A minecraft world that's ran like a dnd campaign with turn-based. A completely written lore and total freedom. So the setting or Insperation is a complete mix of starwars, cyber punk, star trek, halo, elite dangerous, titan fall, star citizen and eve online. But all on a smaller setting taking place during the birth of human colonization, the play area takes place in the area called the "the frontier" outside of government controlled space, like a wild west type. Custom map and custom hand made ships all in minecraft. Also did I say there was total freedom?
There's a lot of lore but the main issue my host Is having trouble with trying to do space combat with fleets. It's a lot of trouble but we have been doing it with minis but there's gotta be a better way? I dunno but I'm curious on what you all think about it

So - you finally decided to start a seablock run after playing around in vanilla factorio (or maybe some space exploration / K2 / AE / etc). You load up a new install of factorio, search the mod listing for seablock... and find 2 options: seablock, and seablock pack. Perhaps going by the latest update (seablock), or by just the name, you decide to select seablock - start the game... and its not quite the same as you expect (or perhaps you post some screenshots of your starter base online and notice all the comments of 'you got the wrong modpack!'). So let me clarify for you!

Seablock & Seablock pack:

Seablock (as a mod) is a barebones mod that includes all the changes necessary to play seablock. It adds the extra recipes / items, along with checking which mods you have installed and updating their settings for a proper seablock experience. It does not however require all the mods you need for a full seablock experience.
Seablock pack (as a mod) is an empty mod that only contains dependencies to all the required mods you want to use to play seablock. Basically, if you start a vanilla minecraft install and select 'seablock pack' as a mod to install, it will install all the necessary mods for a seablock run (yes - including the 'seablock' mod!)
Which of the two to use? I would highly recommend you install the 'seablock pack' which will install and enable all the necessary mods for a proper seablock experience. After doing that and ensuring the 'seablock pack' is enabled (not red) you can then disable any of the included mods you dont wish to play with (ex: helmod if you prefer factory planner, explosive excavation if you prefer waterfill). This will disable the 'seablock pack' (marking it red), but that doesnt matter at this point!

What you miss by running barebones (not using seablock pack):

• All of bob's mods
  • no multi-tiers for power poles, steam engines, nuclear, solar, furnaces, T4-6 assembly machines, warfare (power armor), beacons, and many more.
  • electric assemblers (2x2 assemblers specifically for circuit parts)
  • bob's aliens (higher tier worms & return of alien artifacts)
  • fluid burning boilers / heat sources (no bean power for you!)
• circuit processing
  • additional steps for making circuits
  • revamp of the entire module production chain that makes things much more complicated for the authentic seablock experience
• ks power
  • this is your windmill mod!
  • if you start the game with solar panels & accumulators, its because this mod isnt enabled. This is a good hint that you havent installed the full seablock modpack, and the reason why screenshots of starter bases with solar panels instead of windmills have comments of 'install full seablock pack!!!!'
• landfill painting / waterfill
  • set the type of ground used for landfill (unless you like the dirt-brown look of vanilla landfill) and the ability to place water
• reskin mods
  • Recolors the various buildings based on tiers (grey/yellow/red/blue/purple/green) instead of having all buildings look the same
  • Adds higher resolution graphics
  • Changes item graphics to be 'better' and not look as dated
  • The other reason your screenshots might get the 'install full seablock pack!!!' comments
• sci cost tweaker
  • Switches out the science pack recipes from vanilla to more complicated 'full seablock experience' versions
  • Very important!
• Space mod
  • Adds an endgame past launching a rocket
  • Instead of the game ending after you launch the rocket you now have to research and assemble a spaceship to take you away (win the game)
  • Involves hundreds of rocket launches for the space science, along with FTL research (over 1m science packs total required!) which necessitates you to transition to a megabase design to fully complete the game.

Which mods can I remove from the seablock pack and still get the full experience?

