to a “potential” conflict of interest due to me dating my girlfriend’s father. He is not a manager, a supervisor, and my role would have shared his title.
I’m devastated. I’m pissed my time and money were wasted. I’m pissed that almost every employee there got their shot with no oil and gas experience but I can’t get mine. All my prior work experience is useless out here. I’m pissed I’m getting trained by a 19 year old at a hardware store right now for $19/hr and a long commute.
My girlfriend wants me to leave negative reviews but I don’t want her father to deal with blowback. Maybe after he retires next year. For now I simply don’t have the energy. To fight the decision, or to keep sending out applications. I’m going to end up a wage slave forever.

I have known my bf for 3 going on 4 months and we’ve been dating for 1 going on 2 months. Recently I graduated high school and I was planning to go on a trip with my friend (18f). We planned this trip out a few months before we graduated at the end of may, but when may began I had told her before that we would need to book our flights and pay for the air bnb in advance like at the beginning of may. At that point I had already told my parents about the trip. The place we were going to go was California and it just so happened that my bf lives in Cali. (I didn’t choose the place my friend did and I went along with it cause I would also get to see my bf.) I didn’t want to force her to go there if she didn’t want to so I asked where was the place she wanted to go and that’s what she picked. Then in the second week of may I asked her again if she had told her parents about it and she said that she needs to start saving up for a car and college. I was bummed out because we had planned a whole trip and she said that she could save up a lot of money before we go and I’ve never been outside of Texas (where I live) before so I wanted someone to go to Cali with. So then I decided to just go by myself, but when I told my mother this she instantly said that I wasn’t going alone. She then started talking about all the dangers and the main thing was human trafficking. We then got into a huge argument about it and I was telling her that I was already 18 and she couldn’t force me to stay home and not go. So then she started saying things like my boyfriend could be a human trafficker, that he could be lying about his identity, and he could just be faking his whole life to me. But I pretty much know most things about him, and I am certain that he is not a trafficker. He’s pretty much told about his whole life and keeps me updated on what’s happening in his life like school, family, and friends. Then she came into my room and we talked about it and she said the only way she would let me go is if she went along too. Because before that she had told me while we were arguing that if I really wanted to go that I could just go by myself and she would not care. The tone she used was like if you wanna go so badly then just go and I won’t care about you. So I felt like I had no other choice than to let her come along. But the thing is if she goes then my 2 younger sisters would have to come along also they are 16 and 5. So up until now we’ve been planning on going but the car we were going to take (my car) needs almost $700 worth of things to fix before we would go. And I have $2,000 I was going to use for the trip. The air bnb we were going to was going to be about 650 and adding up the costs of food for 4 people, hotels, and gas. We wouldn’t really have any money for entertainments and we would be cutting it close. Or we wouldn’t have any money at all. My mom doesn’t work at the moment so all 4 of us would be depending on the 2,000. She also had asked in the beginning if I could lend her $500 since she’s going to school and would need the money supplies and gas money since the school she goes to in about a 45 minute drive from where we live, and I had agreed. So with all the costs added up 2,000 would definitely not be enough. I told her this and then she started on her rant again about how if I wanted to go alone then she wouldn’t care. Idk something about how she said it just made it seem like she was trying to guilt me out from going alone. So I needed some other people’s opinions on this. Also a side note: We planned on driving through NM, AZ, and then arriving to Cali on the 10th next week. I also really want to go see him before I leave for the Navy on the 26th of this month. But I just feel for lack of a better word “bad” since she’s angry with me and is worried for me. I understand her concerns but I will make sure to be as safe as I can. I am staying up late tonight because of it, since family is moving me. I should be asleep right now, I should be ok right now. But I didn't do it and now I'm even more stressed. I don't wanna do this anymore. Just throw everything out, I don't want to deal with this. I wanna sleep. I wanna just curl in bed and die. Pulling an all nighter. I have nothing in the fridge. Had to cancel my interest and my phone company will not unlock my phone. Spent a good amount arguing with company. When I said I was moving, apperently, despite being TOLD I could have my service with his in tandem, that is NOT the case. And was gonna shut off my LANDLORD'S INTERNET to replace it with my own?! Wtf. Wtf. Was on the phone for an hour for that alone. Internet disconnected now because I can't take it with me, that's "fine". Now I have to switch everything over and get shit shut down 2 weeks before I move. Great. A few hours of my life wasted on the god damn line.
Now I wanna move over because to keep my phone plan without internet I need to pay 25 dollars more. And I can't unlock the phone I just paid for until I pay the next billing cycle, no exceptions. Few hours and days spent going back and forth to physical location and customer service (which you can't call the number now, you have to go to the god damned chat bot's menus where it is hidden), because I set an appointment to switch over. Had to get the account and pin, because the app was down, then had to go back to the new mobile network. Phone is not unlocked, even though I told the woman I was switching over and she was IN MY ACCOUNT while there. So had to reschedule. Called customer service, would be unlocked on the 1st. Ok.
It did not get unlocked. Call again. They prioritize. Today? Went to go to my appointment. Look at my email.
It was denied. Cue a half hour and finally they say I have to pay the new bill in order to push my phone over. Now I need to pay to get my phone unlocked even though I paid it in full WHEN I BOUGHT. IT. IF I KNEW TBIS WOULD HAPPEN I NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THIS FUVKING PHONE.
All of this while I am trying to move, get my boxes over, unpack, clean. I. Am. Done. I am exhausted.

