My best friend and I talked about this last night and they mentioned things that I had forgotten, probably as a trauma response. I get so angry that he has found success when he deserves nothing. I was young at the time of dating him and didn’t know how much he harmed me at the time. To start, I was 14 when I met him online. He was a little older, I think 16. When he turned 18, he told me he wanted to move to the same state as me and go to school. At the time I didn’t think it could happen, but sure enough he got accepted into a school 10 minutes from my house. He moved from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania with his entire family, including his schizophrenic father. Over the course of the first two years he was here his father would go on tangents about mass murder in front of me. I was horrified and I think this was the point I realized I made a mistake. Before I knew it, my ex (we will call him R), was describing in graphic detail how he planned to murder his father. I remember one time in specific where we went for a walk at a lake and he said “I wonder how many dead people are in this lake. Bet no one will ever find them.” When I turned 18, I started to make friends my age, who naturally wanted to party and have a good time. This was when the first set of “rules” were put into place. I wasn’t allowed to go out without him and I would never be allowed to drink alcohol or smoke marijuana in my life. If I chose to do so, he would retaliate against me. I had not intended to drink prior to 21, but he quickly informed me I would NEVER be allowed to. I mentioned that I had planned a trip to Las Vegas for my 21st (at this point, it was very far away) and he told me I would not be going. I agreed and let him convince me that it was for my own good. When I turned 21, my best friend, G, had came from where they now lived to visit. G warned R ahead of time that he smokes marijuana for anxiety (legal in his state) and planned to bring me some to help me with mine. R lost it and told me if I participated I would be “punished”. I ended up trying it, which resulted in him screaming at me in a hotel lobby and threatening to turn me into the police. My friend immediately began worrying about my safety and told me I needed to leave. Naturally, I ignored it. Then it got really bad. I discovered he was talking to a girl behind my back and was actively making plans to meet up with her for sex. She messaged me to tell me it was happening and promised me she didn’t know he was in a relationship. When I brought it to him, he told me he could not show me their chat because his phone “factory reset” and erased it, but he never tried to arrange their meet up. I told him that I knew what he was doing and he shoved me for the first time. Naturally, I kept quite and never told anyone. Overtime it progressed, until eventually he thrown me to the floor in my parents house and stood over top of me as I tried to stop him from killing his dad. For a moment I thought “this is when he kills me”. He raised his hand to me and stopped before bringing it down on me. To this day I will never know if he would have if my parents weren’t there. Finally he admitted to me he thought he was a psychopath. I didn’t know what to say, so I just asked him if he even loved me, as psychopaths typically aren’t capable of love. He said “I don’t know. Probably not”. That was the point that I planned my exit. I started seeing him less, which must have triggered something in him. Our entire relationship I remained a virgin. We had agreed to wait until marriage, though I do not personally hold that sentiment, it was a conservative belief of his. He bought me a “plan B” pill and told me that I owed him my virginity for staying with me. He came to my house unannounced (he stood in bushes near my house until I got home and followed me inside) and told me that I would be giving it to him. I was scared and I let him abuse me. Right as he was intending to complete the action, I told him no and I was not allowing him to go through with it. I don’t remember anything else about that night, but my friend recalls me calling afterwards crying saying that he had attempted to force me and was unsuccessful. He stormed out of my house and I thought I would never see him again. This was around the time I made a new friend. My friend and I were hanging out when I got a call from R’s dad telling me that R went missing and it was my fault, so I needed to help find him. I left my friend and immediately went looking with my mom. While we were out searching, I got a call to my cell phone from my grandparents home phone. It was R. He told me that I needed to go there “right now”. The ominous tone and the fact he has explicitly told me how he would kill people horrified me. We rushed there to find him sobbing on the couch. I didn’t know what to do and to this day I can’t help but to think that he was going to kill my grandmother and couldn’t go through with it. Eventually, we got him to leave with his dad and I never saw him again. What followed was text messages depicting how he would beat his parents with bats, trying to guilt me into meeting up with him and having sex, and other things of that nature. The last time we talked before I blocked him, he told me that he quit his job and threw knives at the workers, calling the homosexual manager he had a derogatory name and walked out. Skip to now, he is a big name in the Prog metal scene. A lot of my friends know who he is and love him and his music. I have friends that worship him not knowing what he had done. He told them all I cheated on him and treated him poorly, and says this to a lot of people he meets. I suppressed so much of it for so long. I want to come clean to everyone, but I know it would destroy Rs reputation and potentially result in him coming after me to harm me. He stole close to $5,000 of music gear bought for mutual use that he was supposed to give me half of (I bought it all, but didn’t want to enforce it and get injured.) I still live in a degree of fear of him as he knows everything about my family still. I just needed to vent after someone told me he was working with a member of the band “Of mice and men” and asked me if I regretted ending the relationship. He is a horrible person and deserves nothing. I hate that everyone he meets thinks that I am the bad guy when he abused me over the course of most of my youth and I just needed to talk about it.

I noticed a couple of things during the battle that I thought were neat nods to the lore, primarily for the Elder Scrolls because I'm not nearly knowledgeable enough to comment on those.

If I understood correctly what someone explained to me, the Age of Dark refers to an age of humanity in its true state, with the world being shrouded in darkness free of time and whatnot. This highlights the conflicting nature of the Dragonborn I've been noting here, with him being a fragment of both AKA and LKHN; on one hand he recreates a lot of moments through which LKHN suffered but on the other he seeks the stasis and a return the primordial state of the world before the convention.

Before the Convention, there was no linear time in the universe and this period was called the Dawn Era. The ehlnofey were the spirits of all mortal beings before they were bound to Mundus; there are many different interpretations as to why LKHN made Mundus but the Dunmeri version of events (important because theirs are allegedly backed by knowledge coming from a couple of Daedric princes who were present at this time and also Vivec) claims that Mundus exists as a sort of testing ground so that a spirit would eventually emerge from the constant hardships and 'replace' (not really but this is the easiest explanation) the uncaring Godhead

The voice at the end seemingly went mad and did a 180 on its allegiance; I don't believe an enantiomorph occured here but there are elements which indicate it might have happened (The Chosen Undead being 'The King', Dragonborn 'The Rebel' and the voice acting as 'The Observer', shrouding the world in darkness probably qualifies for the blinding part required for an enantiomorph)

Enantiomorphs occur when two opposing forces are so similar that their places could be switched and nothing would change; there are 3 actors required for one to happen:
'The Rebel, The King and The Observer, the action that is carried out in a performance is that the rebel reigns the king, who has previously ruled a domain in which the rebel is involved and usurped them. The third participant, the observer, is either severely injured or killed in the course of this process. If this action is carried out, the king becomes the new rebel, while the rebel is henceforth king.'
In this case, the battle takes places at Gwyn's arena after the Chosen Undead has defeated him, Dragonborn approaches him with the intent of ending the Age of Fire and the Voice is presumably watching this whole thing