• Angels addons storage
  • Adds warehouses & high capacity tanks - you can play without them (or install a different warehouse style mod), but I would recommend leaving it
• Bob's (adjustable) inserters
  • Allows you to set the pickup/dropoff positions of inserters (aka: you can now have 90* inserters!).
  • Very helpful for direct insertion designs, though not strictly necessary for a 'full' seablock experience.
  • Give them a try if you never played with them, and if they arent your cup of tea then sure - remove them.
• Bob's Warfare
  • Adds higher tier armor, sniper rifles, etc. Really the only major change removing this will have on your game is that instead of a regular radar for your space science you will need to make T5 radars which require like 20+ ingredients (total).
  • Used to be that this mod also added a bunch of (unnecessary) war research & sci packs that just bloated the item screen, but that has been removed so there really isnt a good reason to remove this mod
• Explosive excavation
  • Adds ability to place water tiles by 'blasting' (requires chem-science with explosives)
  • Can be removed & replaced with waterfill or similar if you want easier water placement, or have a preference for a different water placement mod.
• KS Power
  • Ok, fine - if you want you can remove this mod and start with solar panels & accumulators. Not really going to loose much in terms of 'authentic seablock experience', but be ready for the 'you arent using the full seablock pack! Install from -here-!' comments for any screenshot of your starter base.
• Landfill painting
  • Its nice to have, but if you are ok with the 'default' landfill texture you can just disable this mod.
• FNEI
  • The 'what is this item' search mod. Remove it only if you know you will not need it! In any case it is a very minimal mod, so if you dont need it you can just ignore the little icon for it.
  • Recipe book is an alternate option
  • If this is your first time playing seablock, I would highly recommend keeping this mod!
• Helmod
  • This is your planner mod - once you know how to use it you can plan out your factory with it and use correct ratios / recipes instead of having to do all of that on paper (or just guesstimating)
  • Remove it only if you have alternative planners!

    • Foreman 2 (external program)

Which additional mods should I add?

Check out the commonly used mods page on the wiki for ideas. Also, any QOL mods that you prefer (picker mods, companion drones / early robots / nanobots, some version of loaders, squeakthrough, text plates, LTN, longer reach, etc.)

If you want the full seablock experience or came here after watching DoshDoshington (or any other youtube seablock videos) and want to play the game they played then you want to:

1. Install factorio and ensure its the latest version
2. Disable any mods you may have
3. Install the 'seablock pack' (not 'seablock'!) mod
4. Ensure that the seablock pack mod is enabled (not red/grey!)
5. (optional) disable helmod / install factory planner, add any QOL mods you may want to add (check out the 'commonly used mods' page on the wiki for ideas)
6. Start the game (freeplay)

Passive: Inbalance Highlight: Whenever you deal damage to an enemy through abillities or autos you apply a stack of Inbalance on them for 6s refreshing with each further stack applied and stacking up indefinitely.
Inbalance: After 6 stacks, your enemy's Magic Resist is reduced by 10-20(Based on level)% and their Attack Damage and Abillity Power are reduced by 5-10(Based on level)%. Stacks after the 6th further increase the Magic Resist reduction by 1% and the Attack Damage and Abillity Power reduction by 0.5%.

Active: Channel over this abillity's duration, immobilizing yourself, for every 0.45/0.4/0.35/0.3/0.25s channeled shoot one of your orbs dealing 30/40/50/60/70(+30% AP) Magic Damage per Orb to the first enemy hit.

Active: After 1.25s summon a shining light at the targeted location for 3s, granting vision and dealing 1/1.5/2/2.5/3(+0.5% AP)% of the targets Max Health as Magic Damage every 0.5s. Any of Kora's Orbs of Balance will instead be transfered to the light's location and orbit around it's edges. Kora regains 20/40/60/80/100(+9% bonus HP) Health while inside the light's area and is granted a 50/75/100/125/150(+35% AP, +9% bonus HP) shield. Passive: Gain 1/2/3% bonus Armor and Magic Resist per Orb Active. Increase Orb cap by +1/2/3 when this abillity is not on cooldown.
Active: Instant casting(Under 0.35s) will use this abillity consuming only 1 Orb of Balance, after 0.35s, every 0.2s consume another orb of Balance to empower this abillity. Launch Mega Orb that deals 80/120/160(+40% AP) Magic Damage + 40/50/60(+20% AP) magic Damage per orb consumed after the first one. The Mega Orb pulls enemies to it's center and applies a stack of inbalance every 0.75s to enemies it pulls.

