I never really cared about it in the past. Most of the time I would put luck at 1 so I’d have more points for the others. I decided to do a max luck run on new Vegas after I had just beat it with 1 luck. Dude.
Bankrupting the casinos was cake, I was like level 8 and had 38,000 caps. That’s more than double what I had at level 19 on my previous play through and I was a pack rat for selling shit, I didn’t even have to have a big carry weight with 10 luck. It didn’t matter. I don’t really know how else to say it, but it makes the game more fresh. I played the game mostly identical to how I would play otherwise, but I had the most fun with that one.
Now I’m level 47 replaying Fallout 4, with 1 Strength, 4 Perception, 3 Endurance, 6 Charisma, 4 Intelligence, 5 Agility and 10 luck. My goal is to reach level 68, the level of my other character, to see which one is better overall and which one is more overpowered, as with which one was harder to build. So far, I’m thinking it’s probably going to go to the luck build for all 3. I have 4.5 days in my level 68, I have 1 day and 7 hours on this level 47, but the level 47 was much more difficult although much faster until around level 25.
I currently have 19/47 skill points in luck, with basically all of my skill points focused around criticals in vats. Scrounger 3, Idiot Savant 3, Better Criticals 3, Critical Banker 3, Grim Reapers Sprint 3, Four Leaf Clover 3, Ricochet 1, Action Boy 3, Gunslinger 5, using mainly Kellogg’s Pistol.
I can practically live in VATS if I want to. In earlier levels I used the deliverer just for a chance at a critical, then switch to the right weapon and finish the job. After level 32 you don’t have to with Four Leaf Clover, you get a critical from like every 3 shots. At level 46 with Grim Reapers Sprint, you are just simply overpowered, it makes very hard like easy as far as damage output goes. I can fire 4 shots and get 4 criticals sometimes, there’s no reason to not use them on every enemy.
It does have its downside though. I don’t have strength and I decided to use the ridiculous amount of fusion cores that I find for money instead of using power armor. I take far more damage than my other playthroughs, so it’s essentially running a glass tank. I couldn’t use Lone Survivor or the game would be painful, so I use Ada to combat the low carry weight I have and ever since finding her I haven’t had any issues with cw I can still go a long time without putting junk away at the settlements.
Still, I’ve killed 7 enemies in a row with criticals. Killed a legendary sentry with 1 shot using the salvaged assaultron head, a legendary deathclaw 1 shot with Kellogg’s pistol and legendary mirelurk queen 1 shot both using a missile launcher. As well as killed the institute courser with 1 mini nuke and a few shots from Kellogg’s Pistol. Point being you do quite a bit of damage.
If you loot religiously, it more than rewards you. I haven’t been short on anything the entire game. If I want it, it’s there at some point.
So yeah I recommend the 10 luck build it’s a fun time.

The slack channel doesn't seem to exist anymore and I can't find a discord or IRC channel to chat on so I'm posting here.

• Is there an online chat forum for pwnagotchi?
• I'm running on a pi4 and it typically reboots after an hour no matter if I use the original 1.5.3, or the 1.5.5FIX/1.6.3 forks. I can't find a reason for reboots in any logs. Has anyone else seen this and have a fix?
• BT-Tether with android seems busted. I've tried bluetoothctl trust, bluetoothctl scan, bluetoothctl pair, bluetoothctl connect in all kinds of orders and I still can't seem to reliably connect to my phone's bluetooth, using the shared internet of my phone seems to be a step further I can't even reach.
• Are there instructions for a manual installation? I'm entertaining the idea of installing pwnagotchi directly on my rooted phone via termux.
• Right now, my workflow is to boot 'gotchi, wait a minute, then plug an external USB wifi in, an external keyboard in, and type out memorized login and wpa_supplicant commands to connect to a local wifi, then I ssh in and watch a live feed of it running. Is it possible to pin the internal wifi chip to connect to another network (or my mobile phone's hostpot) and use an external USB wifi stick (panda) as the pwning device (mon0)?
• To further the idea, if the internal wifi chip doesn't detect it's pinned local SSID, can it switch into AP mode and serve the pwnagotchi screen over it's own network?
• I have changed the USB0 interface IP to a 172.x.x.x network via /etc/network/interfaces.d/usb0-cfg. It would be nice to have this configurable in config.toml so people with 10.0.0.x networks don't have to stomp on them to set up a pwnagotchi. Are there any negative impacts or reduced funtionality from doing this?
• I have a second 'gotchi lying around and one of them shows she found her friend. The other is mum about any peering but shows some peer requests in the peers tab of the main screen. Sometimes they don't even see each other. Where does one even begin on diagnosing their ignorance of each other?
• Being on a pi4, the nn loads in seconds. There seem to be some cycles to spare - where/how can I push a bigger dictionary for her to digest pcaps with?

