2023.06.04 21:30 Nervous-Addendum-455 Shadow House When do you think season 3 is coming out, how many episodes will it have and what arcs will it adapt?

My hope is that they will announce season 3 by the fall with broadcast in the spring of 2024 at the latest, and as for the number of episodes, yes, they will only adapt the Inspection Arc and the Flashback Arc, then I say it will have 11 - 12 episodes, but if they also adapt Hunt on The Powerless Arc would have about 25-26 episodes and I don't really think so because it would end too soon after the manga and I would say that this will be a future season 4 more likely with about 12-13 epsisodes remaining only after the Soot Ivy arc Incident Arc that is ongoing. What do you think will adapt season 3 and when will it appear?

2023.06.04 21:25 AutoModerator Here's How To Watch The Little Mermaid Free Online: Is Little Mermaid (2023) Streaming?

Motion Pictures! Here are options for downloading or watching The Little Mermaid streaming the full movie online for free on 123 movies & Reddit, including where to watch Disney's latest live-action adaptation movies at home. Is The Little Mermaid 2023 available to stream? Is watching The Little Mermaid on Peacock, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Netflix or Amazon Prime? Yes, we have found an authentic streaming option/service.
Watch Now: The Little Mermaid (2023) Movie Online Free
It's time to dive under the sea once again. Over the last few years, Disney has recreated their top animated musical films into live-action movies. The Little Mermaid is no different, and viewers can't wait to swim into theaters to catch a glimpse of how the movie will stand up against the original version.
The latest of Disney's hugely successful line of live-action remakes, Ariel (Halle Bailey) is set to return to theaters for the first time in almost thirty-five years with The Little Mermaid (2023). The Walt Disney Company once again invites audiences to travel under the sea to see Princess Ariel's story unfold like never before. Featuring direction from veteran musical filmmaker Rob Marshall and other roles inhabited by major Hollywood stars like Melissa McCarthy as Ursula the Sea Witch and Javier Bardem as King Triton, the film is bound to be a bona fide hit at the box office.
Though the upcoming and highly anticipated film will have stiff competition against two stand-up comedians on the weekend it releases, The Little Mermaid is destined to show that life is better down where it's wetter under the sea this Summer movie season. The 2023 live-action movie will only be available in theaters starting May 26. That means if you want to watch it ASAP.
However, it will be available to stream on the Disney+ platform soon. Disney+ typically follows a 90-day period before its theatrical releases come to the streaming platform. That means we may see the live-action version of "The Little Mermaid" come to Disney+ as early as August 2023.
Before we ask if you're interested in seeing this, we know you are. But like us, you're probably wondering how to watch and stream The Little Mermaid online. Luckily, we have some clues and it's likely to land on a major streaming site very soon. So climb aboard, because here's where to watch and stream The Little Mermaid online.
Ariel's quest to go from a mermaid into a human begins anew when The Little Mermaid premieres this Memorial Day Weekend on Friday, May 26th, 2023. The film will be going up against not one, but two stand-up comedians and their films that weekend, with Sebastian Maniscalco's About My Father and Bert Kreischer's The Machine premiering on the same day. That said, The Little Mermaid will almost certainly be the choice for younger audiences and families.
While some Disney films are heading straight to Disney+, The Little Mermaid will first be shown exclusively in theaters.
As of now, the only way to watch The Little Mermaid is to head out to a movie theater when it premieres on May 26, 2023. You can find a local showing on Fandango.
Watch Now: The Little Mermaid (2023) Movie Online Free
Otherwise, you’ll just have to wait for it to become available to rent or purchase on digital platforms like Amazon, Vudu, YouTube or Apple, or become available to stream on Disney+.
At the moment, you can watch The Little Mermaid at your local theater. But like most movies these days, it should hit a streaming website in the near future.
Like its predecessor, The Little Mermaid is a flick produced by multimedia conglomerate Disney. What's more, the production studio owns a number of other famous franchises, like the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Star Wars. Titles made under these umbrellas have both hit Disney+ sometime after arriving at the box office. Fans may also know the original Little Mermaid is currently available to stream on the site as well. So, if the 2023 version follows the same pattern, folks will likely get to see The Little Mermaid on Disney+ later this year too.
As for an exact release date for The Little Mermaid, that's more complicated. Most movies produced by Disney often go to its streamer site within three months after debuting in theaters, like the most recent Marvel film Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. If this is the case for The Little Mermaid, it will probably drop in late August 2023 or sometime near Labor Day in early September.
When the time comes for The Little Mermaid to splash onto Disney+ though, make sure you're all prepared to watch it. If you don't have access yet, you can opt into a 30-day free trial before choosing a plan that start at $7.99 per month or $79.99 per year. After your account is all set, click on the title page on Disney+'s official website or the Disney+ app.
As you wait for The Little Mermaid to hit the streamer, why don't you watch the animated version and its sequel The Little Mermaid 2: Return to the Sea? Or if you want to immerse yourself in another live-action version, click on the 2019 ABC TV special The Little Mermaid Live!. Enjoy!
Unlike several of Disney's other live-action remakes such as Pinocchio and Peter Pan & Wendy, The Little Mermaid will be exclusively in movie theaters first with tickets available for pre-sale now.
After The Little Mermaid has completed its exclusive theatrical run, the film will be released on the Disney+ streaming service. Based on Disney's past release models, the film won't be made available to stream before 45 to 90 days after its theatrical release.
Now that movie theaters seem to be back, The Little Mermaid live-action film will be an in-theater release first before being released to at-home video. That means that your only chance to watch it right now is by going to your local theater.
However, don't lose all hope. Since it's a Disney movie, it will eventually make its way over to Disney+ after a few months on the big screen. It will also be available on other streamers like Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Google Play, and more to rent and own at your leisure.
If you're hoping to get your mermaid kick in now, then you can tune into the original The Little Mermaid which is available on Disney+ and other streaming services including Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, and the Google Play store.
The 2023 version of The Little Mermaid will only be in theaters initially. After The Little Mermaid has completed its exclusive theatrical run, it is likely to stream on Disney Plus. You can also watch the animated version of Hans Christian Andersen's 1837 fairy tale of Ariel on Disney Plus now.
While you will only be able to catch the new "The Little Mermaid" in theaters starting next Friday, you can still sign up for Disney+ now to refresh yourself on the characters, song, plot and magical fun from the highly anticipated film. The 1989 version of the movie was a catalyst for Disney's animation renaissance throughout the '90s and it still holds up today.
An ad-supported Disney+ subscription starts at $8 per month, but you can get an ad-free access to the service for $11 monthly or bundle the Disney streaming service with Hulu and ESPN+ starting at $13 per month. Disney+ boasts a huge collection of movies and television series, including Marvel and Star Wars content. If you add in Hulu and ESPN, you have nearly unlimited entertainment at your fingertips.
When will The Little Mermaid be streaming on Disney+?
The Little Mermaid Disney+ premiere date is tentatively estimated to be Aug. 30, 2023.
While no official Little Mermaid streaming date has been confirmed by Disney, most of its major movie releases drop on Disney+ following a minimum 90-day period, and typically premiere on the platform on Wednesdays, making Wednesday, Aug. 30 the most likely date for Disney’s The Little Mermaid live-action streaming release.
Is The Little Mermaid streaming on Netflix?
No, The Little Mermaid will not be on Netflix — at least not any time soon. In the meantime, you’ll just have to head out to a movie theater or wait for it to become available to stream on Disney+.
Will The Little Mermaid Be On HBO Max?
No, The Little Mermaid will not be on HBO Max since it’s not a Universal Pictures movie. Last year, the company released its films in theaters and on the streamer on the same day. However, they now allow a 45-day window between the theatrical release and the streaming release.
Is The Little Mermaid Available On Hulu?
Viewers are saying that they want to view the new animation movie The Little Mermaid on Hulu. Unfortunately, this is not possible since Hulu currently does not offer any of the free episodes of this series streaming at this time. It will be exclusive to the MTV channel, which you get by subscribing to cable or satellite TV services. You will not be able to watch it on Hulu or any other free streaming service.
Most Viewed, Most Favorite, Top Rating, Top IMDb movies online. Here we can download and watch 123movies movies offline. 123Movies website is the best alternative to The Little Mermaid (2023) free online. We will recommend 123Movies is the best Solarmovie alternatives.
There are a few ways to watch The Little Mermaid online in the U.S. You can use a streaming service such as Netflix, Hulu, or Amazon Prime Video. You can also rent or buy the movie on iTunes or Google Play. You can also watch it on-demand or on a streaming app available on your TV or streaming device if you have cable.

