newer to gta racing, me and some friends have a few maps we,ve made in gta online but am looking for some help finding how to download and race other maps with friends like mt akina, nurburgring, and some other courses and drift tracks even. do we need to find servers for these races or can we just get the maps somehow easily ?

At least for me (f,36). I’m a late diagnosed woman who’s been people pleasing for too long. I’ve tried being authentic, supportive, considerate and all those things. That probably backfired a lot because I’m disappointed by many people. I guess, my boundaries aren’t as strong as I want them to be yet.
I’ve been masking since I was young. Apparently not successful because I still struggle to make friends. And most people are also not my people, so it’s a two way street. But I can tell that I automatically try a little too hard at times and people perceive me as maybe not real enough or too much of something.
And at the same time I don’t act the typical phony way and overshare or don’t say the right things. Then people often feel free to tell me even the slightest insulting things which is weird. I’m an attractive woman but I think since I’m so “nice” they love to point out my weaknesses or my flaws or just tell me I look tired or that I lost weight or whatever. Not a many but it seems to happen sporadically.
I think I’m just frustrated that I’m so honest and encouraging as I often tell others what I appreciate about them but rarely get that back. I don’t get invited anywhere other than with my family and kids to our relatives or friends on my husbands side. It seems I’m an alien not many relate to. I also stopped drinking, so I’m even less relatable. Plus, now I see how many people and places I’ve only tolerated because it’s easy to put up with by drinking alcohol.
Of course, there’s people who appreciate me for me. And some only like their idea of me or the masked version.
I find myself getting really resentful towards the world. I get mad at myself for caring so much. I feel I have to package myself correctly to be accepted or liked and I’m just tired of it.
I want to have good boundaries and still have inner peace. I go a long time being successful at that but then again I become mad at my shortcomings or other people’s ignorance. Don’t know how to categorize the rage I’m feeling rn.
I don’t know if I’m making sense. Just needed to vent. It could also be other bigger underlying issues that show up as discontent right now which I do have. There’s some problems with my parents at the moment that cause me worry and sadness and I suppress it often subconsciously.
Can anyone relate? I’m looking to be in a better place and not want to tell everyone off.

Since the end of last year, I've been actively following the latest trends in tech, especially those related to software like AI and no-code tools. During my research and learning, I collect the ones that I find interesting and useful in one website, which I have built myself. Why did I build it? I needed the simplest way to list things that I find on the internet so that I can easily refer to them later if needed. Services like Google Sheets and Airtable are not suitable for that purpose. The website is continuously being improved over time, and new tools are added daily. The website receives hundreds of visitors daily, even without heavy marketing. I don't use other social media platforms like Twitter, and I haven't launched on Product Hunt yet. People share it around because of the valuable resources added to the site. Thank you to those who share and mention the site.
The website has a feature that allows users to create an account, enabling them to grow their listings as well. Users can collect almost anything, with or without links, personal collections or affiliate items, and they can include videos and images. For me, it's a useful tool that you can use to grow your business as well.

The title. Calling all Linux users/experts/noobs/those more experienced than I.
TLDR: How may I install Albion Online on my machine? (inb4 use the search, :( I have)

• Running Ubuntu 22.04 Jammy Jellyfish (aarch64) OS, with Cinnamon Desktop version 5.2.7, on a 5.10.110-rockchip-rk3588 Linux kernel.

I recently purchased and set up an Orange Pi 5, loaded with Armbian, (I understand it to be the most stable OS amongst those compatible with Orange Pi 5 SBCs.) I've been attempting to install Albion Online, knowing that it's compatible with Ubuntu, which I understand Armbian to be a branch of (debian/ubuntu--still learning all the nuance). And try as I might, I can't get it to work.
I get a lot of "Could not open ''albion-online-setup" -- 'The package might be corrupted or you are not allowed to open the file. Check the permissions of the file'. Which I've done, on multiple occasions.

• I understand I need to sudo chmod a+x albion-online-setup, but alas, nothing is working.

