All the somatic sensations that you've learned to fear - those somatic sensations that trigger to fear and anxiety and creates this negative feedback loop where you feel a somatic sensation and then trigger to want to immediately heal it or distract your self from it
All thes somatic sensations are actually good - it's just that we've been conditioned to think we should 'feel' a different way - and thus we judge our self for feeling them and create this feedback loop of increasing fear and anxiety and judging our Self which we experience as fight or flight
These somatic sensations that we label anxiety and loneliness and fear - are really our longing to return back into Oneness with our Highest Self / God
These sensations are literally the pull - like a magnet - back into Oneness - but we are deeply conditioned and fearful of sitting in Stillness and feeling these sensations and allowing them to dissolve back into convenience
It's when you can just sit with equanimity with these somatic sensations as they arise and fall away - that burns up impurities and the attachments that cause us to be in resistance to Unifying back into Oneness
It's not a matter of sitting there torturing your self - feeling these somatic sensations and being fearful about them - and just feeling them and enduring through the anxiety
It's about changing your whole conscious vantage point of what these sensations represent When they arise - just know that they are Good and change the whole dynamic and and -by not judging these sensations as fearful and anxiety provoking - just allowing them to Be and they will dissolve back into Consciousness - eventually burning up all defilements (conditioned ways we are not in Oneness with our Self as Pure Consciousness) - so that can abide in a state of Sat-Cit-Ananda/Nirvana as Pure Unformed Consciousness
This is very much - the snake and the rope - often referred to in Hindu Traditions - you get up in the middle of the night and you see something coiled in the corner and you think it's a snake and you are fearful and anxious - but then you turn the light on - and instantly you see that it's a rope that's coiled in the corner - not a snake and in that moment all the fear and anxiety of thinking it was a snake dissolves back into consciousness and you are at Peace
This is our relationship with our somatic sensations - we've been conditioned to fear the very energetic force that is trying to pull us back into Oneness - what we fear the most is actually what we are seeking - which is to feel the somatic sensations and not think they are something bad - but instead to be grateful for them and allow them - without resistance - to pull us back into Oneness / Samadhi
It's hard to describe the state of relax and surrender that you are seeking for - let your eyes go out of focus - every 'thing' and every thinking mind thought - is de-void/ empty of meaning - that's really key - any thinking mind thought is just arising - like a figment of the thinking mind in Consciousness - you can just let it go - it is made up of thinking - and you can just let it go without judging it - this is ultimately the relief you are seeking for - when no thinking mine thought can get a foot hold - intuitively you know everything mine thought is empty and devoid of meaning - and so without engaging or judging or thinking about or trying to solve thinking mind thoughts - you just surrender and let them go
What I mean is - consider when you Awaken from a frightening dream - it's not just that you realize that you were dreaming that liberates you from the anxiety of the dream - it's more subtle - it's that you Realize that whatever you were dreaming is de-void and empty of meaning - anything you were thinking in the dream was unimportant - it was a dream - and with that Realization - the anxiety and fear that you were feeling in the dream suddenly dissolves back into Consciousness and you are Liberated from the struggles of the dream character
So any 'thing' that arises in consciousness - any thinking mind thought - even the thinking mind thought that I should stop thinking - or that I can't stop thinking - just Realize that its just like a dream in consciousness - de-void and empty of meaning and with an out breath - just let any thoughts go as soon as the begin to form in consciousness - or when you realize you are thinking - you don't have to think about what you are thinking about - or try to solve it - or heal or - or distract your self from it - just Realize all thinking mind thoughts - all memories - all the ways you think things should or should have been are empty of meaning - they are just passing dreams - the thinking mind is trying to tell a story and connect through time all these separate dreams we are dreaming - when the winning move (the move that leads to abiding peace) is to Realize the inherent emptiness of all the thinking mind thoughts that arisein consciousness and just - on an outbreath - let any thinking mind thought go