2023.06.04 21:05 Spirited-Weird-1328 MLB Props: Eddie Rosario and Lourdes Gurriel Jr Total Bases Prop

*This is not gambling advice

MLB Player Props

Atlanta Braves Props: Eddie Rosario Props

We'll start off with Rosario who comes into tonight's game having gone over his total bases prop in 5 straight and 6 of his last 7. Rosario has flat out destroyed his prop of late having 2+ bases in 5 of those 6 overs and an insane 13 total bases in the first two games of the series vs the Diamondbacks. On the year Rosario is averaging 1.5 total bases per game and has gone over 0.5 total bases in 62% of his games. Rosario is swinging a red hot bat right now which bodes well for another total bases over again tonight. On the year Rosario is batting .257 with a slugging percentage of .462 and 79 total bases. Over his last 5 games, those numbers have skyrocketed up to .474, 1.000, and 19 total bases. That means a whopping 24% of Rosario's total bases this season have come in his last 5 games. Diamondbacks starter Zac Gallen is a good matchup today for Rosario as he's been a little shaky over his last 3 starts despite a great season overall. On the year Gallen has a 7-2 record along with a sparkling 2.73 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 82 strikeouts. Looking more specifically at the total bases prop, Gallen has allowed 4.92 hits per game, 6.92 total bases against per game, and 1.33 walks per game. Over his last 3 starts though, Gallen is allowing 6 hits, 8.33 total bases, and 2.67 walks per game as he's cooled off a bit. Rosarios line is once again 0.5 bases tonight with the books clearly feeling the heat as they've dumped his odds down to -195. If you have the option to take 1.5 at better odds that's not a bad idea either.

