Every NWA, WCW & WWE world heavyweight championship run from 1904-2023 combined, if every champion held the belt once.
2023.05.28 04:11 ArchDukeNemesis Every NWA, WCW & WWE world heavyweight championship run from 1904-2023 combined, if every champion held the belt once.
To celebrate the "Return" of the "Big Gold Belt" on Raw, I thought I'd make a history combining all title runs from the first world heavyweight championship, through it's time in the NWA, its two off shoots in WCW and its appropriation by WWE. All lineages combined, all vacancies ignored, all reigns recognized and all champions holding the belt once.

2023.05.25 19:04 External-Penguin0423 34 [F4M] NJ/ NYC looking for serious relationship
Hi, I just recently turned 34! I’m a white female, 5’7 around 200 pounds.(so I am a bbw) I live in NJ with my cat. If you are not in the area we will need to discuss relocating.
I work full time and in my spare time I’m pretty open. I like being outside, long walks outside, hiking, kayaking, some sports, traveling, reading, museums, trying new foods (restaurants and homemade) or having a lazy time inside. And more that I’m sure I can’t think of at the moment lol
I am divorced, no children. I actually do not want kids.
I’m here to find a long term partner that can grow into something meaningful, honest. I’ve tried dating apps and it hasn’t been for me. I don’t drink very much, but I do smoke weed.
I am open to all races and religions. But do NOT be married or have a partner. I’m looking for a serious relationship and I do not want my time wasted.
DMs are open

2023.05.25 16:20 shoshana20 I make $100,000 and spent $1,050 while on a birthday trip to Montreal
Note: where applicable I converted from CAD to USD because I am American
Section One: Bio Age: 25 (as of Sunday!)
Occupation: Market Development in the EV space – this and my salary are new since my
last diary Hometown: Hudson County, NJ, but left from my parents’ house in the Hudson Valley because it shortened the drive and I used my dad’s car
Number of PTO days and how you accrue them: 10 days of PTO, plus 2 personal days, plus you can buy up to 5.5 additional days out of your paycheck which I did, plus I get every other Friday off and can move my Fridays around for trips. So for this I moved my Friday and took my two personal days.
Section Two: Assets + Debt Retirement Balance (and how you got there): like 3k in my account at my old job because I left before matching vested, nothing in my new account yet because I set it up a couple weeks ago but the withdrawing hasn’t started yet. If I stay at this job two years I will be eligible for a pension.
Equity if you're a homeowner (and how much you put down & how you accumulated that payment): N/A
Savings account balance: 11,000
Checking account balance: 35,000 I know this is super high but my housing situation is about to drastically change – my roommate who owns all the furniture is moving out and I’ll be staying in the apartment myself, so I want to keep the liquidity for now
Credit card debt (and how you accumulated it): none, I pay off every month
Student loan debt (for what degree): none, I have a bachelor’s and master’s from SUNY schools and the low in-state tuition and upstate COL + merit scholarships + parents covered it
Anything else that's applicable to you: I took this trip with my twin who makes $55,000
Section Three: Income Main Job Monthly Take Home: still normalizing as my deductions start getting processed, but roughly 6,000. I’ve only gotten two paychecks so far.
Side Gig Monthly Take Home: none
Any Other Monthly Income Here: none but I am an authorized user on my parents’ CC and because this was a birthday trip they covered misc expenses
Section Four: Travel Expenses Transportation: nothing except gas costs because I drove my dad’s car. And the emotional toll of the drive, of course.
Accommodations: $1167 for four nights in a nice hotel with a pool and hot tub in downtown Montreal. This is the total and my sister and I split it half and half. It includes an additional charge for garage parking.
Pre-Vacation Spending: nothing specific to this trip
Please include the spending for each category as well as the total.
Food + Drink: $243
Fun / Entertainment: $146 – I included gift shop souvenirs in this category
Home + Health: $0
Clothes + Beauty: $0
Transport: $46
Section Five Use this section to share how you afforded this trip.
I did not save specifically for this trip, I recently got a large raise and had a decent chunk in savings regardless. Parts of the trip were also subsidized by my parents because it was a birthday trip with my twin.
Thursday 5/18: Morning: woke my sister up at 8:30 and we hit the road by 10, we met at my parents’ house on Wednesday night. My dad generously filled up the car before we left so I don’t need to worry about that for at least a couple more hours.
