I purchased a replacement screen (appears to be OEM teardown part) from ebay auction for my Hp ENVY x360 AR-0007CA. The seller claimed it was tested and functional. However there were no photos of such. It did appear intact and without issue. It was shipped from Canada to Canada.
Prior to purchase, I tested the laptop by plugging it into an Hdmi monitor and it worked fine.
See the photos below. I have also posted a photo of the old screen which, although very cracked and artifacty, displays content in the areas the replacement screen cannot. I have used both the old and supplied display cables.
The replacement screen also came slightly damaged. The corner plastic bezel is cracked. I was willing to let that slide but obviously with the screen non functioning, I cannot accept this replacement. Perhaps it was damaged in transport, however it's hard to tell whether this damage existed prior to shipping as the seller photos are not detailed enough.
I have contacted the seller, who does not accept returns. I am awaiting his response. I will look into ebay buyers guarantee to escalate.
It is quite difficult to find this part, especially an OEM part. Is there anything else I can do before returning this?

By now you know about the horrible air pollution in NYC and how it's so bad you can't go outside without extensive protection, can't walk dogs, etc. It's a huge issue and I have nothing but sympathy for those impacted.
I have a friend who was born and raised in rural Wisconsin and moved to NYC for a year. She then moved to Chicago because supposedly her rent would've gone up $500 if she stayed and she didn't like the humidity anyway.
We were talking about the orange skies out there today, and she looked kind of upset. She brought up how her apartment's windows didn't close all the way, so she and her cat, who both have asthma, would've had severe health complications. And she literally said, "Dude. She could've died if I was able to renew my lease. That's so messed up to think about." I told her that she doesn't need to make this whole thing about herself. She said, "Are you serious? That's not what I'm doing." I pointed out that she's done that for a certain other event, too, by cussing people out for making stupid jokes about it. She said she wouldn't be having this conversation with me because I never lived in NYC, let alone visited it, and that I wouldn't understand. I calmly told her, "You lived there for 1 year. New Yorkers don't like when transplants pull that kind of thing. Especially if they only lived there for a year." She said I was making massive leaps, being dramatic, speaking on behalf of others, etc. Eventually she said, "Actually, I'm just gonna block your number because I just realized you've done this bullshit before many times." And she hung up on me.
AITA? Going to point out that she has anxiety and overreacts a lot. And believe it or not, we're both in our 20s.

As you know, Concept Management has sent several informative emails regarding the delay to the report. The business aims to create the best possible results for investors and our company. The email content and sections in the report, except the financial figures, are standard. As a matter of fact, and as a nature of the business, not all the farmlands have the same development standards. Some projects produce better than others, and some of the projects have more cost than others. If we didn’t take these actions, we would be affected much more negatively. The Turkish government has decreased the import tax for walnuts to 4%, which was 42% in the past. This has affected the price of the domestic walnut dramatically, and all the walnut producers have been suffering from low prices in the entire country. It is very important for you to read the attachments for that matter and that is why Concept Management needs the support of the investors for us to be able to get through these extremely challenging times. Many farmland owners came to Manisa, and they were very supportive. On the other hand, some people are extremely damaging, and they don't realize that they don't only damage Concept Management but also the other farmland owners. I am ready to assist any farmland owner with my engineers and answer any questions. I am always on the field, and I am managing a big team for the success of the development of these lands. Regarding the mid-year reports, all the new photos and videos will be added to the “Showmyland” platform in the June-July period so you can have all the updates. In terms of the organization, we are covering a complex organization as there is also a bureaucratic side of the business. All the departments have the necessary labor force, and we have a lot of outgoings and expenses. Trees and farming business is a business where we deal with a living organization where we can't compromise from fertilizers, chemicals, etc... My grandma died in October and I didn’t say goodbye.
She’d been sick with terminal cancer for almost a year, and in that time I only spoke to her a handful of times, if that. The thing is, I wasn’t supposed to know she had cancer. My mom told me, but wanted me to pretend I didn’t know, so that I would talk to her as if I thought she’d be alright. But how could I? Knowing that her days were numbered, I couldn’t bring myself to pretend everything was fine. Hell, even if I’d been allowed to address her condition, I preferred to distance myself from her even more than the ocean that separated us (she lived in Colombia 🇨🇴, where my whole family and I are from. I live in the US). I didn’t call. I was already accepting her death long before it actually happened. The week before she died, my mom told me she would call me later that week and put me on the phone with her to let her know I love her and that I’d be okay, because she was always worrying about me. She knew my grandma’s time was almost up, but she still overestimated how long she had. My grandma died before my mom ever called me. At first I felt more numb than sad, because I’d been ready for it. I’d been waiting. Honestly hoping she would go soon because she was suffering tremendously near the end. But then like a week after she died, I broke down in inconsolable sobs. I realized how in trying to spare myself the pain of talking to her, knowing I’d lose her soon; I lost her sooner than she died. I’ll never see her again, and not only did I not get to say goodbye, but I barely talked to her her whole last sickly year. I don’t know if I’ll ever forgive myself for that. But I mourned her and have mostly come to the acceptance stage of grief. For several months I was in denial. She was there my whole life, and then she wasn’t. The fact that I didn’t see her die or say goodbye made it even harder to accept. Alas, I was about as over it as you can get. I don’t think about her as much anymore, but when I do, I sigh the deepest sighs…
I started replaying New Vegas a few weeks ago after being done with and away from it for about a year. When I picked Lily up this playthrough and subsequently dismissed her, “Grandma will miss her little pumpkin. You promise to visit Grandma soon.” put tears in my eyes. So I can’t fuck with the humor in this post. I would love to have my grandma there to knit me “I ❤️ Grandma” sweaters that I’d wear proudly and cheer me on and feed me her special recipes of treats and fill my head with her worries for my safety and wellbeing, even as busy as I am with work and my personal life.
Appreciate your grandmas, and for the love you have for them, don’t be afraid to say goodbye, because you’ll regret it for the rest of your life if you don’t.