Arizona Diamondbacks Props: Lourdes Gurriel Jr. Props

Diamondbacks outfielder Lourdes Gurriel Jr heads into the third game of the series over his total bases prop in 8 of his last 10 games. Gurriel's line for tonight's game is 1.5 +120 and he's had 2+ bases in 3 straight, 7 of his last 10, and 14 of his last 20. Gurriel is averaging 2.04 total bases per game this year and has gone over 1.5 in just under 52% of his games so far. Gurriel has had a very solid season so far batting .311 with a slugging percentage of .511 along with 9 home runs, 35 RBI's and 107 total bases in 53 games. Over his last 10 Gurriel has improved on his averages hitting .342 from the plate with a .632 slugging percentage and 24 total bases. Gurriel has also performed much better at home all season with a better batting average (.327 vs .295), slugging percentage (.604 vs .484), and more total bases per game (2.18 vs 1.92). In his last 12 home games Gurriel has gone over his total bases prop 9 times for an over percentage of 75%. He's also had a lot of success vs the Braves at home going 5-0 on his prop since 2020 with an average of 2.8 total bases per game. Starting for the Braves today is Michael Soroka who is 0-1 in his lone start this year sporting a 6.00 ERA and a 1.17 WHIP in 6 innings of work. In a limited sample size Soroka did get hit around so we'll see if that happens again tonight and for Gurriel's prop over let's hope so. Gurriel will likely need to get it done early against Soroka as the Braves bullpen has been unreal over their past 3 games allowing only 1 hit, 1.33 total bases, and 0.33 walks per game in that span.

2023.06.04 20:57 Bballopinion Are Suns fans overreacting to the Suns' season?

In reality, I don't know how anyone expected the Suns to come out of the West after only playing 19 games with KD on the team. The Denver Nuggets were the first seed, had played the entire season together with the core after being plagued with injuries the past two seasons, and had the chemistry and foundation behind them for a long postseason run.
Also, looking back at the playoff series, the Suns weren't as bad as fans made it seem. It's also clear that trading for KD was the right move. KD was definitely disappointing at times in the playoffs, but looking back, he wasn't the problem. Let's look at the stats:
In the first round, both the stars played well. Booker had a postseason start we haven't seen since Jordan averaging 37/5/6 along with 2.6 steals on 60/47/86 shooting splits. KD averaged 28/8/6 on 52/46/96 shooting. While the bench played poorly, the rest of the starters also played quite well, with DA averaging 16 and 11, CP3 averaging 14/6/8, and Torrey Craig contributing 12 points per game.
In the second round, Booker started off the series quite well until he tweaked his ankle in the last couple of games, and averaged 31/5/8 on 57/55/88 shooting splits. KD played poorly aside from the start of Game 1, Game 3, and Game 4, but averaged 30/10/5 on 45/22/88 shooting splits along with 1.7 blocks. The supporting cast was also non-existent, with DA averaging 11 and 8 as the third leading scorer.
Overall, in the series against the Suns, we saw historically bad three-point shooting from KD, Booker getting injured in Game 5, DA being out for Game 6, and CP3 not even playing the last 4 games of the series. The team also didn't even play 20 games together with the entire core. Yet, the Suns pushed the eventual champions to six games, while the Wolves lost in 5 games and the Lakers got swept. The Heat will also probably lose in at most 5 games.
The stars aren't the problem on this team. Devin Booker played at an all-time great level. KD struggled against Aaron Gordon and shot horribly from 3, yet still averaged 30. Also, AG has basically locked down every small forward in these playoffs including KD, LeBron, and Jimmy Butler. The Suns still won 2 games, even with the rest of the team basically missing.
If the Suns can retool this offseason, get a younger PG to replace Paul, and trade DeAndre Ayton for some solid role players and potentially a consistent 3rd scorer, then this team will be fine next season.

2023.06.04 20:43 Lycid Trip report: Spain honeymoon for 2 weeks in May 2023 (first time flying J)

