Not him. I don’t miss him. He sucked. I miss my stuff. I moved from a 2300 squ ft home to a 10x10 room and I couldn’t bring hardly anything with me. All the cookware and dishes, gone. My costume closet, gone. My Halloween decorations, gone. Garage full of tools and lawn care equipment, gone. All the furniture I had picked out. My tub of lasers for parties, gone. I know it’s just stuff, but it’s stuff I’ll never get back. I don’t even know what he did with all of it bc after I took my name off the deed he moved across the country to be with the other woman. A woman who already had a house full of stuff.

2023.05.28 17:09 Altilongitude Who else likes The Kidnapped Turnabout (or at least doesn't mind it)?

I'm thinking this might be the case I'm most divergent from the community on. I see it often at the bottom of people's tier lists, but for me, it's an A-tier case. I just really liked the Badger theme and tracking the different costumes around the amusement park reminds me of Goosebumps Choose Your Own Adventure books I read as a child. So, what do you think about this episode?

2023.05.28 16:45 JadziaDayne Help me remember this Halloween episode

I'm looking for an episode of an older sitcom, late 80s or early 90s, think Married with Children or Full House. Spooky stuff happens in a Halloween episode, and at the end both leads (two dads?) look at the camera and say "Remember, there's no such thing as ghosts!", and then the fridge opens and says "OH YEAH" in a spooky booming voice and throws shaving cream or a pie or something at them, and that's the end of the episode.
Does that sound familiar to anybody? I've looked high and low but can't find what show this was. Thank you!

Argos design analysis
The green is unique as no other peacock user we’ve seen has used this colour. Green is a symbol of disgust and apathy which fits Felix very well. Green is also a symbol of envy which I believe carries the implication Felix envies Adrien or more accurately the friendship and popularity he has. This would explain his actions in his debut episode although it doesn’t justify them. The blue is actually closer to indigo, indigo is a symbol of judgement and bigotry again an accurate representation of his character. It also symbolises compassion which I think is irony as Felix has little emotional awareness
The hood is probably a reference to Felix’s lonely nature being isolated and alone in comparison to almost every other character. The hood coming from the lapel is something I think the design suffers from as it makes the shape of the hood very odd and makes both the design and silhouette abnormal
Where I think the design suffers most is Felix’s skin, eyes and hair. The hair is a darker shade of green from the rest of the costume likely to stop it from blending in with the back of the hood, I do however think magenta or blue would’ve been a better choice for the hair as it compliments the outfit more. The skin is a very light blue while the eyes are incredibly dark making the costume contrast in a negative way, Mayura’s skin and eyes blend together much better as they are closer in shade; I think having Argos share the same skin and eye colour to Mayura would benefit his design
What I like about this design is the ingenuity in the magenta dots. This is a clear reference to Argus, the hundred eyed giant of Greek myth, the dots are meant to represent his eyes. I think this is clever although it is slightly frustrating to me how his name isn’t just Argus and they instead just went with Argos which means slow and is also the name of a shop. Also he only has 46 eyes including his actual eyes, less than half the amount he should have
Overall this costume has much to be desired but could’ve been executed worse. The hood and face are the worst areas of the costume but I’d give it a 5/10

Hello,
I'd like some fair exchange for those, i'm willing to put more than one game against a game i really want, depends on the offer. I could accept Paypal, but that's not my goal (just getting games i'd like to play). I might want to keep something in those lists, i also have some other Humble and Fanatical games i'm not sure i'll play, so they might appear one day (could be money for an exchange if you have something from my wishlist, don't hesitate to ask). I'm from Europe, that might matter for Keys or gift links. I'm not making anything up, I’m just saying what the show showed us. There’s a psychological explanation about what Mr.Robot did.
First of all, when Mastermind suffered a dissociative amnesia of his identity, own memories (probably due of what he did to Elliot, trapping him In F-World). Mr.Robot understood what had happened, In support of this :
[S04Ep09] the discussion between the persecutor and Mr.Robot confirms this :
She : << " When will he (Mastermind) be ready? You've let this go on far too long. " >> He : << " It's a little more complicated than that. I didn't know everything that was happening. " >> She : << " That's a lie. You've been part of these shenanigans from the beginning. You encourage it. " >> He : << " Ok ok, just stop. Yes, I'll admit it. I did. I never thought he'd take things this far. There's nothing I can do now. " >> She : << " Just talk to him. " >> He : << " We have to finish his mission. Once the hack is done, maybe then I can get through to him. " >
Mr.Robot decided not to tell him the truth at the beginning, because he was afraid of how he might react and didn't want to compromise the plan (STAGE 1-2). For this reason, since Mastermind didn't remember the plan and Fsociety (it was formed by them In late Nov / early Dec, 2014), In order to prevent him from feeling crazy, Mr.Robot was forced to hide the truth from him but at the same time find a way to finish the plan as soon as possible. Also I remind you, Esmail's personalities are different than what happens in reality, their job is to take care of Elliot's future (and only that). That’s why the personality table exists (as we saw in S04Ep09). They gather at that table and talk, make decisions for Elliot's sake. So, if Mastermind did what he did to Elliot, surely Mr.Robot agreed with him.

[S01Ep02] - WHY DID MR.ROBOT PUSH MASTERMIND ?