Episode 6
Back in the woods just west of Cincinnati in a dilapidated barn, Ridgemont and his supervisor, Harlan Brooks, were surveying the area to put signs to indicate the rural and largely undisturbed nowhere they stood was to become the path of a major railway.
In the frenzied gnats and baking sun beside an old rusting Ford F-250 just under the cover of the barn. On the back window, a sticker still visible that read “I will NOT worship your DEIty,” they had stopped for a break before they headed back to their state vehicle parked off the main road.
Brooks was a hard-working man who had been in the same department – installing wayfinding signs for the state – going on almost 23 years. He was a simple man, easy going…always on time and rarely took any sort of extended vacations.
“You do gotta be careful,” he explained to Ridgemont. “This can be a dangerous job. We’re lifting up a ten foot square of sheet metal – something happens…it ain’t secure or something…you’re lookin at a giant guillotine.”
“Has anything ever happened?” Ridgemont asked him.
“I seen it one time,” Brooks began. “About 15 years ago, we were up over just north of Cincinnati, below Clifton puttin up a new exit ramp sign. I hadn’t quite made supervisor yet, I was still on crew. This particular day we had a community service group putting in their hours they had assigned to us. And in our group, we had a new guy, about 22 years old, named Alberto. Two of the community service walk-ons were up in the bucket getting it secured to the frame and Alberto went underneath to get a look at how it was lining up. Well one of them in the bucket thought the other one had it bolted on already and they let it go and it fell straight down through Alberto’s neck and out his torso…it cut him in half, pool fella. I almost quit. One of the worst sights I ever seen.”
“Wow,” said Ridgemont, obviously unphased.
“So 2 warnings,” said Brooks, “don’t stand under no signs and we always do a triple check to make sure it’s bolted on tight before anyone lets it go.”
Ridgemont looked out into the woods, “So where’s this rail going?” he asked.
“As far as we’re concerned, to the river,” he said. “But I think it’s supposed to go down to Wichita.”
“How many signs do we need to do for this one?” Ridgemont asked.
“Says 6 from downtown Cincinnati to the river at Delhi Hills – then the Kentucky crew will take it from there. Typically we’ll get our order form for the week, usually about 50 -60 new signs, change-outs, inspections…and when we’re done with those – we’re done for the week. So we can usually finish up by Thursday – a 4 day work week. Not bad, you know.”
“Yeah,” Ridgemont said…”not bad.”
Vance Owens stood inside the Kentucky state capitol building, speaking into what was known as the media box – dubbed ‘the meadow’. It was a virtual reality room in which anyone or podcaster or syndicate could pull the feed and comment, ask questions. The senator was providing commentary on the developing space program and the new discovery of an Earth-like planet found orbiting the star, Alkaid in the Ursa Major constellation.
“Kentucky – particularly Mayfield – is committed to being a central hub and accommodating location for the pursuant space program and new efforts to reach the stars,” he said. “We are right off the Ohio River, feeding into the Mississippi. We are at a geographic location that isn’t light-polluted and Kentuckians are ready to take on this challenge and take this generation into distant reaches of the galaxy.”
Someone in the VR indicated via light that she had a question.
Owens pointed over, acknowledging.
“Thank you, Senator Owens. Recent talks have definitely gotten people talking and this all seems very ambitious. Given that the CIRN Federation is the leader in space exploration and these announcements around coming on the heels of their admittedly, now-failed ten year colonization efforts of Mars, what kinds of resistance do you expect for America 2 to pursue a mission lightyears away?” asked the woman.
“Well I think that’s a valid and grounded skepticism to hold,” he answered. “And I understand this is an uphill battle to gain public trust in the mission and we will need all 5 American sektors on board – but I have seen the science and new technology behind what might be possible and I want Kentucky to be at the forefront of this – that’s a gamble I’m ready to take.”
It was about 8PM when Ridgemont and Madame Tandoori arrived at the little studio of Ron Rosen. It was a converted upstairs bedroom of a fairly unimpressive house in north Cincinnati. Rosen had a sizeable following – but that didn’t translate to wealth. He made above the universal basic income, but no enough to be extravagant. Most of the people who hung around his house just used drugs, wasting away.
The pair walked up to Rosen’s upstairs studio and took a seat. The lottery numbers would be called at 9PM and Rosen would compare with the numbers Madame Tandoori had chosen the night before. The hour leading up to the drawing was spent with Rosen veiled insulting the pair and other jokes at their expense as the room of his ‘yes men’ types laughed.
It was 8:55 and Rosen shifted his conversation but maintained his tone of Ridgemont and Madame Tandoori being the butt of his jokes, “Alright, it’s about the moment we’ve all been waiting for…they’re about to call the lottery numbers in 5 minutes. And so last night, I asked you to put your powers to the test, and you filled out a six-numbered lottery ticket, the Cold Cash Slamma Jamma and we will reveal here, in real time how you did,” he said with inflections of cynicism.
He turned in his seat and opened a vault with a sealed envelope and asked one of his co-hosts to open them and hand the ticket to Madame Tandoori. Rosen had been insulting her all evening long and this was to be the climax of the show in which he would completely humiliate her.
“And before they call this, I want to let be known, I am so confident in this that I found a casino to take this bet at massive odds and I put down $30,000 betting you would not get any more than 3 numbers correct – and I only gave you that allowance in the event of random dumb luck. But that’s how confident I am that you are a fraud,” he said.
“Wow,” she said, unphased and looked over at Ridgemont. “I’ll tell you what, I don’t want you to walk away empty-handed, so when I win, you can have half the ticket.”
They all laughed. He asked one of his co-hosts what the winning jackpot prize was, and it was $2.63 billion.
“So it’s a win-win,” Rosen said. “Either way lads, we’re gonna be moving into a much nicer studio, better house…”
The lottery came up and the numbers began coming up and they were; 45-19-18-02-37-20.
Rosen looked up and said, “Okay, so 2, 18,19,20, 37, 45…as if the odds weren’t bad enough, but the odds of 3 consecutive numbers like that? 18,19,20….but let’s get to the main course…Madame Tandoori…please reveal your ticket to the us and 44 million other people watching around the world right now.”
She looked at Ridgemont and they grinned at each other. She held up the ticket and it read, 02, 18,19,20,37,45.
Rosen’s crew erupted. Rosen went pale, stunned and then flush red in the face, terrified. “That’s impossible,” he uttered.
He looked around and back at her, “Well, at least I get half!”
She looked at him and said, “Yep, I’m a woman of my word, here is your half,” and she ripped the ticket in half and gave it to him and ate her half.
The room was split between people shocked and people screaming.
“You sick bitch!” Rosen screamed at her. “Shut down the stream!” he yelled. “You two are dead!” He was slamming his fist on the table.
He jumped up to lunge at Madame Tandoori and as he was charging toward her he stopped and grabbed his head, screaming. His eyes rolled back into his head and his mouth agape and tongue hanging out. His arms, wrists, fingers and legs were locking and spasming and he fell to the ground. Madame Tandoori watched and looked back at Ridgemont, who sat there stone expressionless watching Rosen convulse on the ground.
One of the guys in the room got up and started charging toward Ridgemont, “What the fuck did you do??!”
As he was about to shove Ridgemont with his massive arms, he stopped and grabbed his chest, gasping for breath and collapsed.
Just outside the home studio of Ron Rosen, in a nice vehicle, sat Daphne Chambers. She looked up to the window of the studio and Madame Tandoori walked up to the window and looked outside at her and they looked one another in the eyes.
“We’ve got enough room for one more,” Madame Tandoori told her through their minds.
Daphne started the car and drove off.

All this nonsense was after I'm started as soon as I left my country (Russia). It wasn’t really a day like I wake up and this started. It was slightly getting worse for 7 months. I got sick in Armenia, with god know what, and I wasn’t suspecting Covid at that time. after 1 round of antibiotics, I thought I'm fine. I was in the rush to help myself to heal, as I’m coming to Mexico in 2 weeks. Then suddenly all my hotels started to decline in like 2 weeks to head to OAE. 1 week in UAE was fine, I was with my brother, but we started to argue like crazy, because he got the tournament in sports in active mode, and seems like he didnt wanted to spend time with me. We was living separately, because first agreed to live in the hotel my Mom booked for me, but it’s has been declined, so he switched to his BJJ team option, and was living with them. So I booked super expensive hotel because it was F1 started in abu - Dhabi. No way I have this bad luck bro…and all hotels was stuffed with tourists. End up sleeping in a small room no windows god know who’s been there, not a safely sterile place to be. I was mad at my brother and never talked to him again for a 2 months until I’m back to hometown. Out there started noticing that I’m tolerate to Arabic smells. It was strange but I just let it go cuz I have bigger thing on my check list. I was feeling like I’m not completely come off this condition as it was in Armenia. But I let it go. Then suddenly on my departure day, the guard don’t let me go to the flight on Abu - Dhabi - Paris - Cancun flight, out of nowhere, because I have Russian docs leaving Armenia territory? I started noticed something is ain’t right with my Carma or something. I’m flying to Turkey to fly from there. I’m already was feeling exhausted from that day. And I think it’s the virus started to kick in as cytokine storm. Successfully departured and dropped in Cancun. Migracion control don’t let me go out for 30 minutes (only in my case), all of the passengers entered In the country with no issues. 3 days in was very beautiful! Breathing good, no issues. Swimming in ocean, USA on the way, life is great and full of opportunities. Then this wild sh with sinusitis happend, 37,7 temperature for a whole month, really crazy breathing pattern? I thought I’m having asthma as I’m in new side of world? No. Moved to matamoris, I was also been finnesed 3 times while in Mexico. Why me? Body itching, brain fog started. I was the only one who was waited THAT long to cross the border (I was with the church method, it’s paid, and usually they let u cross in 1-2 week). I was waiting 1,5 month. Then stomach problems, then can't tolerate any high in histamine food. I’m guessing at that time i was having pneumonia but it was unnoticed. When I was crossing the border man… let me tell that…. I was SICK. I was red, temperature 38, cough started. While in USA, owners kicked me out of rented apartments multiple times out of no where… then I went to ER and they find pneumothorax with pleuritis out of nowhere… 4 times in ER… then somebody try to snatch me and human trafficked me. What’s that all about? Got luck to be alive and dropped on the Irvine highway. many doctors… run out of money… flight back to Russia without of doubts. My body betrayed me and my plans. Somebody playing with my soul and I have no Luck living as an immigrant, near to death experience. In my hometown, all the tests came back normal. I’m out of mind thinking I’m tweaking cuz of that. Ct scans of lungs - but without contrast - clean. Ultrasound of the heart clean, thyroid clean, ECG clean, visits to gastroenterologist - same pills, same treatment that don’t work.. PPI f up my stomach even more. except for spirometry, it was awful like I have COPD pattern?! 63% of the lung capacity. Constricted airways? Pulmonologist didn’t say nothing at all. My cognitive functions seems disappeared, I can’t remember things, slurping my words, can’t thinks of multiple thing of one time, I’m hearing sounds ridiculously weird, like they on the foreground, my movement not stable, I’m not feeling time at all, like I’m an alien. I can’t breathe. Like I’m breathing continuously in brochoconstriction. My chest is tight and I’m out of breath and have crazy dyspnea walking place to place. Still walking 5 km a days and don’t wanna be a sick dude. I do it, my principals don’t let me be bed bounded. Even some days I bed bounded like crazy. That's crazy cuz I was thinking I had lung cancer. Still do sometimes. But later I catch on, thats a LONG COVID. Tried COPD inhalers and whole lotta asthmatic stuff, only improvement cuz of COPD inhaler. Spirometry slightly improved in 3 month. But right now I'm still feeling like I can't breathe normal, like it’s in spasm all the time, even vapes with nicotine… the nicotine not even absorbing in mu lungs? Just tried it tho. like I’m not connected to this universe, I can’t feel my body, I’m starting to have suicidal thoughs. I tried antidepressants, almost 2 months slightly improved my fatigue and miserableness. feels like my bronchi constricted all the time, I can’t even control it.. I look like a completely healthy person to people and they don’t know what’s wrong with me. Either I have COPD because of COVID (I don't cough at all) or I have lung embolism (never did a CT with constrast). Or somebody f… me up and I got demons or whatever., month of arguing with my pulmonologist, now he's done referred me to it. I also have POTS, MCAS. feeling like I'm high all the time. Also GERD just pissing me off, it's so annoying. I never the same as way back…. On my treatment plan is basic supplements like vitamin D,C, Magnesium, Antihistamines 3 times a week, I theanine + glutamine (very helping me with flare ups and I can even drink coffee without feeling V stoopid and brain fog), NMD, trying nattokinase for the first time (got a slight flare up for about 2-3 hours, then feeling okay, I can breathe more), and I'm waiting for ivermectin and oregano oil pills. But what help me the most, it’s the masseur who did something with energy … 4 days in a row now I feel like my consciousness get back to me! But not 100%. Still can’t breathe tho.
What do I do? I hate me for this mistake! to leave my country as a 100% healthy educational kid with a purpose and motivation > only to spend like 40 racks and catch a deadly autoimmune disease, to be miserable and only research what’s wrong with me on daily basis. Help.

