Throwaway acct…I need help..I know by me sharing this story im setting myself up for lots of hate which I completely deserve and am ready for but I also need true and honest thoughts to help me so here I go. This story will be all over the place and long so bear with me. I have been in a sneaky link type of relationship with a man who has a girlfriend and very recently just had a baby with her. It all started when I was working a couple of years ago. It had been a couple of months into this job and we just had a new hire and i thought he was very attractive and very much my type but a couple of days later i got into a serious relationship with my ex (Me and my ex-boyfriend were long distance and met online) so i lost attraction and I barely talked to him just a small hey..hi sometimes. A couple of weeks later me and we will call him D started talking and becoming good friends and my initial attraction came back and I had a small crush but never acted on it. Me and ex boyfriend started becoming very distant and me and my friends suspected he was cheating on me because of his behavior which later I found out I was right. I never confronted him on my suspicions I don’t know why but we started dating in like SeptembeOctober if I remember correctly in December I left my job and in Jan me and D started becoming very close.. we smoked together a lot and one night we started talking and the conversation ended up with spicy questions being asked and one thing led to another and we ended up kissing the days after that we slept together. D and me were both in relationships and we still continued this relationship I know..I know. I ended up breaking up with my ex a couple of months later because of how distant we both were with each other. Me and D continued sleeping with each other here and there for months even though he was still in relationship and we had discussions of how very fucked up people we were for doing what we were doing. Also to note the whole time I was cheating I did feel a little guilty but i stopped myself from thinking abt it yeah again i know what is wrong with me. We continued all the way until June and after that we both got busy and never hit each other up again. I noticed he unaddedd me on snap and just thought he was done and never thought abt it again. i think 4 months later he called me and I refused to pick up for weeks because in those months I had started to develop a relationship with god and didn’t wanna be the old me again. About a month into him still calling me a lot of shit was going on in my life meaning I had gone back to partying alcohol and drugs and ended up picking up his call. He told me he wanted to explain why he never hit me up again and I told him there was no need as it was mutual decision and I simply did not care bccs I never had feelings for him he persisted and I ended up meeting him he told me that he ended up getting his girlfriend pregnant and the decision was to keep it. we continued talking for longer until he made a move to kiss to where i did kiss back but I stopped and asked to be taken home. I didn’t talk to him for awhile after that because yes I know cheating was bad before but adding a pregnant woman into the picture it made it 10x worse. But i inevitably gave in and we started sleeping with each other here and there again with the decided terms that when the baby would get here we would both cut each other off on everything.last night i was on the phone with him and we started having a deep ass conversation out of no where and i was like let me just ask him finally abt the baby like i was just so curious bcs it had been way longer than 9 months but i asked i was like what ever happened to the kid… D said I’m not going to lie like my kid is here my heart like dropped cause after he said that like it just hit me fr like this man is a whole father has a whole baby mama and i wanted to ask more questions but it was so weird so I refrained and after i got quiet and he was like if that changes things just let me know and i was like honestly i don’t know right now and before this we made plans for me to hang with him at his house next week and I don’t know we proceeded to have a conversation after that but like all i could think in the back of my head was that and like im just so iffy on everything and i just feel so guilty like it was bad before but it’s worse now and like the worst part is is i feel like im still gonna fuck him and it’s not cause i have feelings but i feel like i do have some sort of attachment maybe because he was my first but i don’t know there is some attachment and i know it’s also because i spent my whole life just not believing i wasn’t pretty enough like at all like also being a bigger girl having someone attracted to me is so bizarre and as much as i love to act like im not insecure i still very much am and i think like oh having someone who i found attractive found me attractive and we were fucking just gave me that validation but that’s no fucking excuse to be a home wrecker. I have been so anxious over this all day like i truly wonder what happened to me i used to be such a big person on no cheating and now look at me im the biggest cheater of them all. Like just because im insecure it didn’t give me the right to do this to that poor girl. I need help cutting this off completely.