Afternoon: stop in Lake George for a nice, leisurely lunch to stretch our legs and walk around the lake a bit. We pay $27 for okay food at the slowest pizzeria I’ve ever been to in my life as well as $2 for lot parking because I refuse to parallel park, ever. I should add here that this vacation is on “hard mode” because my sister and I do not do indoor dining and unfortunately many places have gotten rid of outdoor dining that was set up earlier in the pandemic, so at points our options were limited. Back in the car after spending an hour in the town. I hadn’t been to Lake George in over a decade so it was a nice if brief visit. Stop and spend $30 on gas because I can’t emotionally handle having less than a half tank. The gas is on my parents’ card and won’t be counted in the total.
Getting through customs is mercifully easy and we check in to the hotel a little after 4. I only cry once, while trying to drive through downtown Montreal.
Evening: we venture out to find some dinner and walk a mile to a restaurant we went to when we were last in Montreal in 2017, only to find that their outdoor dining is not in fact open. It is a tiny bit chilly out so we run into this issue two more times before finding a place whose patio is available. I get a rack of lamb with polenta (delicious!) and some sort of whiskey sour. $52 including 20% tip, I love the exchange rate. We go back to the hotel and spend some time in the pool before heading out to a dispensary. My sister gets two joints and a weed seltzer, but I don’t do weed so have no idea how much she spent.
After dinner my sister and I REALLY wanted to go to a rooftop bar and we find a place with a fun looking cocktail menu on top of a hotel. I get a weird cocktail that mixes tequila, absinthe, and some other stuff that I’m not sure of. It’s really good! My sister manages to spill her frozen drink all over herself, the table, and the floor after only having 3 sips of it, so I buy her another drink because she is obviously so defeated. I do not drop this event for the rest of the trip and change her name in my phone to “banana colada.” $53 for three cocktails and tip, but my sister reimburses me for tip because she insisted I tip a full 20% to try and compensate for the cleanup that will be needed from her drink
Daily total: $134
Friday 5/19: Morning: Our first day! We start with online ordering takeout bagel sandwiches and iced coffees from a nearby local chain, $22 which we split between the two of us. Our first plan for today is the botanical garden so I buy tickets for both of us on my phone for $25 while we walk to the metro stop. We each get a 3 day metro pass for $16/each. The garden is lovely although we are a bit too early in the season for the roses. After a beautiful and only slightly sunburnt couple of hours at the garden, my sister books us tickets for the fine arts museum on her phone and we go to the gift shop. Nothing really impresses me but I get an insectarium themed reusable bag because we don’t have one and my sister got a bunch of stuff that needs carrying $17
Afternoon: Museum of fine arts was maybe a mistake because we are both already so, so tired, but we persevere and make it through the entire Canadian art pavilion. We breeze through the international art pavilion because neither of us particularly care for the pre-modernism sections and also it’s basically the same as it was in 2017. The gift shop here is somewhat more gratifying and I get a polar bear keychain designed by an indigenous artist as well as a magnet for my parents. $11
Evening: We didn’t have lunch because we went right from the botanical garden to the museum so decide to head right to yesterday’s failed restaurant for an early dinner. Their patio is open today and we split an order of calamari, each get our own order of moules frites, and each get a strawberry daiquiri. $70 including tip but my sister pays with the agreement that I’ll get our next big meal
Daily total: $80
Saturday 5/20 Morning: same routine and breakfast as yesterday, $22 again. Today is my personal highlight, the national rail museum! My sister paid for the tickets as a thanks for me driving us to and from Montreal. I drive us to the museum because it’s basically a suburban train yard and there is no good public transit option.
Afternoon: I have an absolute blast, take a million photos, and we spend $3 paid for by my sister to add a vintage trolley ride to our visit. I go absolutely ham at the gift shop and spend $31 on a shot glass, a wind-up train car, an Exporail tote bag, and a silly little keychain that says “trains!” on it. I drive us back to the hotel and we have a late and heavy lunch. We each get a burger and fries, my sister gets a whiskey lemonade, and I get a raspberry mojito. I pay, $65. We go to the temporary exhibit the contemporary art museum has set up, $15 split between us. It’s a quick visit and then we walk over to Barbie Expo, which is free and delightful. Twilight Barbies! Celebrity Barbies! After the Barbie Expo we walk up to Mont Royal Park and just sit there a bit.