I (45M) am a single father of a son named Jack (17M). He has a friend named Scott. Scott has been recently coming over to our house a lot. My son always has friends over so it's no biggie plus Scott is one of the greatest kids out there. He was really shy at first like really shy. He wouldn't even make eye contact with me the first time we met. He would only mumble words at me when I asked him questions. Anytime we invited to stay for dinner we would mumble something about not wanting to be a pain and he'll leave. Eventually, Scotty got more and more comfortable around me. I think it's cause Jack helped him become a more confident dude. Scotty went from this shy quiet kid to one of the funniest people I know. He would stay for dinner and just make me and Jack both choke on our food from laughing. He was also so respectful and would always clean up after himself and always ask me if there was something he could do to help. None of Jack's other friends ever did that. He automatically became my favorite. Sometimes Scott would be really sore or aching in his body. I just assumed he played sports because i remember Jack telling me about how athletic Scott, but I was always worried about him because I used to play football and wrestle and I would never get as sore as Scotty looked. I stupidly let it go. A month ago Scotty showed up one day with a black eye. When I asked him about it he said he got beat up by some kid at school. When I asked Jack about it after Scotty left he told me he didn't know who the kid was and Scotty wouldn't tell him. Again, I stupidly let it go. The thing that really set me off happened last week. Scotty Jack and I were cleaning up after dinner. We were joking around and Scott made a joke about how I was old man. I went to go playfully punch him on the shoulder, something I always do with my son and his other friends so I thought it was fine. Scott looked terrified and he jumped and dropped the plate we was holding with such force it broke and he just got on his knees and picked up the broken plate while apologizing like a thousand times. I told him it was okay and tried comforting him, but he just said goodbye to Jack and I and left. I haven't seen him since. Jack and I were really thrown off about the experience. Jack is worried for his friend since he keeps saying he can't come over. I'm also very worried. I've convinced myself that he is being abused, but I have no real proof. I asked Jack what he knows about Scott's family, but he told me Scott never speaks about them. I don't know what to do. Should I ask Scott about it the next time I do it? Should I tell Jack to talk to Scott about it? Should I notify social services? Is he even being abused? I don't know please help with any advice. Thank you.

