Have been living in an apartment for a few months and have been struggling with dust mite allergy induced asthma.
My recommendation from the pulmonologist is to not live in an area with carpets, but I have 8 months left on my lease. I spoke with my landlord about pulling up the carpet because there is hardwood underneath, but he said that I need to replace with new carpet because of noise issues for him (2nd floor apt, he lives below).
Do I have any options here other than subletting? I’m just hesitant to spend more $$$ on a different, hypoallergenic carpet because the pulmonologist was pretty adamant that I should just avoid living in an environment with carpets.

My sister 22yo lives with my mother. She’s a hoarder and lives in piles of trash bags in her room and she doesn’t even shower or take care of herself. So she has nits and throughout my childhood I ALWAYS had nits and I just thought it was just living in a tight space but as soon as I moved out I used lotion and comb to get rid of them and I haven’t had a outbreak since. But recently I’ve found out how I was never able to get rid of them. My sister. I seen her pick the nits out of her hair and she didn’t even try to kill the ones she pulled out she would just drop them on the floor or onto furniture. My family has tried EVERYTHING to get her to listen to get rid of them but it’s like she keeps them as a pet but I’m sure it’s because she truly doesn’t care. The last straw for me was when I heard my 1yo nephew started to get nits. I asked my mum all the solutions on the top of my head like pestering her until she does it, pleading her, even trying to get my grandparents involved, threatening her to be kicked out. my mum tried all of these and she still didn’t listen and the only most effective reason I came up with was inhumane, waiting for her to fall asleep and buzz her hair off. Odviously we don’t want to do that. I don’t know what to do I need a different perspective on this help

I (29F) was on Hinge for one day before matching with a man whom I find amazing in every way, and who seems to feel the same way about me. We've had good phone sex every night. We talked about being exclusive and both wanting to be in a relationship and how to do that healthily; specifically we both know that the intensity level and the hours spent talking right now isn't sustainable in the long term but we're giving ourselves some grace since I'm out of town and we don't have many other options for this honeymoon period. We've set expectations accordingly and been able to communicate super effectively about everything, even awkward or potentially negative situations.
The current thing we've been saying to each other is that we're not in love because we don't know each other well enough, but what we do know about each other, we love. Both trying very hard to be normal and not insane about it, and we're both aware that infatuations fade. It just all feels so natural.

Hello, im completely new to this and im in need of a new vacuum. I was on the edge of buying of the Dreame V(...) Vacuums which look like a dyson because of the Apartment Situation but after scrolling around here for a while i found that you guys don´t really like Cordless Vacuums.
I live in Germany and have a small Apartment (30 sq m) with 2 Floors and little coherent Floor Space, which is hardfloor downstairs and Wood in the small 2. floor section. I also have 2 carpets but they are not that large and laid on top of the floor. The reason i thought about a cordless vacuum is because of the small coherent space and all the little Corners/Stairs/small spaces (having to change outlets frequently for only little space), in combination with having to pets or lots of carpet floor. The one i had before was from a no name company wich looks like a classic Miele (?) vacuum i saw in one of the top posts and it had a bag. It was ok (annoing to switch outlets still) but stopped working after something with the bag/filter broke.
I´m on a pretty strikt budget, so under 100€ would be nice, if its a long lasting model i would be able to also spend like 150€ .