Evening: Because our lunch was so late and heavy we pick up premade charcuterie boards at a grocery store, $22. Spend the rest of the evening in the hotel and book tickets to the Biodome in the morning, $25.
Daily total: $138
Sunday 5/21 Morning: Birthday birthday birthday! Open the cards from our parents which they sent us with, they also tell us to put everything on their card for today. I will therefore note how much things cost but not include them in a total, except for my sister’s present and museum tickets. Breakfast from a different place, bagel sandwiches and mochas $22. We then head to the metro for the Biodome. It’s not really my thing but my sister is utterly enchanted, particularly by the penguins. At the gift shop I cover her stuff, which is a couple of penguin things, as a birthday present $30
Afternoon: My sister really wanted to go to the geology museum but didn’t actually check their hours, and they’re closed on weekends. The next best options is the archeology museum which is conveniently also at the old port, so we head there on the metro and I book the museum tickets on our way, $25. The layout of the museum is a little confusing but they have a really cool exhibit on pirates! We speed through the ancient Egypt exhibit because it’s really crowded and impossible to get close to most of the displays. Gift shop is a bust so we head out for a late lunch. My sister presciently chooses a restaurant with an awning which pays off when the sky opens for a 15 minute torrential downpour that was not in the forecast. Lunch is a charcuterie board, ricotta on crostini, and a peach bellini for each of us. I remember it cost a premium because it was by the waterfront but I did not record the cost.
Sister really wanted to go to a particular bagel store which is really out of our way and I am less than gracious about it, particularly when the store is so popular that we need to wait outside just to go in and order. The store also does not accept international debit or credit cards so I run to an ATM that is mercifully on the corner and take out 20CAD, 9CAD/$7ish goes to her half dozen bagels. We take a bus that gets us within a mile of our hotel and walk the rest because the weekend buses apparently only run once an hour?
Evening: After decompressing in the hotel room for a bit we head back to the old port and just explore the waterfront for a while. There’s a refreshing breeze and the river is beautiful. We wander until we get hungry and wind up getting a birthday dinner at the first place with outdoor dining that has a decent looking menu. It’s a tapas (style?) meal of duck breast cooked with figs, calamari, and a spicy sausage with some sort of cauliflower thing. Plus a side salad because we’ve been neglecting our vegetables on this trip. I get a margarita but my sister who has stomach problems sticks to the tap water. $89 after tip.
Instead of getting dessert at the restaurant we walk to a bakery to get a “birthday cake,” aka she gets a chocolatine and I get a chocolate caramel…cronut? That’s not what they call it but that’s what it feels like. She also gets a bottle of water because she wants to stop and smoke the last of her joint on the walk back to the hotel. $12 paid by sister
Daily total: $62
Monday 5/22: Morning: I get up before my sister because I am experiencing severe driving anxiety and I go out and get us the same breakfast as yesterday, $22. We manage to get checked out and leave the hotel a little after 10 and the drive is smooth until the US-Canada border. I remembered that US customs is slower than Canadian but they only have three lanes open and it takes two hours to go basically 1000 meters. People keep trying to cut the lines and it’s making an even bigger snarl. We got to the border a little past 11 and do not make it to the actual customs until 1:30.
Afternoon:
tiktok voice it got worse but I think it’s about to get worser. After finally getting to customs and answering the questions they tell me to pull my car over for a search, I’m then told to leave everything in my car and go in the building. We go in and wait until two agents pull us into one of the questioning rooms. They keep asking us where we went and what we bought and my sister and I get increasingly confused until the guy finally informs us that we set off the weed-sniffing K-9 and we need to admit whether we have weed before they find it. But we have no weed! Our dirty laundry probably reeks because I was sitting downwind of my sister every time she smoked but there is no actual weed in the car because we’re not idiots who would take a federally illegal drug through a federal border. Tip: I am so fucking mad. The customs agent has the nerve to wish us a happy birthday after they go through all our stuff and find nothing.
Burned a crazy amount of gas just waiting on the line so I stop at the first station on the US side of the border, $30 while my sister goes in and gets us gas station hot dogs and a bottle of Diet Coke. The next 4 hours unfold uneventfully and we make it to our parents’ house at around 6.