This was my first "big boy" award redemption I've done and it couldn't have gone better. Before, I've booked Hyatt rooms overseas and gotten the companion pass so been doing award travel for a while, but this was the first time we flew in J and first time being able to realize a "bucket list" trip thanks to award travel.
Here was our itinerary (started in SFO):
Barcelona -> Granada -> Cordoba -> Seville -> Ronda -> Setenil de las Bodegas -> Malaga (only to fly out of).
Planning began last summer, and the flights were booked then. Since this was the first time we've ever flown in J and it was the honeymoon, I wanted to make sure we spent a little extra for a nicer European carrier, and I wanted to try two of them. So on our flight there we flew KLM into Barcelona via Schiphol, and for the flight out we flew Air France from Malaga via CDG. We opted against doing TAP or Ibera for two reasons despite them being more direct: the product/service is apparently not as nice, and for Iberia it would have required a positioning flight into LAX. Next time we do Spain though, I definitely would give them a shot.
Points and cost break down
We did a LOT of research on the best programs and flights to do this trip and ultimately landed on Flying Blue. For one, while they do have fees, they were not exorbitant. For two, their products were very well reviewed. I'll get more into our actual experience in the review section below. But also crucially, there just happened to be a point transfer bonus going on at the same time from Chase that boosted our points by 25%.
Airfare:
Other travel costs, all booked in advance about 1-2 months out:
Hotels:
We only booked one hotel on points and it was in Barcelona. Overall, we found mom & pop run B&B's and AirBNB's to be a far better value than traditional hotels in most of Spain. But, Barcelona had some good options for some redemptions. Ultimately we decided on:

2023.06.04 20:23 jimbobbypaul Ranking the Top 131 FBS Programs of the Last 40 Years: 82. Memphis

Main hub thread with the full 131 rankings
What if I told you Memphis made Peyton Manning the QB he is today? In 1996, Memphis hosted junior QB Peyton Manning and #6 Tennessee late in the season. Memphis was just 3-6, while Tennessee was 6-1 and in the hunt for a national title. In true college football chaos fashion, the 26 point underdog Tigers pulled off a 21-17 win, scoring a TD with just 34 seconds to go. Returner Kevin Cobb took back a controversial 95 kick return for TD in which it looked like his knee was down, but the refs ruled it a TD. The play won an ESPY for college football play of the year, and the win was one of the biggest in school history.

Memphis: 1-11 (-67.338) Overall Score: 10364 (82nd)
60 NFL players is a LOT. Especially for a Group of 5 team. Memphis has produced the most NFL draftees of anyone on the list so far with 60, more than the 6 Power 5 teams we’ve seen including Iowa State, Indiana, Kansas, and Rutgers. Primarily they’ve been a RB factory in recent years, producing NFL RBs DeAngelo Williams, Tony Pollard, Antonio Gibson, Darrell Henderson, and Kenneth Gainwell. The first 3 produced 1000+ yard rushing seasons in the NFL, while Gainwell ran for 100 yards in a playoff game last year, and Henderson won a Super Bowl with the Rams recently. They also have a shout to be Special Teams U, producing All-American K Joe Allison, All-American P Tom Hornsey, NFL 2010s All-Decade K Stephen Gostkowski, and current NFL starting kickers Jake Elliott and Riley Patterson.