We never really had conversations until i was in highschool around 15-16yo and he worked in a jewlery and thing shop that me and my friends liked going in. From there we actually began knowing of eachothers existence but it was never in any way. Just having friendly conversation with a familiar face.
Then last summer i went away on a trip for a month and my job had to hire new people and he was hired as he was also a friend of my boss and her family so it was an easy quick fix to me being gone for a month. Once i got back from my trip i wasnt working any of the same shifts with him unless I was covering, so i didnt see him all too much and didnt really put too much effort into having conversation when we were working together.
Up until Jan 2023 we began working together more and so i began talking to him more and over the course of that month (im 18 and1/4 at the time) and we began hanging out outside of work but always just after work, never going out of our way to hang out on off days. We'd go to the beach after work and have a couple beers and just talk, for hours. I love the types of conversations we have, they range in topic and level of depth but we consistintly get the whole spectrum. Ive always felt a little bit awkward speaking, in the sense of not feeling like things come out right and always being misunderstood. But for some reason with him ive never felt more present and actually capable of talking, processing, and understanding all at once. He's healed things in me from previous relationships and ive done the same for him. I wasnt planning/plotting to sleep with him we never really talked about it and it was kinda a 'if it happens it happens' type of thing for me. Working with him I had a little crush on him but im not the type of person to do stuff with coworkers but after actually getting to know him, my little coworker crush developed into an actual crush.
One day me, him and our other coworker (26F) did our usual sunset beach beer hangout and we all felt hungry and josh offered to make us some food up at his place, and we agreed. I had a bottle of nice whiskey at my house so i dropped by and picked it up before heading up. we all ate and got a bit drunk, him and our other coworker more than myself since i had to drive 15-20 min to get home and she lived just down the street. She ended up deciding to leave around 11pm and i chose to stay and hang out longer, soon enough it was 3am and we both felt like it would be best if i dont drive home (i had drank more and was getting tired). He has a small one bedroom place and doesnt have room for a couch so he was going to sleep on the floor while i took his bed but i told him that i feel comfortable with him sleeping next to me. We ended up sleeping together and have been seeing eachother since then.
We've been keeping "us" pretty down low because I know that both of my parents (mom 50F and dad 57M) would have a pretty big issue with it. My mom was aware that i'd hang out with him after work/outside of work and that we were friends, I was just hiding that ive been sleeping with him. I'd hang out with him and his friends, be invited to BBQ's and camping out, they didnt know at first but as of more recent times they have been made aware of our dynamic and are completely supportive. Now majority of his friends that he sees on the weekly basis knows and the word has spread.
Im on a trip visiting family on the mainland and before i left i mentioned to him that ive been thinking of having our relationship be just platonic again. We've taken a break before (he expressed a need for it the first time) and now i felt like it would be best if we'd stop sleeping together as i felt like things were progrssing too fast and too many people were getting involved (aka i was getting overwhelmed and anxious on how this was all going to go/end). Ive been gone for a week and we havent been texting as much, he knows im with family and want space. And then I get a text from my mom saying she heard that josh has a 18 year old girlfriend and that she'd like some explaining. ive texted him and updated him, i want us to stay on the same page. I really dont want to tell my mom the full truth but I also dont want to lie, and i know he wont support me lying as well. Hes currently at work and will be there for the next 4-5 hours so im just playing the waiting game to see how he feels about the whole situation.
Should I tell the whole truth since shes already been told by someone in the community and just come clean even though my body is screaming run? I know that I should i just know that it would cause so much tension in the house and im already planning on moving to a different stare in november of this year and i dont want our last months to be full of fighting. not to mention the rest of my life this being held over my head. i just wish that i could do things and not have it be everyones business, especially since its not a serious relationship and we both knew it was never was going to be one.

Posting this so there's info about this case on the Internet because quick googling didn't help understand what it was and everyone are talking about porphyrin instead of blood. Maybe you guys have to add something.
We have 2 boys about 7-8 months old, and one of them is kinda obese, doesn't like when he's touched, and isn't as active as his brother. He also loves his food way too much, while his brother is hungry for attention and they will compete for food and attention respectively. Fatty is still active and explores the room and the balcony when left alone, so it's his character trait, we believe.
Today I decided to inspect fatty's body for belly and side tumors again - I do it occasionally since his brother got a neck tumor at the age of 2 months. After that, I gave him and his brother 2 halves of nuts each. They've eaten the first halves just fine, but on the second nut, the fatty started sneezing a lot of blood. Not porphyrin, but real dark liquid blood - we know the difference. He got it on our carpet, floor, room door and bathroom partially covered while we moved him away and tried to do something to stop it.
He had a little bits of blood for the next half an hour, but sneezing stopped relatively fast and he spent most of the time eating and cleaning himself.
Both me and wife didn't see anything like this in our lives, and got really scared for his life. She owned many rats for many years but never boys and never she saw something like that.
Surely, we brought him to the vet and after waiting for 3 hours, we got a suggestion that he may have gotten part of a nut in his nose because he was trying to eat faster not to allow his brother to take food from him. They obviously couldn't see inside his nose, but they've checked him as they could there and assumed it's nothing serious - just warned us that he may bleed for some time until his nose canals heal.
TLDR: greedy rat got a piece of nut into his nose?