Cartel (or alternatively as “Cartel: Palm City” or "Cartel: Miami" ) would be an open world title based on the Mafia Games, the GTA games and the Saints Row games, with elements of Battlefield: Hardline thrown in with an array of weapons and vehicles based on their real life counterparts.
Gameplay wise the driving would be like Need for Speed titles, and on foot and shooting mechanics like BF: Hardline and Saints Row. Plus you can customize your cars and weapons to the same extent in BF: 2042 and some cars would allow for mounted weapons,on foot you can execute people with your equipped weapon like in The Godfather games. On foot would be an FPS view (you can change to a third person view as well) same with having an FPS view in your car.
There would an single player experience point system (like in BF Hardline single player) you gain XP from killing gangsters, and cops blowing up or capturing enemy vehicles and completing main missions, side missions and activities also there will be 15 levels to achieve with each level up unlocking new weapons, vehicles and customization for your weapons and vehicles. As well as a New Game Plus (NG+) where everything you unlocked is carried over and you can also play on the higher difficulties through NG+.
Also there would be five wanted levels for police and five vendetta levels for the gangs should you reach level five gang vendetta you start a Gang War there are three ways to stop a Gang War either bribe the feds, blow up a gang stronghold, or hide out in a safe house. Police wanted levels one and two local units would come after the player, at police wanted level two or three the state police would come after the player. At wanted level four and five the feds would come after the player. The military will only come after the player if they trespass in Fort Rockport or the Palmount Naval Shipyard
The Storyline
In Cartel: Palm City; in a different universe and timeline where there's a total prohibition of all narcotics in the United States in 2010; tells the story of Jack Rourke (the player character) a hardworking rideshare driver at day and a street racer at night who's scraping by in Palm City circa 2019. One fateful night, Jack Rourke has an inadvertent brush with the Blackwell Syndicate (mainly Carl Stoddard and that showcases a life of reward too big to ignore. As he joins the Blackwell Syndicate who are fighting for control of Palm City against five other criminal groups and take the city for the Blackwell Syndicate including recovering evidence that could not only convict the Blackwell Syndicate, as well as a network of crime lords in many countries, (including the other gang’s backers) including the Blackwell Syndicate's backers the Mob and it would also directly implicate the CIA in Palm City’s drug trade with Jack Rourke earning the nickname “El Sicario” for his efforts in driving the other gangs out of Palm City. When he learns how much the drugs were hurting the people of Palm City and all over the country as well as learning that the Blackwell Syndicate had gotten into the drug trade themselves, he contacts FBI agent Chase Linh who relays the story to her and offers the evidence and his testimony in exchange for full immunity for him and his associates, and the evidence on the computer was enough to convict everyone form all the five gangs, but also their crime lord backers from at least half a dozen countries, as well implicating the CIA in this as well as lobbying efforts to keep all narcotics prohibited, leading to a new administration repealing the Narcotics Prohibition law and legalizing low level cannabis. Mission Structure
Prolog (2019)

1. The Birth of Art - After winning a big race, Jack Rourke collects the winnings at the Palm City Historical Museum
2. An Offer you Can't Refuse - Jack Rourke must evade Volk sicarios with Tyson Lachford and Carl Stoddard members of the Blackwell Syndicate
3. Race Day - After the events of the last mission, Jack Rourke partakes in a race day event and wins three events with his Porsche 911 Carrera S (991) '12
4. Running Man - Volk sicarios Niko and Dimitri crashes the race day and Jack must get to the Blackwell Garage

Chapter 1 (2019-2021)

1. M34 Party - Jack Rourke joins the Blackwell Syndicate and gets acquainted with everyone before going with Tyson in a Pontiac GTO '05 to burn the Volk's cars with M34 Incendiary Grenades as well as stealing GMAC's Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4
2. Standard Routine - Jack Rourke rolls with Tyson, Stoddard and Jonathan Cross to collect protection money but things go south when they collect from a hotel out of town and Jack Rourke chases after the hotel owner in Cross' car.
3. Fair Play - Jack Rourke is tasked with stealing Ryan Cooper's Nissan 240SX and sabotaging it on the eve of the biggest Speedhunter race of the year, the SpeedHunter Championship Finals and in a last minute swap Jack Rourke has to race in place of Tyler Morgan
4. Mia Townsend - Jack Rourke is tasked with taking Mia Townsend out for a night at the city... until a gang of Wraith street racers led by Caleb Reece hassles her and Jack Rourke takes them on in a fight
5. Get Used To It - After the events of the previous mission Jack Rourke and Tyson Latchford are sent to teach the Wraiths a lesson But Caleb Reece makes it serious and Caleb Reece is wound up being killed by Tyson after a chase around the city alongside Danny Shaw.
6. The Saint and The Sinner - It's revealed thtat Caleb Reece was Chief Norris' best friend, and Danny Shaw survives the crash however Stoddard would handle Shaw as Jack Rourke is tasked with infiltrating the Elmore Plaza Hotel and has to kill the manager, Nikki Morris and bomb the hotel before escaping to a funeral and confronts, Danny Shaw and Frank Mercer who are also in attendance. Jack Rourke kills Shaw and nearly kills Frank as well. But Frank tasers Rourke and escapes. It would be revealed that some of the Volk sicarios recognized Sotddard and had to deal with them, then the two escaped in a hearse.