I met who I thought was my twin flame in the summer of 2015. We had a very turbulent and psychologically abusive off and on relationship that I ultimately physically ran far away from. Over the next few years him and I went back and forth but eventually he went completely no contact and I was in a consistent state of confusion with little to no understanding on or closure of what had actually happened. This lead to many attempts against my life, one permanently disfiguring me, and psychiatric hospital stays. I ultimately went back to get answers and found real answers from the most unexpected person that personally knew the man I felt was my twin flame. And through this, and a lot of listening to my intuition and guidance from the universe, I ultimately decided twin flame or not, he was hurting me and was not nearly where I thought he was when it came to his level of healing or the way he saw me. Only days later, I met a man who I had an even stronger and instant connection with, through a mutual friend, and we both agreed the connection we felt was like nothing either of us had ever experienced. So this caused me to question if the man I had met nearly 8 years ago was my twin flame or not and that is when I discovered false flames. Linked is the article that helped me the most in differentiating the two. I’ve now let go of my false flame and am in union with my twin flame. We both agree that we are willing to go through hell as long as we have each other. I hope that this will help at least one other person on this journey, because seeing how many people show signs of being stuck in exactly what I was, is the reason why I am trying to share my personal story to 3D twin flame union, as well as allow others to share about their journeys regardless of what uncomfortable topics or experiences that may involve. False vs Real Twin Flame

On the 4th of February 1990, a body was discovered in Deptford Township. It was found in what was then a wooded area, between the Pathmark Supermarket (Now the Edge Fitness Clubs Gym) and The Club at Locust Grove Housing Department on Clement's Bridge Road in Deptford Township, New Jersey. Apparently the location was littered with car parts.
Her remains were skeletal and incomplete. According to NAMUS, she was missing "one or more limbs" and "one or more hands." There were sweatpants tied around her neck, and her cause of death is believed to be ligature strangulation.
She is believed to have been between 16 - 20 years old and to have been dead for 1 to 2 years before her discovery, placing her time of death around 1988-1989.
It was determined that she was between 5'5 - 5'8 (165cm - 172cm) and 120 - 145lbs (54.4 - 65.7kg). She was white, with medium to dark brown hair, misaligned teeth (several of which had silver fillings), a crooked philtrum (the groove between the base of the nose and the upper lip) and a nasal septum deviation to the right. According to a newspaper from the time, she also had an overbite.
Several pieces of jewelry were found with the body, and multiple items of clothing were found inside the sweatpants around her neck. The jewelry includes a 14k gold horseshoe earring with a spiral pattern, a yellow/gold ball earring and a 16'' faux pearl bead necklace. The clothing inside the medium sized, Tultex branded sweatpants were a pair of Nylon pantyhose, a mid-length sock and a knee-length nylon stocking.
No fingerprints were found, however DNA, dental charts and dental X-rays are available according to the New Jersey State Police. The full DNA profile was uploaded to the Federal Combined DNA Index System (CODIS) in 2008.
The National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children reached out to investigators in 2020 asking if they could review the case, and investigators are also working with the University of North Texas Center for Human Identification in an effort to use genealogy to identify the victim.
The current theory from law enforcement is that she was a runaway from a different area, as "she would have been identified by now if she was from the area." The fact she was found in an area near the New Jersey Turnpike and Route 55 seems to support this theory.
According to unidentified-awareness 10 women have been ruled out as possible matches. They don't list them on the site, however I was only able to find 4.

Tracy Kroh, disappeared from Millersburg, Pennsylvania on August 5th 1989
Alicia Markovich, disappeared from Blairsville, Pennsylvania on April 26th 1987

this is a prototype Yugen Glyph (hunt for my previous post lol or my medium article here ). Magic is not yet ready, this is just a prototype for capturing full concepts, I think instead of making it it's own language, it should act as a wrapper for all existing languages.
Put numbers where the text in the example is, put that numbered up version of the graph, on the front page of a document or sub-document, and then use bulleted paragraphs, or bulleted hyperlinks to parallel documents, and in each paragraph or parallel document: be as detailed or vague as is your accurate impression of the subject.
for example someone who really loves mathematics, will have a very detailed and huge document tree centered around this graph about their impression of math, and what is the opposite of math? for some folks the opposite is literal Nothingness with a capital N because math is Everything with a capital E. For others, the opposite of math is social studies, or art (people who think math and art are opposites, I mean I'd like to have a word with them, and would like to impress upon you that I think they are WRONG!! because perspective and symmetry and even the chemistry of the optics of our perceptions and neurochemistry of our impressions- all of art, is just layers... and layers... of math, but at the same time I feel why they may be misguided into that perception, because math not as a subject but as discipline is rather rigid whereas art is like Bob Ross' TV persona, it embraces mistakes as a part of the process whereas math as a discipline sternly rejects them! but math the subject and math the discipline are two different animals, math the subject is just pattern recognition and construction taken into the furthest reaches of human capacity as an elevated artform. so math the discipline is a bit like professor Snape from Terfy/Harry Potter, math the subject is a friggin kaleidoscopic rainbow of infinite imagination and possibilities, math professors create worlds with the best of em man. Doesn't matter if you believe in it or not, because the it as it was perceived may not exist, whilst at the same time (and read this maybe a few times) the it as a perception is irrefutable.
Peoples WRONG >-( feelings are still valid man... I mean you may think drinking your own pee kept you hydrated in the desert and drinking alcohol kept you warm in the tundra, you'd be oh so very wrong (to the point of nearly killing yourself) but that comfort you felt when you thought you were surviving in the wilderness like a pro, that was real, the way misinformation was munched on by your brain like it was the good stuff, that was also very real and you, yourself are valid no matter what.
Like what is reality? that's a linguistic question more than a scientific one.
If you define it as what is felt to be real, then hey, people who remember shit vividly, even when it's factually incorrect, like how myself among many others remember the Bearenstein Bears, whom according to all outside stimuli I generally trust, were actually historically always the Bearenstain Bears, and likely because of the cartoon introduction pronouncing it with a thick accent, and me reading them when my trained mental optical character recognition skills for the english language were at a fledging capacity because I was very very VERY young, my ears hear the woman with the thick accent call them Bearenstein, my eyes were not yet trained to strongly discriminate between "a" and "e". I can safely conclude I remembered it wrong and was the victim of multimodal confusion.
However a good deal of people have come to a much cooler set of conclusions; ready?!
They believe that either A) they are from a parallel history that was destroyed by something and their souls migrated here; B) that a bunch of very skilled book ninjas replaced every book with an identically weathered copy of itself except for small changes to the print, or C) that God did like the ninjas in the previous example did, and either physically changed history but left some of us with a spiritual memory of our alternate history for whatever reason, or to the same effect God just did as the ninjas in the previous example did and used God power to rearrange the ink on every page of the books.
Hey those conclusions are wild, and sometimes when I'm feeling fanciful I do indeed like to imagine or even convince myself I am from a parallel earth where minor details about things are definitely different because I remember them "wrongly" so vividly, it would be MORE fair of a world if my memory was flawless and thus proof that I am a world wrangler of some kind. I don't believe that. that's not my reality.
But that's my point, from an evidentiary perspective trying to prove you are from a parallel universe is like trying help Sisyphus take a break, or trying to reconstruct the 'original' ship of Theseus even whilst the ship is still arguably here. it's not impossible per se, but what does it even mean man? is it even possible? does it even make sense to say outloud? ...or is it just some gnome chopsky meaninful gibberish type stuff?
mind-blown... but whilst they might not be from a alternate universe, because that would imply that evidentiarily there would be some kind of coordinate to visit where they come from... is it really wrong to say they're from an alternate reality? I'd argue no, reality is a word that linguists bitch about, because in English we use the same word and spread it over a couple of separate concepts, the physical present as the arithmetic mean of measurers' consensus has it, and then present internal personal experience. both are reality.
I mean if you stick something friggin cold on my skin, I might experience an internal reality of paradoxical heat, whilst someone peeping through a thermal imaging cam would experience a physical external measurement of me being exposed to extreme cold.
which one is "true"?
well for us, "us" the cold is true, but for me, myself, I, alone; the hot was what I felt most vividly, that's "my truth" as the south of the USA annoyingly puts it. (the idea that truth isn't singular still annoys me).
(TRUTH is singular, but I'd argue TRUTH is also beyond the perceptual capacity of mortals)
we don't converge on truth we converge on measurable contemporary consensus about our perceived external reality, which as luck would have it is practically the same as truth but slightly different. We'll never know if the universal constants we take for granted are just one click away from some cosmic teenager tweaking a couple setting on their screensaver and erasing us from existence, and since we can't measure this cosmic teenager, we don't bother about them, but hey, maybe someday they'll get bored of their current screensaver, we'll all just kind of disintegrate like when Thanos Snapped in the Marvel End Game event.
Just minding our own business and then atoms all over the world turn to jelly when exposed to sunlight or something. not likely according to what we know, but we know we can't know everything, so just be grateful it isn't our current reality and continue taking thing for what they appear to be for now I guess.
As for internal reality, that's what's driving me to write this. that's what drove you here for whatever reason. we have more direct contact with internal reality, external reality is just some consistent pattern pattern we or you or I feel internally as if we have less control over it than we do over our thoughts, so it feels external, whether or not reality warpers that can bend reality just as easily as you can choose to compose a naughty joke in your head exist, that's a matter for science fiction writers and philosophers and fringe bio-physics researchers.
And subtractively some people have more intrusive thoughts than controlled thoughts, some people have and other people don't have inner voices; some people have high resolution internal imaging software for pictures and sounds that they vividly hallucinate at will, other people have very delicate and subtle to no imagination capacity, if we can subtract from inner reality it makes sense to imagine that adding to it is not out of the question.
is control and perception of your limbs inner reality? yes, but does it have some small interference effect on this external reality we feel exposed to... (rather than as familiar with as a bodily or mental sensation) ...sometimes, not if you're percieving the movement of a severed or paralyzed limb though.
what about dreams, they can feel just as external as the waking world, but with this weird capacity to exist on a scale of externality to internality, a lucid dream, is basically what the external world would be like if your thoughts could reshape it at will. I find that depressing, so maybe my soul if you believe in that sort of thing cordoned off its godlike powers to enter a simulation (this place) willing so that it could feel the comfort of a world that is managed by relatively firm seeming laws, rather than one where my intrusive thoughts might erase things from history or change the people I love without their consent, maybe this "external"/"physical" universe is like a mental hospital for reality warpers who have intrusive thoughts, and we belong to some hive mind species from an external universe, but we're in therapy right now, to learn to tell the difference between concepts that are important to our ilk, and or to just be allowed to safely be ourselves without accidentally committing super powered crimes against our ilk unintentionally.
for most people under most circumstances in this world a thought does not immediately cause an action, our mind subconsciously proposes several possible actions and we analyze them come to a few conclusions pit those conclusions against eachother, and then let the winner lead us to the most victorious action/behavior chain, and then immediately after doing all of that subconsciously we become consciously aware of our behaviors, make up some random likely rationale for why we chose those behaviors, and then we sit back and enjoy the show as the consequences of our conscious and subconscious choices roll in, which we consciously and subconsciously react to and mull over to lead to hopefully better decisions in the future, or atleast that's my understanding of the gist of it.
now what if that whole automatic suggestion of possible actions we could take, which we you know, think of as a good thing, is actually a mental illness in some culture we don't know we belong to, and when combined with our mental reflexive power to warp reality, makes us basically their cultures version of violently reactive psychopaths, but because they can read minds they don't harbor ill will towards us, they just know we're not put together correctly, so they've made us a new type of external reality that neutralizes our bad nature and allows us to live with this incurable mental illness in a safe environment with the opportunity to seize happy lives for ourselves?
If our minds were wiped after the simulation box was activated around us, I mean it's just a scifi twist on the allegory of the cave, and the matrix did pretty much it similarly.
but what this does illustrate besides my urge to do creative writing, is that internal and external reality are separated by a fuzzy line, if there's even a line there at all.
Yet whilst on one hand the boundary is so ill defined it looks more like a continuum.
On the other hand the boundary is night and day.
I don't live in your fricken head, and if you live in mine you've been really respectful cos I haven't noticed ya.
and people get hurt because the way they think things works is proven wrong the hard way and it sends them to the hospital all the time.