Daily total: $52

2023.05.25 02:34 Comfortable-Mine3904 My results using AI for menu pictures, and why I'm never using a DoorDash supplied photographer again!
Background: 5 locations: 2 in the LA area, 2 in Texas, 1 in NJ. The menus vary location to location but include Chinese, Vietnamese, Indian, and Health Bowls. I have a main brand at each, and then the Health Bowls are virtual brands for delivery only based on the ingredients we have on hand at each store.
After working with a number of photographers over the years, I was never fully happy with the results. The photographers sent by DoorDash seem to be especially bad, and there's nothing worse than a couple hundred dollars of food cost and babysitting someone for an afternoon only to have garbage come out when you get the pictures back, which happened like 5 times to me.
Door Dash Photographer reference (Chinese restaurant in LA):
https://imgur.com/a/bVUw1Uc After much frustration I thought I would give AI a go (and help justify my gaming PC to my wife).
Results: Sample AI Results:
https://imgur.com/a/pWClrDp Overall I am quite pleased with the results, however I will caveat that it is still somewhat high effort. I generated thousands of pictures to get a good set that I wanted, and it took some tweaking to get it dialed in. Definitely got better over time.
Picking out the good pictures that are generated out of the big batch is a bit tedious, but it's better to have too many than not enough. I'm also trying to make them feel a little less "studio", but I'd rather be too far on the "studio look" than appear low quality.
Methodology: I first tried using online tools like Midjourney and Dalle, but the pictures always came out a little too stylized or cartoony. Switched over to doing them myself with Stable Diffusion, but if you go this path know that you do need a high end computer.
Stable Diffusion with the models used being Realistic Vision 2 and Stability AI 2.1 768 version.
Use 50+ steps for better results, they tell you 20 is enough, but it's not.
Generic Prompt: Dish name, on a wooden table with shadow, ingredients list
Negative Prompt: silverware, chopsticks, spoons, knife (it's very bad at this stuff)
Future: No more food photographers for me!
I think this also helps plug the gap on content for social media. Not completely, but it does offer a much easier way to source things to post.
Next steps are getting people in the pictures and short video clips.

No experience necessary for the laborer custodial or maintenance mechanic positions. It helps on the interview but you can surely think of maintenance related experience to relay for an interview. Based on fixing things around your house, the car etc.
Always mention working safely.
Pro tip: You can apply for any job that has an exam opening and the test is administered local to yourself. Make sure you're serious and score decently; you can turn down the job offer. Keep a physical copy of your exam score, I believe they are good for two years.
The reason is: These job postings can be posted externally at capacity for testing, meaning they will not allow you to take the exam if they have enough qualified applicants. However, if you have a test score on the books,
you are a qualified applicant.
Explanation of MVO/TTO to save time:
MVO= CDL B Can only drive box trucks on public roads, can drive anything for moves on postal property.
TTO= CDL A Can drive anything.
USPS provides the training. (Maintenance jobs at least. TTO and management...GOOD LUCK)
You don't have to be crazy to work here. We'll train you. Everything but proper email usage. submitted by

2023.05.24 02:21 spkrinsb Lust in Paradise - Recap of 5/22's Mess
| After I posted my rant last week on this mess TLC is airing each Monday, several people told me they wanted to see a weekly edition. If you were one of those people, I'm here making your dreams come true once again. If you weren't, well....I'm sorry for your loss. Someone at TLC must have a sense of humor to compile this many completely batshit idiots into one episode. Bedside Manner (April) & Lust in Translation (Valentine) - I wasn't sure I was going to be inspired to write one of these things again, but, thanks to Bedside Manner's words of wisdom in the first 5 minutes of the show, and her continued stupidity throughout it, I was. The show opens with Bedside Manner talking about how much she's missed Lust in Translation. Oh wait...scratch that; she's missed his abs. To quote her: "It's been 5 months since we've seen each other and I've been craving his body". Of course, it would be hard to actually miss him (and not just his abs) since they can't fucking communicate, which makes it a tad difficult to get to know someone. Yes, for those who haven't been paying attention, she only speaks English, and he only speaks Spanish. And when I say "only", I mean only. I think the only word they mutually know is "si". This, however, was totally lost on her as she's speaking into the translator app on her phone on the way to his family's house, and saying, and I quote (I had to transcribe this stupidity word-for-word), "your mother only speaks Spanish so I may need help communicating with her." His response? "Si". Yes, you read that right. Her English speaking, non-Spanish comprehending