Chapter 2 (2021)

1. A Trip to the Countryside - In order to get a large supply of cannabis from Mexico, Jack Rourke takes a team to retrieve the Mexican from Mexican smugglers only to be ambushed by Los Zetas L.S 16 and Volk sicarios, then it's revealed that Roman had paid off the FBI to go after Rourke and his teammates then they came off with the cannabis killing their pursuers in the process.
2. Code of Silence - The evidence that Tyson and Stoddard had ripped from the Volk had fallen in the hands of Hector Maio who cut a deal with the FBI, total immunity for the evidence and Jack Rouke is tasked with killing him and retrieving the evidence
3. Visiting Rich People - Jack Rourke is tasked with sabotaging a federal proscutor's case against The Mob, the Blackwell Syndicate's backers as well as killing the federal prosecutor in charge of the case.
4. Visiting Powerful People - Jack Rourke is tasked with meeting and protecting a powerful member of Palm City's elite, the owner of Prefered Outcomes Julian Daws... though he more than meets the eyes of Jack Rourke
5. Agent Dawes - Julian Daws is revealed to be a CIA agent who is tasked with keeping the flow of drugs to Jack's surprise and that he is backing the Blackwell Syndicate through Prefered Outcomes.
6. The Drug Trade - Julian Daws walks Jack Rourke through Palm City's drug trade and how the illicit street racing scene is used as a cover to smuggle drugs.
7. Great Deal - Tyson Lachford scores a major deal with a drug farm in Georgia who promises to supply them with large amounts of drugs in exchange for access to databases concerning highway patrol routes; however when the deal goes down at a parking garage, the Volk and L.S 16 ambush them.
8. Bon Appetit - Jack Rourke drives Eva Torrez, Marcus Blackwell and Julian Daws to the rebuilt Elmore Plaza Hotel for brunch only for Niko and Dimirti with a Volk hit squad to blast the entire lobby with gunfire and C4 explosives, Jack Rourke vaults over with Eva Torrez, Marcus Blackwell and Julian Daws, there Jack Rourke and Eva Torrez rush out through the side entrance and confronts the hit squad with Jack Rourke killing both Niko and Dimirti. However Blackwell wants Jack to confront Jonathan Cross at a doughnut store and reveals that the Volk threatened to turn him over to IAD and is chased throughout the city with Marcus Blackwell putting Cross on permanent retirement by killing him with a Lupara.

Chapter 3 (Finishing the other gangs and downfall of Jack Rourke) (late 2021)

1. Happy Anniversary - Jack Rourke is tasked with completing a contract hit against Frank Mercer at the fifth anniversary of the formation of the High-Speed Task Force by firing a sniper rifle stashed in a bathroom
2. You Lucky Bastard - After a failed attempt to kill Razor; Roman's personal driver and #2 of the Volk, Jack Rourke is given the contract to kill Razor, first by car bomb but ends up killing Deputy Chief Jack Keller. instead of Razor. Jack Rourke, Tyson and Stoddard would later find Razer at a Burger King. In this Rourke can choose to kill or spare Razor. Rourke would spare him after he tells him that the CIA is deeper in Palm City's drug trade than Jack Rourke is led to believe
3. Creme de la Creme - Marcus Blackwell plans to kill Roman, Niko, Demintri and Chan Wu in front of the city's Creme de la Creme, the mayor, the police chief, the FBI director and even the city's richest elite. However things go south and Jack Rourke chases Roman and Niko at the airport where they get to a private jet but is shot down and crash lands on the Cross Mermeroral Bridge Chan Wu is still alive and Jack Rourke executes him and leaves before the cops show up.
4. Plugging the Chief - After the events of Creme de la Creme; Chief Norris places to take on the Blackwell Syndicate and to dismantle them, and a contract hit is placed on him where Jack Rourke accepts the contract and kills Chief Norris.
5. Election Campaign - The State Governor had launched his reelection bid with the promise get tough on the cartels that had plagued Palm City and like Chief Norris has a contract hit out on him which Jack Rourke is tasked with taking, using a sniper rifle
6. Just for Relaxation - Marcus Blackwell tells Jack Rourke about a shipment of Cuban cigars as well as a hidden shipment of diamonds (hot ice) straight from Africa however and Jack Rourke takes a crew to retrieve the shipment from federal customs however it's revealed that instead of diamonds it's Cold Shot... the same drug being pushed by the other gangs.
7. The Truth - Jack Rourke and Kahi Minh Dao eavesdrop on Marcus Blackwell and Julain Daws and they learn the truth.
8. Moonlighting - Jack Rourke after knowing about the truth takes Tyson to rob the Palm CIty First National in order to retire from the sicario lifestyle and gets into a massive shootout with the PCPD Heat-style.
9. The Death of Art - After the heist of Palm City First National Jack Rourke finds Tyson dead and meets Stoddard at the museum only to find out that Stoddard knew about the heist, and used his share of the drug money and clout at Prefered Outcomes to buy out The7 as his personal hit squad, however Jack Rourke manages to kill every member of The7 but spares Stoddard (the player can also kill him but canonically Jack Rourke spares him)

