On Friday, my partner and I went decided to watch a movie at the Westfield on Market, 8:45pm show.
We were walking down market street with lots of pedestrians and we entered one of those choke points with construction equipment and fencing, plus poorly lit.
Once we were midway way, there were a group of people with tea lights in front of a dark boarded up building. They all appeared to be black though hard to see due to lighting and dark hoodies. I instantly clued in that this must be a wake for the person recently shot by the Walgreens security guard, and of course wanted to be as respectful as possible.
But as we passed through, all of the pedestrians, a lot of the people there would surround everyone (a middle aged woman with a loud voice, and a number smirking teens) and yell at us.
The lady would yell that we were being disrespectful and that we should say “excuse me” and the teens / young adults would find any possible thing they could make fun of about every person that passed and loudly shame them such as disabilities, sexual orientation, race, gender.
I’ve never seen or experienced such racist, homophobic (and everything else you could possibly imagine) vitriol in my life, and it made me sad to see that it was coming from this specific group that was supporting a specific person who happened to be LGBT themselves.
I had to carefully none of it made any sense, and the only logical conclusion was that they were looking for violence, any possible excuse to fight. Yet, I hope they didn’t get it. Us, and the diverse groups of pedestrians passing through didn’t give in, not a single word was uttered, which was surprising considering just how terrible the things they said were. (But everyone seemed terrified so that was probably it)
Did anyone else happen through there? What was your experience? I’m curious if it wrapped up without incedent I hope.

For those who saw my last post, I’d like to give a few updates 1. Yes i’m a CS student 2. I found him I was walking to my first hour class when i felt a slight breeze on my behind. I was wearing my tight adidas track pants so I don’t know how I possibly could have, so i realized he was back. This time it was in a public setting, so I knew if I looked behind me he’d be there. So that’s exactly what I did. I turned around and saw a tall, black haired, latino person standing right behind me wearing a blue t shirt. I finally stood up for myself when I told him to stop touching me there without consent because I was starting to not like it anymore. He denied this and said he “Never even touched yo stank ass” and he proceeded to try and gas light me by saying my crack was showing but I caught him red handed, why would I believe him? If you see this individual of this description please stay away.

Some of these childhood posts reminded me of a lifelong mystery that has stuck with me.
When I was a small boy I lived in an old house on a street corner in a rural part of the country back in the mountains. My bedroom was on the corner of the house on a hillside, and out of my bedside window was a street that went up the hill, and a small bit of yard between it and the window.
I vividly remember a series of reoccurring dreams over a period of years. I would awaken in the middle of the night to a bright light outside of my window, and a buzzing sound. I would be compelled to get out of bed, no matter the weather outside, and hurry out through the front door of the house. I would rush down the dozen or so front stairs and run around the side of the house towards the light. As soon as I would round the corner, the light, a blinding blue white beam, would shine on me and paralyze me, and then I would convulse and tip my head back. I would black out.
I would awaken in my bed in the morning, remembering the dream, and feel like I hadn’t slept at all. It happened many times over years until I became a teenager. It just stopped and largely faded out as remembered secret nightmare I never shared.
Fast forward ten or so years later and I had moved out as an adult. My mother and father still lived there. My mother liked to have a midnight snack and would creep into the kitchen, and stand by the kitchen window that overlooks the same road.
One night, she was there in the dark having some toast. The streetlight was casting a soft glow over the road and something caught her eye. Walking down the road from the top of the hill were two little people. They were the stereotypical little greys. She watched them calmly walk side by side, chirping like birds. As they neared, They suddenly stopped and slowly turned their heads to the window and looked at her for a moment. She was frozen with fear. They both then crouched down and began running on all fours down the hill and into the woods towards the river.
She didn’t sleep that night and couldn’t believe what she saw. In her 60s, she wasn’t interested in paranormal or supernatural things in the least. Yet, here was something in front of her. She was deeply disturbed and serious as a heart attack when she told me.
So… two odd things on that country street.

Been looking to purchase a new vehicle for a while. My search has led me to the 4th gen Mazda 3 hatch in the premium plus turbo trim. Ive done a bit of research, but was looking to see if anyone here had additional info I should have. I'm aware that some have mentioned the 4th gens have oil burning, differential issues, and tire valves releasing air unexpectedly. Anything else coming up so far for gen4? Are there any straight out of the factory issues that seem to be pretty common? I'm looking to own this vehicle for at least 7-10 years, so I'm trying to prepare myself for what issues I want to be aware of upon receiving the vehicle and those that might lie further ahead ahead.
I'm also interested in getting some light mods after I've had the vehicle for a while. Ive heard corksport has good stuff. Any other mild interioexteriofunctionality mods you'd all recommend? I'm for sure going to get some of the piano black and other parts of the interior covered in a subtle wrap to protect from scratches and scuffs.