Their exchange carried them through the week-night 'til the sun turned red. The big blaze was setting on Bull Creek, & they had gotten drunk enough to prove it. Turner hunched over his hickory countertop, ice rattling in his empty glass. His Stetson hung low, his gray fuzz suspended over the table's fine wooden ridges.
At his home that evening was kindred spirit, Digby Jones, running the opposite end of the counter. Another old man clinging to the dark hair of youth. He sat back on the creaky barstool, lifting up his pint to polish off a bit more whiskey. Alcohol was hard on the ol' liver for Jones, ever since he cleaned up his act. He was still soaking up his rye.
"Awful nosy people 'round here, then." Turner muttered. Jones fought to keep him grounded. "Ain't that the truth. Either that, or ya really do got some'n fancy in that ol' hatch."
The banter caught a coy wheeeeeeeeeeze from the man, pulled from his mix of pondering & drunken stupor. Jones beamed at his grin. "No, I ain't got nothin' in that cellar. Just more of this shit!" Turner raised his glass for emphasis. Jones laughed, his bud backtracking into offended confusion.
"Now-- who's even sayin' all that? Who's got business in my floorboards?" He waved a perplexed hand. Jones pressed his palms into the hickory, tapping the table as he leaned in. "Isaac reckons it's some'n to do with Dean Whitley's daughter!" He reeled his head with a cackle. Turner pounded the counter with a balled fist.
Gruff teeth-grinding spat out his mouth. "Damnit, I knew it. I done told that boy..."
"Oh Lawrence, say it ain't so! You, with the paper-man's daughter?"
Rolled eyes. "C'mon, Digs, it's not like that." Jones' laugh drug on & dried up. "I know, I know. It doesn't sound like you anyway, Lawrence. Not with your Catherine expecting, now." His burned-out chuckles left in a sigh. But Turner had said nothing. By then, he was clasping the countertop with both hands, pinning Jones' attention with dry eyes.
He had already given up his oath to secrecy.
"Do you really wanna know?"

The wooden cut-out raised, peeling back on its iron hinges. A lantern passed through, carried by two boot sets. The hatch closed.
They stepped past crisscross shelves with moonshine décor. In a corner, Jones outlined rods & a bucket hat sat on a barrel. Remnants of Turner's fishing days in the south-east. He trailed in pace with the brother, stepping 'round a wood beam here, over a canyon portrait there.
The journey stopped with the lantern sat atop a dresser. Jones stood over Turner's side. His wrinkly fingers slid the top nook back, unveiling a patterned chest in the dim gas-light. The top lifted off, & he gently plucked the contents of a red bandana, sitting it by the lantern.
There was silence. Still, Turner lifted a finger to his lips. Shh.
"What am I looking at?" Jones whispered.
His buddy unfolded the bandana wrapping, a six-piece tucked inside.
He buried his suspicions within. "...Hell of an iron."
"You act like you've never met her."
"...Met her?"
"Yeah, Digs." A piercing, oiled gaze. "It's Catherine."

His Stetson hung from its hook, his gray fuzz rocking back 'n forth in the hickory chair. His constant movement, the homeostasis of drunken restlessness. A sandy breeze tumbled in their far-off gaze. And Jones was frozen, nails curled 'round the end of each armrest; an anxious slouch in his chair.
Their eyes were best left apart. Under the lantern glow and moonlight, they instead peered into the desert. It was like a pebbled ocean. A long beat sat in the air; the saddle of confession.
"...You told us she went to see her mother, up north."
The soft whale-sound of the bellowing night wind.
"I did."
Sweat drunk in his scalp, watching the old coot finger with the frame. Just as, wind chime kisses rang overhead.
"...Why her?"
It came out like a demand.
"She bit my shoulder."
An avian dot curved in the black sky.
"...I don't understand."
Turner rocked. And rocked. And stopped to think for a moment.
"Life's complicated, Digs."
And he rocked. Crickets sounded in the dunes. Jones tried to lighten the mood, in denying disbelief.
"...Shoot her any?"
"Fuck no."
Another injection of adrenaline to Jones' system. He clamped his eyes shut.
"...Why not?"
Another end to Turner's rocking. Even he pondered on his quick response. A perverse stare mapped out each ridge of the sidearm. Wherever he was looking, he arrived.
"Lord knows I hate to give her away."
Jones lifted a hand to sponge the liquid caking his cheek.
Turner lifted the muzzle, pointing its tip like a compass into the night.
"Y' see it?"
Eyes scanning the deep.
"No sir, I don't." Jones panted.
The wasteland's belly groaned, and the aching was the wind.
"It rides at bedtime. A posse like thunder. Horses without hooves..."
The man leaned forward in his chair with a squint.
"They're wranglin' somethin' out there."
Jones was out of questions. He didn't want to know anymore. He nestled his temple in his palm. By then, he had just been speaking on Turner's accord.
"Is that right, Lawrence?"
Turner's index coiled onto the trigger, his thumb fingering the hammer.
"Yeah."
The hand over his head had become a mask for his eyes. Jones offered a final inquisition.
"What are they wranglin' on, Lawrence?"
Catherine clicked. Her voice was a gargling of blood. Her intonation said she had accepted that bubbling red long ago. By now, she only tasted moonshine.
"The spirit of Dean Whitley. It's out there, in that desert. Maybe it's the hooves."