ass is letting her Spanish speaking, non-English comprehending boyfriend know via a translator app that she's going to need his help communicating with his Spanish speaking, non-English comprehending mother. It reminds me of a quote from a wise woman (Judge Judy) I once heard, and it's a question I'd like to pose to Beside Manner: "What is the nature of your disability, other than the obvious mental impairment?" Once they reached his family's house and the neighborhood around it, she was shocked at what she saw. As you may remember, she was expecting "Miami" in the Dominican Republic. Instead she got...well...the Dominican Republic. After making some insulting comments about the neighborhood and the outside of the house, it was time to insult the people inside the house! Yay! Yes, we soon learn that this bitch has no filter. Lust in Translation's family is under the impressions that this "relationship" is much farther along than it actually is --- you know, past the point of her just lusting after his abs and various other body parts. She tells his family that they'll be living in the US together once they get married. He tells his family that he has no idea what her stupid ass is talking about, as he wants to stay there. She tells him that it would be crazy to leave all her patients (many of whom won't miss her) and move there and live an "impoverished lifestyle". She then starts lecturing him in front of his family about how he needs to learn English if he wants to get anywhere in life. In short, unlike him, she has accomplished so much in her life so far that she can't be bothered to learn Spanish. The hypocrisy and elitism is rich with this bitch. Somewhere along in the conversation his family says they'll be cooking a meal for them in honor of her annoying presence. When she learns sausage will be part of the meal, she loses it since she's a vegan. (We're not quite sure if he knew she was a vegan before this, since, you know, their relationship has the depth of a puddle.) To further illustrate how much she hates processed meat, she starts maniacally laughing (think the Joker) and mimics vomiting gestures repeatedly in front of everyone. We never see this meal take place unfortunately. One can only hope next week she informs his family that their cooking skills suck. I guess we should be grateful that she didn't whip a can of Lysol out of her purse and spray them all with it. To recap, Bedside Manner has let Lust in Translation and his family know: their neighborhood sucks, their house looks like crap, their cooking makes her vomit, she's not into their "impoverished" lifestyle, and he, while sexy, has accomplished nothing in his life so far so he better start learning English if he wants to continue to be graced by her bitchy presence. How's that for a first impression? Hence, the name I adorned her with this week. It's no wonder why her patients love her so much; she's the stereotypical doctor with a god complex, talking down to everyone she meets. The CEO (Valentine) & President (Carlos) of the Hair Club for Men: The scene opens with them having an in-depth conversation where they try to get to know each other on a deeper level. Kidding! That hasn't happened yet, so why start now? No, instead it opens with them fighting again. Thankfully we didn't have to hear that they're "both tops" this time. Instead the argument is around this "Michelle" person who existed before the first season was ever taped, but never mentioned back then because she needed to be saved for the second season to give these two idiots something new to fight about. Carlos says she's just a friend; Valentine is jealous because he's a narcissistic jackass. (When Valentine said he was into polyamory in their relationship, that apparently only applied to him.) To quote Carlos, "We're supposed to get married next week, but right now I don't even like him." Now he knows how the viewers feel, and that was even back when he had fake hair connected to his eyebrows. Valentine decides the marriage is off for the 75th time, and he packs his bag to go to a hotel. Carlos is sitting in the other room weeping, while Valentine, without a tear in his eye, dismissively says to the camera "He's only 29. This is just a ripple in his life." Can you feel the love tonight? No narcissistic tendencies there. When a producer questions his lack of emotion about their relationship ending, Valentine replies, "Have you been watching this relationship? We had absolutely nothing in common. Plus, I don't know if you know this, but he's a top and so am I. I need to find myself a long-haired bottom. Later bitchez!" Ok, so he didn't actually say that; instead he went into some rambling incoherent nonsense about how he never gets upset in his life about stuff; he just moves on. Sounds pretty healthy and emotionally intelligent. I'd marry that, but only if I can be in one of his horrible music videos like Carlos. Wait...I'm a top too. Sonofabitch. The Bitch (Lidia) and The Ogre (Scott): These two idiots are wandering down the street and see a vendor selling random pointless objects that light up in the dark. They think it would be fun to buy plastic light up swords and have a sword fight in the middle of the street. Lidia, who already can't stand him, gets