Just relieved the LE in orange. Glad I got orange. I was shocked shooting it in my backyard. Never seen or hear an sd hd etc but this was damn near if not as loud as a real gun. The sound alone would be a major deterrent and also draw the attention of every cop around. I was gonna have someone shoot me with it to test it's power but after seeing and hearing it I will def not do that. I was going to purchase a heavier kinetic round but honestly not sure how "less lethal" that would be if you shot someone in the eye/head. Might just keep byrna rounds only for legal reasons if I ever have to use it. Anyone else have the LE and theirs sounds as loud?

Probably a long shot, but I think my wallet fell out of my pocket at a very specific spot on Highway 6 right outside of the Great Sand Dunes. There is about $200 bucks in cash in there. I watched this entire series and am aggravated for a multitude of reasons. Obviously, the content is very aggravating, but the way the docuseries was edited and paced was also fucking horrible. It's honestly on-par with the quality and care of true crime mukbangs.

The entire first half of the series is from the father's point of view. Having seen the latter half, where it's basically been confirmed that she was indeed a child, I think doing this was horrible. Either they were actually entertaining his ideas, or they were using him as bait of sorts so that people can be shocked when they present the supposed truth later on. Not only that, but they do not pursue enough expert opinions throughout the entirety of the series. They show a discussion with a doctor near the end.

Did anyone else feel like it was seriously disappointing that they don't consult with any doctors that have been removed from the situation? Doctors that work specifically with different kinds of dwarfism? Psychologists? CHILD psychologists? I'm not even in the psych field but a lot of the behavior described is very clear to me that she definitely had behavioral issues due to the environments she has been in! Orphanages and being adopted multiple times would no doubt cause some sort of abandonment issues at the very least. No less in a family that sees their son as a cash cow. Along with that, the entire thing about her being physically developed made me so angry. Is it possible she was a few years older than claimed? Maybe. It is also possible that dwarfism (a condition that impacts development) could also contribute to a slightly earlier puberty? I think so. But we can't know because they don't even question what is told by this Shane Dawson-adjacent father. They don't even get a child psychologist to talk about the potential developments that occur from childhood SA (which conveniently line up with a lot of Natalia's actions).

I also found the conversations with the neighbors to be ridiculous. All of them talking about how evil and eerie and abandoned special needs child is. Letting this old hag go on for almost an hour about how crazy she was and how she was preying on her grandchildren very much aggravated me. All of the behavior they are describing is soooo self-explanatory for a child-- let alone a child in the environments she was in. She knew no boundaries because she was never taught them and had no adults in her life. Even when the old lady caught her in her house, all she was doing was looking for food? If she was a grown adult looking to be malicious, why would she be getting food, and why would she just accept that she was wrong when getting caught? It doesn't make sense. The editing of this doc, and keeping so many of these people's comments makes me sick. It is so disrespectful to this little girl who has been through so much. The entire thing about this that doesn't make sense is that even if Natalia was indeed 22, mentally it was VERY clear to me even in the short videos we see that she was mentally still a child. It makes absolutely no sense why they have all these people coming on camera to talk poorly about someone that was an abandoned child. Was the intent to villainize them as well?

Another layer of this is just the gall of opening these wounds for Natalia. This girl was gaslit so much throughout her childhood. And now we are giving a platform to her abusers. Millions of people are tuning in to hear the "perspective" of her abuser while he abdicated all responsibility. It makes me sick to my stomach. I've seen so many people discussing this docuseries that have seemed to miss so much information; there are many discussions I've seen misrepresenting parts of the doc and saying "well I think this is proof she's a grown adult." Just sooo irresponsible.