Top 5 Seasons

Worst Season: 2010 (1-11 overall, 0-8 Conference USA)
I can only imagine how helpless Dontari Poe felt. The 6’3 345 lb DT would be drafted with the 11th overall pick just 2 years later, and was a standout talent on an otherwise hapless Memphis team. Memphis ranked bottom 5 in both offense (14.4 PPG) and defense (39.8 PPG) in 2010, losing 8 games by 20+ points. Freshman punter Tom Hornsey probably enjoyed the inept offense, getting to punt 80 times for a 42.7 yard average. Hornsey would go on to be a consensus All-American 3 years later in 2013. They somehow beat Middle Tennessee 24-17, who made a bowl. But a 17-56 loss to 5-7 Houston was bad. Most of the blame fell on the shoulders of first year head coach Larry Porter, who prior to his hiring, had never been a head coach or even coordinator. Porter came from LSU’s RB coach position, and has returned to coaching RBs ever since his firing in 2011. As one cfb member put it, “Larry Porter almost got our program cancelled.”
5. 2003 (9-4 overall, 5-3 Conference USA)
After beating Tennessee Tech 40-10 in the opener, Memphis made themselves nationally known in week 2, beating Eli Manning and Ole Miss 44-34. Memphis QB Danny Wimprine outdueled Manning, throwing for 355 yards and 3 TD with no picks, also catching a 34 yard pass on a trick play. Future NFL RB Deangelo Williams burst onto the scene, racking up 166 and 3 TD from scrimmage on 32 touches. Ole Miss was a good team that year too, they’d finish 10-3 with a #13 final ranking. Memphis had a hangover after the game though, and won just 1 of their next 4. They grouped together to win 5 straight by an average score of 37-14, before losing to USF 16-21 in the final regular season game. Tied for 3rd place in C-USA, Memphis faced 3 straight Sun Belt champs North Texas in the New Orleans Bowl, shutting down any UNT passing game for a 27-17 win. Junior QB Danny Wimprine threw for 3000+ yards with 22 TD 13 INT, and would finish his career next season as Memphis’ all-time leading passer with 10,215 yards and 81 TD. DeAngelo Williams won C-USA Offensive POTY with just 11 games played, going for 1814 yards from scrimmage. Sophomore K Stephen Gostkowski was 19/29 on FGs.
4. 2017 (10-3 overall, 7-1 American)
By 2017, Memphis was known as one of the more solid Group of 5 programs, having gone 27-12 over the previous 3 years, located in an area with lots of local talent. QB Riley Ferguson and WR Anthony Miller returned for their seniors year after a great 2016 connection, and would level up in 2017. In week 3 they hosted #25 UCLA and Josh Rosen, who had just completed a 34-point comeback against Texas A&M 2 weeks prior. Ferguson was the better QB on the day, throwing for 6 TD in a 48-45 upset win. After a 3-0 start they’d lose 13-40 to a UCF team that would finish the season unbeaten. A few weeks later, a 30-27 win over #25 Navy would give Memphis their second win over a top 25 team in one season, their first time ever doing so. Other wins included 42-38 over Houston after being down 14-31 in the 3rd quarter, 66-45 over 7-6 SMU, and 70-13 over East Carolina. It was #20 UCF (11-0) vs #20 Memphis (10-1) for the AAC title, and UCF, a team of destiny that year, would win 62-55 in OT in one of the games of the year. Memphis played an emotional Iowa State team in the bowl, who was having their best season in decades, and lost by 1 point.
Ferguson threw for 4257 yards 38 TD 9 INT, completing a fantastic 2-season career after transferring from community college. RB Patrick Taylor Jr. got the bulk of carries with 157 for 866 yards and 13 TD, but it was Darrell Henderson who popped off with 1154 rushing yards on 8.9(!!!) yards per carry. Anthony Miller was a consensus All-American with 96 catches for 1462 yards and 18 TD, leading the nation in TD catches. LB Genard Avery had a stellar season on the defensive side with 80 tackles, 8.5 sacks, and 13.5 TFL.
This was one of the best offenses in the country, ranking 2nd in PPG with 45.5.
3. 2015 (9-4 overall, 5-3 American)
Justin Fuente was building something special at Memphis. Hired to clean up the mess Larry Porter left, Fuente had Memphis go 10-3 in 2014, his 3rd year, ending on a 7 game win streak. With that momentum, the Tigers started hot in 2015. A 55-23 win over Kansas in week 2 wasn’t even close, outgaining them 651-359. After wins over eventual MAC champion Bowling Green, and eventual bowl teams Cincinnati and USF, Memphis improved to 5-0, set to host #13 Ole Miss. In front of 60,000 fans, Memphis owned the Rebels, scoring 31 straight points in a 37-24 win. Memphis looked like a legit team that could compete with Power 5 schools for the first time ever. 2 wins later, they were up to #13 in the nation with a win streak of 15 games dating back to last season. The wheels would fall off against 6-1 Navy though. A -3 turnover margin was costly, as Navy just chewed clock on drives in a 45-20 win. Navy would go on to finish #18 and Keenan Reynolds was top 5 in Heisman voting. Originally the media darlings as the top ranked G5 team, #21 Memphis now faced unbeaten #24 Houston, who came back from down 34-14 in the 4th quarter to win by 1 point. Memphis slipped again, losing 12-31 to a really underrated Temple team, before taking their frusturations out in a 63-0 win over SMU. The 63-0 win had…the wildest statline I’ve ever seen? Ferguson went 9/14 on passes for 222 yards and 7 TD. Seven touchdowns on nine completions???