This story is a little hard to talk about, I've talked about it once but didn't wanna get into it much but thought maybe I should start from the beginning with these 2 orbs. I was only about 11 years old at the time, I had lived down the street from 2 other kids around the same age. I had been to their house many times before and had never experienced something so vivid. But either way I'm about 11 years old and the season outside was fall, I ran down the street to see if me and my friends would be able to hang out. I reach their home and knock on the door, their parents answer and proceed to let me inside. Now for everyone wondering what the set up to this looked like I'll do my best to keep the description but this was over 10 years ago and their house was honestly a disaster. So as I entered the door I'd step into the kitchen, as I stepped through I could smell something burning, it was strong smelling never smelling it before it hit me strong. Not knowing I figured I'd just ask one of my friends, but I stopped before reaching their living room because above their kitchen table I was seeing 2 orbs circling around each. Almost as if they were in fight for control of the house or just constantly in motion but you could see them vividly as they spun around in circles at each other. I couldn't help but stare in amazement from never seeing something so interesting. So I turn through this sheet they have in the doorway of their home into the living room. Sitting on the couch were both my friends playing Halo on the Xbox. I sat near them on the couch and asked them what had been burning and they told me sage, at that time I had no idea what it was but the smell was growing on me but years later my future friend would actually tell me what sage is used for. So after a few mins of watching them play I asked what with the weird light in the kitchen? 1 is black and 1 is white, I'm trying my best to describe what I saw to them as I came inside. They look at each other and a friend says to me that it actually isn't the first time this has happened. As we are all talking about the orbs somehow they made their way through the sheet in the doorway to the living room from the kitchen. But at that point it didn't seem like they were seeing it or letting it bother them but I kept my eyes on them until it got late and I was already given permission to stay there that night. As I began to head towards the bedroom which was back through the kitchen I accidentally ran through the orbs, nothing happened at first. But about 5 mins after walking through the kitchen into my friends room I went to turn on their tv. As I went to turn it on I heard this loud snarling then bark in my ear, I turned around and my friends were still on the bed. I asked if they heard that dog bark and they responded what dog? I said come on y'all didn't hear a dog just now, like you guys didn't just bark in my ear? Again they responded but confused no we don't even own an animal, also I already knew since that wasn't my first time there but I just really needed to know. After the first bark about an hour went by before I would hear it again snarling and barking at me that night. This would happen about 3 times that night. After that night my thoughts on the paranormal have forever been open and I'm curious to know more. But that was my first experience into the paranormal. Question how would someone go about documenting these paranormal events but with little to no budget? I want to try and debunk this small ash that seems to follow me for the past 5 years and now my girlfriend is starting to see it. Any ideas from anyone?

Please be kind to me because i'm pretty young, in college. My boyfriend is the first boy i've ever met who's showed me real love and a healthy relationship. I have a mood disorder that makes me really sensitive to certain things that used to hurt me in the past. Growing up as a dark skin woman, i've heard it all. I have regained my confidence since then and I know i'm attractive. I was on his phone and saw messages about how he finds light skin women the most attractive, and how black girls have attitudes (what they usually say). It tore me apart for some reason. The message was a year ago and i had to educate him on how having a skin tone preference was a bit weird. He claimed he never remembers saying those things and how he doesn't think that way but he's said it a couple times in different messages only 7 months before we started dating and I don't know why I can't get over it. I think i'm falling out of love and I don't want to I just want to forgive him but it's like I can't. He's done everything to reassure me and I feel like i'm messing things up for myself and i'm sad. I really get disgusted by people with preferences like that even though i know it's ignorance, I never wanted to be with someone who's had those views and I just wanted to date someone who loves black women completely and uplifts them. in the dream it starts off with me and my boyfriend in the car and he’s scared and driving frantically. i’m like “what’s going on” and he’s just like “i cant explain right now.” and then all the electronics in the car starting pinging and buzzing with messages like ‘COME TO ME NOW’ ‘YOU CANNOT HIDE” and things like that. my boyfriend drives to my house (which wasn’t really my house, it was like a large corporate building but in the dream that was my house.) and he locks us in one of the rooms and he’s like “there’s a ghost that’s been wanting to have sex with me for years now.” and he’s explaining this and im just like WHAT. But to shorten this part down cuz it was pretty repetitive the ghost just chases us all around the building, and she is the stereotypical ghost girl with the green grey skin and long black hair and raggedy white dress. so me and my boyfriend run into the last room which had my mom in it, and she’s like “what’s going on why are all the lights flickering??” while we are still being berated with messages from the ghost and we explain to her and she’s scared too! so then my boyfriend and i hold each other in our arms very tightly and open the door all like “we are a couple and you wont have any way with me/ him” something really stupid like that and the ghost looks at us and moves her hair out of her face, nonchalantly going “that’s fine i’ll have sex with you both.” And typing out this dream now i feel so silly like this is a bad plot to the scary movie franchise but in my dream i was terrified and i have to admit i woke up covered in sweat and scared. i have these stages of sleep paralysis and sometimes i lucid dream and i really dislike it so i tend to not like sleeping, so if someone could try to interpret this (lol) and tell me if this is something to worry about or if they think my mind was just being very active last night that would be much appreciated!