because guess what, weirdly it's obvious what's part of your reality and what's part of our reality, until you try to give a fuck, then it's nonobvious again.
circling back around, are people whom genuinely feel as though they are from alternate realities crazy? maybe.
Are they actually experiencing what it is like to be from an alternate reality? yes, absolutely, they know how strange it feels, to them it is real, their experience is valid, and their feelings matter!!
No I speculated about meta-realities a couple times here (realities that are outside "the matrix" as the kids say). but I haven't like vividly experienced a meta-reality, infact most people want "out" I want in deeper, I'm a gamer and a dreamer, I want more of the good stuff, and for me that's a machine of my own making within the machine we all call home, If I were Plato in the cave, and I escaped my shackles, I'd go spelunking for a deeper cave and a better fire, I wouldn't worry about what the sun was on about or how fresh feels superior to grimey cave air, I'd be ALL about my shadow puppets man, and differently colored fires, pretty much the only way that I'd be bothered to leave the cave, would be to get supplies to pimp out my cave. That's just my perception of myself, and it's valid.

If you are in a dark place, and want to kill yourself to fix it, I find that to be a kind of paradoxical optimism. you really think that it'll be better on the outside? when has anyone ever said, "man I am so glad I have to go to work and stop playing my favorite videogame." NEVER (unless they meant in hindsight because they met their future romantic partner during an otherwise normal work day, but aside from uncommon exceptions nobody says that!) life is a game, you're stuck on a hard part right now, don't press the quit button, because the haters are invading, and the world needs more good people like you alive in it, so that other good people can live comfortable lives, and possible share that happiness with you down the road once they find out what a cool person you are!!
Now that I've gotten the "who knows what's out" the "are they really crazy" and the "please don't commit suicide willy nilly" out of the way, let's get back to wrapping things up, this is a quasi-conlang, it's like a framework that any written language can squeeze into to augment itself.
It's a graph that you can put pictures numbers petroglyphs or ideograms on, whatever is your speed.
If you write really small you can fit all of the information on the graph and then just use A FRIGGIN MAGNIFYING GLASS (or microscope honestly) to read back what you wrote to yourself, alternatively you can make citations that lead elsewhere wherehaps there is more writing space :-)
then you fill out the glyph with your maximum literary capacity, take a break, comeback, read everything again and internalize it and mentally partition it to each aspect of the Yugen Glyph, then you stand back and look at the Yugen Glyph one last time fully appreciating it by picturing all of the aspects of this particular version of the glyph, in simultaneity and symmetric juxtaposition. this isn't just the concept in some idealized platonic form, this is much much cooler than that; it's your inner world's platonic atomic unit of that concept, albeit, you're now able to reflect and express full perception that your past self had...
....and sadly as a state cannot fully observe itself without changing and thus getting caught in one of those nasty infinite polymorphic loops, the moment you fill this graph out in whatever languages of your choice... (I'm gonna mix english with my emoglyphs with this graph/wrapper because english is my native language and my emoglyphs depict other important aspects of the inner reality in great detail) ...is the moment you confront this concept in its truest form as you are currently capable of perceiving it. Some things like to change the moment you observe them. You may go, "oh wait I can add more details now..." or "oh wait, it suddenly feels different to me now that I've gotten a good look at the way I'm looking at it". and that's okay, this sort of pulls the concept out of your body.
I forgot whether it was Sophie's world (a book I read a long time ago) or an actual philosopher who gave this example, but basically rivers are always flowing, their only constant is change, humans are much the same way. When a person is standing in a river they are in sync with the river they are closely acquainted with this river, they are one with the flow and the flow has become one with them. Then when that same person steps out of the river to go dry off and get a snack, they are obviously no longer one, but when that person eventually comes back to that river, even if they stand in the same map coordinate as before, them and the river have to get reacquainted, as they have fallen out of sync, it's a new river, there are new grains of sand under this person's feet, and this person isn't quiet as young as the last person, even if they are technically "the same person" according to the memory and experiences of this new person.
These concepts are like people standing in the river of your mind, and my Yugen Glyph is like some mystical force that can eject them from you, so that you can get reacquainted with them in your own right, or distribute them to other rivers to help you propagate and introduce some concepts native to you into the public zeitgeist.
Some of these concepts are like people who have entered you by force and then become one with your flow, others are like the local wildlife that has been a part of your flow in a flowing away eversince your flow first formed, either way the intent of these Yugen Glyphs is to empower you to control the ecosystem of your flow and the flows around you better, because everything is connected and power of concepts is itself a powerful concept.

