I’ve been dating my boyfriend for about four months now and he’s like, madly in love with me. Already. This is baffling to me since he doesn’t really know me! And I don’t really know him! How can you know you love someone if you’ve only known someone for a few months???? He is getting worried that I won’t ever fall in love like that since I told him that I’ve never been “in love” before. It’s such a nebulous and vague concept, so how would I even know? He’s worried that he will basically just be a best friend but with cuddles. I want him to be my special person! I’m also asexual, and he says he’s ok with that, so…. I guess I just gotta take his word for it. But he doesn’t think he could be just “best friends +.” I honestly have no idea what to do. Like, I always just insist that I am slow in relationships and I don’t commit right away and I can’t feel that romantic attraction right away. I got the initial “puppy love” that you get in a new relationship, but that wore off a while ago. Now reality set in and I feel like my life would be soooo much easier if I could just “love” him the way he wishes I could. I have never really “fallen in love” before. I haven’t even fallen for any of my friends. I don’t know whether I am aromantic or demiromantic or just afraid to let myself go and fall in love. I get so angry at myself for not being able to love people that way. I’ve accepted I’m asexual and I’m totally fine with that, but being aromantic is hard when I genuinely do want a special person to spend my life with, but it just doesn’t feel right! I’ve been job hunting since October, was a final year student in uni. Applied to at least 100-120 roles (both grad schemes and entry-level) from mid October until start of May, did about 12-15 interviews and two assessment centres. The rest were rejections or just flat-out ghosting. Hunting for a job is a job in itself, alongside actually working a part time job and enduring a demanding degree from an academically stringent uni. Everyone knows how competitive the job market is right now, especially for entry-level workers or graduates like myself, who have minimum leverage to flex in this saturated market, compounded by this living crisis. I have a few internships under my belt from Fortune 500’s, speak a few languages, and worked at a respectable retailer to pay my bills during my degree, but I still hardly make a dent amongst literally thousands of other candidates and nepotism.
I’ve been waiting for a response from the Treasury since February, and we know that grad schemes are notoriously competitive and the CS is super slow at responses. Last Friday I finally got the answer I was waiting for nearly 8 months, and I can now breathe normally for the first time in what seems forever. Ive been a long time lurker on this sub as I proceeded with each stage, and I will forever be grateful for everyone’s advice, banter, as well as harsh nuggets of realities. When I first came here I didn't know anything about cars and ended up with a Honda Fit GE6. It's a cute car, but it is the most uncomfortable and noisiest thing I have ever driven. I'm done with it. It's not worth deadening as higher trims have more sound insulation. I can't put fat tires or I will risk failing inspection.
I live in the countryside and everyone drives small cars here. I really don't want a big car because it's so inconvenient. Nonetheless I have to do something about this car so I am going to look at a Prius 30.

I woke up in the middle of the night to the sound of thunder and pouring rain. The power had gone out, leaving the house engulfed in an eerie darkness. I realized that I was home alone, my parents away on a business trip. The solitude was overwhelming, and an unsettling feeling crept up my spine.
As I lay in bed, the storm raged on outside, the wind howling like a beast. Every creak and groan of the old house echoed through the silence, magnifying my sense of unease. I decided to get up and find some candles, hoping that their flickering flames would bring me some comfort in the pitch-black darkness.
I tiptoed down the hallway, my heart pounding in my chest. The only source of light was the occasional flash of lightning that illuminated the surroundings for a split second before plunging it back into darkness. With each flash, I caught glimpses of strange shapes and shadows that seemed to move in the corners of my vision, making me question my own sanity.
Finally, I reached the kitchen and found the drawer where the candles were kept. I lit them one by one, their feeble glow providing a small sanctuary against the encroaching darkness. I made my way back to my room, but as I passed the staircase, I heard a faint whisper, barely audible above the storm.
My heart skipped a beat, and I stopped dead in my tracks. The whisper came again, clearer this time, as if beckoning me to investigate. Fear and curiosity battled within me, but against my better judgment, I followed the sound.
Slowly, I descended the stairs, the candle's flame quivering in my trembling hand. The whispers grew louder, seeming to come from the depths of the basement. With every step, the darkness grew thicker, suffocating me, making it difficult to breathe.
Reaching the basement door, I hesitated. The voices were now distinct, but their words were incomprehensible, an otherworldly language that sent shivers down my spine. I swallowed my fear and pushed open the door, stepping into the abyss below.
The basement was colder than the rest of the house, its air heavy with dampness and a faint, musty smell. The whispers surrounded me, their intensity increasing with each passing moment. I navigated through the maze of storage boxes and old furniture, guided solely by the flickering light of my candle.
Then, I saw it—an old mirror leaning against the far wall. The whispers seemed to emanate from it, growing louder and more urgent. I approached cautiously, unable to tear my eyes away from the reflection staring back at me.