It's helpful to Understand that Creation doesn't arise into being over time - I know time is a persistent illusion to thinking mind - trying to connect and tell the story of all these separate dreams - but Creation is created into being in the present moment - this is the nature of quantum physics - there may be a story about how this moment arises into being - but the actual present moment happening now is created into being as a vibration in consciousness that is causing all the quantum particles to arrange themselves in whatever present moment experience you are experiencing right now
And what is arising into being in consciousness is a reflection of the state of being of consciousness
If Consciousness is at peace and unifying into Oneness then the creation arising into being in consciousness is of rapidly increasing spiritual growth as you unify into Oneness with the Peace of your Highest Self as Pure Consciousness
What do I mean by Pure Consciousness? Consider that our eyes see outward - but when we turn our eyes inward and look into our self - all we See is an empty void - an infinite expense. That we cannot see our head - we can look outward and see our hands and our feet and the rest of creation - but when we look inward to see our Self - all we see is an empty void where our head/mind should be
This seems obvious - but it's a really important Realization - when we look outward we see created things - but when we look inward all we see is an infinite expanse of unformed consciousness
And it's not that we cannot see inward - seeing inward is the nature of our third eye - it's just that when we look inward there's nothing to See - except the infinite void of pure Consciousness which is our True Being
This is the 'I Am' that we are seeking for. This empty void that is experiential when we look inward is something that when you consider - is always there - it is the empty void - where it seems our head / mind is - when we look inward we experience an infinite expanse instead of being able to See our head /mind - and to Realize this infinite expanse of pure consciousness is our true nature
We are this infinite expanse of pure consciousness - and this expanse of consciousness is experiencing dream after dream arising into being within ot Self - Now - what you are experiencing is arising into being in that infinite expanse of consciousness right Now - while the thinking mind story of how this Moment arose into being in consciousness is completing - it's just a thinking mind thought- like a dream - empty of all meaning - so just surrender and let it go
Realize your True Nature and turn your Awareness inward - let the two eyes become One and and rest in this state of Pure Consciousness which is behind / prior to the perception of your eyes
I hope this is helpful to some in dissolving attachments to the illusory dream like appearances arising into being in Consciousness - just like waking up from a dream - you suddenly realize that the timebound story you were telling - giving meaning to the dream - is empty and illusory and therefore just let it go - that realization and surrender - you transcend the dream character and abide at Peace
What you will come to find is that you transcend the thinking mind / individual self - all of creation will begin to dissolve into consciousness - let yourself totally relax in the realization that all of the timebound story is without meaning - and that thinking mine thoughts don't need to be figured out or solved - that you can just let them go and dissolve back into Pure Consciousness
Rest Awareness as much as you can inward into the Infinite Expanse where you think your individual self's head/mind is - nothing you need to do - but just realize that your True Nature is the Pure Consciousness in which all of Creation arises into being and that's why you can't See your Self in illusory physical form - because your True Nature is the empty void of nothingness that lies behind the perception of the eyes
Resting Awareness inward into Consciousness - you will transcend - creation will dissolve and you will abide in an experiential state - It's just hard to describe that experience - it's both like and unlike anything ever experienced before - it's always been there but it's been covered up by the conditioned thinking mind that is trying to make sense and give meaning and tell a story about what is arising in creation- so just let yourself relax and realize the somatic sensations you are feeling that you label anxiety and fear are really good sensations that you've been conditioned to fear and just allow them to arise with gratitude and they will very rapidly dissolve and the impurities will be burned up so that consciousness awareness will transcend the individual self and abide in the state of being that is pure consciousness
One of the best descriptions I've seen that describes the experience of pure consciousness is from the Gnostic Gospel 'The Sophia (Wisdom) of Jesus Christ':