Epilogue (2022)
After the trial and the repeal of the Jack Rurke is placed in the Witness Protection Program in Lakeshore City but six months later after the repeal of the Narcotics Prohibition Jack Rourke would be gunned down by members of the West Side Club, Dimitri "Dima" Mayakovsky and Henry "Black" Blackburn.
The Gangs of Palm City
L.S 16 (Los Salmos 16) - Also known as The Salmos. Backed by the most powerful Mexican drug lords and the most powerful arms traffickers in the world, L.S 16 once ruled all of Palm City In fear until The House stepped in. They’re also the strongest gang in the game with access to military grade weapons and vehicles and each gang kill from them awards 500-1,500 XP depending on the enemy type. They are led by Neil Roark.
The House - The House is a gambling gang with strong ties and backed by the Sicilian Mafia; they run the street scene and the casinos in Palm City. They’re pretty strong but weaker than L.S 16, and they have access to military grade weapons and vehicles each gang kills from them awards 250-800 XP depending on the enemy type. Headed by Lina Navarro.
The Volk - The Volk is a Chinese-Russian gang led by Roman Barkov with Niko Barkov as their enforcer backed by the Triads (Chan Wu), the Russian Mob (Dimitri Glebov), and GMAC's crew (Gregory "GMAC" MacDonald, Rose Largo) for cars who control the weapon smuggling and arms dealing in Palm City. With this backing and access to military grade weapons. They are a mid tier gang and each gang kill from them awards 200-600 XP depending on the enemy type. They are also the ones who go after the Blackwell Syndicate the most.
Palm Kings - The Palm Kings (PKs) is a Black gang made up of Black nationalists who controls Palm Harbor’s rackets and extorts store owners. Led by Benny King, they’re equipped with police-grade weaponry and has strong ties with the PCPD despite this, they are the second weakest gang in the game and each gang kill from them awards 150-500 XP depending if it's a regular to elite
Dixie Paladins - The Dixie Paladins are a white supremacy gang and a militarized version of the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) who controls the Gold Coast Mountains in the mountainous regions of Palm City. they’re the weakest gang in the game and each gang kill from them awards 100-250 XP from regular to elite members. They are led by Tony Alpert
Blackwell Syndicate - The Blackwell Syndicate is a underground criminal organization based in Palm City and is led by Marcus Blackwell with Julian “Julius” Little as underboss, Hector Maio before "Code of Silence" and Zack Maio after "Code of Silence". Nick Mendoza. Khai Minh Dao and Carl Stoddard are caporegimes and Tyson Latchford, Tyler "Ty" Morgan, Sean "Mac" McAlister, Jessica "Jess" Miller as soldiers. Other members include Ravindra "Rav" Chaudhry as the gang's car expert Rachel Teller as the gang's customization expert, Marcus “Boomer” Boone as the gang's weapon experts. The Blackwell Syndicate would be the gang that the player would join. In Act 1, they're an outside and fast tracked to soldier, but in Act 2 the player would be a capo until the end of the game. They are secretly backed by both The Mob and the CIA through Agent Dawes. Jonathan Cross and Mia Townsend are also on the gang's payroll until "Bon Appetit" where Marcus Blackwell executes him with a 870P Magnum to the head. Also Mia would also go with Jack Rourke as well
The police/military force
PCPD - the police force of Palm City/Miami if the player does hostile acts (killing civilians, firing unsuppressed weapons in public, etc) will attract police attention and each kill from them awards 50 XP for regular members and 100 XP for armored members, However the player can bribe the PCPD to look the other way or will even help the player fight the other gangs but would be the target of higher level police forces. (Sort of like it was in The Godfather game) The player can also buy favors from them as well. Also they’ll deploy stronger units at higher heat level alongside the FBI. The cars PCPD drives are the Ford Crown Victoria, Dodge Challenger, Pontiac GTO, and the Chevy Grand Sport
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) - The state police force and Only appears in wanted levels 3 and above, Each kill from them awards 75 XP for regular state troopers and 150 XP for tactical state troopers. Regular state troopers drives Ford Mustang GTs tactical state troopers drives Nissan GT-R
FBI - Only appears in wanted level 5 the FBI will be called in if the player continues to retaliate against the PCPD. Each kill from them awards 125 XP for regular agents, 250 XP for FBI SWAT and 375 XP for FBI HRT, Like the PCPD the player can bribe the FBI to look the other way, or even help the player fight gangs, or the PCPD but at the second highest price. The FBI also has the second widest array of favors the player can buy. regular agents drives the Nissan 350Z or Porsche 911 GT3 RS, FBI SWAT drives the - Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster or Ford F-150 SVT Raptor L.E. and FBI HRT drives the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X or Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR
Military - Only goes after the player if they trespass in Fort Rockport or the Palmount Naval Shipyard. Each kill from them awards 200 XP for regs, 400 XP for experienced troops and 600 XP for elite troops. Like the PCPD, State Police and the FBI, the player can bribe the military to look the other way, or even help the player fight gangs, the PCPD, State Police or even the FBI but at the highest price and The military also has the widest array of favors the player can buy in large part due to Agent Dawes’ connections in Washington.
Multiplayer portion of the game would take place during the five cartels war where the Blackwell Syndicate, The Volk, Palm Kings, Dixie Paldines, Los Salmos 16, and The House (basically where Jack Rourke glosses over saying "It was non-stop chaos for weeks")
Also there would be a free ride mode where the player can explore the city at their leisure or pick a fight with either other cartels or the cops.

