I started off the night with 2 couplets , one of the babies needed a 24 hour screening and VS at 12am.
It was 11:30pm, when I was given a postpartum mom who was positive for different kinds of drugs , had not got up to pee yet (so she had no pad or underwear on) , was drowsy and not really able to have a conversation with me and to top it off , her BP’s were high (150/90 or more). The labor nurse who gave me to her didn’t speak or get orders from the dr. about her high BP’s. I asked her if she was going to talk to the doctor and eventually she did and only asked for one order.
As I was in the room to meet the patient, I noticed her IV infiltrated and her Pitocin wasn’t going. The labor nurse (who was now in the room to give her the BP med) told me that it wasn’t like that when she left. I ended up calling house supervisor to come and get an IV on her because she was a hard stick and I needed to get the BP’s down and the Pitocin running again.
The labor nurse left and told me that she had no other patients, so I was upset because if she had no other patients why didn’t she hand her off to me when the patient was stable. Instead I was in the room trying to make sure that the patient had underwear on, I was able to give her a BP med IV push and tried to make sure she was okay before I left. At the same time, I had the physician giving me more orders for her.
As I was getting another medication , my charge nurse told me that she was going to give me another patient. I snapped back because I told her that I was trying to make sure that the patient that I had was stable before I could get another one. She snapped back at me and told me that she was letting me know and basically had no option. Meanwhile the labor nurse was just sitting there resting her head. I was super upset because at this time , it was 12:50am and I still had not got to the baby that I was supposed to do the newborn screen and VS for.
I normally don’t get upset but I was very upset that the labor nurse handed me a patient who was not stable and had no orders for medications and the charge was trying to hand me another patient and baby while watching me run around trying to make sure that the patient was stable. I felt like I advocated for myself since I knew I couldn’t take on another patient until the BP patient was more stable. I ended up the night with 7 patients and just prayed that my night would get better.
Am I in the wrong? Was I dramatic about it?
I still feel upset to this day about it.

My partner and I have been together for a while and we’re really great together, I have no doubt that he loves me. But in the recent years, his career skyrocketed. He’s an actor, people recognize him, he keeps going to various events and he earns more than we both need. Which is something I never have or never will earn.
My family were immigrants, I spent my childhood being abused and doing drugs, I didn’t even finish school. I only had an opportunity to go to college a couple of years ago. And only because my partner paid for it. My current job is fine and I enjoy it but it’s not a stable income. And while I could make a comfortable living out of this, we wouldn’t have the life or the house we have now if it weren’t for my partner and his income.
So sometimes it just makes me feel pathetic and like a leech or something. And like I don’t deserve him and he can do so much better than me. Especially that he meets so many attractive and successful people all the time. I don’t even compare to them. So I guess I just need help with figuring out how to make myself feel better or how to make it up to my partner.

I’ve been dating my boyfriend for almost a year. At first his parents seemed pretty cool. Then at the beginning of the year they started asking him for money. He ended up giving them around 7k in a 2 month span. He recently noticed some credit cards on his credit report that he never opened. He reported them as fraud but they still are on his credit report. He asked his parents if they had done this, but they said it wasn’t them. Then about 2 weeks ago he’s watching their house while they’re in florida, and he let them borrow his car while they drove down there. He’s driving his parent’s car and in there he finds a credit card statement for one of the cards that was opened. Parents claimed it was a surprise and they were going to pay for it while he was at school. His credit report says this card was opened a year ago. He was really mad but didn’t know what to do so he paid the charges and told parents next time he’d file a police report. Today he found a bill in his name while he went over to their house to pick something up. His credit score has gone down 200 points since this happened. He sent this to them. Mom is playing victim and telling him he’s been obsessed with money lately, and she raised him and she’s gone without stuff so him and his siblings could have what they needed. I don’t think that’s a good excuse. It also bothers me that it’s just him and none of his siblings. I would hate for that to happen to his siblings too, but why is it just him? Boyfriend is super worried about his future, and being able to eventually buy a house. He works 2 jobs and is working really hard to build an actual future.