Am i the only one who has such strong body dysmorphia i have no idea what i look like anymore?
I cannot tell if im obese, fat, overweight, chubby, thick boned. I just have no idea anymore.
I have severe body dysmorphia, and i can genuinely see myself get bigger everyday especially after each meal. But this is getting out of control rn. I obsess over mirrors and windows outside, i can't stop checking how i look in any reflection, even spoon reflections or shadow reflections. People usually say i just look chubby/overweight nowhere near to looking obese or unhealthy. But then again i have "friends" "joking" around comparing me to cows or the 600lbs sisters.
I am extremely confused about myself, i don't know where i fit anymore, some people make me feel like i look good some people make me feel like i look terrible. I try hard to guess myself how i really look, i measure my body, and then put the tape infront of me to see how fat i look to others, or i put my hands on the sides of my waist then put them infront of me and guess if thats how fat i look.
Because obviously i am convinced that shadows, mirrors, windows any reflections of me are distorted and none show how i really look well except the ones where i look the fatter. I tend to cry telling myself those are the accurate ones. Phones and cameras are even worse, in some i look horrible and fat, and in some i look very good and healthy, obv i feel like a catfish in photos and videos where i look great.
Point is, I'm confused and i wanna hear from others if im not alone, if this is part of body dysmorphia? Is it some other mental illiness? I just dont know what i am anymore.

I don't know how to feel about this. I really like him . I was ok with the fact that they have been separated but I couldnt hear the part where he said that what we are is an extramarital affair.. My point is if sepearation is concensual, then how seeing me is an extramarital affair on moral grounds.. I felt cheap after hearing that . Please tell me what should i do .

I live in the city near Amish country. I'm about a 20 minute drive from at least a dozen puppy mills. My partner drives an electric bike to work and found what he believed to be a male yorkie (bless his heart) deceased in a hit and run in March. He asked me if I wanted him and of course I did but I had already taken my sleeping medication and he had to get to work so she was outdoors in 45-54F temps until 8am when she was dropped off at my apartment and put on ice. Once I got her I told my partner that she was definitely some variety of shepherd mix and is a girl so I took to calling her Astolfo.

I examined her body today and included some pics of what are the most damaged areas on her. Aside from removing from ticks and having an obviously mangled face, she looks surprisingly good. No signs of bloat or other bugs. Blood was/is fresh red. If I am able to preserve her I'd sew her eyes shut since there's no saving them and I'd also wire her jaw. I want to have her curled up like she's sleeping. Yes I am aware this is ridiculously ambitious for a first project. No I will not start with something easier. I have to help her. I hope you understand.

Here's a link to the pictures I included. TW for the obvious. Most people don't think she's beautiful right now and that's okay. Her one ear shows some blood inside, her eyes seemed to be obliterated then frozen over, some teeth are knocked loose and her jaw looks broken. Two of her nipples look peculiar which is what I'm most concerned about being the potential early sign of decay.

NOTE: The small teeth looking things are gravel I used to weigh down the puppy pad before I got her frozen body out there. They are not part of her body.

During my most recent bender, I somehow lost one of my most favorite earrings. I looked at photos throughout the night to triangulate where it could have gone, and deduced it most likely fell off at one of the bars I visited during the night.
So I drove there, and asked the bartender if anyone turned it in to the lost and found. Shit. No luck.
I was a little devastated, to be honest. They don’t make these earrings anymore.
Aside from my lost jewelry, it was otherwise turning out to be a nice night. The weather was beautiful and it had been about a week since I’d been out and social, near the buzz of people. It was also a full moon.
So I ordered a tonic water, got comfy at a table, and decided to make a little list called “Alcohol Co$t Me”. I’d like to say I made good headway into this list, but I was quickly distracted by random bar patrons looking for a place to sit and drink. If I’m being honest, half of me was annoyed, but the other half was intrigued. I couldn’t remember the last time I’d been sober at the bar long enough to talk to drunk people. So talking to them, watching them be vulnerable, and distracted, and sloshy, it was a surreal experience. Did I used to act that way? Had I been unknowingly pushing people away with my honesty? Was I also too raw in my vulnerability over feeling alone? And was that loneliness real, or was it the alcohol numbing me?
I did meet some lovely people. A drunk nurse showed me nudes of his ass, and lamented that it’s shrinking, even tho he never trains it. I met a saltwater aquarium enthusiast who told me how to keep my coral alive. I also leant an ear to a grieving older man, trying to re renter the world after losing his husband to cancer. (Funnily enough, I had actually met all of these people before. I just was too blackout to remember. Life is funny that way.)
It was a learning experience, for sure. Lovely all the same, but it felt like a sweet goodbye. Goodbye to the chaos, the blasting music, and the thrill of the hookup. Goodbye to the compulsion to obliterate my mind. Hello to reality, good bad and ugly.
As for me right now, I’m over here sitting pretty still feeling shaky. Getting night sweats, feeling shaky, fighting waves of fatigue and confusion. Sex is overstimulating and my skin often feels like it’s crawling. I’m moving back home to re-center and gain some weight. Alcohol did a lot of damage, but I’m confident in my recovery. I’m so grateful to my family for being there for me so I can start over. And I’m grateful to you all for bolstering my resolve with your stories and support