The year ended with an uneventful 31-10 loss to Auburn in the bowl. It was kind of a “what if” season for Memphis, losing 4 of their last 5, but still their 3rd best season in the last 40 years. Lynch parlayed a 3776 passing yard 28 TD 4 INT season into a 1st round selection by the Denver Broncos, successfully scamming the Elways. Somewhat deserved though, this team had just 1 other 1st/2nd team all-conference player in OL Taylor Fallin, so Lynch carried most of the load. Fuente left for the head coaching job at Virginia Tech after the season.
2. 2014 (10-3 overall, 7-1 American)
The year before 2015 was slightly better. This team was young and nobody knew who they were yet, as they’d gone just 12-48 over the previous 5 seasons. The media could smell something brewing under Fuente though, as Memphis was picked 7th out of 11 teams in the American, giving them a solid shot at making a bowl. Memphis surprised everyone in week 2, playing #11 UCLA to a 35-42 loss in the Rose Bowl (venue, not game). A 41-14 win over Cincinnati in week 5 signalled that Memphis had truly arrived, the offense clicking on all cylinders with 610 yards and 0 turnovers. After a loss to Houston, Memphis was 3-3 and 1-1 in the American, about to get into the meat of conference play. Easy wins over SMU and Tulsa improved their record to 5-3, and a walkoff FG for a 16-13 win over 5-3 Temple earned them bowl eligibility for the first time in 6 years. At 6-3 and 4-1 in the American, Memphis just needed to win their last 3 games to claim the conference title. A soft remaining schedule consisted of Tulane, USF, and UConn, whose combined record at the end of the year was 9-27. Memphis won all 3 easily, and clinched a share of the American title with Cincinnati and UCF, completing a dream regular season. They had a wild game in the Miami Beach Bowl, beating BYU 55-48, and tempers erupted at the end of the game, leading to one of the best brawls of the decade.
Memphis achieved double digit wins for the first time in school history and finished #25, their first top 25 finish ever. LB Tank Jakes won AAC Defensive POTY with 92 tackles, 6 sacks, and 9.5 TFL. K Jake Elliott was the AAC Special Teams POTY, going 21/32 on FGs, ranking 1st in the AAC in scoring, and hit a 54 yard FG in the bowl. Justin Fuente won AAC Coach of the Year. Memphis football was back!
1. 2019 (12-2 overall, 7-1 American)
This team was LOADED offensively. QB Brady White, the second year starting QB who transferred from Arizona State, could hand the ball off to future NFL RB Kenneth Gainwell, or throw to all-conference WR Damonte Coxie or future NFL players Antonio Gibson and Calvin Austin III. The year started strong with a 15-10 shutdown of Ole Miss, followed up by a 5-0 start. #23 Memphis lost in a 28-30 upset to Temple, but that’d be the Tigers’ last loss all regular season. With College GameDay attending, #24 Memphis beat #15 unbeaten SMU 54-48 in an absolute barnburner, Antonio Gibson going for 97 rushing yards, 130 receiving yards, 159 kick return yards, and 3 total TD. And he touched the ball just 12 times!!! That’s 386 yards on 12 touches! Memphis needed to win their final regular season game against #19 Cincinnati to make the American championship game, and grinded out a 34-24 win. The two would rematch a week later, and Cincinnati would give a better effort, but the Bearcats were too depleted at this point in the season, and Memphis scored a late TD to win 29-24 and claim their 2nd conference title in 5 years. #17 Memphis earned the Group of 5 slot for a New Years 6 bowl and played admirably against #10 Penn State, losing 39-53 in a fun game. The two were polar opposites, Memphis throwing for 479 yards and rushing for 53, while Penn State threw for 133 and rushed for 396.
Brady White finished 2nd Team all-conference, throwing for 4014 yards 33 TD 11 INT. He’d go on to finish his career a year later as Memphis’ all-time leading passer with 10,949 yards and 92 TD. Freshman RB Kenneth Gainwell had an unreal year, rushing for 1459 yards and 13 TD on 6.3 YPC while also catching 51 passes for 610 yards and 3 TD. WR Damonte Coxie was 2nd Team all-conference with 1276 receiving yards. Do-it-all WR Antonio Gibson put on a show all year long with 369 rushing yards and 4 TD on 11.2 YPC, 38 catches for 735 yards and 8 TD, and won AAC Special Teams POTY with 28 yards per kick return and a TD. Even TE Joey Magnifico was all-conference.
2019 Memphis is my 42nd best Group of 5 team since 1983.