So for context. We’ve been really stressed out paying the bills. So I decided to find a job and I might start in two weeks (I have to give them the ok). With that income we’ll lose our food stamps but we’ll make more and save more. I’m thinking we can always go to food banks and use whatever they give us as well to cut costs.
I just moved to a different state and the only family I have is my aunt and hers. I’ve known her since I was little but can’t say I truly have gotten to known her until now. And so far no read flags besides an on n off thing with her husband but they’ve never given me any reason to feel uncomfortable with them or them around my son. So I mention this because my job interferes with my husbands on one day. Thursday he goes in at 6. I get out at 6. Someone needs to take care of the the baby until then. Not to mention I’m having another in about 2 months. So someone has to take them both for at least 30-1 hr until I get home. I asked my aunt she said that’s fine. Me and my husband have talked about it and we both agree we don’t really know how we feel about her husband being there. Or watching him. Again, they’ve never given us any reason to feel uncomfortable, they don’t even hit their kids, but I just idk I guess it’s just me being protective as well. Like anything can happen in 30-1hr. To clarify, it won’t be us leaving my son with him. It’ll be her watching them. But he’ll be there. I’ve known him since I was a kid too and can’t say he’s ever done anything to make me feel uncomfortable either.
So back to what happened. I haven’t been sleeping the past few nights because I’ve been so stressed out. Finally I went Fuck it I need to work (I’ve been waiting until the baby comes but I feel like it can’t wait) so I applied and called and got a job offer basically. So I tell him, and honestly I’m excited. I get to socialize again and we make more money. I can sleep better at night. He says it’s his allergies which I’ll admit HAVE been making him look more grumpy and done. But to me, he just kept having an attitude. Like negative. He kept saying “is there no way to change Thursday to Sunday ? Damn why does it have to be Thursday?” I started getting frustrated because if they would’ve offered me a Sunday I would’ve taken it. Obviously it’d be easier. And i kept saying no but this is what we got so we’ll just have to make it work. I even called my aunt and she said Thursday is no problem she can watch my son for a little until I get home. Even the new baby. To be honest now looking back I guess I should’ve clarified this som more. But I did say she’ll pick him up and I’ll go pick him up once I get there. So I’m assuming he understood “pick him up from HER HOUSE” why would I pick him up from my own home.
Basically I have mentioned many times if she were to take care of my son it’d most likely be at her home as she has her own baby to take care of as well. As I’m typing this I’m realizing it could’ve been easily resolved by me asking what is he comfortable with and simply asking my aunt if she’d just come over to our home and watch my son for a little until I get back. My husband was concerned about leaving him around her husband for the simple fact we don’t know him too well.
Honestly I just snapped. He asked me “wait he’s going to be there ?” And I was like yes obviously that’s his home. And he just sighed again like was doing the whole time and it just set me off. I feel like instead of thinking proactively and trying to find a resolution he kept just shaking his head sighing. And I was getting irritated giving him solutions and it felt like he still was just not having it. Not having it, yet not saying much, and the only things he would say was why can’t the day be Sunday or Monday. I already told you.
So I leave pissed off after yelling at him that I’m so tired of repeating myself and dealing with his negative attitude, basically at the top of my lungs. I started being a smart ass when he asked me to clarify and I just started pushing buttons. My husband is very calm. He may not get it the first time but he does try. He resorts to anger the very last and he lets it go fastest. This time he snapped. And just started yelling I mean his voice has never been deeper. And i just realized I have to go. I leave into another room and he follows still yelling and I try to close the door and he pushed it open as I’m pushing it back but I’m pregnant and can’t really do it. I just started pushing him telling him to stop and leave I’m not going to talk to him. I’m sure he’s been fed up with all the other times he just kept saying why am I always the one who has to leave etc. I was getting a little scared because I’ve never seen him this mad and he started pushing my arms back and just yelled whatre you gonna do punch me punch me then. I slapped him and then we both just started crying. He kind of gave up and just said this is terrible. I just kept saying fuck off. And he just kept proceeding into the room saying let’s talk and I just said we’re not talking right now. I don’t want to talk.
He left to work and we haven’t talked. I don’t know what to think. I feel like we both crossed boundaries and I feel like it’s my fault. I know someone can only take so much and he takes a lot. Personally I’m doing my best to work on my anger. At least controlling it. Today we just both snapped.

I love him but I'm realising love isn't enough.
I've grown so much in 2 years and so has he, I'm starting to question if my I see a long term future.
I pay for 90% of thing, I buy him small gifts, take him out etc, hes very lets just chill and eat mcdonlads. Lets just be life partners. We dont need to talk or be romantic we can sit in silence doing our own stuff enjoying company. want a happy romantic future, I'm starting to think thats impossible with him. I feel like we'd be good friends but nothing else. I want someone who's romantic, takes on a more masculine role and who's actually able to hold interesting convos about the current world
.Instead I see our future as he's still obsessed with cars, I'll buy us a house with drive ways. He'll spend stupid money on things and still be stressed with money. I'll always feel as if i have to take on a masculine role. I will still be trying to justify my happiness even though I know i could have had a different future. We'll still have an okay life, but he'll stress himself out and due to his low EQ be unable to not bring it into our relationship. I'll be jealous of my friends with husbands who also financially contribute and show their appreciation in more ways than just words.

Instead I see our future as he's still obsessed with cars, I'll buy us a house with drive ways. He'll spend stupid money on things and still be stressed with money. I'll always feel as if i have to take on a masculine role. I will still be trying to justify my happiness even though I know i could have had a different future. We'll still have an okay life, but he'll stress himself out and due to his low EQ be unable to not bring it into our relationship. I'll be jealous of my friends with husbands who also financially contribute and show their appreciation in more ways than just words. h
He's great, really nice. I know we could stay friends and id be happy, but that wont be healthy.

Had my solar panels turned on a couple of months ago. Within 2 days, breakers start tripping. My daughter would turn on her blow dryer in her bedroom and its breaker would trip. I’d be watching TV in the living room and my wife would turn on the lights and its breaker would trip. Turn on karaoke system in the game room and its breaker would trip. Told solar company and they said they didn’t touch the wiring inside the house (I have two breaker boxes—one inside and one outside). They think there’s a loose neutral somewhere inside the house and it’s a coincidence that it happened after solar was turned on. I told them I didn’t touch wiring inside house since solar was installed and that’s a huge coincidence.
They’re coming by tomorrow to investigate. Any suggestions for what to look for and what to say if they still claim they can’t possibly be responsible?

So me and my girlfriend have been together for 3 years (our anniversary just passed). We were very smart and decided to not do anything sexual before we turned 18 because she was not on birth control and we wanted to finish highschool without kids. We went on the date and everything went well and on the way back to her apartment, we stopped at a light and she placed my hand in her skirt. It was nice but there was a lot of hair. I was cool with it at first, even though it was really hard to navigate (I'm an inexperienced virgin, the hair didn't help). Once we got back to her place, we both knew what was up and we got to stripping. I started trying some foreplay and I ended up going down there. I tried my best not to mind it, but her hair was in my mouth, my nose was being tickled, and it was hard to make eye contact, which she keeps telling me to do (her hair was really long and clouding my vision).