I got hired in January for level 3 help desk for a big company, it's my first corporate IT job, 25/hr. Before that I was doing small-time freelance, and some server hosting for my online communities. That and working in the electronics dpt for a chain department store were the only things on my resume. (I left anything that wasn't tech off of it)
I've been here for 5 months now and I've learned a lot, but I want to start gearing up so I'm ready for the search for something bigger in a few/many months.
I don't have a degree, and I got my A+ in December after studying for 3 weeks.
I'm considering doing the Sophia>WGU path to get a degree, or maybe just grabbing either Network/Security+, or a cloud cert?
I don't have any areas of IT that I'm more interested in than others, security and cloud I suppose.
What would you recommend I do?

Im currently doing a grounded run and I wanna know if I do grounded + will the amount of ammo, molotovs, supplements etc carry over to new game plus? Like for example if I end the game with 10 bullets for my revolver and I still have like 2 Molotov’s will those 10 bullets and the 2 Molotov’s carry over to new game plus? Or it all resets?

hey I'm new to this group and new to caregiving in general. earlier this year, for unforseen circumstances, I (26F) had to move out of my boyfriends family home, leaving him behind, to move back in with my parents. however, as gut wrenching as it was, I was already considering moving back because I couldn't stand not being there for my 69 y.o mother while my 91 (yes 91!) y.o father was needing more and more help.
a little background on my mom: ever since I was 10, she had been on and off in the hospital for a multitude of issues. she's had surgery on her stomach, back, legs, throat, nerves, knees, spine, etc. we call her the bionic woman because she is strong as all hell, and she still continued to be my mom the best she can throughout all of it.
my father, on the other hand, was much more distant. much more cold, and a narcissist. he always took and never gave and I can't really remember any bad memories with him from when mom was in the hospital, but I can't remember any good either. i just had to entertain myself while he watched tv downstairs. it was isolating. the best character I could compare him to is Tony soprano. everything is an issue and he would explode at any minor inconvenience because of years of anxiety and probably other untreated mental health issues...
he now has COPD and emphysema, congestive heart failure, bladder cancer, and honestly some other things I can't even keep up with. his hand keeps swelling. he's on forced air now. but the thing is...even the doctors said he doesn't need forced air all the time and that he needs to do things on his own and move around, which he is more than capable of doing. but he doesn't see that. all he wants is my mom to help him. no one else. she's still recovering from her sciatic nerve surgery from last year (and NOT healing). he cries and cries and cries for help and she physically and mentally can't take it. I came in to take the load off but nothing will ever satisfy him. he will play the sick puppy card and talk about how nobody likes him and how nobody wants to talk to him (and people try but he just shuts them out when they do). but the thing with him is...everything has to be on his terms. he just has no consideration for anyone else's health. he will drop a spoon and fucking scream "I CANT DO THIS ANYMORE!!!!" and my blood pressure shoots through the roof. (not exaggerating, happened multiple times through my life)
and I know some people will say "he's 91 years old!" but he's been this way since I could remember. it's just who he is. I've learned what different footsteps mean, I learned what different sounds could lead up to. if I hear a spoon drop anywhere now I will just cringe in anticipation. when I was a child I heard auditory hallucinations of him screaming my name.
another big source of my anxiety is that I have a little dog who's my world, and hes had to of dropped a dozen pills only a week into me being here...if she eats one...I would absolutely lose my mind. but thankfully he no longer does his pills or makes his breakfast, and we fetch his dessert and dinner. however, he can (and should for his sake) do most everything else !
my mom hasn't lived her life because of him. he will guilt trip and gaslight her to no end just for going out with friends, he always has. he told her shes the reason hes like this because she decided to go on a weekend trip with one of my sisters last year. he's always needed to control her and all his kids. she knows nothing about our financial situation because he refused to share it with her...even after being married 40 years.
I take xanax as needed and have been going to therapy on and off since I was 8, and I have made strides with not even needing medicinal help to help my anxiety--until I came back here. I can't work now. I had to quit my job. I was trying to make a career with my degree and all that came to a halt. I just feel like a failure, at 26, almost 27, i thought i would have some foundation by now...I thought I could be something. I want to help pay them back for my loans but here I am unemployed and just feeling worthless.
he is full time, I have no down time. even when I have down time I just anticipate him calling us for God knows what (usually for me to go upstairs and get him water or something--something he CAN do). I'm always on edge and I'm always exhausted. my body hasn't ached like this since I worked full time at a cafe and only had one 15 minute break through the whole 8 hour shift (not legal i know hahaha)
and he's still cognitive, losing memory most likely due to his heightened anxiety, but still able to hold a conversation and be as passive-aggressive as ever.
going back to my boyfriend though--he will hopefully be moving in with us later this year..once my 40 y.o sister moves out. and yeah, she rarely contributes to the situation and escapes to her boyfriends or to the store 80% of the time. my boyfriend would help and it would be a weight lifted. but I can't hope for that right now, I can't afford to hope for this to happen any time soon. it'll happen when it happens. but I can say I'm blessed to have his support from a distance.
I just want to have a life but more importantly I just want my mom to finally feel like she's living, before it's too late...