a little carried away and decides she's going to beat him to death with this plastic sword, smacking him across his bald head. She soon realizes that if she wants whatever money he has, it's best to keep him alive at this point. Next they go to dinner where she again harasses him and the viewing audience with questions about why he likes dating younger women so much. Basically it's the same exact conversation we've heard before, which caused me to fast-forward through this crap. To her credit, she tries asking him about his hobbies to try to learn something about him, but he pivots the conversation back to her. In the end, they still know virtually nothing about each other, in keeping with the theme of this idiotic show. Eventually the Ogre gets frustrated with the Bitch. We soon learn that his mechanism for dealing with stress is to embrace his inner Jane Fonda. He randomly decides to take a cushion off the chair at a restaurant (which I'm sure they appreciated), lays it on the street, and starts doing stretching exercises and calisthenics on the damn street. Lidia starts recording this disaster with her phone, being grateful that she now has something else to harass him about other than dating younger women. She's also grateful that she's not the only openly batshit one in the "relationship" anymore. Beauty (Ana) & The Least (Matt): There's so much fascinating footage of these two that they're still at the airport when we see them again, as he's just arrived to Brazil in time for their Carnivale celebration. When they get back to the hotel room, he's ready to nap, while she's ready to party. He continuously mentions the 9 year age difference between them over and over again, because their entire storyline, outside of his pointless "secret", is built around him being...well...."the least". Ana states that they planned a "lot of sexy costumes" for Carnivale, but he apparently didn't get that memo. They have a Peter Pan & Prostitute Tinkerbell outfit planned for some occasion, but for today's outing he's chosen to wear a woman's top with florescent green fringe on it, along with shorts and an elderly medicated sock over one leg because his "foot's swollen". He tells us his doctor doesn't know why it's swollen (is he seeing Bedside Manner by any chance?), but told him to wear this ridiculous looking sock for the hell of it, especially outside during Carnivale while he's on national TV. (I'm guessing his foot might be trying to disconnect itself from its idiotic host and fall off, but I'm not a doctor.) The end result is an outfit that that looks just as ridiculous as his dimwitted personality. He's convinced some better looking stranger is going to flirt with her, so apparently his game plan is to look like a mentally unbalanced idiot to scare away all her potential suitors. (Based on next week's previews, where he's wearing a wolf head outfit in the the Brazilian heat, it apparently doesn't work out too well.) Once out on the street, they meet up with her friend, while he whines that since they're walking 3 feet ahead of his medicated-sock wearing, ridiculous looking ass, they're "leaving him behind". If only she was smart enough as to actually do that, her life would infinitely improve. Instead, he gets too drunk in an attempt to "prove" that he's just as cool as the youngsters and that age doesn't matter, and ends up dragging her home prematurely to nap. Cause, you know....he's old. https://preview.redd.it/6p0cnkx9ao1b1.jpg?width=3456&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ceca3dcaf6b465ae701d3bd41825160bfb905455 submitted by spkrinsb to 90dayfianceuncensored [link] [comments] |

Hey guys!
Unfortunately, I moved back to NJ for personal reasons. I miss south Florida more than I can explain with words.
One of the things I miss the most is Flanigan's!
Does anyone know any restaurants in NJ, NY, or PA that are even close to Flanigan's?
Either way, thanks guys!

There seemed to be some other interest as well, so I'm posting again. The event is called Secret Supper Club, and the concept is simple: A flat $40 gets you a meal (including tax and gratuity) plus your first beverage, but nobody knows what you’ll be having until it shows up! A Google Forms survey lets you inform us of food sensitivities or preferences, as well as some other basic information. All the food comes from handpicked local restaurants, with a focus on highlighting places that you might have otherwise passed over otherwise. In the past we’ve served Cajun, Chinese, Dominican, Ethiopian, Greek, Indian, Italian, Jamaican, Japanese, Malaysian, Mexican, Somali, Thai, and Turkish cuisines (in addition to the occasional American classic thrown in). Our next event is Thursday, June 8th (6/8), from 5:30-8:30pm at Triphammer Bierwerks in Fairport. If this sounds interesting to you, feel free to comment/DM any questions you have or sign up at the link below. Hope to see some of you there! https://forms.gle/G271aJ1HewPPEiDk8 submitted by Moblinman to Rochester [link] [comments] |
2023.05.23 04:51 Has134 2020 Accord LX buyout for private deal
I posted my car to sell on KBB, some private dealer reached me from NJ, linden called BM Motor Cars, and offered to pay Kbb value of my car after I showed up for them to take a look at my car.