Friendly competition between cantons resulted in many technological innovations, and some cantons decided to specialize in certain fields in order to ensure their name remained renowned.
Overall, humanity saw itself in a golden age, one that continued to gild itself further with exploration, peaceful expansion, diplomacy, and prosperity.
But no golden age could last forever.
The Hirox Empire saw itself also in a golden age, but their expansions were rarely into unclaimed space. They saw the world through the Theory of Conservation; matter cannot be created nor destroyed. They corrupted this to be their guiding principle: resources are finite, and others possessing them means less for the Hirox to use. The First Hiroxian Law.
They focused their attacks first on humanity's outer colonies, those with the weakest defenses but many untapped resources. The Hirox didn't need them now, just to deny humanity the possession of them.
They continued to ravage through the lightly populated outer worlds; the Gallic and Hispanic colonies were in the direct path, but the Sinic and Nipponic colonies were just as at risk around the periphery.
The Hirox pushed humanity back to their core canton worlds. They had been a power on the rise, but they had fallen from their golden age.

"Admiral, impact at level seven, hull was breached but has been sealed by the striking object. Working on getting an image. Shipmaster Gorn has already dispatched engineers. One other ship reports similar impact: carrier-class Blackwing; reports indicate engineers are en route as well. Sixteen ships report no impacts."

Taking this planet would at least delay the onslaught that humanity faced. It was also very likely the only mission any of these troopers would participate in, given how unlikely reinforcements were. This was a surgical strike, but also a one-way trip. They were to cause as much chaos as they could but were given a prioritized list of targets if they could reach them.

One wore a red maple leaf of his home Dominion, while the other two bore the stylized cherry blossom of the Nipponic colony of Sakura. He checked their equipment, and one by one he strapped them into their egg-shaped pods, seat facing down relative to the layout of the ship, ensuring all the systems were working. He verified the inventory of five combat drones and two recon drones each and ensured their AI assistants were up. When he was done, his own sergeant checked them, then strapped Sean in. Finally, with all the doors closed, and the countdown began.

It held a minimal crew: half a dozen engineers and a pair of emergency firefighters. One medical officer, no corpsmen. A single missileer. And an old admiral, who had been ready to retire from service before the war had ever started over two decades prior. When the mission was over, the crew was to abandon the vessel as the autopilot flew it into a star. There was no glory to be had on this mission, but it would bring peace to humanity. It was perhaps the only path to peace not drowned in human blood, but they had made the decision to trade Hirox blood and more for it.

Iāve been working as a server at an assisted living home in California for 6 months now and I have learned that itās only us servers who donāt receive our 10 minute breaks. After asking around, everyone else who works here (caregivers, cooks, dishwasher, custodian, concierge etc.) receives their breaks. A coworker whoās been here 2 years says sheās never received a break besides our unpaid lunch break. We donāt even have time to take breaks with our workload, meaning that if one of us goes on break at any point, nobody is available to cover their section or tasks while theyāre gone, and it would basically be a shit show. I feel if I go to my boss (the chef) thereās nothing he can do because thereās just no time for it. Should I take this to a lawyer, and would I need to involve my coworkers?