The first episode of Boardwalk empire premiered damn near in 2010, it doesn’t sound really sound long ago to me but it’s the same equivalent to the year 2000 to 2013 which is crazy to me. What do you think Boardwalk empire would be like if it was made today in 2023? I definitely don’t think the quality of the show would be as it was due to very touchy subjects, agendas, and the streaming service boom. Streaming services got big while boardwalk empire was in its run but now it’s insert company and add a + at the end. I don’t think the show would have made 5 seasons either. What do you think?

So many years ago I was sexually assaulted and given gonorrhea. Due to the circumstances I wasnt able to get immediate medical attention for myself and by the time I had medical assistance it had already destroyed my fallopian tubes. Anyways, husband and I went thru one round of IVF to get pregnant. Turns out we are super fertile when you remove the fallopian tube obstacle.
20 eggs, 16 mature, 15 fertilized...and all 15 made it to day 5. We got pregnant and I had an awful pregnancy and nearly died. Doctor has informed me getting pregnant again is not a wise choice. So now we have 13 embryos.
I wish I financially and physically could handle giving birth to the remaining 13 but I can't. I care about them and want to give them the best I can in the circumstances. So...here I am.
Both sides of our families know about what's going on and are open to having whatever relationship the kiddos want. I'm wondering what is best for them so wanted to come here to ask--in a perfect world, what do you wish would have happened?
I've read studies where 100% of donor babies wish they knew their health history so we absolutely intend to write it down for each kiddo. But what else?
Do you wish you had a photoablum of your bio parents? Do you wish you had handwritten letters from them? Do you wish you knew your origin story as a little kid instead of learning as an adult?do you wish there were yearly picnics with your bio family and other bio siblings?
I know perfect worlds dont exist because in a perfect world I'd be a whole lot younger and richer and could carry all embryos to term, but I'd like to do as much as I can for them as possible to help them.
I appreciate any insight youd be willing to give me.

Two years of working at RTR at PISC right out of boot. MSG in Prague and Bangkok. Last 12 months Div. Legal, 3rd MARDIV, Camp Courtney, Oki. Accepted at my choice of Uni. back home. My guys, was misfit platoon Sgt., got me hammered the day the letter came. Career planner cancels Appt. I am a Short timer now.
Off the Freedom Bird and now at Camp Paindelton for EAS. Next day at our AM formation, only two NCO’s, me (E5) and another Marine (E6) are standing off to the side. We are told to join the formation by the E5 in charge for “inspection”. The SSgt. and I look at each other and join the end of one of the ranks. The results of the “inspection” are that my appearance is unsatisfactory, according to the Sgt. Same for the SSgt. We need to shine our brass, detail our footwear and get a haircut. Inspection over.
Next command is to “fall out and police the area”. SSgt. and I start walking towards nearby smoking area. Just as we are lighting up, Sgt. Inspection walks up and states: “since you chose not to obey my order to police the area, you can do this area. Police those butts before you leave.”
I have only minimum recall of the next few minutes. Later on, the SSgt. told me that he was very relieved that the look in my eyes was not directed at him. I don’t recall saying anything but just walked towards Bn HQ, and checked in with the SgtMaj’s assistant and was told to take a seat. SSgt. walks in shortly thereafter and sits down near me. He states that Sgt. Inspection is looking to catch me away from this office to “talk”.
We trade times and places in the Crotch and that we are both getting out to attend university. Done deals. We had both had once re-up’d to get the duty we wanted, did it, and we’re headed home now. No Career Planner Appt. needed.
We sit there for a couple of hours BS’ing and start thinking of heading for chow and returning after the PM formation. Then in walks Sgt. Inspection. This guy is singularly unimpressive. Not really squared away, just sorta old and wrinkled, in every way. Oh, and a fake R. Lee Ermey type voice.
So, Sgt. Inspection goes into SgtMaj’s office for a few minutes and exits both office and building a few minutes later. No eye contact but he appears to be “disquieted”.
Logically, SSgt. and are in the office next. We are asked for our “purpose” in requesting his time. We relay the story of the earlier inspection and order to police cigarette butts. I communicated that while I may be getting out, until that day, I would conduct myself as an E5 with almost 6 years of service and over 45 months in grade and since I had served honorably, I expected to be treated as one. So what’s going on?
SgtMaj. tells us that Sgt. Inspection is a very recent return after separation, awaiting his first PCS Orders after coming back in. His theory was that the Sgt. didn’t care for folks like the SSgt. and I who chose to get out. Why? WTFK’s? Dick.
Lastly, SgtMaj’s final direction is to stand AM formation, listen for our names and if not called, return for PM formation. No BS duty.
Works for us. We call a taxi, and hit the rental car place. We enjoy our last few days of “active” duty. Mostly clubs, booze and hookups. Fun EAS after all.
The way this all worked out was very satisfying to me. Oh yeah, one more thing. The night before heading flying home, (another story) I hooked up with the WM that Sgt. Inspection had been feeding drinks to for a few hours at the E Club. Oorah! Semper Fi!