The part that’s fishy is, to buy a lease for Honda, only Honda can buy your car if you’re leasing through hondafinancial which I am. The reason they said they can buy my lease is because they have some sort “we have a Honda store in our chain of stairs” .
Anyone have insights or things to watch out for(like fake check or something)
I want to sell my lease(on my last paid month of lease) and use the profit to put towards another car.

2023.05.22 22:38 fluxistrad What would the NJ Version of the RHONY Reboot Look Like?
RHONY's exciting reboot casting has me excited for a lot of reasons, mostly because my other two core teams are Atlanta and NJ, and those storylines all feel so tired and forced.
It got me thinking that it might be fun to think about what a NJ version of RHONY's cast refresh would look like. Andy has emphasized the new NY casting approach as being "all about the city" which is hard for NJ to pull off, but there's certainly lots to explore about NJ outside of
Everyone Who Knows Me Knows I'm Italian and Family is the Most Important Thing.
For me, it seems like RHONY tried to think about the following when re-casting:
- Younger, more diverse (more diverse from previous casts, but also very diverse within its own universe)
- Entrepreneurial, but in a more hard-earned way (think J. Crew vs toasters)
- "Category" focused, in NY's case it appears to be fashion, PR, marketing vibes, where women from different careers would cross paths relatively frequently and have lots of shared circles (and hence lots of avenues to compete and / or connect)
- Overall, not across the board: a sense of humor that skews younger, more "online" and perhaps I Am Serious But Don't Take Myself Too Seriously.
- Seemingly a solid and varying collection of levels of self-awareness.
- Less focus on wealth and how much things cost ($25k sunglasses) and more on 'lifestyle presentation' and relevance.
Please add more bullets, but I'm mostly collecting those thoughts so I can think about what a similar formula might look like for NJ. I don't care if Teresa or Melissa etc. get spinoffs or vacation series', I would just like to see a fresh start to a once-beloved franchise in NJ. :)
SO. Here's my initial thoughts. I'm thinking about 'categories' and think that politics, PR, activism, and influence could be an interesting angle for NJ, but so could something less expected, like vacations and travel, restaurants, food and wine, real estate.
Some ideas (note that I'm not suggesting this mix is a cast, more like some vibes to jam on):
- Lexi Pellegrini - 22, George Washington University, owns upscale shop and apparently does some PR for Hermès
- Aamira Garba - 30-something, Temple University, founder and CEO at LoveLee Wine, winemaker of color, mother
- Anita Dickens - Queer founder and designer for ANE CLOTHIER, a gender-neutral fashion house based in Newark, also a community activist
- Leia Gaccione - 38, Top Chef alum, restraunteur, etc. lots of info on her out there, experienced Bravo lady
- Tammy Leopaldi - "Almost 40", Fashion blogger and mom from Middletown, known for mixing highs and lows
- Stephanie Lagos - Carnegie Mellon, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor and Chief of Staff to the First Lady of New Jersey. Former Peace Corps. https://twitter.com/steph_lagos?lang=en
- Halsey) - From NJ originally. What if she lived full-time in NJ?
- SZA - From NJ originally. What if she lived full-time in NJ?
Here's something I discovered while on this admittedly strange mission: young people, especially women, are leaving NJ for other states to start their businesses, and whether I'm looking for on-the-rise chefs, CEOs, fashionistas, or social influencers, it was hard to find women that had enough of a foundation to match the formula I gave myself. Looking for someone on an edgier level but with something real she's really driving was tough. Lots of amazing women FROM NJ, but harder to find someone under the radar but badass.
So what if we get a little more 'mainstream' on the search?
- Laurene Powell Jobs - 59, Stanford University, Steve Jobs' ex-wife, the richest woman in NJ (I searched for his daughter too but she's in NYC)
- Jamie Kern Lima - Co-founder of IT Cosmetics and the first female CEO of a L'Oreal company. In 2016, Kern Lima sold IT Cosmetics to L'Oréal for $1.2 billion, on the Forbes' list of "America's Richest Self-Made Women" since 2017.
I'm sure there's lots of other fun and interesting options! What do you think?