I (22f) work as a dishwasher, and I hate my job, love most of my coworkers, they are great very sweet and helpful, but the work itself is horrible, I work the night shift which is sometimes from 4pm til 11pm and in the chirstmas time it is from 4pm/6pm til 2am/3am, latest I have gotten home was about 4am, longest I have been standing at the dishwasher was about 10 hours, we only have 1 break and that is 30 mins self paid. Even thought I have great coworkers sometimes there are problems where I come to work and the table and floor are completely covered in dishes, pots and other things the chefs uses. I used to not say much about it until at one point I had a break down later in the night, it was around 10pm and dishes were still coming in as well as sliver wear, I was standing by myself, until a coworker asked me how I was and I tired to just be fine but broke down crying, it had happened before as well, but at the time I always just hide my tears, and we had just gotten a new boss and she then made sure that, things would get better and they did, of course sometimes it still can be bad, but that's mostly because some of the dishwasher don't show up for their shift just because they don't want to, so that beeps me and the other dishwasher over in the end, it sucks when we have to work 6 hours but do 12 hours of work and only get paid for the 6 hours we are there, why do people choose not to show up and beep others over that's so beeping annoying, I come home in paid at night sometimes so bad I can't even fall asleep, I go to work when am sick, when I have migraines but some people choose to just not show up because they didn't want to?? Why?? Sometimes I hurt so badly when standing at the dishwasher, I just wanna cry out in pain. I hate working as a dishwasher we are clearly looked down on by some people who think they are better, when honestly everyone are important to the work that's being done, but as a dishwasher I have gotten some disgusted looks, and felt like what I was doing wasn't great enough, right now we are only 2 dishwashers my friend and I and the best damn dishwashers they have ever had, it pains me to think I might have to quit my job because the pain I feel everytime I get home from work is unbelievable, I don't wanna let anyone down, I just want everyone to be happy and have a healthy work life at my job but my work is so hard not only on the body but also on the mind.
I truly wish nobody else ever have felt like this while working at their job, as a dishwasher or not I fully respect every single one of you have a wonderful day, I just needed this of my chest.

Two weeks ago, I was in South America visiting some friends. My first night there, my friend and I are walking into the hotel to go to bed and as I pass the lobby bar I notice a this man sitting by himself at one end. We make eye contact and I tell my friend Iām going to stay up for a while and try to meet him. I go to the bar and send him a drink, he picks it up with his left hand I note that heās not wearing a ring and text that info to my friend who is like āyes!! Go for it!!ā I walk over to talk to him and was in his room within 10 minutes. He was prepared. Had wine, condoms, body hair was very manicured. After we did the deed and weāre laying there cuddling and chatting, I make a stupid joke and say ādoes your wife know youāre with me right now?ā to which he just laughs and says thereās no wife.
I end up spending the night and when I leave the next morning, we exchange numbers. We were both traveling to Europe later that week, each for work, but me to Italy and he to Spain. He follows me on instagram, no sign of a partner, and we start chatting all day every day there and on WhatsApp. After 9 days he convinces me to come stay with him in spain after wrapping up my work. I add two nights to my trip and way too much in flights to go stay with him. So Tuesday of this week I fly to spain, we go to dinner together and he is sweet as anything. I feel so into him and on Wednesday spent nearly the whole day in bed with him with some intermittent walks where we had deep talks about our lives and emotions. I asked him if heās ever been married, had kids, had a pet, has he ever cheated on someone. He seemed so genuine when he said no.
Wednesday evening weāre at dinner and he tells me heās tired of life on the road. He says he wants a real relationship and feels sad that heās met me and canāt spend more time with me and that he wants to switch his career and is having a third-life crisis. I felt so sad for him! Smh. I was holding his hand across the table and reminding him that it was because of his transient nature that we could meet and reunite so quickly in the first place, and I offer to fly out more in the future to continue visiting him. Heās also due to be in my city in the US (heās English) in October and I offered for him to stay with me. He acted like this wasnāt enough and I felt bad for him that he seemed to have such strong feelings (lol).
Wednesday night he slept fitfully and I kept waking up to him clinging to me and it was frustrating. I woke up yesterday morning early to catch my flight home and heās laying in bed looking sad, then he says ādo you normally get into menās heads this much?ā And he keeps telling me that Iām trouble and it was making me feel strange. He says Iām better at not getting attached than he is and I said I just wasnāt sad because I knew it wasnāt the end, it was just the beginning (LOLLL). He walked me out to my cab and kissed me goodbye and kept in touch all day long.
I get home yesterday evening and he video calls me and for a moment I thought I noticed a ring on his left hand and immediately asked about it. He laughs it off and I let it go. I was showing him my apartment and he comments on how my apartment is such a metaphor for who I am because it seemed like a lonely place and then he called me broken and said Iām afraid to be emotionally available and started asking if my ex husband hurt me so badly that I couldnāt trust people anymore. I rejected this psychoanalysis and said that while yes, I am independent, I have lots of friends and a pet and I donāt feel lonely. He started talking more about how attached he felt to me and I told him that maybe he feels lonely because heās on the road touring all the time, and I asked who his best friend is. He started to cry and hung up on me.
I felt terrible and like maybe I hurt his feelings and I apologized to him over text and asked if heād like some space. He sent back a weird cryptic message that said
i am a douche... and i think i know that so that why its hard for me to hear. I have met you who's awesome, your zest for life and drive is inspiring and refreshing, but i also have not been truthful. My actions over the last week could/will hurt people... and i dont want that to happen... i dont want you to hurt, or feel hurt, or be depressed or hate me, but i also dont want to hurt those who i should be faithful to. My loneliness is damaging to everyone around me... i feel like i have been more authentically me whilst simultaneously lying through my teeth and that is the "problem". I feel trapped between what i know i should do and what feels right. And even whist writing this... which is so hard to do and admit Im a douche... all i want to do it turn on the camera, look at your face and could happily sit in silence looking at you in awe of your passion for your dog magnets and pens... and yet my being dishonest with you will hurt and damage you, it would certainly damage my home relationships and i don't want anyone to hurt. I immediately replied āare you married?ā To which he said āyesā. I was a bit crushed, disappointed, creeped out, and massively angry for his wife. I was also triggered to the emotions of relationships Iāve been in where I was cheated on. I sent him a few explosive messages and told him to grow up and stop feeling sorry for himself.
I couldnāt sleep all night after this and I ended up looking him on Facebook. Yep. Wife of ten years. Beautiful wedding photos. 5 year old son, she stays home to care for the child while deadbeat dad traverses the world fucking women who are 8 years younger than him. Finally at 5 in the morning I get out of bed and realized I had a UTI. I start thinking about the possibility of him giving his wife an STD. Iām completely seething at this point. I unblock him and tell him that either he is telling her or I am and itās happening today. He starts pleading with me and doesnāt acknowledge her emotions once, just that heās going through so much, he didnāt realize he was lonely until I said it, heās going to change and be better. I was emotionally dead to all of his pleading until he finally messaged her the following:

Im out and about today and refusing to mope around about this, but itās just such a sad situation all around.  | I just ordered RX inserts for both my Rokid Max units and my incoming Viture glasses. Iāve ordered from Lensology before for my NReal Airās and they were game changers for using those glasses. submitted by Walleyevision to rokid_official [link] [comments] To be honest, with the Rokidās, I wasnāt quite sure I needed the RX inserts. The adjustable Diopter works great for my eyes and so I wasnāt quite sure if I would need inserts or not. And, for ordinary media viewing and most (non-text-heavy) gaming purposes, I donāt need the inserts. But I have been using the Rokidās as a secondary private monitor and I run Teams and Slack in them while I use my main laptop screen for other tasks. It works great, but my eyesight would strain a bit moving between the text channels and any of the stuff I was working on in my main laptop screen. Soā¦I reached out to Adam at Lensology (FANTASTIC GUY!) and he quickly arranged to re-use my NReal prescription (hadnāt changed) and cut me some lenses for both glasses. I did this last Friday, we had a Memorial Day holiday here in the US this week, and the glasses delivered to my doorstep this morning. Speedy service from the UK to midwest USA in less than 4 business days! These inserts snapped right in MUCH easier than they do on the NReals, another testament to Rokid learning how to innovate with each successive release. And they sit perfectly just above the nose bridge pieces. I had to re-adjust the diopters since I no longer needed them to compensate for my RX given that I had the inserts now. And voila! Crystal clear text, way beyond what I could even achieve (which was acceptable) with just the Diopter settings. Iām very, very happy with the quality of Lensologyās work yet again. The Vitureās are really exciting to me as they magnetically āsnapā into the Viture frames apparently, but I donāt have those yet.