Hello! I recently moved to a new place after living in the old (quiet) one for 8 years. My current building has entrances on two streets: one for the mansion, and one side is commercial. The first floor commercial side has a small nail salon and a recently-opened bar (as in like 3 days ago). I live on the third floor of the building, which spreads across the top of the whole building (commercial and residential sides both).
The problem is that the bar is extremely noisy. Like the music is coming up inside the walls or something. If you go into my toilet room at night, it sounds almost as if you’re in the bar itself.
Who can I complain to? Before the bar opened there was regular street noise of course, but now it’s like a party I didn’t ask for in my room all night. Does my landlord own the whole building and I should complain to him? Or is it possible ownership is split and it’s someone else? Will the police care if it’s technically a commercial building on that side?

I am lucky to live 15 minutes away from an outlet location. I've always known it was there but have only visited once when I was looking for an ugly sweater for a party about 10 years ago. My location is dubbed a "competitive" spot, which I did not know until this past weekend. I made this post asking about the bins in general.
So my brother and I arrived shortly after opening and we were both shell shocked upon entering lol. It was very full. People were concentrated in one corner going crazy so I assumed they just rolled those bins out. We started on the other side where people weren't looking and just kind of awkwardly went in for it. About five minutes in my brother was like, "they're coming" 😳 and we saw the workers bringing new bins to the middle of the outlet. A few seconds later people ran and FLOCKED. We watched this happen again, literally just taking it in. Was truly crazy.
The third rotation, WE WENT FOR IT! It was much more civil than I had expected. Nobody pushed, it seemed like many regulars were chatting while digging (mostly guys in their 30's and 40's, but one guy my age who resells vintage shirts. I am friends with him on FB) and everyone kind of just moved down the line quickly. Which sucked because I wasn't able to dig that much before moving down. A lot of times I felt like I was in the way because of the huge ass cart I grabbed but nobody was mean or confrontational about it. One man accidentally hit my cart and he apologized and was nice about it. The cart overall was just awkward though, I ended up parking it somewhere against the wall and not getting it until we were finished. Next time I go, I might bring a reusable tote or pick one up from the bins (I saw many) so I can just hold it on my shoulder or something? Idk
Overall, it went much better than I had thought. Found lots of underwear and dirty socks, which I was warned about, many on the floor too... doesn't really bother me though but I didn't realize how many I'd find lol. The workers were all very friendly and they cleaned that stuff up entirely between the rotations. Instead of getting yelled at like I read online, a worker politely asked us to move because they were changing the bins. They were also chatting with the regulars as they moved stuff in. The music was good, too, and I got in the zone after about 45 minutes.
Unfortunately, my brother didn't have breakfast and I was also getting hungry so we left after about 2 hours. I TOTALLY could have stayed longer, this would have been a good time for a lunch break. I noticed they stopped the rotations for a while at this point and we didn't know if that was it for the day or what was going on. I'll have to visit in the afternoon just to see what that is like.
The haul? Well, there wasn't one... lol. Here is what I found and put back, in order: * Aerie white cropped sweater - SO much pilling but adorable * Aerie offline cropped tank top - XS, in hindsight should have grabbed it for what I was paying but this was only the second thing I found so I was kind of nervous lol plus they were beginning to roll these bins away and we just kind of had to dip * Levi's straight jeans - jeans literally do not sell at all for me so I put them back. Also these were maybe kids? Size said 12 which is my size and these were definitely not my size. * Random vintage old lady birdhouse sweater - loved it but I am not sure how these vintage sweaters would do as I have a few listed now that don't have any attention * Anthropologie sweater - Looked like an older style or possibly shrunken * Zara trafaluc crop blouse - Also looked like an older style and Zara doesn't seem to sell well for me either unless it's something super in demand * Kut from the kloth skinny jeans - Debated, but yeah... jeans do terrible for me. Wish I picked them up though just to try this brand * Random NWT mom jeans - I was interested bc never heard of the brand before, but tag said $30 so I put them back. They were my size but mom jeans tend to run small on me so ultimately just put them back.
What we did get were some 2000's-ish silly shirts to repurpose (my brother's thing, not mine lol) or use for the gym, an old navy dress (Regular GW was asking $10.99... LOL), a pullover for myself, and a thermal for my mom. Total was a few cents over $6!
I am ready to go back ASAP! Tomorrow I have plans but I am hoping to be back Thursday and give it a shot by myself.
Edit: Also, the bins themselves were not as dirty as I expected. My hands were not as grimy as I was preparing for! Still wiped them down really well afterwards. I packed up all the stuff needed to use the laundromat in case it was extra gross, but I just used my own washer at home. Yeah, the items smelled musty and my pullover kinda smelled like puke but it all came out after washing.