Hi All, I (31M) am analyzing various events from my last short term relationship. I am not sure if should call it relationship as we were not official, but we were exclusively dating, having sex and meeting for over 3 months. I am now reading a lot about attachment types plus other stuff and thinking if that girl (28F) was a narc or having at least those traits. If what I am describing below constitutes triangulation or not?
I am not going here to list all the major red flags, as that would be a longer post I will maybe write some day later. Also myself I was not crystal, I also made errors (lied to her about my body count as I was afraid of losing her - I was a virgin), ignored red flags etc. In short, we met 2 weeks after she broke up with her boyfriend. They spent 2 and half year together.
After 3 and half month of spending together every other weekend, I had a bachelor party of my friend so I could not visit her on that weekend (it was long distance, so it was either me visiting her or vice versa) Anyway, I went for the party with my friends. Before the party she asked for photos, and asked again how are we doing, during the night. I sent her few photos of me and my friends, having good time, to which she replied with heart emojis and few texts. Next day I woke up early (I was on party till 3am only) as I needed to go to a conference in different city. While there, she called me and asked me "if I would like her to come to my city" mid next week as her friend needs to come to my city, so she could go with her. I asked why she says it like that, in that manner. It was second occasion during that relationship, where instead of saying "are we meeting" "I would like to meet" or "what about meeting" she was saying it in this strange way. For me it is normal that if we are dating and treating this seriously, we want to meet each other. So no reason to put it like that. I told her about this to which she replied in (for me) joking sweet tone "because I would like more attention from you..." I told her I think she got the attention from me. I think I was investing much more in this relationship than her (yes, now I know it was wrong), so I knew that she joked. She mentioned that her female friend has already booked a hotel and she could stay with her so that other girls is not alone. I was in a hurry (to a conference) and told her that we will talk in detail about our meeting in the evening, that I will call her so we can discuss. She said ok. I wanted to spend another night with her, so wanted to discuss if maybe she could leave her friend alone (for the night)
Anyway, few hours went by, I went back home and tried to call her. No signal (in my country it is a sign of a phone being turned off), but then after 30 minutes I tried twice more and the signal was indicating that phone is turned on, and that she is currently talking). She did not pick up for an hour and finally when she did, she told me the battery was dead. I told her it was not, because for last 20 or 30 minutes the signal was indicating that she is talking with someone else over the phone. And then she struck me with "Ok Ok, I did talk with someone" to which I asked "with whom" and she said that it was her ex. And it was not over the phone. She was in his car with him. He had messaged her few hours earlier, that he has 2 last questions for her. I asked her why she met with him to which she started a tantrum of words, like "it was only my decision" "do you think it would help something if I picked the phone call from you when talking with him" I told her she knew I wouldn't like her to talk with him. I was a bit in shock. We never had a conversation about our boundaries when it comes to her meeting ex*
I asked then what he wanted from her. He asked her if she is meeting someone, to which she said yes. And after telling me that, she started telling me how she was upset by this, that he started to tell her she has no heart, that he cant look at other girls since he broke up with her, and how could she be meeting with someone else already. I told her that he is a toxic guy, and that he has no right to say such things, that it is her life and not his. But she was not hearing this. She was shouting things like "I am a bad person" " I am hurting people" "I don't know who am I" "If you could see his eyes, he hates me..."
Well, it certainly isn't easy to write about this as I can not understand why I started to tell her why he is toxic and why she is not harming anyone. I was basically defending her, I guess doing that in order not to lose her. I can not to this day understand, why I was such a doormat in that moment, instead of just telling her that the only person she is hurting with those comments, is me, and leaving her in that moment. It really left me shocked. Next week I called her few times, saying that I don't understand what she is doing, why she suddenly needs time to analyze things, why she feels like she hurt him.... She mentioned she is not planning to go back to her ex, I don't remember if it was because she just doesn't want him or is because the ex hates her now anyway.
In those 2 subsequent weeks I told her that she disrespected my feelings by meeting him, that it was not fair joking about lack of attention and plans for our meeting at one time, and few hours later telling me she met with ex and she doesn't know if she can meet with anyone now... She only said "I am sorry if that is how you felt it" But at same time, every hour without contact was difficult for me, so next few days, I was sending her some funny pictures of us together, trying to raise her mood, so maybe she can forget about the toxic things her ex had told her. Finally I told her that I am not able to let this go, so if she wants to end things between us, she can do it now. Now after some time, I realize I was in between two feeling, one was feeling disrespected, but at same time feeling fear of losing her...She asked me for few days, said she will call me next weekend, but she did not. After 5 days of no contact I texted her some nice things as a final message , also adding that I don't understand why she cant just call and break things, as that's what normal people do for me...that I would understand if she want to come back to ex or just doesn't want to continue with me. I called her, she did not reply and then I just texted "ok, if that's how you want to end this, then be it" After that msg, she called me, told me she had not called past couple of days as she was busy at work etc. and she told me she likes me but can't meet anyone now. That it was her decision and I shouldn't blame her ex, and that she knows I am disappointed. That was how it ended pretty much.
I am writing about this, because as stated in beginning, I am reading a lot about relationships, also about narcissist traits. I am thinking if she was a narc or it is just my mind that is looking for answer and putting her in that bracket, in order to have some answers...I read about triangulation and thought if that emotional cheating from her, was not some sort of triangulation? Although if it was, it was a single event as her ex was pretty much out of the picture and she didn't bring him up other than some usual stories of her past. Only Once she stated she doesn't want us to walk through a certain corner in her city, as her ex works there and she wouldn't like to start some fights or talks, etc... Another red flag, to which I only stated this is the last time she brings her ex topic, that she ended things with him so I do not want to hear about him in such context. Still, I think I agreed that if she doesn't want to walk so close to his workplace, I can accept that for now. Also asked her in anger if maybe she would like to have another talk with him, to which she stated "I don't want to talk with him" It was 2 and half month into this relationship.
I blame myself a lot, that I did not set the boundaries early on and fully trusted her. But I also think that she was not allowed to meet with him again, without asking me if I am alright with this. I feel that she hurt me, and not by breaking this with me, as everyone can do what they want. But the way she treated me, that is where I think she was cruel. After spending many nice moments together, suddenly one night screaming at me that she is bad person, that I have no empathy for that guy, that she hurt him, "if you could see his eyes, he hates me" (and calling me rude, when in anger, I told her that maybe I should send him flowers with apologies, if her dating me hurt him that much)
*important info: After one month of knowing her (2-3 days spent together in total back then), she met with him as he expected closure. During that he mentioned to her that he cant live without her, but she told me that for her it is over, that she told me about that request from him (for closure talk) before meeting him, because she treats me seriously and wants to be honest. I said back then that if it is for closure, then I am fine with it, knowing that in the end I have no power whether she is going to cheat me or go back with him. Anyway, after that closure meeting she said that for her nothing changed (meaning that relationship is over), that she is a a bit drained emotionally as she had not expected that he was in such a bad state. I was irritated by her mood back then, as during our pre 1st date texting, and also during the date, she told me that this relationship was in agony already for last couple of months, that they broke up together (no dumper and dumpee), so for me now hearing her obviously impacted by his feelings, was a bit of surprise. Then she told me I must understand she was with him for nearly 3 years, that I should have an empathy for her as she would not like some guy to kill himself because of her. I just told her to go to sleep, rest and next day we started communicating again like nothing happened. I remember my thoughts to myself were "ok, she has right to be affected if she really had not expected his emotions etc..." "they just broke up so it is normal" "hope I am not being used and she won't ever see him again" Those were my thoughts.
TL;DR! Long distance short term relationship (Me-31, Her-28). Met her right after she broke up with another guy. She ended our short relationship after she met with an ex (not telling me about him wanting to see her), and broke down emotionally, saying things that were hurtful to me. Now I am analyzing if she was narcissist, or it was just an expected outcome of someone jumping into relationship too early after breakup, and the other one (me) wanting to be in relationship too much, and ignoring red flags. Was her behavior at the end, a narc triangulation or am I analyzing too much?

This post is about a couple of older and elderly women who vanished without a trace. I wanted to include women who disappeared without much of an explanation. When elderly people go missing, their disappearances can often be chalked up to a dementia-related event. I believe many elderly people who vanished with their cars may be in the bottom of lakes and rivers. Those who lived near wilderness may have gotten lost and died of exposure. Those who were picked up or hitchhiked could've been brought to a hospital where they were unable to communicate their true identity. The women I included went missing under more suspicious circumstances.
Mayme Hart Johnson - Disappeared June 12th, 2000 from Nashville, Tennessee.
Mayme is the first on the list and the reason I decided to do this post. On June 12th, 2000, Mayme Hart Johnson, a local historian, researcher, and teacher went missing from Nashville, Tennessee. Mayme, who was 85, lived in the 100 block of Bosley Springs Road in West Nashville with her son, Sam, in his apartment. At 6:30 am that morning, her son woke to find his mother gone. While he reported that he wasn't initially concerned because Mayme occasionally left the apartment around that time, he became alarmed when she didn't return by lunchtime. Where Mayme would go/what she would do at that time is not known. Richland Creek is close by to the apartments, but from what I've seen, it's narrow and a body would probably soon be found if it was in there, despite it being 28 miles long. Of course, there is always a chance she made it into a larger body of water that concealed her. A maintenance man from the Johnson's building told authorities that he had seen Mayme at 6:30 am the day she went missing. This was around the time Sam woke up. Whether this employee saw her outside the building, inside the building, near or on her apartment floor, or down the street is not mentioned. At the time of her disappearance Mayme was 5'5, 120 pounds, with brown eyes and gray hair, and last seen wearing pink pants and a pink blouse. Whether these were pajamas or not (possibly indicating a dementia-like episode, where she got up out of the house and left without telling her son or getting dressed) is, like many things in this case, unknown. Mayme, as I mentioned, was a historian and if you google her name you will find a few sites that show her body of work. In 1986, she published "A Treasury of Tennessee Churches". A search for Mayme was conducted in the Nashville area and extended to Huntingdon, TN, where her husband's grave was, and where she had been visiting the weekend before she vanished. There was also an aerial search of Eastern Maury County that took place in July 2000 after law enforcement came up with a theory that she could be a target of the I-65 rapist. I'm not sure where police got this idea from. The I-65/Days Inn Killer, now identified as Harry Edward Greenwell, murdered three hotel clerks (ages 21, 24, 34) in the late 1980s. He also sexually assaulted a 21 year old hotel clerk in 1990. While LE does believe he's connected to more violent crimes, I'm not sure how they link Mayme to him--if you know, please add your knowledge in the comments. After the aerial search, nothing was found linking anything to Mayme. In 2008 she was declared deceased.

Helen Joyce Rawley - disappeared June 4th, 2003 from College Park, Maryland
Helen Joyce Rawley lived in a bungalow on the 4600 block of Knox Road in College Park, Maryland with her son. 75 year old Helen went by her middle name "Joyce" so that is how I'll refer to her. Seventy-five year old Joyce and her son, Tom, had lived together since the death of Joyce's husband of 48 years, Nelson, in 2001. Between 6:45 and 7:00 am on June 4th, 2003, Joyce was last seen by her tenant, a man who had rented a room at the Rawley home for the last eight years. Joyce was seen by him on her porch that morning as he returned home from work. Beginning the day after her husband died in February 2001, Joyce suffered two strokes four days apart. Because of the strokes, she was unable to talk and considered disabled because of her inability to communicate. In 2002, Joyce underwent chemotherapy and radiation for rectal cancer. She was on medication that made her tired and weak. She didn't go out anywhere by herself except to get the mail. Her mind remained "sound", according to her son. The day she went missing, her son returned home from his foreman job at 3:30 pm, and found the house empty with the lights off. Joyce's purse and wallet remained left behind in her bedroom, everything was in place, and there were no signs of a robbery. Police tracked Joyce's scent out the front door which she never used, and to the corner of the block. However, she went missing on a "rain-soaked" and "dreary" day and it's possible the bad weather could've washed away any more of her scent outside. Since the death of her husband who died unexpectedly in his sleep, and her two other sons who died together in a 1982 boating accident, Joyce's immediate family consisted of her remaining child Tom, who was unmarried and childless at the time of his mother's disappearance. If she had other family out of the area is unknown. She does have a beach house in Annapolis, Maryland, but had not visited there after she went missing. She was 75 when she disappeared, standing between 5'4-5'5 and 110 pounds. Due to her cancer, she wore a colostomy bag and was on several medications that she can't go long without. Fliers with Joyce's information went out, woods were searched, local bus drivers were notified and questioned if they had seen her, and hospitals had been checked. A helicopter flew over the city at night with a heat-detecting device. No sight of her was ever found. She had brown eyes and white hair and was last seen in a sweatshirt and slacks. She enjoys gardening, crossword puzzles, and reading. Police don't suspect foul play and Tom isn't considered a suspect (neither is the tenant who was the last to see her), but they aren't sure what could've happened.

Maebell Dawson - disappeared January 3rd, 1998 from Jefferson Township, Ohio
68 year old Maebell Dawson had lived in a one bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of the Martin Luther Manor Living Center on Liscum Drive for about a year when she went missing. Maebell was divorced, had two daughters, and had retired from a hospital housekeeping job two years prior. Maebell was close to her family, and when calls to reach her went unanswered for two days, by January 5th, her residence was checked. Nothing in the second-story apartment was missing or out of place. Her winter coat was draped over a chair, her wallet, credit cards, cash, and a check for rent dated 1/8/98 were all found in her purse on the table. Her bank account was never accessed again. There were no signs of forced entry, a struggle or robbery inside the apartment. LE does not believe Maebell was attacked from her apartment or lured from the premises, but they do believe foul play was involved. According to CharleyProject, suicide "has not been ruled out but has been deemed unlikely". In 1998, Maebell was between 5'4 - 5'6 and 180 pounds. She had brown eyes and gray hair, wore glasses, and was last seen in a tan jogging suit. She was last seen entering her apartment at 9:30 pm on January 3rd. Five and a half years after her disappearance, Maebell was declared legally dead.