Background information: Eva (fake name) and I are both 18 now but were dating from the age of 16 and have been friends for a few years outside of that. I (and my family) have a bit of a history of mental health problems that have been a large part of my life through my childhood and adolescence, especially since lockdown and the whole remote learning thing, and I have been diagnosed with depression and anxiety disorder along with adhd and asd.
A few years ago I met Eva, and something seemed to just click. Although we were both still very young and romantic relationships were a thing for the far future, there was just an immediate connection and we became great friends very quickly. After about 3 years of friendship with a little flirting mixed in, I finally worked up the courage to ask her out. To my surprise, she said yes immediately (I imagine she had been waiting for a while).
Things started off strong and we were growing closer and closer over time, we did everything and I was happier than ever. At some point during summer last year my mental health started to worsen. Eva tried to be there for me and was always so supportive of me. However, I refused to seek or accept any help from the people around me or therapy. Although I didn't realise it then I was driving a wedge between us. This became especially clear in September when we returned to school, my attendance dropped and because of this I was spending less and less time with Eva and when we were together I was cold and withdrawn. I noticed that we were spending less time together and I made an attempt to fix things but I think I ended up making it all worse as I became very clingy because I was scared to lose her. Along with this, my increasing self-harm and our approaching mock A levels were driving stress through the roof for both of us.
At the start of November, less than a week before exam leave, I was saying goodbye to Eva as I left her outside her house when she suddenly turned very serious and told me that we should break up. I was stunned. I didn't know what to say. After a few long seconds of silence I asked her if we could just not do this now and talk about it properly another time but she had made up her mind. That was the longest walk home I've ever experienced. Nothing quite felt real, almost like I was dreaming. I got home and went straight to my room without talking to anyone and just sat for what felt like hours doing nothing, not even thinking. I just sat there staring out the window. Eventually I got my phone out and texted her, I put my heart and soul into that message explaining as best I could how I felt about her, how I was trying to get better and just how much I loved her. But she was adamant. She said that she was just stressed by exams and wanted to focus on herself, but unfortunately I know her too well and I could tell that I was the problem. I of course don't blame her. i don't think anyone wants to date a depressed suicidal time bomb that could go off at any point. But that didn't make it hurt any less and my self harm got significantly worse. In the week following I managed to distract myself by compulsively revising for the upcoming mocks which was pretty successful.
After the exams when school routine returned, I fell apart. With nothing to sufficiently distract me I was practically unable to think of anything other than Eva. I was in school for a few days and it quickly became too much. I could hardly get out of bed let alone go to school. I was in a downward spiral and I was getting worse and worse every day. Eventually it became too much and I snapped. In early December I attempted to end my own life. I won't go into details here because it's still a touchy topic for me. During this ordeal I sent a final goodbye message to Eva saying that I still loved her and I was sorry for how things ended. I eventually passed out and was awoken by my family and promptly went to the hospital where I was glued up and placed under watch. I stayed there for a few nights before I was let go after agreeing to start therapy. I was then diagnosed with depression and anxiety and started taking antidepressants.
I have since been on a journey to try and get better I've made an effort to do more things for myself such as picking up guitar again which is something I've always been passionate about but I hadn't been doing as much in the last year I've also started taking my dog to training which has got me out of the house and doing some exercise. I haven't, however, been in school much and my attendance has been at an all time low which obviously isn't great now that I'm doing my A levels but I've managed. I've also finally started talking therapy which took a hot minute to actually happen (thanks NHS and CAMHs). I'm lucky enough to have very supportive parents that have helped me along the way. I've even managed to largely be SH free since the incident, largely thanks to anything remotely sharp being locked in a safe, but I'll take the win. Throughout all of this though, the one thing I haven't been able to talk about is Eva and my relationship with her. My parents and therapist are aware of this and aren't pushy about it, but I know I'll have to confront it at some point. The thing is, I still love her. I still spend hours thinking about her, I still see her in my dreams. And every time I see her all these feelings come rushing back. the anger at myself, the emptiness i feel without her, and how happy she made me.
I guess I just need an outside view. Do I tell her how I feel? Do i just forget and move on? I feel either way I have to apologise for what I put her through and what a horrible person I must have been to be around. I don't know if I have any chance of rebuilding what we had but even if there's the smallest chance I feel I need to try. I need advice on how I should approach this. If at all, please help. And don't hit me with the 'your so young it just seems like a big deal' this isn't just a romantic relationship but also a great friendship that I greatly miss.