Hello, I need advice.
I bought a car roughly a year and a half ago.
At the time the car was worth around 15k, I paid after the fees and such 17k.
My loan is sitting at 14.5k
6 months ago I refinanced and it was worth 14k. My apr is ~10%. Now that it is 6 month later my car value plummeted to 8k (nothing I have done other then daily driving. Just covid things) I feel like my money is being wasted, and to be honest I only planned to have this car about 2 years while my credit built up.
But now that I'm getting near that time, I do not know what to do since it is all messed up. I do not feel like my car is worth the value now, my time, or my investment.
Would it be worth trading for something else and having that big of gap of negative towards next car? I do not really have much saved up.. if I do absolutely nothing but essentials, I can save roughly $500 a month, so even that will take time.

As the title says, I graduated this May and as my visa won't allow more than 90 days of unemployment, I am applying for jobs at least 10 jobs every day. I just search "new grad SDE" on LinkedIn and apply to any company that provides VISA sponsorship. I have a couple of high-level interesting projects but I guess I shot myself in the foot when I interned in my department's lab rather than getting some experience in the industry. I got 2 interviews in October from two big tech companies but haven't gotten any interviews since then. I am wondering if I am doing anything wrong. Can anyone have a look at my resume and suggest if I need to change anything? Also, what is the right process to search for a job?

With very mixed results its pretty hard to get a proper gage this early, trying to project which college players break out, which incoming freshman pop or struggle.
Many of the names mentioned below may never reach the NBA while others not mentioned maybe lottery picks this time next year, still it may give you a base on guys to take a look at next year. I watch a lot of college ball but not nearly familiar enough with international players so if you want to put forward some names or players I've missed please let me know.
I tend to agree with draft analysts that this draft lacks star potential, nothing clear on who will go number one, at the moment I'm leaning with Holland (youth, athleticism, 2 way potential) but have seen multiple names mocked, Edwards, Mara, Collier, Buzelis, Wagner, Risacher. I still believe though that there is great depth in this draft for potential role players/starters.