Norma Mae Maynard - disappeared February 3rd, 1979 from Boone, Iowa.
Norma Mae Maynard went missing in early February of 1979, just two weeks after the unexpected death of her husband, Carl, on January 19th. Norma and Carl had been married for three decades and Norma was deeply grieving the loss. Norma lived with her 30 year old son, and he was the last to see his mother. He stated that shortly before noon on February 2nd, he found a note from his 61 year old mother that stated she was on her way to Los Angeles, not to look for her, and that she'd get in touch again someday. The validity of this note (if seen by LE, if handwritten analysis was performed, etc) is not known. Norma's purse and a few items of clothing were missing, but her checkbook and jewelry were left behind. There was no sign of a break-in at the house. Her husband's pension which she lived off of and her bank account with savings was not touched. Norma was a shy woman who spent most of her time at home and had a regular routine. She didn't drive and her brothers stated that she had never been more than a few miles from her hometown. Her husband's funeral bill was paid for by a check dated four days after she vanished and signed by "Mrs. Carl Maynard". According to Charley Project, "The signature appeared to match Maynard's handwriting, and her son said she had signed a blank check and left it with him to fill in and pay the bill". The validity of this is not known either. A sighting of a woman matching Norma's description was seen by a local Greyhound bus station employee. The woman was boarding a bus bound for Los Angeles. Police are not sure of the accuracy of this sighting and consider it "shaky". Norma didn't drive but she didn't normally travel by bus, and why she allegedly went to Los Angeles is unknown: she had no friends or family there. Norma's son was not considered a suspect in her case, though some members of her family believe he was involved in her disappearance. He has maintained his innocence and has since moved out of state. Norma was 5'3 tall and weight 175 pounds, with blue eyes and gray hair. If she was alive today, she'd be 105. I believe someone close to her knows what happened and made up the story about her leaving for California. My second theory would be suicide, and she made up the California story so her family wouldn't worry.

Yu Chin Goodson is one of the youngest on my list, and at 57, I wouldn't classify her as elderly, but she is an older woman with a lot of mental and physical issues, who went missing under mysterious circumstances like these other women. Yu Chin is an Asian woman suffering from paranoid schizophrenia, diabetes, and a heart problem which required daily medication. In 2005, she was living in group home for patients with mental disabilities in Russellville, Alabama. On March 25th, 2005, a witness claimed to see Yu Chin enter a small, older grey or silver car with a loud muffler. The car was headed toward the Decatur, Alabama area, which is where her son lives. Staff at the group home were informed that Yu Chin was gone, and within 15 minutes of her disappearance, the police were notified and a search for Yu Chin began. No trace of her was ever found. Her son, who lives in the Decatur area, was never contacted by his mother. There has been no mention of foul play, and authorities believe she could currently be homeless and living in shelters. At the time of this write up, she has been missing for almost twenty years and would be around 75 if still alive.

Barbara B. Blount - disappeared May 2nd, 2008 from Holden, Louisiana
Barbara B. Blount was a 58 year old widow who lived on the same road as her children, kept in regular contact with her family and friends, and was active in her local church. It came as a surprise one morning when her nephew came over to visit her residence in rural Livingston Parish, Louisiana, and Barbara was nowhere to be found. A neighbor had just spoken to her over the phone, and Barbara had said she was cleaning out her kitchen cabinets. By the time her nephew had arrived for a visit, the front door was wide open, Barbara's phone was lying on the floor with the battery pulled out, her car was gone, and Barbara was missing. Besides for the unusual circumstances in the home, police didn't find any proof of forced entry. A few hours later in the late afternoon, the silver four door 2006 Toyota Camry Barbara owned was found a quarter of a mile from her home. It was found 25-30 yards off the main road and out of sight, hidden by trees. No trace of Barbara was discovered, baffling friends and family who described Barbara as a cautious individual who carried a gun when she went outside to milk the cows and didn't open the door to strangers. Waterways and woods were searched in attempt to find Barbara, but nothing was ever found.

Truman Burbank (Jim Carrey) the hero of Peter Weir's beautifully sinister and transfixing entertainment-age daydream 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' (Paramount), lives in a storybook island community called Seahaven's that's as sunny and immaculate as a tropical postcard. Each morning, he says goodbye to his perky, beaming wife (Laura Linney) and leaves his gilded suburban home, which looks like one of those New Age gingerbread office buildings that began to go up about a decade ago. Arriving downtown, where he works as an insurance salesman, Truman swirls through lanes of traffic nearly surreal in their civility, whisks past perfectly stacked rows of interchangeable magazines, and makes small talk with the locals, who are as chipper as the droids in a candy-bar commercial.
Have we entered some creepy parallel universe? Or is Seahaven, with it's programmed-cherry settings and programmed cherry people, its meticulous, Magritte-goes-to-the-mall look of the '90s melting into the '50s and back again, the place America is fast becoming?
Actually, Seahaven is a fake – not a town at all but a gigantic domed television studio, where Truman has spent his entire 30 years as the unknowing star of an intricately rigged TV series, a voyeuristic epic beamed 24 hours a day into homes all over the world. The events of Truman's life are overseen by Christof (Ed Harris), the show's ominous creator-visionary, who sits up in his booth like a network Big Brother, molding everything before him. The streets and buildings of Seahaven are sets (the sun and moon are electronically operated light shows), and the citizens are round-the-clock actors, each equipped with a tiny camera. Even Truman's family and friends aren't what they seem. His buddy (Noah Emmerich), who regularly arrives to share a six-pack, uses macho-guy bonding to create an ersatz intimacy.
His wife is a '90s Donna Reed (Linney's overly synthetic character is actually the film's one flaw), and his memory of losing his father in a drowning accident is like a "haunting" TV-movie tragedy. Everywhere Truman looks, he's being filmed, observed, scrutinized; the whole world is watching him. Only he doesn't know it. The reason the show is a hit is that although everything surrounding Truman is an illusion, his reactions are innocently and utterly real.
The paranoid ingeniousness of 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' brings to mind David Lynch directing a smiley-faced '1984' – that or 'INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS' updated to the era of Jerry Springer and 'THE REAL WORLD'. The film takes off from a culture–ours– that erases privacy by turning reality into television and television into reality. That said, if 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' were just a 'TWILIGHT ZONE' satire of life, transporting experience in the way that Weir, working from Andrew Nicol's nimbly fanciful screenplay, allows us direct access to the eerie virtual reality of Truman's world, which is portrayed as a hyper-clear dream of our own homogenized, theme-parked lives, with everything from catchphrases to love dictated by the prerogatives of corporate central.
Jim Carrey has always been naturally stylized, a man gleefully unleashing his id and watching it bounce around the room. Here, he hasn't let go of that stylization, exactly. He's sculpted it down, reducing himself to slightly gawky mannerisms of a doofus everyman domesticated beyond his powers, literally raised to be a character on a TV show. As it dawns on Truman that there are vast forces mucking with his life, Carrey's happy smirk turns into a snarl of rage, and he inspires dynamic feels of audience revolt. What Truman is discovering and fighting, the surreal sense that everything in the world revolves around -him-, is really the core aesthetic of TV commercials ("This Bud's for you!"), now turned into a madhouse threat. A consumer-age Walter Mitty, he longs to escape, to go to Fiji and reunite with the bewitching coed (Natascha McElhone) he once, for a moment, loved.

Unbeknownst to him, she was an actress on 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' who tried to shake free of her role (and was hauled off by network fascists). Carrey uses his timing and his ironic sincerity to fuse us to Truman's desperation, turning him into a postmodern Capra hero. We're dying for Truman to break through Seahaven's fourth wall – to become, for the first time, himself.
Weir gently tweaks the viewers who gather at a bar, or over pizza, to tune into Truman's latest exploits. Those viewers, of course, are us. Watching the movie, we're inside 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' and outside it at the same time. We feel the tug of its drama as surely as anyone on screen, yet we're never allowed to forget that for Truman, romance, friendship, even his own memories are a prefab series of events– a behavior-modifacation experiment drawn from the situational language of television. It may well have taken a clown genius like Jim Carrey to play someone who wakes up to the notion that his whole life has been a ghostly pantomime.
In its own ominously witty way, 'THE TRUMAN SHOW' is really asking, What happens to our experience when all we want to -be- is what we see? That may be the first essential question of the 21st century.

Hi all,
So I completed the purchase of a house in the north of Scotland (just outside Aberdeen, if it matters) on Friday.
It seems the seller hasn't bothered to clear out ANY of their stuff, has left the place in essentially a biohazard condition (animal faeces and urine all over the place), white goods which were meant to be left were not (but all of their other stuff was..), skip blocking entry to driveway, broken Central heating (all bar one radiator works), random holes in walls, flooring badly scraped where they must have attempted to move furniture etc etc - totally not in the condition I viewed it in and packed full of furniture/clothes/personal possessions.
I knew the house needed work and purchased this as a fixer upper however I'm going to have to spend weeks clearing it out and cleaning it before I can even get any of my stuff in. I've had to book a hotel at the last minute to stay in as the house is not suitable and the moving company I used had to put all of my furniture into storage (which again I had to arrange at the last minute on a Friday evening).
I got the keys at half 4 on Friday and so have only been able to email my solicitor who responded to say he's emailed the sellers solicitor and will let me know on Monday what to do now..
One clause in the missives states that moveable items need to be removed so I think I'm probably due some kind damages/compensation however I've no idea what to do here, does anyone have any advice on what to do now?
The other point is the seller is being pursued for AT LEAST 10 different overdue bills for a total of somewhere near 6 figures from various agencies and so I'm worried about their ability to actually pay if I am owed any damages. (I know this due to the massive stack of opened mail they left for me by the front door).
As an FYI - I found out from one of my new neighbours that the seller hasn't died or anything, they've moved to a small flat nearby (so probably just left everything they didn't want).