So I’ll preface it by saying that I absolutely love this game. I think it’s phenomenal how much stuff they put into it and how good the story is this time around. I’ve played probably over 200 hours of it by now, and I’ve been hooked the whole damn time, finding myself with an ear to ear grin frequently. Hot damn, I love what they did here overall.
So my problem isn’t the game, fundamentally. Sure, some of the things are balanced weird, like frozen meat shield-surfing, but when they put so many inter-operating mechanics into a game that still has to hold up on its own merits, some stuff’s gonna be overlooked and unfixed, even after a lot of in-house testing. No, my problems are very much specific to my own proclivities. I’m pretty sure these things are non-issues or even welcome to most people.
First issue is a simple one. I hate what the flute player brings to every stable. It’s an ear worm aspect of the song that wears out its welcome too fast for my liking. Doesn’t hold up for me over multiple-multiple listens. Really annoying. It’s like he (she?) is riffing like impromptu jazz, but you hear it over and over, which defeats the purpose of its dynamic content inserted over a very stable and pleasant base melody. Makes it too busy and draws too much attention to itself. Nope, I don’t like it. I’ll just forgo the last set of armor enhancements if I have to. Makes the game too easy anyway, tbh when you factor in I’m completing the shrines and increasing my max health pool already.
My second issue is usurping torches with so many other fire options at the ready and so many bright blooms available that the game is telling me that I can’t pick up any more. I absolutely LOVED the Thyphlo Ruins experience from BotW, and I just think brightbloom/lightroot use falls so short of that. When you’re able to light up everything permanently, even if it’s piecemeal and using what essentially amounts to a sub-currency, the tension almost completely vanishes. And brightbloom seeds are essentially free. You get them in much tamer areas, scattered about like an invasive species, dominating the whole place. You don’t have to sacrifice a weapon slot. You can shoot them far into the distance using a bow. They don’t give you the scary/romantic vibe of a candle-lit dinner. I just feel like the visual vibe of the depths doesn’t mesh well with it being possible to just completely conquer the whole thing with cheap-to-free-and-permanent, fluorescent lighting.
Not everyone is going for a bleak, bad-guys-could-have-easily-won, narrative in their gameplay experience, but I really want it. And at least in the cutscenes it would have matched up. Finding people brave enough to jump down in there, not just with you, but BEFORE you, I’m like damn, Hyrule’s really starting to kick some ass. But that and the dopey-ass Yiga peeps being down in there hamming it up instead of murdering and extorting families on the surface really deflates a lot of the tension. And that might be a welcome respite, but that’s not what I’d prefer here. I want a darker tone than what Nintendo is willing to commit to. And that’s okay. They can’t please everyone. 🤷🏻‍♀️
But all that being said, I might just restart tonight and impose some self-restrictions on my gameplay this time around. I did things so fast initially that the hidden EXP system started withholding the mid-range enemies real quick. And I’m dismissing my buddies more and more. So I might just have to say touch shit, Zoras, I’m tearing shit up in the scattered camps right now. Be there when I get tired of laying the smack-down on these dweebs. 👏🏻✌🏻

Other things I do? I'm a programmer and study computer science, and I make gaming videos on YouTube for fun! Also a 'voice actor' in the works, I don't really have too much experience with that yet, but I usually like doing funny voices for fangame projects!

RP3+ vs Odin Lite: not sure which to buy
Ik there's other posts of users uncertain on which system to get but I have specific questions I'm curious about
Is the RP3's screen big enough size? When emulating DS I sorta prefer doing split screen and Im worried the retroids screen is a little too small for that.
As far as the Odin lite, how does the D-pad placement feel? Is it awkward or will it be decent for playing 2D games?
It's mostly ergonimics and screen size I'm worried about with both systems tbh. Also if it matters, I plan to play GBA, PS1, PSP, and DS games predominately.
Any recommendations or words of wisdom appreciated, I wanna be certain before I spend over 100$ on an sbc device lol

How did i do?

FOR CONTEXT; i’ve been delivering with Uber for over a year now, but my old ID expired. When trying to upload my new passport, it kept getting rejected and my account got suspended for “fraudulent activities”.
Now several weeks later, my passport finally got approved, yet i still can’t go online even tho Uber said i’d be able to when my documents get approved. Every time I try to contact Uber they automatically say i’ve already contacted them about this issue, or just that my account has been suspended due to fraudulent activities.
Anyone got any ideas on how to possibly fix this? (Can’t call Uber nor go to hubs in my country, The Netherlands)
PS; i notice on the Uber site when i check my document status it says my ID is expired, but on the app it’s all approved

I’m coming here because I have no one else to talk to. I’m not sure if I will ever find real genuine love. I’m a plus size 28F who suffers from depression. I seldom go out which I know is part of the problem and when I get on dating apps… guys aren’t really looking for anything serious even if they say they are. I’m very nurturing and supportive.. I’d give anything for someone I love. And I mean that. I just want to feel like someone on this earth cares about me. When I do go on dates I already know the guy wants to fuck me.. and sometimes I give in especially if it’s been a yr or so since I’ve had any… but to actually find someone that cared about my day? Wow. Idk how I would feel. I feel broken and used. My parents are gone.. I really don’t have a lot of friends.. just 2 ppl who are out of state and I’m no contact with some family due to their addiction/behavior. I’m just alone. I crave love but will I ever get it? I feel suicidal… will I ever be loved like the couples I see? Maybe not.. who knows.