Growing up, my parents taught me that you wash your hands first thing when you get home from being out. My husband's family taught him and his siblings the same. At this point, it's second nature for us - you get home and you wash your hands. We also have a toddler who, as toddlers do, gets messy af. So when she gets home, we wash hands and then change her into something not covered in toddler goo.
Even before our kid we've always asked guests to wash their hands and take their shoes off when they come to our place. While we recognize that taking your shoes off and washing your hands may not be the norm for where we live, we didn't see it as an issue because it doesn't seem like that big of an ask for guests in our home. No one has had a problem with this until our friend (Sophie) brought her new bf (Jason) that we hadn't met before over for our monthly game night.
Sophie and Jason were the first of our friends to arrive, and when we greeted them at the door Sophie started taking her shoes off and Jason kinda stood there awkwardly. I asked him to remove his shoes and explained we don't wear shoes inside and he just said no and tried to walk into our house. My husband stopped him and told him that he needed to take his shoes or leave. He eventually took them off after Sophie asked us to give them a minute. We then asked that he wash his hands before joining us for snacks at the table and he just about lost his shit. He started ranting about how degrading it was that we demanded him, as a guest, to do anything. That just because it's "our house our rules" doesn't give us the right to be control freaks. Apparently by asking him to take his shoes off and wash his hands we see him as dirty and inferior to us.
I tried to explain to him that we don't feel that way, we just want to keep our floors clean and avoid spreading germs, especially with a toddler in the house. He started shouting over me but my husband shut him down and told him to leave and not come back. He asked Sophie if she was coming with him and when she said no he told her to lose his number and go fuck herself. Thankfully, Sophie has no desire to continue her relationship with him after this, but now we're wondering whether asking guests to remove their shoes and wash their hands is demanding and controlling? Are we just ignorant because we grew up doing this?

Hello All first time poster long time lurker and I deceid to start saving money to visit Thailand for about 1-3 months. I was curious if you all can help me by answering some questions about thailand for an US foreigner like myself.

1. What are the mains DO's and DON'T's when visiting Thailand?
2. Which place is best to visit for first timers?
3. Are there any type of clothing should I wear or bring? Seems very humid and hot there (Fyi i live in TX)
4. What's dishes should I try while being there? (Im open for anything)
5. What areas or people should I avoid?
6. What are some common laws that foreingers tend to break? (So i can clearly not get arrested)
7. Are the hostpials okay to visit if I tend to get sick from anything?
8. How does the locals treat black people when visiting ? (I am a 5'10 AA from texas who were boots)
9. How is the local nightlife there? I usually enjoy some clubs and bars but also enjoy quiet nightlife type of places.
10. Which year or season should I visit Thailland to either advoid the rainy season or when tourism is at it's highest.

It was late Friday night me and my friends decide to head down to the gentleman’s club that we go to all the time for some drinks and private dances in the VIP area. After some time there are bottles of champagne and tequila on the tables and music is playing. You approach me and ask if I would like a dance, me being the only one without someone sitting on my lap. I look up at you with a smile”I’d love a dance” I set my glass down and lean back in the chair a bit as you climb up on my lap and begin moving your hips. You had my full attention as I watched you sway your hips to the music playing in the background. I was enjoying your moves and your presence as we talked while you danced. Later in the night everyone ends up back at my place to finish the night. I awake the next morning, still feeling drunk and groggy from the night before. I slowly open my eyes as they were foggy and to see through right away. I start to sit up and look around my room as I see clothes flung everywhere and empty champ me bottles on the floor. I turn my head to the right and see a gorgeous woman laying beside me in a g string. I start to try and put the pieces together of what happens lastnight as I get out of my bed and walk across the cold marble floor. I make my way down the stairs with a mind numbing headache as I stagger down them. I walk into the kitchen and can see people passed out in my living room.