So I just picked one up today. I went all black tactical commander size with chainlink all around on grip and "dual" slide cut. No magwell and flat trigger. Here are my initial takeaways having fondled it but not yet having had a chance to make a range day yet.

1. The gun is fairly tightly fit. Required a bushing wrench to disassemble/assemble. Not "Les Baer... you better set aside 500 rounds of hot ammo to break this in before it even works" tight.... but I'd say it's more well fit and blended than Staccatos, which are, after all, production guns... whereas this is sort of a super underpriced semicustom. Upon disassembly I see that the finish has already worn to silver on the sides and top of the rails... probably from test fire. That's a tight gun.
2. Not a fan of the safety they use. It's not super positive, and it's a bit tough to snap on (snapping it off is fine)... seems to drag on something every time I want to engage it to the on position. My bigger gripe, though, is that it curves a bit downward and the underside is SHARP. Not dehorned at all sharp. I have a habit of snapping the safety to the on position if I'm gonna run with the gun in hand and only snapping it off as I come on target... but that's probably not going to fly with this gun, would end up with a cut on my thumb. The safeties are sharp, hard to actuate, and small. Biggest gripe about the gun. I mean, maybe I'm spoiled by my high ride extra wide atlas safeties, but even the edcx9, which has smaller safeties, has rounded off and dehorned edges that are very comfortable to actuate. Snapping the safety on and off 10 times with this gun makes me just want to put it down.
3. Trigger is good... but not custom good. It's a much better trigger job than comes from say, factory 1911's or staccato. Good enough that I've no interest in doing any work on it. But it's not to the standard of my infinity or my atlases or even my wilson edcx9. That being said, the cheapest of those guns run double what the platypus does, so it defintely is punching above its price range.
4. I ordered the acro cut. Acro sits so that the very bottom of the glass is flush with the level of the pistol... sits very low, which is great. The backup irons also sit fairly low and are very unobtrusive due to their low pro and super slim profile. Good design. Better than the plate systems that most other makers force on you (Atlas, Nighthawk, Wilson, etc etc).
5. Fits in my T1C axis for a 2011 w/x300u. Needed to modify mag carrier side to accommodate glock mags. Also fits a safariland for 2011 5" tactical w/ x300u. Does not fit ANY of my 2011 hoslters made for just the gun. Also does not fit any of my wilson edcx9 holsters due to my choice of square trigger guard, although I suspect that had I ordered a round trigger guard they would fit perfectly. So I guess I'm running it with a light.
6. Action feels... like a tight production 1911. Doesn't have that otherworldy smoothness you get when you rack an infinity or an atlas. Feels most akin to the edcx9... maybe because they're both aluminum frames. Maybe that's just the steel on aluminum feel. Felt kinda like a staccato c2, which is also aluminum framed, as opposed to the all steel staccato p, which feels smoother.
7. It's very light. Lighter than my edcx9, which is actually a smaller gun. If feels light enough that my FFL guy thought it was a polymer frame until I told him it wasn't.
8. 2 pc guide rod sucks. I might just change it out for a standard 1911 commander stubby rod and plug. Wish they wouldve just done either that or went bull barrel with a tool-less guide rod. I mean, I guess it's not the end of the world since the gun is tight enough you're not going to be taking it apart without a bushing wrench anyway, so if you're already using tools one more isn't the end of the world.