A few weeks ago I was talking with my parents about struggling to find the motivation to talk to people. They proceeded give each other “the look” and it hurt me. It makes me realize how often I was judged before I was told what to do.
I was virtually raised by my iPad and was never encouraged to do any extracurriculars so I was a very lonely and unathletic child, most of my childhood memories consist of YouTube videos. I didn’t get much active parenting in the socialization part of my childhood, it was just “go out there and do whatever as long as you get good grades”. I really wish they would’ve gave me a push for anything besides grades.
I remember in middle school, my mother was pissed off one day and finally started yelling at me about how I just sit and do nothing. It didn’t really help me do anything at all though, nobody encouraged me to and at that point I was already in a major depression. All I would do was read manga online and daydream, sometimes I started to look at gore just to feel something, I had a raging porn addiction (still somewhat do) and couldn’t look at anyone in real life.
I’m damn near 20 now and I’ve recovered, I have a lot of hobbies of my own now, but I’m still incredibly socially awkward from my lack of childhood friends and experiences. I can’t pick up on common sense and I have a very awkward personality. I’m very distant from the rest of my family. My classmates seem to have a lot of friends and I’m still just off to the side despite my efforts. I don’t even use media that much anymore, I’ve been limiting my screen time ever since I was 16. I have a lot of interests and skills I’ve learned but I still feel like my lack of experience is killing me.
It’s like I’m a lost cause. My siblings don’t have this issue, they also weren’t given as much device freedom as me. I feel like less, so inferior to everyone else, like my brain is forever numbed from that shit critical period of mine.
Sometimes I like to age regress to feel like I’m making up for the childhood I didn’t have, playing with Barbies and looking at old kids makeup kits and pretending I’m with other girls and actually talking to them. That never really happened in my childhood to me but the idea of it relaxes me a lot.
I don’t know where I’m going with this. I just think I’m like overgrown child now and it makes me feel sad knowing how much more socially intelligent everyone else is.