*Pull Strenght: Basically pushes enemies towards it's center. An enemy with 200 speed moving away from the center with a Pull Force of 200 will be immobilized. An enemy with 100 speed moving away from the center with a Pull force of 200 will be pulled at a speed of 100. An enemy with 300 speed moving away from the center with a Pull Force of 200 will move away at a speed of 100. Basically it uses vectors to calculate the direction the pulled target will go.

Playstyle:
Mage: You want to poke with Q until the enemy reaches 6 stacks and then use E to stun them and Q them for a quick burst. You can use E to gain vision, help other lanes or even stack your passive in an enemy that's behind minions but you will lose your Orb's protection. You can cast it on yourself to heal yourself and even deal damage and stack passive on divers. Your Q's passive is a way to stack your passive very fast allowing you to use E to stun your enemies and get out. W + Q can also deal a fair amount of burst onto other lanes but you will become vulnerable for W's duration and you can't place W on top of the enemy otherwise the orbs won't hit, and unless the enemy is stunned it's unlikely you'll hit all of your orbs(Especially considering W's 1.25s of delay.)
Your Ult has 2 purposes, CC &Burst or Poke&Burst. Casting at max range will make it's pull almost innefective as the projectile will move much faster than it can pull and it won't apply many stacks, but it still deals a burst of damage at a high range. Casting it on top of yourself will pretty much pull sucessfully anything with less than 470 movement speed(If you consumed 9 orbs), deal high damage and apply a lot of your stacks. The main disvantage of this ult is the time it takes to channel and consume all orbs. It's usually better to use it after stunning with E or stealthily from some bushes.
Tank: Can use Mages combos, but due to lack of damage you will usually want to avoid using Q and will just try to be on top of the enemy using Q's passive to stack your passive and reduce their Magic Resist and Damage, use W almost exclusively on yourself to heal/shield yourself as it won't deal much damage without AP, E will be much easier to stun if you are able to get on top of the enemy. Your Ult will also deal much less damage so you will always want to use it on top of yourself after an E stun to extend your CC duration. After level 6 your R will give you bonus resists as long as you don't use Q.

Cons:
It's a very easy to exploit champ. Your burst comes from Q. Using a full Q makes you wait a long time to get a great burst gain. Using W at the wrong time far from you removes any damage from the Q's passive and active in your lane and pretty much garantees your E will be useless as well if the enemy didn't have the 6 Inbalance stacks already. E can AoE stun but if the enemies hide behind minions you will be forced to use W(Or autos) to stack your passive, during which they can exploit your lack of Orbs around you. Your Ult also requires a fairly long channel time to be effective. Missusing ult will diminish your Q's burst.
AP Kora: Struggles vs ranged enemies if they just stay behind minions because he can't stack it's passive and stun them without having to use W. Against Divers his already game is fairly simple while they don't have damage whenever they dive you use your Q's passive to stack your passive very fast and W if necessary to survive, and then just E them and use Q again for some burst or just run away, in the late game however strong assassins will just kill you before you can stack your passive on them with Q's passive Orbs(This doesn't apply to Tank Kora).
Tank Kora: Immobilize. Unlike AP Kora your ranged damage is very low, and your main source of damage comes from your Q's passive Orbs + Your Passive while your on top of the enemies, but Kora is immobile so enemies with dashes can just dash away from your orbs. Rylai's can still help but only vs enemies without dashes. Tank Kora's main purpose is to be on top of the enemy which thanks to it's passive means if he survives enough it garantees the win, in team fights however it's conditional CC means he has a much harder job getting on top of the enemies and reducing their Damage/MR.

I just had the worst match. 85 minutes, megas since minute 40 or so. Of course they had a sniper. In the end 2 had abandoned and it was 3v5 when we lost. The worst. Is this a medusa/sniper win by sitting in base meta or am I just unlucky? Yay its over!