Conclusion... if it runs well and shoots well, it would make a very good carry or duty gun due to it's weight, the reliability of its mags (as opposed to finicky 2011 mags) and its relatively low cost. You get alot of the custom attention to detail and features at a very competitive pricepoint. You DO, however, feel a few things lacking as opposed to the 3k or 5k or 10k pistols: There are just these small things where you keep thinking "man, wouldn't it be great if someone just spent a few mins doing this or an hour dehorning that" but then you realize it's those 10 or so hours of labor that set aside the high price bracket. This really is an impressive gun for what really is just high end production cost.

TL;DR - I would like a search bar to be added to the game. Or at the least a sort 'alphabetically' option to be added. As mods*
With all of this news about DD2 it's made me pick up the game again and I'm sure there's a lot of new people coming to play the game too. I'm continuing my progress from last time I played instead of starting a new game and I have so many items it's insane, I have heaps of money but there's still a lot for me to do so I'm going to keep going with this save. I have no experience with modding anything other than minecraft a long time ago. I don't know anyone who can make stuff like that, and I definitely can't do it myself.
I'm asking for someone to make a mod that simply adds a nice looking search bar somewhere on the screen when I'm changing equipment at an inn, in my inventory, buying/selling stuff, maybe the enhancing menu, and maybe when learning/setting spells. I'm thinking it goes in the top right, next to the players name area on inventory, top right in inn menu and so on.ORIf it's possible, make a hotkey for it like how backspace is save changes or x is sort, chuck a key down where those keys are and maybe have the key be default assigned to shift or right shift more specifically. If that isn't viable - to have it set to shit, than it could just be assigned to the number 9 I guess. IDK though, creators choice.
The next thought I had when looking for alternatives is for someone to create a mod that simply adds an 'alphabetical' option to when you want to sort your inventory or storage, I seriously don't even know what optimized means in terms of this game, and I just scroll through all of my rings trying to find a certain one that I end up not even owning.
It might exist out there somewhere but as far as I can tell it doesn't exist on nexusmods. I honestly haven't looked at the steam workshop mods, so it might be there. If anyone could help it'd be much appreciated. Plus it might give you modders experience for if I ask again when DD2 comes out.

How could we be beheaded if we have been raptured away to heaven? It just doesn’t make any sense. So what about a post-tribulation rapture? Well, let’s look at the fifth seal.
Fifth Seal: The Cry of the Martyrs
When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. Think about what this is teaching us, the saints who are killed before the fifth seal are told that they must wait for the rest of the saints to be killed. And we are told that work will be completed. This leaves no room for a post-tribulation rapture*.*
The second passage often used to support rapture theology is 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. Paul writes, “But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. First: Paul is writing to the church in Thessalonica to comfort them. Some of their loved ones had died (he calls it “fallen asleep”) and he wants them to have hope. He wants to anchor them to the hope of Christ’s return and the resurrection of the dead.
Second**:** It’s very important to remember that Paul had no knowledge of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, as that wisdom was not imparted for another forty years. And even then, the vision was given to John, not Paul**.**
Third: We must remember that not even Jesus Christ Himself knew the day or the hour of his return. That is the key to understanding why Paul said, “We who are alive and remain.” For all Paul knew, Jesus was coming coming in a month’s time!

I've been doing my preliminary planning for my first EPP project and I was looking into precut hexes and Hexiform came up in a number of places. Apparently you just leave it in instead of removing it?
It's more expensive than paper, but some rudimentary research says it helps with fabric ghosting (I have a lot of white and black patterned fabrics I'm worried about) so I thought I'd ask the EPP hive mind! :)
Has anyone used it? What are your thoughts?