I haven’t played in 20 years, and would like to give it a shot again. Looking for good places to check out near Denver. I’d love to be able to rent a solid marker, or if someone wants to take me and loan me gear, I’ll pay for paint.

I don’t know what it is about my dog but other dogs pick on him. He hangs around other dogs of the same age and breed and they don’t have these issues. Today we went on a walk at a popular park and dogs walking the opposite way kept lunging at him and it’s not like he was trying to interact with them at all. A few of them were able to make contact and be yelped a few times. In the last third of the walk he just started to hide behind me when any dog was near.
I’m worried he’ll become fearful. He’s such a happy go lucky, friendly dog. He has puppy energy and I know that can be annoying but sometimes he’s just minding his own business and dogs will lunge for him. But the other dogs I was with were entirely left alone. Everyone kept commenting “wow my dog never does that”, etc
Henry is 8 months, male, mini dachshund. Possibly the least intimidating dog ever.

So exactly what the title says a guy asked me to date him and I told him no and just said he isn’t my type. But let me explain from the very beginning before I even knew him.

I'm starting college on August 27th and I've never had a car before. With my parent's financial situation I'm completely alone in buying a car, so I have been working my ass off during high school and now summer.
I have around $1.3k saved up towards a car but I'm looking at fb marketplace and cars are really expensive on there. I'm working more to get as much money as I can before college starts, but I'm not sure what kind of cars to look into, if I should look at online stores or dealerships, or even if I have a strong base to buy one at the moment or in the very near future.

Does anyone have any recommendations on what to look for, both positive and negative? For example are schools with full time instructors important? What about the number of planes they have available? Would love to know what to ask them.

Yesterday I was wearing contacts when I attended a concert (was wearing them all day with 0 issues) and at some point, my right contact shifted and would not stay in place so safe to say I was messing around with my eye for a good part of the night trying to get my contact back into place/find it in my eye (which I did not find it - I'm thinking it fell out and I prodded my eye for nothing)
This morning when I woke up, I had the following issues:

• Eyelid and below the eye was/is still puffy/swollen
• eye was watering for about a good hour but has not watered in about 5 hours
• lower part of my eye is red (only the blood vessels are super red, no patches of redness)
• hurts when I blink (which I guess could be part of the puffiness, it feels how it would if I had a stye and I blinked)

I'm not sure if I should be going to a doctor or my optometrist about this or just wait it out? My eyesight seems fine when I'm wearing my glasses. Being it's Sunday, my optometrist is not open and same with the walk in clinic near me (I don't have a family doctor).