to preface, let me make it clear that i'm blown away by the creativity and talent on display. everyone aware of the scene kinda knows we're in a "boomer shooter" renaissance right now, and imo boltgun stands tall right alongside titans like doom eternal, dusk, ultrakill, etc. this game has awoken something in me that i haven't felt since the release of doom eternal and i can't get it outta my mind. for the last few days ive felt compelled to write a massive fucking wall of text to show my love for this game, so here we are. i want to give my thoughts on the gameplay loop, including strengths and criticisms, in a somewhat random order. this will be about my personal preferences so i'm sure others will disagree with some of what i say. i beat the game on exerminatus on my second day of gameplay on june 1st (i kinda blitzed thru due to time constraints), and i've been casually playing through a couple stages a day when i have time since.
MOVEMENT
i am obsessed, and i mean OBSESSED with the movement system in context with the combat loop. you're ridiculously fast in the BEST WAY, you can jump higher and faster than other arcade shooters, and you have extremely fine control over your movement. it's overpowered, SERIOUSLY overpowered, but i haven't seen a game give us this level of mobility and control that manages to engage me in the same way boltgun has. you become disgustingly powerful when you learn how to consistently dodge every enemy attack pattern and climb like a cat. it's extremely satisfying. i've seen some people say to turn on autorun, but i think this is a serious mistake. you can very consistently dodge enemy fire even at close range by modulating your speed midair after jumping and adjusting your movements with precision and speed. you can also make some outlandishly stylish plays that are impossible in any other game in the genre in recent memory. it's so much fun to me, and i find it so satisfying to drop into a random stage after a long day and parkour around while mowing through arenas. i don't feel this way about other games in the genre.
SECRETS
there was a big missed opportunity with the secrets. i'm aware that this is a point that has been hammered into the ground by other players, so i'll keep this brief. i feel that the dev's outstanding level of competency and attention to detail when designing the movement system further exposes how glaringly boring the secrets are. it was especially striking how many "off-limits" places i could somehow parkour my way into that were totally empty. it really makes me wonder what the level designers were doing. maybe they added the secrets at the last minute? that's a fair excuse imo. to me, secrets are more of a minor point, but it's probably the most obvious flaw in my eyes.
LEVEL DESIGN
moving on, let's talk level design. i've seen plenty of users complain about the lack of a map system that's common in other arcade shooters, but i had little trouble navigating most levels without a map. there were a few "wait, where was that locked door again?" moments, but for the most part the level design was quite intuitive. to me, most of the stages in all three chapters were diverse, vibrant, unique, and really fun to explore and navigate around. some stages kinda blend together, but i've not played a game that avoids this yet.
i'm not someone who follows 40k lore, but i can tell the devs did the 40k universe justice by some of the setpieces and architecture on display. the use of matching colored lightning to illuminate keys/doors was very helpful to me, and there's not too much backtracking if you follow the signposting. however, i understand that other players may have had a more difficult time identifying signposting and navigating some of the stages, especially the more mazey ones. i don't think much would be lost by giving users a map. (side note, i actually quite enjoyed the portals puzzle in sanctum manufactorum, though that's possibly because i had fun parkouring to unintended routes lol)
DIFFICULTY CURVE
next, let's get into the difficulty curve. as others have pointed out, this game starts easy, pretends to be easy for a minute, and then comes out of fucking nowhere to pound you into the fucking ground. i LOVED it. even as a veteran of the genre, i died probably 5 to 10 times on the first plague frog arena. this was definitely the most difficult part of the game for me, as you don't have many tools at that point and you haven't had much time to understand how the enemy ai and attack patterns work. on the second playthrough, i cruised through it without a second thought. this is primarily because the game does a really great job of teaching you to spot key pickups and use secrets/powerups wisely. it practically BEGS you to abuse them in certain arenas, and i found every major "boss" (lord of change, etc.) to be a breeze because of vortex grenades and intelligent resource management.
i found the difficulty of the hardest arenas basically on par with nightmare in doom eternal. doom eternal is my personal bar for difficulty, as i've completely UN runs of the main campaign and first DLC. honestly, the difficulty of this game when it gets going feels equivalent to hardest difficulties in other arcade shooters that have emerged in the current renaissance. i've seen people say that this game is "too easy" on exterminatus, but i think they nailed the difficulty for the most part. there's some clear inconsistencies, but the large arenas can be challenging and are fun without fail. i definitely would like to see this game get an "ultra nightmare" mode ( one save, if you die progress resets to c1m1) and something akin to doom eternal's master levels. tbh at this point i will fucking devour anything else the devs can drip feed me.
ARSENAL
let's talk guns. i think the arsenal variety is almost perfect and the balance is quite good. the meltagun is possibly overtuned, but also the bosses in this game are pretty bullet spongey on exterminatus, so i'm very grateful for it. i use all guns pretty evenly, to be honest. depending on how i want to play a stage i'll pick a different gun for the machine spirit, though i find myself almost exclusively picking the volkite caviler by chapter 3 because of the amount of mid and hightier enemies. i think each gun is viable for the machine spirit on the majority of stages, and my choice here simply reflects my playstyle, not necessarily the gun power. here's a brief overview of my use cases:

boltgun for non-armored gunwielders at mid/long range, sometimes mid+hightiers when conserving other ammo (spend)
shotgun for weaker adds and cornering (spend)
heavy bolter for most midtier enemies like flamers/chaos marines/etc., also very good for exalted flamers (moderate conserve)
plasma gun for fast deleting midtiers, chunking hightiers, and wiping out tightly clustered packs of all tiers (mostly spend)
vengeance launcher for corner peaking and clearing big clusters of low and midtier enemies (spend)
volkite caliver for deleting mid/hightier enemies, ESPECIALLY the armored ones (conserve)
meltagun is a boss-delete weapon i only to be used in very specific situations (CONSERVE)
grav cannon is rarely used because the meltagun serves its purpose better lol. i generally waste the ammo asap on any high-midtier enemies (spend unless near big arena, then save for boss after meltagun)
vortex grenades are unquestionably the best item in the game. they trivialize every single boss encounter. i always make sure to keep one on me before the end of every stage (CONSERVE CONSERVE CONSERVE)
krak/frag grenades serve mostly the same use cases for me, which is deletion of terminators and other hightier enemies (spend/conserve varies)
chainsword is rarely used and mostly for vertical movement not immediately reachable by jumping
charge is rarely used except for longjumping and evasion/mowing down lowtiers while thinking/strategizing and repositioning

ammo for certain weapons is definitely way too common, but i wasn't too bothered with this. i see it as the level designers telling you to "just have fun and go crazy" with certain weapons. it definitely makes the game easier, but my instincts from other arcade shooters make me naturally conserve way more than necessary regardless. they could probably halve the ammo pickups and i wouldn't notice lol. it takes concerted effort for me to ammo dump and not weapon swap.
edit 1: i read that many people felt that there wasn't enough feedback for hitting/killing an enemy. i personally don't have this issue, as the sounds and blood effects are audible and visible from even across the map. i guess i'm also kinda used to memorizing the shots to kill for every gun on every enemy, so all i need to hear is the CRUNCH sound
ENEMIES, BOSSES
enemy diversity is average to sometimes a bit lacking. many small tier enemies are the same, just with varying healthpools. i'm kinda okay with this, as the core combat loop is still pretty tight. enemy placement is great and i was surprised by ambushes plenty of times (ig this goes in level design, oops), requiring me to think on my toes and distracting me from how boring some of the enemies are. the enemy diversity isn't much different than other similar arcade shooters so i'm not disappointed or anything, i just think the combat system they have in place gives them a lot of room to expand. i really enjoy that the projectile patterns/tracking patterns from certain enemies is both predictable but also a little random, meaning you can get very far on movement skill alone but bad placement or poor number sense will always screw you over.
bosses are fine if not boring or with obtuse mechanics. bosses and hightier enemies are much spongier than necessary, requiring powerups/vortex grenades/meltagun if you don't want to be there all day. in theory, this is good game design because it pushes players use the resources (powerups) that you give them. in practice, boss fights can be a somewhat frantic slog if you missed a secret or don't explore the arena in the "proper" order. in my opinion, the game would benefit greatly by decreasing boss healthpools and certain hightier healthpools but increasing difficult in other ways like enemy count or projectile count.
FINAL THOUGHTS
this is getting too long. i think the main theme i want to highlight is "potential". that's not to say that the game is bad. i think the game is fantastic in its current state and definitely worth a buy if you're a fan of the genre. however, different parts of the game are on different levels of good. the movement feels ridiculously good with lots of depth, the level design is quite good but the secrets are severely lacking, the enemy variety is decent and it's fun enough to engage with them, the bosses are okay i guess but are definitely too spongey. certain aspects of boltgun definitely shine through to make it a memorable and addictive game to me. HOWEVER, if they keep working with what they have, i think this will be my new favorite arcade shooter. also, i reserve my right to update this post when i read it again in a few hours and realize i left out lots of stuff i wanted to talk about lmao
TLDR
game good. movement PHENOMENAL, guns good, levels good, enemies good, bosses okay. combat loop extremely satisfying. while still challenging, i think the skill ceiling for the systems in place is far higher than what the current max difficulty offers. pls devs keep updating/working on what you have. even if not, it'll still be one of my favorite games.

There was no time to pursue education when a neighboring clan might try to kill you or seize your food stores at any moment. In only a few generations, 80% of the ’common knowledge’ from the pinnacle of civilization, was unknown to the average person.
Consuming ignorance dutifully filled the void left behind by the collapse. Hunger and the ugliest of primal emotions drove human behavior far more than it had prior to the fall. Rampant starvation and unsanitary conditions were a potent one-two punch in the spiraling descent back to the dark ages. It led to a contemptible practice which would’ve been unthinkable only a half century earlier. The inability to distinguish between justifiable food choices, and ‘things which should never be ingested’.