Hello ark gamers, I wanted to ask you guys a question about the Rhinognathia!
The new dino has been out for about a week or less, and the videos are starting to pile in about it. I'm pretty sure we all can agree this dino is op, or at least for a flyer, he does that and more. Being able to disable tech, stop dinos from moving with it's resin, pick up dinos as big as a rex and diplodocus, and being just so damn fast all alone. Then to top it off, it can move platforms and vaults while ignoring the weight on/in it.
( Just saying, I don't know if he can take a tree platform with objects on it, but he can move a vault, and the weight inside the vault is ignored. Least from the videos I've seen. Don't quote me on it :p )
Sooo, let me stop teasing and get straight to the question. We know how to tame it. Kill one, get the pheromone, and then look for a female and more. Now skipping to the impregnate phase. I hear that the baby gets it levels from the craving you do, but also it takes stats from the dino used. I wanted to see if anyone tested it and if it takes the dino used for it's impregnation stats, or simply it's numbers. So if you use a giga, does it take the giga's huge attack, or just it's number. I'm guessing it takes the number looking at a recent video, but I see people are recommending the giga and carcho, but when you think about it. The Brontos might be the best bet. Not simply cause it's easy, but it has high numbers all around. High health, high weight, decent to good stamina. Definitely better than a giga. Then even the melee is solid, as the giga usually gets nerfed in stats. Now I don't have as much time in ark like anyone in the server, but I'm sure the brontos has better " numbers " than a giga, which is better for the baby. I really just wanna see if you guys would agree? Cause let's be real, you'd rather have a Rhinognathia with a high weight stat than anything else with it's ability to lift such heavy creatures. Especially on Lost Island as even Magmasaur exist there.

Hello Twitter, I was curious if anyone was having an issue like this I logging into an account I made in 2021 but it won't let me change my email. I get an error message like this " Due to new session activity on your account, changes to your phone or email on your account are restricted temporarily. Please try again later." Someone told me it might take a few days for me to be able to change my email and add my phone number to my account but I'm worried it won't do that.
If anyone knows how long I may have to wait or if I can fix this issue at all please let me know. (and if this breaks the rules I can remove it.)

Hello, I did an year long software dev role internship with a reputed brand during college. But after college joined a different company as an data analyst. But I am not liking the job due to the following reasons.

1. Never did data analytics before since dont like numbers that much.
2. No work from home/ hybrid policy.
3. Compulsory 9 hrs working policy.

I don't have any backup and not much savings, should quit?