I'm a 27M, currently studying in uni here in Canada. Average looking guy, unironically have too much money to spend for my own, I have my own house and a good job. I'm living an introvert's paradise. But it's starting to take a toll on me.
I have bestfriends and family, but I'm always alone. I'd like to think that it's not too hard to get a date for me since I've tried, managed to hook up once in a while but it's always unsettling for me. Not just for me but my partners. My ex wife ruined me and it scares me to no end that people are just out to take advantage of me.
Let's jump back about 12 years ago when we first became boyfriend and girlfriend. She is a mega stacy, malakas mang okray, and just the worst and also the best person I ever met that time. Half of our college life, I spent courting her friend who never reciprocated my feelings. It was okay, I was young, I went after the cutest girl in our room, it was a love based on looks i guess. So when her friend got a boyfriend, I gave up and just focus on my career. She was always my wingman so nung na busted ako, she just laughed at me. She's the worst person afterall. On our 3rd-4th year, we became close friends, best friends in fact. It was hard to say that I love her romantically because I see her as a tropa or maybe kapatid, or maybe I just distanced myself from her enough to avoid it, but I can tell it's there. She's not a very romantic person either, she loves kpop, very girly, but not the type of girl who has crushes on guys. She's also an introvert like me so we had the mutual boundary respect going on.
A month before we graduated, my papers to move to Canada as a permanent resident was accepted and we had to move on the next month right away. That's when I first realized I'm going to have to leave her and the thought nearly broke me. This is the first time I realized I actually love her. If her friend was 9/10, she was an 8 in appearance but is an 11/10 on everything else. So I confessed, I told her I love her and her reply was basically "I think I love you too but we're about to enter an LDR so I'm really not sure. Let's just stay the way we are and see where it goes."
6 years later we're still going strong. Everything I did for the past years was all for her. I got my first house, I saved tons that it's enough to let us travel to different countries after she accepts to marry me. So I went back home in PH, asked her to marry me and she did. I saved for a church wedding too but first we agreed to get a civil wedding first just so I could process her papers and bring her to Canada with me. It was the best time of our life and we're both happy. Until we're not.
Maybe the trauma clouded my memories, even as I type this, I'm trying to remember the events that concluded before the day I lost her. June 2019, 3rd month after our wedding, we're still happy, but I'm back to Canada and grinding for more savings. We were so contented and just waiting for her papers to be processed. November 2019, something happened to her relating to her sister's husband trying to make a move on her. Pina demanda nmin and I remember being so mad. December was hazy, we were both so stressed, winter weather is adding on to me, I'm always tired and cold. January 2020, 2 months before the start of pandemic. I remember I had a few arguments with her that wasn't really anything major. I got upset and decided it's my turn na babyhin, because I would always apologize to her when we argue sometimes. Initially I planned to see how long it'll take for her to text me. Little did I know that, it was the last time I would hear of her ever again.
During this time, I planned trips to surprise her. I booked us a flight to France by february, we'll spend a month there and go to Japan by March para tumira sa relative namin. By April we would go back home to PH and spend more time there together. But covid had other plans for me, by other plans I mean, it literally just kept me from seeing her.
February is fast approaching, and she's still not messaging me. At this point I've already been spamming our messenger for weeks. I've contacted her friends, sisters and mother and they won't tell me anything aside from just "give her time". Our trip to France was set and I went there myself, spend 2 days alone in a hotel before I decided to cut it short and go home. (I got lucky because the next day, they closed down the whole country). So I'm back here in Canada, waiting and just working. Worried sick and full of anxiety.
And just like that, I lost my wife and never heard of her again.
Of course I went through the stages of grief. I was in a loophole. Maybe she just needs more time.. Maybe she cheated? Maybe i fucked up for not apologizing to her on our last argument 6 months ago. By the end of 2020 I was in deep depression and I never really attempted suicide but the thought to this day lingers. It's just that, everytime the thought of killing myself becomes ripe, my bestfriends would always be there to distract me and give me a good time. Seeing my mother helped a lot too. I can't break her heart so I mostly fought for her. I haven't given her a proper gift since I was born because I didn't had a job back then and when I did get one, I was already so focus to my wife. The last thing I could do to her is give her a dead child. It was a harrowing 2 years of knowing nothing and just moving in autopilot. The box was so small that the ball just keeps bumping that button and it always fucks me up when it does. In those 2 years I've also burned through my savings building my expensive ass PCs, games, alchohol, weeds and traveling across Canada to hook up.
It was only last year when I finally got tired of my loophole that I finally started dragging myself to move on inch by inch. I started working again and got a good job. I'm making new friends and pursuing my career. I made peace with my unresolved past and each day, the box grows bigger for me, giving me more time and space to breathe on.
Today my ball hit the button and my world was falling apart until I got this off my chest by writing this. Thanks for reading.