First of all, I apologise in advance because I guess some of these have already been suggested, or are already being worked on, but here they are: 1. PC should be able to display more pokemon stats (IVs, EVs, etc.) and we should be able to switch pages with keyboard arrows, as well as rename boxes. Also, I think PC should be mineable with a pickaxe. 2. Vitamins like iron and protein should have recipes, and also there are a lot of original game items missing (held items, running shoes, berries, nature mints, PP medicine, etc. I am begging for a macho brace please), but I'm sure devs are planning to add them, it's just a matter of time. 3. Naturally generated structures related to the pokemon universe (Gyms, pokemon centres, shops, day-care, etc.), that were poorly designed in pixelmon. Bagdes would be cool trophies to keep in your base, and maybe they could even be equipped and have different effects (feather badge reducing fall damage, water badge giving water breathing, etc.). 4. More pokemon (which I'm sure are currently being worked on), mega evolutions and dynamax forms, as well as riding and breeding pokemon, battling and trading players or NPCs. 5. Maybe some custom pokemon-related biomes? Or maybe even biomes that resemble safari zones from original games, which have biome-exclusive pokemon or pokemon forms. 6. An original, mod-exclusive, sound track (I know this is very unlikely, because of many reasons), or at least some pokemon ost background music (probably not possible because of Nintendo being an ass). 7. A lot of cool tiny features like interracting with pokemon in different ways and pokemon having unique different animations and sounds really create immersion and bring the mod to life, so I think devs should continue to work on those tiny details and use every opportunity to add more. 8. Some interractive features from original games like fishing, fossil digging and excavating, interracting with pokemon to raise their happines level. 9. TMs/HMs as well as move tutors. Being able to use some moves outside battles for chopping trees, mining, fueling furnaces or anything similar. 10. Using 2x2 saplings to make giant apricorn trees would be helpful.
I think this is a great mod that is basically expanding on everything Pixelmon has set us up with, but also fixing some of it's huge flaws. I hope community doesn't put pressure onto Cobblemon team, and I hope they know they should take as much time as they need to make well thought-through features and updates. Please don't rush it and make it as perfect as you can.

Channel Purpose

• I have always enjoyed film production and I plan to go to college for video production since I find it very enjoyable for me. I started this channel 2 - 3 years ago for fun and I still run it for fun since I enjoy this type of thing.

Self Critique

• One small critique regarding my channel is I don't know how to have an explosive start to a video, for example, my newly favorite video ("Gambling and Being Chased by a monster in a Minecraft Speedrun") does not have a good first 2 minutes and thanks to that not many get to see the rest of the video that I believe is MUCH stronger when it comes to being entertaining. Maybe its because I have too much love for my own products, I am not too sure.

Short-Term and Long-Term Goals

• Short-term goals for my channel is to see it grow this summer, my life is about to get a whole lot more serious soon and so while I have this down time I would like to see what I can achieve with this personal project.
• Long-term goals with my channel is to be satisfied completely with my works and to value the beginnings and ends equally.

Hallu! My name is Styrofoam and me and a friend were thinking of making a server that is similar to New Life SMP or rather, a server that has the same mods as New Life SMP, for people to hangout, meet new people and most importantly, have fun. We wanted to know if people were interested in this idea, before we actually start working on getting it up and running.
We already have 5 members, but I'm looking to have 10-15 people on the server.
For people that don't know, New Life SMP is a series, where creators (like Solidarity (jimmy), Inthelittlewood (martyn), Smallishbeans (joel), Dangthatsalonggame (scott), etc.) play together in a world, with a lot of mods. The mods include decorating, terrain, biome, food, creature, villager, redstone/machine stuff + origins. There is a catch though. Whenever you die, you get a new origin and you have 6 lives, so when you die, it's over. We can tweak this, so that you don't get a new origin everytime you die or that you have unlimited lives. It all depends on what the majority want.
For some practical info...
- The server is 16+
- It will be a java server on 1.19.2 with fabric
- There will be rules set in place, to avoid any griefing, unnecessary killing, etc., but also so that everybody can have a good experience, without anyone being mistreated or disrespected.
- There is definitely room for lore-based storytelling, but also building, chatting with friends and some PVP.
- The server is based in Europe/EU region. Just a factor to consider when thinking of joining.
If you want a spot reserved for you, so that you can join the server when it is done/made, please dm me on discord (Styrofoam#6680). You will be interviewed a little and if you pass, I will then send you an invite to a discord server. There will be more information there + a place to get whitelisted onto the server.