5th Quarter

What play/playegame do you think of when you think of Memphis? Who was a better coach at Memphis, Justin Fuente or Mike Norvell? Fuente rescued Memphis from the depths they were in and built a solid foundation, while Norvell took it a step further, making a New Years 6 Bowl. How would you rank these QBs in college: Paxton Lynch, Riley Ferguson, and Brady White? How would you rank these RBs in college: DeAngelo Williams, Darrell Henderson, Tony Pollard, Kenneth Gainwell? What’d you think of those Fuente/Norvell teams that were beating top 25 teams on a yearly basis, were you scared of them? And how do you think Memphis should fare when it comes to conference expansion, are they a nice program to add?

2023.06.04 20:23 JustHere4HUTnews Samuel Savard Update!

No pic this time as I'm writing up on my phone but his ratings are mostly the same. Just 2 years in game have passed since the last update (MLB the show and ootp 24 have been taking up my free time) but they were an eventful two years to say the least.
After joining Montreal on a two year deal as the highest paid player ever (15m) the expectations for Savard entering his age 26 season were sky high. However things did not get off to a good start.
Through the first half of the season Montreal was winning games but Savard was hovering just below a ppg. The Canadiens fan base was already starting to turn on their expensive winger with some believing it was best for Montreal to collect assets via a trade rather than keeping Savard for the length of his deal.
The Canadiens were given lots of time to think about this as the NHL entered a break for the winter Olympics to take place. Savard, of course, was selected to represent team Canada. He found his groove wearing his home lands colors posting 5 goals and 12 points in 6 olympic games en route to capturing another gold medal for Canada even adding the golden goal.
Savard returned to Montreal and with his confidence reestablished and took the NHL by storm. Hindered by his slow start his final stats don't look the best but he totalled 32g and 88pts in 82 games, however, these totals were heavily back loaded with a stellar second half.
This dominance is emphasized when looking at his playoff stats. Savard buried 15 goals adding another 15 assists for 30 points in 18 playoff games leading the 53 win Habs on a Stanley cup final run. However it ended in heartbreak as the Winnipeg Jets swept the Montreal Canadiens to capture their first title in franchise history.
Despite the heartbreak Savard was entering another contract year and he played to the top level all year long posting 50 goals (2nd 50+ goal season) and a career high 126 points during the regular season. This led to him capturing his 2nd art Ross, 5th Hart, and 5th Ted Lindsay award. Montreal cruised to a 65 win season posting an NHL record 134 team points. After losing just one game in the first two rounds Montreal hit a wall in the ECF once again falling via a sweep this time by the Philadelphia Flyers. Savard did his part posting 7g and 23pts in 13 playoff games.
With no ring to show for his two years in Montreal it seemed natural Savard was going to test the FA market again. The feeling was mutual on Montreal's side as Savard was asking for a 17m aav for 6 years to stay in Montreal. Despite also not winning the cup in the 2 years Savard's home town Toronto Maple Leafs were still not interested in bringing the hometown boy in as their financials would not allow it without deconstructing their 2 time champion core. Montreal and Washington also sat out the bidding war for Savard leaving 29 teams to battle it out in pursuit of the star.
When the dust cleared it was the Buffalo Sabres adding Samuel Savard inking him to a 6 year deal with an aav 13.52m (his ask from Montreal dropped to 15m on July 1st). Savard joins a Sabres team that has not made the playoffs in 8 years and has never lifted lord Stanley's cup. Sabres are coming off 3 straight season in the 70-80 point range including back to back 79 point seasons as they fail to even appear to be trending upwards.
However, the Sabres squad doesn't lack talent as the boast 3 3.5+ star players at both the defense and forward position. This doesn't even include the real x-factor of the deal: 5 star RW John Wilson. Wilson, a fellow first overall pick (2038) is 23 years old and yet to establish himself at the NHL level. Reports are he's nearly been dealt out of Buffalo on at least two occasions. Its been mostly injuries holding Wilson back, he's never played more than 78 games in a season and has played 53 or less every other year. The 4 year NHL vet has just 68 goals and 138 points in 221 NHL games. He did show signs of life last year posting 17g and 40pts in 44 games before a torn hamstring ended his season early (various smaller injuries also took games away).
Perhaps the most interesting part of this new duo is their shared roots. After Savard dominated the OHL for the Petes he naturally left after his draft year. Peterborough fell back to obscurity posting just 46 points in the following season. This landed them a new top piece as in the 2035 OHL priority selection the Petes selected John Wilson 1st overall. Wilson did not have the playoffs success that Savard had in the O but he did dominate his draft year to the tune of 36 goals and 75 points in just 49 games helping Canada to silver at that years world juniors. Due to a training camp injury leaving Wilson out of shape he even returned to Peterborough in his D+1 year.
Most recently Wilson and Savard got to link up for the first time as professionals as Wilson joined Savard on team Canada capturing the 2042 Olympic gold. It appears being together on that team, and perhaps some Peterborough connections, were enough to convince Savard to sign long term in Buffalo.

2023.06.04 20:21 _neeler Pitch an Archer film (or extended season) that properly ends the series!

I think many of us would agree that 8 episodes isn’t enough to properly conclude the awesome series that is Archer. Here you can make your own ending to the series as a feature length film (or alternatively, a final extended season).
Feel free to retcon anything from previous seasons to make sure your film or extended season is FANTASTIC. (Malory and/or Woodhouse return, birth of AJ, etc.)
Who will be your antagonist? Barry, KGB Alligators, Trinette, or someone new? The choice is yours!