Been waiting a while to do this one: Probably one of the biggest breakouts in anime VO in the past three years, and one of my personal top 3 all-time VAs, the every so talented, the very sweet, and overall Best Bean: Suzie Yeung.
Her very first role she booked was on Sound Cadence's Kemono Friends, and at the time, she was still living, working, and going to school in Boston. But as if fate were calling to her, she packed up and moved to Tx and then eventually moved to LA. And for any proof that this is what she was meant to do with her life, as mentioned above, just one day she got into LA, she got the audition for Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade as Yuffie. Already a solid staple on the LA side of CR dubs, as well as Netflix anime and video games. From roles that will make you get on your knees and bark like a dog, to the bestest of best beans, to strong and virtuous, and the must-protecs. A talented person in the booth and just as a nice of a person outside the booth as well in conventions or when streaming.
(Personal story: Suzie Yeung was the very first VA i've ever met at a convention. I've never been to a convention before, and my introverted ass doesn't like giantass crowds. But I went to one in my area, and she was the first VA I've ever met and intertacted with. And I mean it, she really is the nicest person.)

- Yuffie (Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade): Fun fact, I've never played a single FF game until I've seen her stream FF7R, and it inspired me to pick it up for the first time, similar story, watching Erika Harlacher stream P5R inspired me to pick up Persona for the first time in my life.
Suzie makes Yuffie so much fun, so much personality, and very emotional when it hit too. Like if I had to pick up one role that would represent the best of Suzie Yeung, it would be Yuffie.
- Vladilena Milizé (86): One of my favorite characters of 2021: compassionate to the 86 when no one else would be, and fierce (Especially with the "WHO GIVES A SHIT" line). Another one of her best.
- Jing Xialian (Appare-Ranman): One of my favorite roles she's voiced, reminding me of a certain kickass Chinese character breaking gender barriers. Def the role that started making me a big fan of hers.

Hi there guys. Hope everyone is swell. But basically I’ll start from the beginning and the back story of my friendship with this dude.
History: -so this dude, we’ll call him Jack. I’ve been best friends with Jack since we were 13/14 years of age, I am 23 as of now and Jack is 24. But I’ve kept in close contact with him since via gaming, texting, meeting up to play sports. Basically we been in each others life and spoke about our deepest darkest secret so our happiest moments for the last decade.
Build up of frustration: -so the build up of my anger I’d say started from constantly paying for thing for example if we went to play snooker I’d pay all the time. Only rare times Jack would pay, it would be as if it’s a surprise when he payed or even pulled out his card lol. But I let that slide cause come on, it’s my best friend. Also, I lent him a lot of money which he had paid back after failing to meet the dates he’s promised. And he wanted the new iPhone but I put it on my name cause he wouldn’t be able to get a new phone otherwise.And then it lead to us making the best friend birthday deal we’ll call it where we promised to each other that we would do a tradition of buying gifts for each other. Over 3 years I bought him a huge birthday cake, amongst other food items. An expensive hoodie and oodie out of love for the guy but it felt when it was my time he was somehow broke financially? But I see the money be waste in self pleasure whether it’s £330 on some Jordan’s 4 or buying a brand new console. But I let it go tbh. I cracked some jokes and moved on. Just accepted for what it was. And then comes him lashing out and ruining the vibe if we go to a friends dinner or are gaming with mates and he’ll say some rude stuff. But I let it go and accept him for how it is. But he did start to improve himself and stop Being a dick and I was over the moon with the new and improved Jack. (More below)
Issue: So beginning of this year I had a severe asthma attack which led to a very traumatic experience Im talking shaking on the floor being barely able to breath to seeing my mother whom I love very much panic and cry over me, and having to wait 5-6 hrs to finally be treated (don’t blame the hospital staff cause of strikes. Love them). It was just very traumatic time. And Jack lived less then 10 minute walk away and didn’t even visit me?!!! He had a day off from work? He didn’t have any plans? So why did he just swing by and say hello? I defo would’ve have if it was vice Versa. My other mate Zack (only known him 2 years) checked up on me by text non stop, asked if I needed anything and planned to visit me and he has a very busy schedule. But luckily I got dismissed from the hospital but Zack kept checking up on me. So after that happened I kept my distance from Jack for a while and then expressed how I felt through text. He said he’d do better and I was happier. Then it came to him seeing potential gf. One lived 2-3 hrs away but he drove all that way. Paid for fuel, hotel, dinner for both of them and activities for both of them? Where’s he’s getting this money from? He doesn’t have much. (Does work just spends stupidly). She broke up with him and I told him how I felt that he doesn’t want to hang with me cause of money but will drive far for a girl. He said he’s do better. Guess what, finds another girl cause the other broke up with him and goes all the way for 1-2 hrs away and spends money on them both but not for me? It’s like I don’t exist? I expressed how I felt and he replied “I’m almost 25 now. I need to settle down.” Which felt like a cop out excuse answer tbh.
How I’m feeling -I’ve just been feeling agitated, angry against him and disappointed and sometimes it shows through text unfortunately and I keep having this extreme lingering rage whenever I talk to him now. I just want to know am I wrong for being at times aggressive with him ?