What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games or programs you will be using.
Mainly used for gaming and design related work. I use Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator for my marketing work. I also like to play a variety of multiplayer and singleplayer games such as Fortnite, Hogwarts Legacy, Call of Duty, Modded Minecraft.
I plan to get a 1440p 144hz monitor soon and would like the PC to be able to support that. I don't have much preference over Nvidia vs AMD so I will likely buy either a Freesync or G-Sync monitor based on the computer I build.

I'd like to use the Corsair 4000D Airflow Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower case. I'd also like white fans with LEDs that I can pick the color of. Other than that, I just prefer white over black but have no other preferences.

Hallu! My name is Styrofoam and me and a friend were thinking of making a server that is similar to New Life SMP or rather, a server that has the same mods as New Life SMP, for people to hangout, meet new people and most importantly, have fun. We wanted to know if people were interested in this idea, before we actually start working on getting it up and running.
We already have 5 members, but I'm looking to have 10-15 people on the server.
For people that don't know, New Life SMP is a series, where creators (like Solidarity (jimmy), Inthelittlewood (martyn), Smallishbeans (joel), Dangthatsalonggame (scott), etc.) play together in a world, with a lot of mods. The mods include decorating, terrain, biome, food, creature, villager, redstone/machine stuff + origins. There is a catch though. Whenever you die, you get a new origin and you have 6 lives, so when you die, it's over. We can tweak this, so that you don't get a new origin everytime you die or that you have unlimited lives. It all depends on what the majority want.
For some practical info...
- The server is 16+
- It will be a java server on 1.19.2 with fabric
- There will be rules set in place, to avoid any griefing, unnecessary killing, etc., but also so that everybody can have a good experience, without anyone being mistreated or disrespected.
- There is definitely room for lore-based storytelling, but also building, chatting with friends and some PVP.
- The server is based in Europe/EU region. Just a factor to consider when thinking of joining.
If you want a spot reserved for you, so that you can join the server when it is done/made, please dm me on discord (Styrofoam#6680). You will be interviewed a little and if you pass, I will then send you an invite to a discord server. There will be more information there + a place to get whitelisted onto the server.

Hello! I’m on a search for a good vanilla for layering, but I have no idea which vanilla will work best for me.
Based off recommendations on the subreddit, Kyse, NAVA, Arcana, and CocoaPink are most popular.
Kyse is closed until July at the moment, so can’t try them. I’ve heard great things about Delizia di Marshmallow and Bonbons a la Vanille!
CocoaPink is currently at a 6-9 week TAT/30-45 business days, which really sucks cause I found out I really like their Triple Vanilla Dream. It’s actually the point of this post lol, to find an alternative vanilla with faster TAT.
Arcana’s vanillas have been too sour? The only ones I’ve tried were Vanilla Craves Crescent Moons and the Candy Cane layering note has a vanilla in it. I didn’t find myself liking it because it’s very buttercream frosting and I think I want to smell more like baked/caramelized vanilla…? (Which vanilla is this by the way?)
I’ve also sampled several SS vanillas and Estate Vanilla is the same warmth as Triple Vanilla Dream but it’s just too boozy lol. I still enjoy it for it’s lasting powers but definitely pure vanilla extract.
NAVA, I genuinely have no idea how to read their accords and have tried to research the subreddit. If any of you guys have NAVA vanillas, what’s the warmest, vanilla-extract but not so boozy, delicious vanilla? I think PV3, Moonstone, and Eternal Ankh or Eternal Tut Ankh Mun would work best but I’m not sure anymore lol.
P.S. I’m a pharmacy technician for work and if anybody’s sniffed MegaRed krill oil or happens to take divalproex delayed release (vanilla scented weirdly enough,) I’d love some vanilla recommendations on those. It’s a weird request for sure haha.
