Seterra maps

I am really interested in playing geo quizzes on jetpunk, sporcle and seterra. I spend around 6 hours a week on them and I could remember all countries’ names, capitals, flags, locations on map, and shapes. However, I have never participated in any quiz bowl. Would it be an interesting ecs on my profile?

I used to use Seterra’s UN member states game for the drag the flag to the map, but i think they discontinued that and a couple other modes :(
Anyone have similar websites?

Hi folks, I've been building an anki deck about geography stuff.
It basically contains flags, capitals and maps for countries and country subdivisions (don't have all them, but I'm getting there).
I've been making my own cards, by using screenshots from Seterra for the map part. I'd like to make that deck public now, but Seterra doesn't allow use of their content, so I'm looking for an open-source alternative. Do you know where I could find that ? I'd like to have every map in the same graphic style if possible.

As Geoguessr recently purchased Seterra I figured I'd post this here.
When playing UN Countries Quiz you constantly need to zoom in and zoom out, so I made this userstyle so the map will take the whole screen.
No more need to zoom in and zoom out!

This is a very difficult map that I created with the 220+ countries and territoires map as a basis. It includes many islands with special administrative status, most overseas territories, some island-regions (such as Tasmania or Hainan) and a few exclaves. I hope you’ll have as much fun with it as I had making it. Don’t hesitate giving me suggestions about territories I could add.

I use Seterra on my phone since it is more convenient, but the app hasn't been updated since forever. Even if there aren't most of the maps, would be possible to have all the provincial level maps in the future? Or is the app abandonware?

Hey, I found out on the Seterra tricks article available on the website that there is a URL code that makes appear the next question so you can be faster at clicking on the map. In the article, it says that you only have to had : « ?shownext=1 » to the URL of the game’s page. As an example, a modified link of the African countries is given and it works perfectly but whenever I try to do the same with another page, I only lands on a « oops something went wrong » page. If you guys have any hints on how to make this work, it would be great.

Seterra is that website for learning geography there are hundreds of quizzes and fill-in-the-map games and I'm looking for something along the same lines to teach me punctuation and grammar. Or any website you know that can teach English writing and stance structure.

People cross paths, becoming friends and maybe taking it further. By plan, they manage to talk to each other and enjoy each other’s company. Others seem to appear the opposite. One person may try to cross paths with the other person. They might try to start a conversation or ask for something, but no matter how hard they try, they will never cross paths.

The bell rang, signaling the students that class was over and that 7th period would begin. Thursday seemed to move incredibly slowly. He walked out of his classroom, going to his next class, which was next door. The door was usually closed, as opposed to today, in which the door was open. He peeked in, checking if it was okay to go in.
“Can I come in?” he asked.
“Yeah, come on in,” his teacher Mr. Kyle said. He was tall, dark, and cared for his students. He gave fist bumps to his students every day as they walked in the door. “Yeah, buddy.”
“Hi,” the student said. His days felt repetitious, even though he was enjoying them. The exact schedule seemed to play out every day: wake up, shower, go to school, go home, do homework, eat, sleep, restart. Every day felt like it was the same as before. Everyone who didn’t have their laptops took it out, opening Seterra. The boy scored one hundred percent the first time; he closed the tab and continued reading Heartstopper.
“Are you finished?” The assistant teacher asked, standing behind him.
“Yeah, I got one hundred the first time,” the boy said.
“Okay,” she walked away, looking for other students who were off task. Five minutes later, the timer rang; everyone looked up.
“Alright, everyone, put away your computers,” Mr. Kyle said, standing up from his chair and going to the whiteboard. “As you can see on the schedule, we’re going to play GeoGuessr.” He said. The class cheered; they weren’t working. The lights shut off as they decided which version of Latin America they wanted to play. “Alright, where do you guys think we are?”
“Look around for signs!” One of the students shouted. They looked around, seeing signs for directions to a park. The boy put his head down, closing his eyes. The door opened not long after, and a student stood in the doorway. He wore an olive green sweater. He had short, wavy, and unkempt hair.
“Are you our new transfer student?” Mr. Kyle asked. He nodded his head. “You can sit right there, next to Anthony.”
“Alright,” he walked over, put his bag down, and looked forward. Anthony looked at him, and his eyes widened.
“Oh, shit,” he whispered. He would have to sit with him for the rest of the year.
They were adjacent.
“Everyone, this is our new transfer student from Pasadena, Gabriel.” Mr. Kyle introduced Gabriel to the class. Everyone turned their heads, looking at him. Anthony looked next to him, studying his features. He was dark, had a rounder jawline, and appeared somewhat disinterested in the class. The rest went back to playing GeoGuessr. Anthony returned to wanting to sleep, pretending not to be intrigued by Gabriel. He glanced over at him, accidentally making eye contact. They stared at each other; Anthony wanted to say something. The words formulated in his head, and his heartbeat grew faster. Each passing moment made him feel more anxious. He tried forcing all the words out, but all that came out was a sigh.
“Dammit,” Anthony whispered, putting his head back in his elbows. “Why is it so fucking hard to talk?”
“Alright, guys, today, we’re going to be starting our new unit: Physical Geography of Latin America,” Mr. Kyle turned the lights back on. “We’re gonna be skimming over it, so please get your journals,” He said. The students stared at the board as Mr. Kyle taught. “Oh wait, Gabriel, do you have a journal?”
“Nah,” Gabriel shook his head.
“Alright,” Mr. Kyle went to one of his drawers and pulled out a red spiral notebook. “Here,” He handed the journal to the assistant teacher.
“You’re going to be taking notes in this. Make sure you write your name on it,” She said. Gabriel took out a permanent marker and wrote his name on it. He opened the notebook to its first page, writing down significant parts. Anthony glanced over at him, making eye contact with Gabriel again.
“What the hell?” Anthony looked away quickly. “Just say something!” He grew more frustrated with himself. He started drifting off into his thoughts, thinking of ways to start talking to him. The bell rang loudly, breaking his concentration. He packed up and ran out of the classroom, quickly walking to the middle school next to the high school. He started to wonder if he might break through his social anxiety. “Dammit…” Anthony groaned. He waited at the crosswalk for his younger brother, Adrien, who was in 8th grade. Gabriel lingered in his mind. His quietness intrigued Anthony. He felt compelled to talk to him and to try and start a conversation.
“Anthony!” Adrien yelled out.
“Adrien!” Anthony yelled back. They were brothers, but they were best friends despite the arguments. “Dude, mom’s already there,” Anthony said.
“Yeah, I know,” Adrien walked into the street. They talked as they walked to their mom, who was parked on the sidewalk next to the hospital. They put their bags in the trunk and went inside the car, Gabriel still on Anthony’s mind.