Follow me, step by step :
As I said, M.Robot knew everything from the beginning. He didn't push Mastermind to wake up Elliot. First of all (In Season 01), Mastermind didn't consciously know his personality skills (observer, switch etc.), therefore he could easily control him. Second of all, what's the point? If Mr.Robot's plan was to wake up Elliot, why did he want to finish the plan against Mastermind's will throughout the series? It doesn't make any sense. In fact, the best way to free Elliot from F-World was only trying to help Mastermind remember who he really was, not to hurt him.
➖ EXPLANATION ➖
Pushing Mastermind wasn’t part of Mr.Robot’s plan, but he was forced to do it.
BEFORE MR.ROBOT PUSHED MASTERMIND, DO YOU REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED ?
Initially, Mr.Robot believed that the plan to change the world would be enough to convince Mastermind to work for the Fsociety. But that didn't happen. So, Mr.Robot changed his strategy, In fact, he tried to find his bug, a real reason why he should join the group. That's why, he told him this :
Mr.Robot << "... This isn't even about my revolution. This is more than that for you. This is about how those bastards slowly killed your father and how you wished he'd done something about it. But he didn't because he was a zero, just like you're being right now. " >> Mastermind << "[email protected] you". >>
As you can see, Mr.Robot tried to convince him to stay (avenge his father against E-Corp), but there's a problem. Remember, Mastermind was disappointed at his father for what he did in the past, In fact, instead of fighting leukemia, he took it out on the only person who loved him (push him out the window). He thought he didn’t deserve that reaction from him, because he was 8 years old and he only did that for his father’s sake. That's why :
Mr.Robot << "Did you ever think he was right? Hurting you that day? For what you did to him? " >> Mastermind << "I didn't do anything to him. I was trying to help him. " >> Mr.Robot << "For betraying his trust."Mastermind << "I was eight years ol...">> (At this moment, Mr.Robot pushed him). Mr.Robot << "You didn't commit to the sacred pact you had formed. " >>
Did you understand? Mr.Robot found a way to justify what his father had done In the past. That's why he pushed Mastermind (like Edward did In the past), then he apologized to him, In fact :
Mastermind : << "What do you want?">> (Obviously he was pissed at him) Mr.Robot : << "I'm sorry for what I did. I never wanted to hurt you. People who get violent get that way because they can't communicate." >> Then he connected what he did with what happened in the past between them and said : << "Your dad... I bet he felt shitty for doing what he did. I'm sure he wanted to apologize, too. Sometimes pushing your kid away is just easier. Don't stay mad at him too long, kiddo." >> BINGO.

Mr.Robot tried to make him understand that, his father was wrong and surely he wanted to apologize for what he did to him (just like Mr.Robot did). So, he shouldn’t have been so mad at him, because he was his only friend and he loved him. In this way, Mr.Robot created a bug in Mastermind's system, which didn't exist before.
WHAT DID MR.ROBOT DO THEN ? Nothing, he knew that it would work, but he had to wait (the news). - [S01Ep03] - In fact, someone (obv, Mr.Robot) texted him :
"... the release of these latest emails. Information stemming from the latest dump reveals that Terry Colby was one of three high-level executives involved in the cover-up of the widely publicized Washington Township toxic waste scandal. In the ensuing 24 months after the alleged toxic waste leak in 1993, 26 employees (Emily, Edward etc.) died from leukemia. Now, these emails indicate that Colby was in fact aware of the dangerous levels of toxicity "
Then Mastermind said << "I didn't think it existed, but there it was, is. Mr.Robot finally found my bug." >> Finally this time, Mr.Robot did it, In fact at the end of the episode, we see Mastermind join the group of his own free will (destroy E-Corp to avenge his father)

Initially, Mastermind didn't have a bug (he always knew E-Corp was involved in his father’s death, but he never tried to avenge him, because he was angry at him). Then, Mr.Robot created a bug and used it against him. In fact, initially he tried to justify what his father had done in the past (so he didn’t feel too angry) and then, he shifted his anger towards E-Corp (the release of the latest emails). If Mr.Robot hadn’t found a good reason to convince him to stay, Mastermind could have left the group again in the future. That's why, he didn't accept Mastermind's rethinking at the end of Ep02, because he knew it could happen again.
PAY ATTENTION : Mastermind (before he forgot his memories and that he was a personality) changed something about what happened to Elliot In the "window event", In fact he created a false memory in Elliot’s consciousness, which was - Elliot didn’t jump but he was pushed - . Then (when he forgot), since all personalities have Elliot's memories (because they were born from Elliot’s Unconscious), he became a victim of his own false memory. I explained it here.

Here are some different ideas I have for stories about girls being enslaved by Jabba.
1: Shaak Ti; in an alternate universe, Grievous, after defeating her on Coruscant, sells her to Jabba the Hutt, who tries to break and humiliate the once proud and powerful Togrutan Jedi Master into becoming his sex slave. 2: Azula (from Avatar the Last Airbender): Four years after her imprisonment, Azula, now eighteen years old and officially an adult, escapes from prison, only to be captured by Jabba's minions and made his slave. From there, Azula is caught between a seemingly never ending battle between her growing sexuality, her unbearable humiliation, and her cunning plan to outwit Jabba. My idea for Azula's slave outfit is a skimpy red bikini like the second costume she wears in the episode 'The Beach', but slightly more revealing; it shows off more of her legs e.g.
3: Rayla (from the Dragon Prince): Set in an AU where season 4 of The Dragon Prince takes place not two but three years after season 3, making Rayla eighteen in this story, Rayla gets enslaved and put into a skimpy outfit by Jabba, which leads to much awkwardness when her boyfriend, Callum comes to save her. My idea for the slave out Jabba forces Rayla to wear is basically Leia's metal bikini, but colored teal, navy, and black like Rayla's Moonshadow assassin outfit as an additional mockery.
4: Rainbow Dash (from Equestria Girls): Set in a more medival universe, Rainbow Dash is enslaved by Jabba and forced into a skimpy red outfit, which leads to much awkwardness when her girlfriend, Twilight Sparkle, comes to save her.