So here we go I 28(m) met with my 24(f) ex gf who left and ghosted me all this time in a birthday of one of my co-worker in a restaurant .She was there sitting in a corner with her long time friends that I recognize instantly.. My heart sank in that moment .it was all blur all of the sudden . When one of my co-worker friends said to me 'you look pale dude ,you alright ?'you're sweating too .I just said 'it's nothing' I immediately Pull my self together ,act like i didn't notice them .. I think they didn't notice me either, i guess it's because of how i dress now .. back when my ex and i are together i just wear casual t shirt and ripped jeans and my hair style is emo even when we're going on a date. My other co-workers who was waiting for us just shouts my name out of the blue and starts waving at us . I look back at the table where my ex and her friends are sitting.. They we're all staring at me that they look like they've seen a ghost or something .. I look away and sprinting to the table where my colleagues at ..as i sat on the table as i was not myself staring farther. Then i noticed my ex stand up from her sit and heading towards our table. Shit this is what i'm afraid of.For the past year after she left me i've been thinking even daydreaming of what i would say to her if we ever see each other again .And again i'm sweating, as she moves towards our table closer and closer she was staring at me .I can't even look back at her . Then she just past us and headed straight towards the women's bathroom. I felt relieved after that .. I immediately told my co-workers that i wasn't feeling too well and wanted to go home.. They said you really don't look that good .. and they said they understand .I grab my bag and apologize to my co-worker who was having his birthday there that invited me. one of my male co-workers insisted that he walk me through my motorcycle as we past through my exgf's friends I noticed they we're looking at me again .My colleague and I are at the parking lot , He said "becareful going home buddy,Dont rush and take a goodnight's rest" yeah i will (i replied) I saw my ex was coming out of the restaurant and was looking around .. i immediately full the throttle to rush out of there ..after 30min I was at my apartment.. i sat down in the couch connect my phone to the speaker and played worship songs .. I then prayed to god that the heavy feeling i'm having right now be lifted.. as i prayed I cried. I remember when my ex and i will go to the church ..and back then before we eat breakfast,lunch or dinner we prayed. All those memories of her and I are coming down like rain .The happy memories we shared together, the times we cuddled , the first time she kiss me. I cried and cried .. Then my phone rangs .. I pick up my phone to see who was calling it was just a number .. I already knew who it might be like most of you already know but out of curiosity i answered . I still ask that even though i know she got it from my colleagues at the restaurant .She said from your friends at the restaurant, she also said that they ask her of who she was, so she told them her name. And noticed that my co-workers was shock ..she tells me that they didn't want to give my number to her .well i know why cause my co-workers know about my past with her as i told them about it. And when my co-workers told her that they wouldn't give my phone number, she said she cried.. and one of my female co-workers gave it to her . I don't blame my co-worker for what she did maybe because i thought she took pity on her crying . She ask me if we could talk ..I replied 'yeah sure' i don't know why i said that maybe there's apart of me that want to know why she left me without saying goodbye and blocked me and ghosted me for 6years.. She then ask me when can i be available .. I told her the time,location and when ..Then she said goodnight . to be honest i don't know what i'm gonna do , i'm scared about this coming meeting with her . I don't know what i'm gonna say . I still love her even today .. i never again dated after she left me. After the conversation with her on the phone i lied in bed and didn't eat dinner .. I was just so exhausted both physically and mentally The next morning when i came in the office .. my co-workers ask if my exgf called . To which i replied "yes" my female co-workers where shrieking .. and ask about what we talked . I just said some other time .. my female co-workers and male co-workers was stunned and said my ex was very beautiful . I kinda bit shy after hearing that . Very quick question. I’m unfamiliar with the power of dooms punches. I know the damage numbers, and the hitbox, but I’m very unfamiliar with the knock back. If you have your fist fully charged from block or your ultimate, how much do you have to charge a punch in order for it to stun for the full duration? I see other dooms charge it only 25% of the bar and it sends people flying and when they hit a wall, they get stunned for a very long amount of time.

My boyfriend only just found out he was diabetic a month ago. Everyone assumed he was probably type 2 because he is a big guy but he had literally lost 60lbs in the matter of 2 months without trying and was basically congratulated by our family doctor for it until she saw the blood results.
Well, he got his glucometer last week and his endocrinologist told him to do four days where he did one day before breakfast, next day lunch, next day dinner, next day bed time, and then take a break from the finger pokes for a few days and then repeat. So he did that and his numbers were as followed: 18, 18, 20, 23. This was all very new to us so we didn’t really question it, and assumed that the numbers would fix themselves with a low carb diet and waiting for the Metformin to kick in. We saw the diabetic educator on Friday and told her what his numbers were. She said that they were high but reiterated the low carb diet and Metformin needing to start working, and wanted to see him in two weeks to see his improvement.
Well, fast forward to Sunday two days after the diabetic educator appointment. He had had a few pretty good low carb days and I decided on Sunday night that I wanted him to start testing himself again and that the few days of not testing were up. His glucometer read 30 and it told us to contact our health provider immediately. We went immediately to the hospital where he was diagnosed with DKA and was admitted for immediate intervention.
Doing more research now and having a better understanding of the numbers, I am unsure why the diabetic educator did not show more urgency with those initial numbers, considering that anything over 16 can be critical. He is on his insulin now and he is doing better but it is very frustrating with how all of this is turned out so far with his new diagnosis.

I'm a noob BLU looking to get into the BLU raiding scene. I only have a handful of spells and not really that much knowledge on playing BLU in harder content, but I'm interested doing the Coils and Alexander raids for the Morbol mount or whatever new achivement content will be coming out in upcoming patches. Mainly looking for a group who's willing to teach a newbie about BLU stuff or at least point me in the right direction.
I have savage experience from Shadowbringers onwards, have cleared Eden's Verse, Promise, Pandaemonium Asphodelos and also Abyssos. I've also cleared DSR, although I am still a bit of a slow learner. I can play dps or healer role, I'm least familiar with tanking.
For the upcoming months I should be free Mon-Fri from 5pm PST onwards and also Sat/Sun before 7:30pm PST. My schedule might change but I'll keep folks updated ASAP.