While we tried to be self-sufficient, we had to go outside our security zone on occasions to get necessary supplies which we couldn’t produce internally. The more frequently we left the relative safely of our compound, the higher risk level we brought upon ourselves.
Their numbers had exploded. They were everywhere and it was only a matter of time before they discovered our tiny little ‘oasis of progress’ and attacked us. My scouts knew better than to retreat back to the compound if they realized they’d been observed. Like a trail of ants, the SE’s would follow them here and find our idyllic home and destroy everything. I believed at the time that the best outcome of any battle was to avoid it completely.
We ‘booby-trapped’ a few pseudo entrances to discourage accidental discoveries, but our biggest danger was to be observed and followed back home. I guess we just took the risk of going outside the compound too many times, or simple ‘dumb luck’ occurred. Either way, they found our home while I was away with my team. We’d spent too much effort in avoiding detection, and not enough planning a defense. Our community was unprepared for an on-site conflict; and with half our most able-bodied warriors on the mission, we took heavy losses. Both in terms of loss of life, and having our remaining people taken prisoner.
My wife was eaten alive right on the spot; while two of my younger children were taken away. Presumably for later consumption, but infinitely worse fates were possible. I shuddered at the thought of what she went through, and what horrors awaited my little ones. The SE’s take immense pleasure in seizing non SE’s and torturing them for being more evolved. They pride themselves in being ignorant and primitive. Furious vengeance boiled in my heart. I wanted to act immediately but I was well aware that raw passion clouds judgement. The stench of body odor and decay was nearly unbearable. The plan unfolded perfectly. Those we encountered were either unconscious or unresponsive to ordinary stimuli. One by one we dispatched the sub human monsters. There was very little resistance until we reached portions of the cave which our ‘sleeping potion’ didn’t reach. There we experienced some desperate fighting but in the end, we were victorious.

Globally, there were probably hundreds of others. More importantly though, our little operation to take back humanity was finally underway.
It was day one in the march to rebuild civilization. I discovered other pockets of learning and progress along the way as we explored the larger world. Our small community and the others banded together with the universal goal of wiping out primal clans and rebuilding the infrastructure of the Earth. With a unified group of people worldwide endeavoring to return to a brighter future, we collectively left behind the darkness and despair. Hope has finally returned. It’s a great time to be alive again.

The Earth bore little resemblance to its former self. At least not from the standpoint of what humanity had achieved previously. First the global economy collapsed. As a result, the intimately-connected world we knew was no more. Cities were abandoned. Interpersonal relationships devolved into clan-style family units working together for the basic goal of mutual survival. Sometimes brutally. In just a few years, the priceless wealth of technological knowledge which has been accumulated since the dawn of time, almost completely disappeared.
Predictably, without six millennia of scientific advancement and evolving civility, came revolving waves of disease and premature death. The world’s population dwindled to just a fraction of its former numbers. Our potential for understanding remained, but the desire to flex the intellectual muscles for higher-learning, took a back seat to the daily imperative of simply surviving. There was no time to pursue education when a neighboring clan might try to kill you or seize your food stores at any moment. In only a few generations, 80% of the ’common knowledge’ from the pinnacle of civilization, was unknown to the average person.
Consuming ignorance dutifully filled the void left behind by the collapse. Hunger and the ugliest of primal emotions drove human behavior far more than it had prior to the fall. Rampant starvation and unsanitary conditions were a potent one-two punch in the spiraling descent back to the dark ages. It led to a contemptible practice which would’ve been unthinkable only a half century earlier. The inability to distinguish between justifiable food choices, and ‘things which should never be ingested’.
No, I’m not referring to the abject inhumanity of cannibalism. The unapologetic consumption of human flesh wasn’t surprising in those stark times of desperation. I’m speaking of something far, far worse. The instinct to find feces distasteful was lost in the spiraling downfall of mankind. Those who were old enough to remember the golden era of civilization simply called those who partook in this practice: ‘SE’s. In plainer words, ‘Shiteaters’.
It wasn’t a particularly clever slur but the descriptive euphemism fit well enough. Being labeled that didn’t even qualify as an insult any longer for an entire class of depraved souls who saw no problem with the distasteful practice in the first place. They enthusiastically partook in the disgusting act of coprophilia, out of misguided necessity. Noting went… ahem, to ‘waste’.
Extreme hunger is a highly effective motivator for sure. It pushed them to work past the unpleasant stench and natural gag reflexes which would normally dissuade such abhorrent behavior. In certain unsophisticated circles, the excrement from well-fed scavenger individuals became a ‘delicacy’. Afterward, they were literally ‘full of shit’, if you can forgive the reoccurring string of foul puns.
Understandably, those who held onto some level of prior civility avoided the SE’s at all costs, lest the disgusting practice ahem… ‘rub off’ on them. Distasteful consumption details aside, As with any recycled substance, the level of vitamins, proteins and other nutrients deteriorate with each cycle. That is the law of diminishing returns. Eventually, regardless of portion size, the empty calories contained in their favorite ‘dish’ was no longer enough to sustain regular development.
With the serious level of nutritional deficiency in their daily diet came the side effects of severe physiological and psychological issues. Their intellectual capacity diminished rapidly. In just a short time they lost the ability to speak. For all intents and purposes, they devolved into a lower life form of violent, sub-primates. If a scientific community still existed in academia to label them, they might’ve named this transitory species, ‘Homo coprophilis’.
Despite their diminished cerebral capabilities, they bred in voracious numbers and made up the majority of hominids scavenging the world. Because of their sheer prevalence in numbers, it didn’t matter if they could be individually outwitted. There were too many of them in the wild to completely avoid. If non SE’s were captured by them, they were lucky if they were only held in cages for feces harvesting or forced breeding stock. There were far worse fates possible in the SE dens.
Our community remained lucky for many years. I educated my people the best I could from what remained of books and educational materials. The few brushes we had with the cave dwelling troglodytes were thankfully rare, and led to fortunate outcomes. Sadly, that was all about to change. While we tried to be self-sufficient, we had to go outside our security zone on occasions to get necessary supplies which we couldn’t produce internally. The more frequently we left the relative safely of our compound, the higher risk level we brought upon ourselves.
Their numbers had exploded. They were everywhere and it was only a matter of time before they discovered our tiny little ‘oasis of progress’ and attacked us. My scouts knew better than to retreat back to the compound if they realized they’d been observed. Like a trail of ants, the SE’s would follow them here and find our idyllic home and destroy everything. I believed at the time that the best outcome of any battle was to avoid it completely.
We ‘booby-trapped’ a few pseudo entrances to discourage accidental discoveries, but our biggest danger was to be observed and followed back home. I guess we just took the risk of going outside the compound too many times, or simple ‘dumb luck’ occurred. Either way, they found our home while I was away with my team. We’d spent too much effort in avoiding detection, and not enough planning a defense. Our community was unprepared for an on-site conflict; and with half our most able-bodied warriors on the mission, we took heavy losses. Both in terms of loss of life, and having our remaining people taken prisoner.
My wife was eaten alive right on the spot; while two of my younger children were taken away. Presumably for later consumption, but infinitely worse fates were possible. I shuddered at the thought of what she went through, and what horrors awaited my little ones. The SE’s take immense pleasure in seizing non SE’s and torturing them for being more evolved. They pride themselves in being ignorant and primitive. Furious vengeance boiled in my heart. I wanted to act immediately but I was well aware that raw passion clouds judgement. No matter how anxious I was to save my children and wipe the disgusting scum from the Earth, I had to do it in a meticulous, organized way. The survivors of our village needed a solid plan to strike back.
I gathered every weapon we had at our disposal and assembled our weary band of survivors. Others present in the meeting lost family members too. I had to stop them from rushing to the shiteater cave on a suicide mission. I cooled their rage and tempered my own until we were all better prepared for battle. How do you fight an enemy with no honor? How can you approach a conflict where there is no reason to be had? To suggest it would be a war with ‘apes’ would be an insult to those primates.
Previously I thought the SE’s were a product of the collapse of civilization. Obviously I feared their enthusiastic embrace of primal ignorance but mostly, I just pitied them. If there was one reoccurring theme of universal failure in the remaining history books it was how war is pointless. I hoped to avoid them. As a fellow survivor in the collapse, I tried to coexist. To live and let live but it became glaringly clear they could not be left alive. None of them, or there would never be peace or prosperity for the thinking population. They were a wretched branch of homo sapien species that needed to be permanently snuffed out.
I rallied our reluctant fighters, both men and woman, young and old, able bodied and infirm, to boldly seize the moment. It was our time! It was the human race’s moment to reverse the spiraling collapse. We had to snuff-out the willfully ignorant, sub-human slime holding us back permanently, or there would never be a return to hope and enlightenment. Everyone present accepted the calling. We were going to stop being frightened little sheep. We were committed to fight to the death, but we were also going to do so with technical wisdom and science.
Almost like a grain silo, SE’s were known to keep their fecal ‘food’ stores in a central storage bin. They guarded them almost like bank currency. Their entire community revolved around the supply of manure, so strategically it would be in the center of their caves and living space. More than once, these methane-laden storage areas had been known explode from natural gas build-up and wipe out clans. As a previous pacifist in my worldview and outlook, I’d never considered destroying them with their own storehouse of shit before, but the idea was more than novel in its charm. It was almost poetic in scope.
The only problem lied in the collateral damage to our survivors. How could we get our beloved family members back before annihilating their cave and destroying the sub human vermin? I researched non-lethal means of incapacitating every soul inside so we could rescue our loved ones first. In a medical textbook I’d saved from being burned as fireplace fodder, was a detailed article on anesthesia. Not only did it explain how it worked, but it also offered the chemical compounds necessary to produce it.
As the ‘minister of science’ of our progressive community, I had always tried to keep knowledge alive and maintain a base level of education for our citizens. I taught the children basic chemistry and math, among other things. We had amassed a decent supply of chemicals taken from the crumbling warehouses of the once-great cities near our settlement. It was finally time to put them to use. From those supplies I filled up two canisters of nitrous oxide. My scouts located their lair, and we cautiously amassed there for the extraction and extermination.
Under the cover of darkness we blew the ‘knock-out’ gas into the entrance and waited until they were hopefully incapacitated. Into the lion’s den we crept. The stench of body odor and decay was nearly unbearable. The plan unfolded perfectly. Those we encountered were either unconscious or unresponsive to ordinary stimuli. One by one we dispatched the sub human monsters. There was very little resistance until we reached portions of the cave which our ‘sleeping potion’ didn’t reach. There we experienced some desperate fighting but in the end, we were victorious.

Sadly not all were physically unharmed and there was no undoing the SE’s carnage and unspeakable acts.