Korean fan here. (Never mind my username, we all move countries and become settlers overseas)
I am aware that Kim will most likely activate his buyout clause in the first two weeks of July and likely Manchester United of the EPL will go after him.
However, as a Korean fan who's personally been to the city of Napoli and loved the people of Italia many years ago and how Kim has been loved by the local fans since the beginning of the season, I hope Napoli can continue to build a positive relationship with Korean football players even if Kim leaves for good this summer.
I don't know the team's philosophy on youth recruitment and development, but in the current U20 World Cup, Korea has made it to quarter finals after beating Ecuador by 3-2 last night and there's a prospective Centreback named Kim Jisoo (born Dec 2004, playing for Seongnam FC of K Leauge 2 division. 8 years younger than Kim).
Kim is about an inch taller than Kim (Kim is 192cm and Kim is 190cm) and his game play style definitely reminds me of how Kim has done with Jeonbuk Hyundai, Beijing Guoan, Fenerbache, and Napoli. His passing ability and positioning seem pretty good for his age and 2023 is his second season as a pro player in the K League 1 and 2 (Seongnam FC had unfortunately been relegated to K League 2 this season).
Brentford FC sent Seongnam FC an official offer for about 700k and Bayern Munich was once also was interested in him as well.
I hope Napoli can consider recruiting Kim and send him somewhere on a loan for him to get some consistent game time and grow, maybe in Seria B or C or perhaps a different European league like Austria Bundesliga first and can eventually have Kim as CB to replace Kim in the future.

Now that my 4 year old HP Pavilion Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and Vega 8 Graphics laptop is starting to fall apart, I am currently picking the parts for my first pc build for productivity/streaming/gaming. However, I am having trouble choosing which GPU to buy. I am making a build that is primarily orientated for productivity purposes while being able to live stream some of the games I play. In terms of productivity, the relevant benchmarks I primarily use are Blender, Adobe Premier Pro, Photoshop and Illustrate (note: Davinci Resolve has recently piqued my interest so I have tried adjusting my parts to fit the needed system requirements in case I do install it). Gaming wise, I want to be able to livestream the games I play in high or ultra 1080p. In the list, the BenQ Mobiuz EX2510S is a used one which I already bought from a friend who recently upgraded to a 1440p monitor. Most of the games I play are fighting games like Guilty Gear Strive and Granblue Fantasy Versus, games like Warframe and the Monster Hunter series and indie games that do not require much from my 4 year old Hp Pavilion with a Ryzen 5 3500U CPU and Vega 8 Graphics. However, since I'm building a new pc, I do want to be able to both stream and play the more beefier benchmark games like God of War, Elden Ring and also the upcoming Armored Core 6 on 1080p High-Ultra settings. I don't care about Ray Tracing, I just want to experience smooth gameplay without having to reduce the game's resolution and without picking the lowest graphics settings.
From what I understand about the two main GPU companies, NVIDIA cards are better for productivity and have better encoding for streaming while AMD cards offer better gaming experience at a better price. The RTX 4070 was picked in my list for its performance and the fact that it is a NVIDIA card suitable for productivity/streaming/gaming. However, the 4070 goes for $800 CAD while only having 12GB RAM (but then again, it is considered to be the best performance value among NVIDIA's 40s series cards). On AMD's side, many online have recommended the 6800xt over the 4070 for its 16GB RAM while being within a similar price range. Some have also mentioned that AMD's encoding is starting to get better, but I do not know if this information is credible. But, the consensus online is that since I am making build focusing on productivity, NVIDIA seems to be the better graphics card choice.
However, as mentioned before, the 4070's price has got me considering buying the RTX 3060 instead. While the 4070 does perform way better then the 3060, the latter is more budget friendly and prices at $450 CAD, has 12GB RAM like the 4070 and is recommended by many as a good performance/value for 1080p, which seems to be a good fit for my Mobiuz EX2510S. I have also seen on the Canadian Newegg store that the MSI 3060s are going through a price drop which makes it even more appealing than the 4070: https://www.newegg.ca/p/pl?d=3060 . I also saw the news of NVIDIA releasing a 4060ti 16GB in July, but after seeing the failure of the recent 8GB variant and the backlash online, I don't even know if the 16GB 4060ti should even be considered as a choice. While I do plan on upgrading to a 1440p setup, I don't think that will be happening in the near future.
TL;DR, the 3060 is slowly convincing me to be my final GPU choice for my productivity/streaming/gaming PC build due to its pricing and overall positive 1080p performance among users online. My concerns are: is the 3060 is still viable for productivity/streaming/gaming in 2023? or should I just straight up buy the 4070 for its recency and better performance? Or should I pick a god and pray for the 4060ti 16GB success? Or should I consider buying a AMD card or even Intel's affordable A770 with 16GB RAM?