I see Dan at the weekends now as he lives in a different city (around 30-40 minutes away) so I don’t see him during the week. Lucy’s apartment is around 15-20 minute drive from my parents house. Side note which I am not sure is relevant: Lucy has had a boyfriend for 6 months who I have not met.
Dan and I are in the process of buying a house. I am moving to Dan’s city. When I told Lucy that we are buying a house, she did not express any happiness for me. The only thing she said was “I can’t believe you’re leaving me”. We have now been in the house buying process for 6 months and I have continued to see Lucy once a week. Lucy has never asked how the house buying process is going. When I started looking at houses, Lucy never asked if I’d seen any houses that I had liked. When I put an offer in on the house, she didn’t ask to see pictures and hasn’t asked for any details of when I might be moving. I feel that it has now become a taboo subject that I feel I am not allowed to talk about with Lucy.
This week, Dan and I have booked a vacation to Italy, which will be the farthest destination either of us have ever been to, and we are both very excited. I texted Lucy to tell her that we have booked this vacation, and she did not ask for any details. Her response was just “why haven’t we been anywhere together”. I then offered for us to go away for a weekend and Lucy didn’t reply. I have seen Lucy since the vacation was booked and it was not brought up at all.
Lucy has previously told me that she is upset with me that I don’t invite her on dates with myself and Dan. I have since tried to invite her out with me and Dan more often. One time, I invited Lucy to do something in Dan’s city, and she declined as it was “too far away”. I pointed out it is only 15-20 minutes farther than I travel every time I see her, and that I will be moving there so she’ll have to travel eventually, but she still declined.
I no longer feel happy with my friendship with Lucy. I feel awkward when I see her, as I feel that I can’t talk about anything good that is happening in my life. I don’t know how to approach this situation. Lucy and I have been friends for a very long time and she doesn’t have many other friends so I feel that I am her crutch. She relies on me, sometimes ahead of her family who she is incredibly close with, and it would be difficult for her if I stopped being her friend. Lucy has mental health issues that she has been suffering with for a very long time and I feel this would make it worse. However, I feel that too many things have happened which make me feel like Lucy has no interest in my happiness for me to continue being her friend.
TLDR; my best friend doesn’t seem happy for me when good things happen and it has driven a wedge between us. How do I stop being her friend?

It is so hard for me not to see myself as lazy. My house is a mess, full of clutter, my kids have no organizational/cleaning skills because they have no role model and thus their room is a mess. I’m still massively behind in my documentation for work still after having a meeting about it a month ago. I cannot get my work done in the time I need to despite staying late often. I can’t stick to any routine, fitness, diet, chores. I’m on adderall IR 30mg twice a day (tried Vyvanse and ER adderall so far with no improvement). Prozac for depression. So here I am on my last day off and completely overwhelmed and anxious by the sheer amount of things that I DID not do. What do I do? Grocery shop? Meal plan? Clean? Laundry? Work documentation? Declutter my bedroom that I can barely walk through due to clutter? Go shop for treat bags for my sons birthday party this Saturday since I’ll have no chance to do it other than Saturday morning? Pay bills? Goto bank to get money out of Closed account that’s been sitting there for a year? And all of these decisions come with more branches of decisions- what food do I buy? Will I really cook it? Old documentation? New because it’s fresher in my head? What do I put in treat bags that isn’t junk? What clothes and stuff do I keep and what do I get rid of? I’m drowning in decisions… So what do I do? DoorDash Starbucks and watch a TV series all morning while in depth searching and researching for the best body washes and shampoos. I need help but my husband is depressed and burnt out with my ineptitude. I’m so anxious I want to scream. I feel a bit better getting this out. Laundry is the least offensive and least overwhelming item on the list. Wash. Dry. Put away (unlikely but let’s pretend). I’ll start there.

Last night, I ran four Hex perks in a single build while playing as Wesker: Blood Favour, Undying, Pentimento, and The Third Seal.
Blood Favour lasted a long time thanks to Undying if the totem was destroyed early in the match. Since the pallets were blocked, I was able to win the chases a lot faster. Third Seal kept a lot of the survivors oblivious especially for those who didn’t destroy the totems. And I was able to use Pentimento pretty frequently with each totem being destroyed and slowed the game a lot, especially if I infected them with Wesker’s grab. I even got all 5 totems active in my last match last night.
Overall, I got 4ks in almost every match aside from a couple where 1 survivor escaped. This will be one of my main builds going forward.

• Bari Bari No Mi (Barrier-Barrier Fruit)

I can imagine three things for the bari bari awakening

1. The user can make as many barriers as they please however the barriers have a time limit
2. The user no longer has to cross their fingers & can simply do it through mental will
3. A fusion of the last two, in which they create as many as they please without needing to cross their fingers.

• Hana Hana No Mi (Flower-Flower Fruit)

Originally i would have said they can create any part of their body however Robin has proven to be able to do that, So i went with the next best thing, the user takes no damage from their sprouted body parts.

• Sube Sube No Mi (Slip-Slip Fruit/Smooth-Smooth Fruit)

I can imagine only one thing for its awakening, it allows its user to make anything as slippery as they are, like the awa awa no mi (Bubble-Bubble Fruit).

• Bara Bara No Mi (Chop-Chop Fruit)

I believe it would be similar to what people believe, i believe it's awakening would allow it's user not to chop anything, but cut anything.

• Toki Toki No Mi (Time-Time Fruit)

As the user can only travel further in time, i believe the awakening would allow the user to travel, forward or backwards in time.