I understand there isn't a lot of support or stability for this OS and this SBC, so I wanted to reach out to the community on the offhand that someone here figured it out.
Should I just install a more "Albion" friendly OS? (OrangePi OS? Android 12?) I really wanted to check the capability of this little machine. (It runs PS2 emulation rather well). I feel like there's a way to do it, but I'm so new to all this I need some halp. (I purchased this SBC so I can practice doing more Python things)

So i just beat stalker lost alpha revisited and spent like 400 hours completing it all, it was incredible.
Now im on to new mods. But the story is all the same confusion.I dont think ive ever played a less clear singleplayer campaign in all of my gaming history.
When you go to aprogram institute and the dude is like "HELP WE UNDER ATTACK" (the one where you need to save mole).. It is just so profoundly unclear on what you need to do. The developers think its a good idea to send a 2nd nearly-impossible-to-beat military wave and helicopters to kill mole and break the game apparently. This part just seems so wrong to me. MOLE IS AN IMPORTANT NPC WITH QUESTS AND WHATNOT. Yet they just march him to his death into a death helicopter?? WHAT THE EFFING FK AM I SUPPOSED TO DO HERE.
And OGSR makes it even more confusing by blocking off the ladder to the underground (the one mole brings you to).. AND THEY EVEN BLOCK THE STAIRS GOING DOWN nearby.. So i guess i have to trudge back through the wave of military reinforcements??
Its almost like the developers took the game out of its package at the last minute before mailing it off, and deleted 50% of the games quest waypoints before they shipped the game, just so it would be more confusing.. AND not one single mod tries to adress any of this trash? Have you ever considered telling the player where they need to go? I dont think ive ever used google more in a single video game. The people who made this game expect the player to be psychic or something. Not one single quest unfolds in a logical manner.
Stalker is such an incredible atmosphere, but i honestly hate anything related to the developers trying to do something. Its always so unclear and just wrong feeling. The whole campaign just feels like you are doing something incorrect from start to finish. Sidorovich at one point even says "you dont have to come all the way back here, bring it straight to barkeep" and you are like OK COOL SO THIS GAME IS LOGICAL. Then the second you spy on a mob in garbage the game says RETURN TO SIDOROVICH.. So its like wtf? This game is a hot mess.
The game is like an amazing sandbox with vehicles and beauty. Hampered by artificial shallow systems like radiation, anomalies, bad scripts, bad missions, invisible walls, blocked passageways. It feels like old cheap game stuff is holding back a newer-feeling-game. Just so much Artificial suffering. Not even bethesda quests are this interfuckulated
and the mods just make it worse! They try and pretend its a realistic game! You cant just remove 90% of the players health from the vanilla game and say "realistic" When you figure out a way to make AI stop stop being able to shoot through bushes, and yaknow...MISS SHOTS EVERY ONCE IN A WHILE. Then and only then do you have permission to make the player die in 2 shots
I hate AAA games, i despise call of duty, but theres a reason millions of people play cod and only hundreds of people play stalker. There needs to be a balanced middle ground. Having 700 save games in a single playthrough on the easiest difficulty is not a good video game.
Are there any mods that just use the stalker environments, weapons, sounds, and literally nothing else? Like a true sandbox with no scripts.
And i got to find a way to disable anomalies, if there was an RPG-esque solution for them i would probably enjoy them. We need to be able to disable them somehow. Seeing your car explode in the middle of a street just makes you want to uninstall the game.
A good game would say "follow the road to stay safe from anomalies".. But this troll does the opposite and puts anomalies right in the center of all the roads
im just frustrated at how close this is to being a good game. The gameworld is superior to dayz chernaurus. But the horrible scripts and missions and CLUNK make me think dayz is the better game currently
Anomalies and radiation is fkn nerdy and shallow and fake, the only place there should be radiation in the game is in those towering metal garbage piles and NOWHERE else. Stop being annoying just for the sake of being annoying

Fakes, scammers, and generally FUBAR people I encountered over the last week:

• To the surprise of no one, a fake responded to fakes report that I posted last week. Deleted when she asked to speak on WhatApp or Google Chat.
• Someone from way out in NJ who liked my Facebook Dating profile without reading that I not only have five cats of my own and do animal rescue around where I live but even have a podcast all about shelter cats. Her profile stated that she was allergic to animals. Deleted after letting her know that she should have gone to the trouble of reading my profile.
• A nurse from Canada who keeps trying to communicate with me, then has nothing to say except repeating how lonely she is, only to ghost me and then accuse me of ghosting her. Blocked after going silent yet again after a few days of pleasant but mundane conversation.
• A.....not sure what she does......from texas who claimed to be falling in love with me despite being unwilling to communicate with me aside from voice messages back and forth over telegram. Claimed to have no working phone and was too nervous to chat, yet kept sending me unsolicited x-rated videos of herself that were clearly not recorded for me. Deleted after I refused to give her money and after not responding to my repeated attempts to have at least one live conversation with her.