Do you think that this is pretty good for a starter setup? Which pieces would you swap out for better value? I plan to start with 3.0 and upgrade to 5.1 in the future.

In an apartment on the south side of Boulder, Colorado, lived a man named Anthony, a college boy who lived for success in his grades. Anthony studied so hard, day in and day out, to get ready for college exams. Anthony lived in a three-room apartment on the 4th floor with two other roommates who went out a lot. He barely noticed his roommates going in and out of the apartment and was always easily angered if disturbed while he was studying. What kept Anthony awake these past few days was just a hot brew of coffee his roommate makes way too much of. The night that changed everything was August 14th, 2016. The night was cold and dark as the clock slowly passed 2 a.m.
Anthony, fighting to stay awake, drank his last sip of coffee, trying to finish studying for the midterm exams. Anthony had gone out of his room to get more coffee, but then he heard music coming from outside his apartment door. Thinking this was just a prank his roommates were putting on him, Anthony slowly inched to the front door to hear what was being played, and what he heard was old circus music loudly playing at the door. Anthony looked through the peephole to see nothing. He opened the door slowly to see an old music box loudly playing a muffled version of classic circus music.
Anthony angrily grabbed the music box, thinking it was some type of prank keeping him away from his studies. Anthony angrily mumbled while walking to his room, "Time wasted dealing with this rather than studying. ", He heard the same classic circus music outside his door. Confused, he looked through the peephole again to see no one outside the door. When he opened the door, he saw a similar music box, but this one had a note taped around it. He shut the music box off and took it inside. He opened the note, and it had writing in crayon saying, "Those who do not value their lives deserve a special surprise."
Anthony felt uneasy, thinking that this prank was going a little too far. He wanted to catch the person who was behind it as much as possible. So Anthony grabbed one of the smallest cameras he had and taped it across the hall, pointing at the front door. Tired, confused, and angry, Anthony went back to his room to study, and for a moment, there was nothing. When Anthony heard the music again, he grabbed his phone to see what was going on in front of his door and was shocked to see a dirty, beat-up, messy clown swaying its body to the music. Anthony sat there, shocked and horrified by what he saw. He then got up to check the front door.
Anthony cautiously and quietly approached his front door and slowly put his face up to the peephole. All Anthony saw was a sad clown with messy makeup and a very wide frown and pink hair, swaying to the music. A horrified Anthony asked what the person wanted, trying to hide the shakiness and fear in their voice. The clown stopped and looked directly at the peephole as if he were staring into Anthony's soul. Anthony waited a long time for a reply, but there was none. Anthony repeated himself in an angrier tone, "Who is this? What do you want?" The clown then started bashing his head against the door.
The force knocked Anthony onto his back. Breathing heavily, Anthony tried assessing the situation. He checked his phone and saw the clown repeatedly banging his head against the door. Anthony noticed that blood was splattering all over the door. Anthony quickly got up and ran to his room, tripping on everything in his way. When Anthony finally went into his room and locked it, the front door loudly broke open.
Realizing this wasn't a prank anymore, Anthony pulled out his phone and started dialing 911. Anthony heard the clown running toward his door. Anthony's phone was ringing while his heart was pounding and racing, trying to get any answer from the phone. Anthony then heard loud, vicious knocks on his door with his canonical laughs and his loud honks, making it hard to focus.
When he finally heard, "911, what's your emergency?" With a little side relief, Anthony was about to answer the operator when he heard the same classic circus music, but not from his desk but from under his bed. Anthony slowly looked at the darkness under his bed and saw a music box sliding out from under the bed.