BEST COMMENT OF WEEK 21:
This one was a hard to choose. All of you were great with your comments about Yoshiwara in Flames and reading your comments was a pure joy to me. So this time there won’t be just one victor. Nor three or four victors.
NO!
There will be two victors.
First victor is u/TakenRedditName. I liked his analysis which was a good read.
The main message of the arc, being able to stand noble and tall is pure Gintama. Hinowa and Tsukuyo being able to stand tall is what inspires the rest of Yoshiwara. The element also of the shining sun of tomorrow will always come is also one that is true to Gintama and Gintoki as a character. The family aspect is also good. Like how Gintoki points it out, Seita and Hinowa are family despite having no blood connection nor having spent much time together in contrast to Kamui’s lack of love to his own blood family. Hinowa and Seita are just really sweet, I really like this little moment. Seeing Seita carry Hinowa.
Also liked some facts he pointed out:
It is funny in retrospect how this lines up with Kagura’s chunni backstory for her Monkey Hunter character back in that unassuming episode. Like her manly game avatar, when her back is against the wall. Kagura’s dark second personality comes out and she becomes a hard-nosed berserker and her mortal enemy is her older brother.
And most importantly this is another reason he won the comment of the week:
Originally, I was going to write how Hozen’s before-death moment doesn’t quite land despite liking when it happened with Ito, but watching and thinking about it, I’ve come to appreciate it. Now, the flashback is just him abusing a little girl who only shows and wished him kindness, but his talk with Kamui, I think presents something interesting. Hozen is much more morally black than Ito so going a similar route of final moment turnaround isn’t going to work, but Hozen is more like looking back at where he ended up. The thing about being unable to show love, always chasing yet never being able to embrace what he is after since he only knows violence, I think it speaks true to the Yato experience. Hozen has the element of building a big twisted form of a house, a paradise to call his home though one built with force and tyranny which is sorta tied to Umibozu, Kagura and Kamui. Umibozu wanted to have a home and family, but didn’t know how and ended up keeping his distance. Kagura wants to find a place away from the violent nature of the Yato while Kamui has abandoned it all for the sole purpose of living on the violent battlefield.
Now I mentioned that the comment of the week has another victor. And it’s u/KendotsX for pointing an interesting piece about Abuto which slipped past me when I was rewatching Yoshiwara in Flames.
He's far from the limelight of this arc, he's strong and experienced, but not the fearsome King of the Yato. He's brutal, but not the blood thirsty young-un coming here to mess with Hosen. And while he's hot, he's not topping Tsukuyo. Basically Abuto rides in the backseat, but he's the best person you could have in your backseat.
First off, Abuto is voiced by Houchu Ootsuka, his voice is like a melody that makes my head orgasm.
But really it's the performance, the way Abuto carries himself, the laid back, but responsible attitude always looking to clean up after others, the informal and snarky mannerism of speech, but careful wording.
Even his attitude towards his race is a paradox, he wants his race to embrace its bloodthirsty nature, while keeping as many alive as is possible. He's got so much bullshit, he doesn't get to call Kagura out.
Although his joke about the "outdated" nature sets him perfectly between Kamui, who's full on following the Yato blood, and Kagura who's going against it.
Abuto's main role in the arc is obviously fighting Kagura, bringing out the beast in her, and then becoming her punching bag. The fight itself is great, but realistically any strong enough Yato could've been her foe, so what does Abuto bring to the table? He's standing in the middle. Not just between Kagura and her brother, but even between Kagura and and her "dark side", giving her useful insight from his position. Even when she beats the shit out of him, he never goes all bloodthirsty, instead he sees it as a good thing for the Yato that's worth keeping alive, therefore sticking to his ideals. Basically he's a lot closer to Kagura's ideal than she is.
I love Tsukuyo, she's a good kid, a really good kid, and overall a better character, but in this arc, Abuto stands as my favourite! If this guy was in One Piece, he'd be the only one giving Zoro a challenge for best right hand man.
And as a prize for both of you, I prepared a special room for you. So enjoy yourself to your fullest, you have 72 hours to spend together there. Have fun!

QUESTIONS FOR YOU - WEEK 21:
  1. What’s your opinion about Housen being redeemed in the end?
This one was a kind of a test from my side. All of you passed with saying he wasn’t redeemed because the point in his dying scene wasn’t about him but about Hinowa’s character.
  1. Tsukuyo made her debut. How you liked her character so far? What’s your predictions about her? Also what do you think about her?
Everyone of you immediately liked her.
  1. Also Kagura’s elder brother, Kamui, made his debut. Your thoughts about him and your predictions about him?
You quite liked him and you have a great expectations about his character in future.
  1. Abuto. What do you think of him?
The most you liked about him is his voice, and u/KendotsX made interesting analysis about him (I referred that in Best comment of the week section)
  1. The tastiest one. Kagura snapping. Your thoughts?
You were terrified, blursed, amazed, scared, sad, you found it raw and you found it to be quite good scene.
AND I LOVED TO READ EVERY COMMENT OF YOURS REACTING ABOUT IT.
  1. Are you satisfied how Housen was defeated? I mean having Housen defeated not by Gintoki, but by sunlight.
You liked it by showing that Gintoki isn’t almighty in his verse and sometimes you need others help to win.
  1. Also in the end, Yoshiwara has opened. Your predictions how opening of Yoshiwara will impact Kabukicho?
Not a strong answers to this question.
  1. Btw. we had whole batch dedicated to single arc for first time. Was it a different experience for you than having mixed batches, or no?
Some of you found harder to write your comment about it, and some of you found easier to write your comment about it, as whole single arc is easier to write about than several mini-arcs mixed with comedy episodes.
Also u/KendotsX died twice as he was writing his comment. But he has spare lives so it’s okay.

Rewatchers please dont talk without using spoiler tags [Spoilers] like this about events which still didn't happen in anime, don't name characters that weren't introduced yet, don't post pictures of characters yet to be introduced and try to refrain from using arcs and episodes names yet to be introduced.
DON'T EVEN TRY TO BE VAGUE THINKING YOU ARE SO CLEVER AND NO ONE WILL CONNECT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER LIKE SAYING IT WOULD BE SHAME IF YOUR LOCAL POST OFFICE SENT YOU A BOMBASTIC LIST. JUST. USE. SPOILERS TAGS. LIKE THIS [Spoilers] https://i.imgur.com/nojEEcg.png
There will be first watchers discussing it together with us and I believe nobody here wants them to be spoiled.
If you want to talk about something you noticed on your rewatch, which is hinting about future events hid it properly underneath the spoilers like the fact [Spoilers] that the information hidden in this spoiler is totally pointless.