So there you have it. My fakes report for the week. To be perfectly honest, my interest in dating has never been weaker. I can only play this stupid awful dating game for shorter and shorter periods before I just don't want to bother.
Such is the state of OLD in late spring of 2023. OLD, as a source to meet people, is a tired, played out, awful way to find someone to settle down with. For every success story there are MILLIONS of awful stories of failed relationships, fakes, bots, scammers, and people so filled with red flags you can line an airport runway with them and land a plane.
Get involved in your community, volunteer, be active in local groups or your church, temple, or mosque, do ANYTHING else except think you'll actually meet a real, normal person on OLD>. Even the reddit r4r, which was cute for a while and was a throwback in some ways to the dating section that once was on CL, is now also run its course.

To expand on the title, I am getting so tired of the community on console that I have started playing HLL less and less.
I love HLL for the gun play, hardcore shooter vibes, and the strategy that goes into every match. There is really no other game that I’ve played that matches the atmosphere and gameplay of HLL. I love the fact that communication is pretty much mandatory and have met a ton of really great people playing this game.
That said, lately it has been impossible for me to join a squad and not immediately hear some edgy kid ask me if I hate black people while spouting the N-word nonstop. Last night, I hopped on to play a few games before bed and was greeted by my squad yelling white power. Left that squad, and the next one was no better. This happened for most of the night until I just said fuck it and went to bed.
I’ve convinced a few friends to buy the game and play with me, but I’m almost too embarrassed to play with them now when every other player you meet is a card carrying klan member.
I’m half venting and half looking for solutions. Beyond filing meaningless reports, how can we address this as a community? It hurts seeing my favorite game turn into a 4chan chat room and I’d love to get things back on track.

I've sort of diagnosed my issue but I can't seem to figure out where to go from this point.

I downloaded LatencyMon and it is telling me that there is a DPC routine affecting my audio device which causes it to crackle, pop and just cut out in places.

I know it's the Nvidia drivers for my GPU but I can't seem to find out how the hell to fix it. If there is a fix at all?

I installed the beta drivers for focusrite which apparently help with running on Win11? This has done nothing, all BOIS and drivers are up to date. And power management? Very bizarre my PSU should be fine running all this? Or would it be a USB hub problem from the motherboard?
The throttling CPU is bizarre so I went into BIOS and set it to alwasy stay at 3.7GHz... No change

Thought I'd finally come in here and share some info on the sales engineering career path. Day after day, I read on here the drama about deciding for either mud logging or environmental. I've had my stint with enviro, I've had my stint with the oil field and I liked neither. I ended up in corporate business-to-business sales engineering, and here is why I think that any geo graduate should consider it as a third option.

• Earnings potential: Make base salaries of around 80k plus commission after a couple years doing it.
• The hours:
  • Sales engineers typically put in an actual workload of between 35 to 50 hours per week.
  • 40+ hour weeks are usually the road weeks, where you'll spend about 20 to 25 hours of that time in the car.
  • If you are good with organizing yourself, it is very easy to keep your weekends clear.
• The colleagues and customers:
  • You will work with intelligent and well adjusted people. So no having to deal with felonious drillers or anything like that.
  • Interact with other engineers and scientists all day.
  • Be the comms wire between internal and external project stakeholders.
• The work:
  • Half your time is spent with admin stuff, internal meetings and working out quotes.
  • The other half is spent customer facing or in the car.
  • Typically home office based, live in your sales territory.
  • Business lunches, coffee and lots of hand-shaking.
• How to become a corpo sales engineer:
  • Think of the technology you are using at your uni lab, field equipment or at your geo job.
  • Find out which companies make these systems.
  • Apply to these companies' sales role job postings and make sure they understand that you are familiar with their tech, the market in which that tech is used (if you have a graduate level role in the industry then you are) and that you - want - to sell.
  • (!) (!) (!) Make sure that the role you are applying to actually requires a degree. You don't want to trade your degree position for just any old sales job because unitcell on reddit said that sales is good.

Hello, hoping that someone can give me some advice here. System is 20+ years old and one sprinkler has broken down near the base. See picture below.
Can I use any type of glue to fix this, or do I need to trace the line and replace it along with a new head/assembly (terminology is probably wrong)?

The Desktop app in Mac (version 16.73) has a new menubar icon that shows today's calendar among other things. I hate the monochrome look and normally change the menu bar icons to color by manually editing the icon found within the Resources folder of the Application.

I GENUINELY don’t understand how people find relationships these days. Is it all just through dating apps?
I don’t even think I’m that ugly. I’ve nearly been in a relationship before, but just didn’t get the hints. My main issue is finding environments where I could even meet a girl and BEGIN to form any kind of connection. My career and college major is largely male dominated, so most of the time I’m surrounded by dudes.
Like is it just me, or has dating become basically impossible over the last several years? It feels like we’re moving towards a world where a minority of people are dating, and most of that minority is addicted to the hedonism of hookup culture.
