A friend is dating a woman with a trans daughter (13). The woman has asked me questions about lgbtq issues because she doesn't have anyone in her life to ask (I'm cis lesbian). My best friend is trans so I've been able to help her with resources I know about as well as asking my bff.
Recently, on fb, she has been posting memories of her daughter and her brother from various times in their life. I told her posting pics pre transition is like deadnaming. She said it didn't matter bc her daughter isn't on fb. I told her it does matter for a variety of reasons. It tells cishet folks on her page that's ok and her daughter has lost her mind when she has been misgendered and doesn't like pictures or anything with her dead name on it around the house so it's extremely disrespectful.
I asked my friend why his gf keeps doing it and he also said it didn't matter because she's not on fb and then double downed with "can't a mother have her memories?!" Yeah, sure. In private. I'm a mom and if my kid came out to me, I would try to do things that I know all the trans people in my life don't like. I'd certainly never, ever post a pre transition pic again!
This is doubly irritating bc the mother is a good ally in some regards...has gotten her gender affirming care, supports how she wants to dress and things like this, but just for some reason can't stop doing this.
They're Jewish and it's like if I posted some meme about jews on ig that wasn't great and said "oh, it doesn't matter bc they're not on ig anyway" It does matter! And you can't guarantee your kid will never see your fb.
I'm not sure how else to try to get them to see this is messed up. You can't really ask the 13 year old for consent bc there is still the parent/child power dynamic. And I don't like that they aren't listening to a member of the lgbtq community about an issue that impacts trans people, during Pride month no less.
Ideas? Thoughts?

   1. It generates the ad copy and keywords using AI
   2. You can customize and review them before running the campaign
   3. You can also provide general brand-specific guidelines to generate the keywords and copy

Value:

• Because it's a single landing page promoting a single product, it loads faster than loading the whole website.
  
• It scales well as the demand increases.
  
• It has more focused ad targeting and each product variant can be targeted differently.
  

FAQs:

• Will there be a checkout?
  
  • The tool could either integrate a checkout process directly on the landing page or direct customers to your main store to complete their purchases.
• What about upselling?
  
  • This page can have links to other products in your main store.
• Do you need technical knowledge to use it?
  
  • The way I envision it, you don't even need knowledge of how to run ads. It handles it all with a single push of a button. Now obviously you can customize it all.
• Will all this be part of the product in version 1?
  
  • No. Like with any other product, I think it will start with a simple MVP that will develop over time. The MVP could include the core idea as a whole with some limitations.

Hi all,
I have bought a new laptop for college(ASUS VivoBook S 15 S3502RA-DB94) to replace my previous vivobook. On my previous laptop, arch Linux works flawlessly, gnome and kde, wayland. The new laptop has an AMD apu, so I expected it to be compatible. However, it hasn't been working well.
(Here is the output of lscpu and lspci if needed) First install(kde/wayland) it worked fine for a day, then it refused to connect to wifi, and crashed when I clicked "disconnect" on the network. Rebooting from there would drop me into an unresponsive tty shell.
I have reinstalled Arch dozens of times since. Subsequent installs have not worked. Some installs worked for a few hours, only to crap out a few hours later. Installing with gnome, kde(both x11 and wayland) never end up working(kde x11 doesn't even get to sddm, just stuck on the systemctl screen).
After a fresh install with kde and wayland, sddm does one of three things:

• Is completely unresponsive to clicks typing, etc. ctrl+alt+number for tty either does nothing or brings me to a blank black screen
• Is responsive and lets me type my password, but after typing password and pressing enter, it just sits there doing nothing. This is most common. TTY is also unresponsive. If I go to TTY before entering the password, it switches and lets me login, but then proceeds to freeze a few seconds in. I have tried increasing the entropy as the wiki suggests (with rngtools) with no success. I cant really do anything cause TTY doesnt work.
• sddm logs me in, but wont connect to wifi, and I cannot run a command on konsole. After pressing enter on a command it goes to a blank newline and does nothing. Other apps are extremly slow to load and eventually kde just freezes.

This journalctl is from when I mistype my password then sddm completely freezes.
This one is one where it lets me in, but wifi doesnt connect and command give out after I try installing kde-network(with usb tethered internet from phone)
^ These arent what happens every time, but just some instances.
When wifi fails to connect, an error along the lines of "no agents supplied" pops up.
I've made sure my /home folder is owned by me, not root Adding this to sddm didnt work: ExecStartPre=/bin/sleep 5
Gnome is more consistent with only 1 fail: Entering the password just leads to endless loading on gdm. Here is the journalctl of a boot where this happens. I see many errors with gdm and pam, idk what they mean tho. Here is the journalctl from a boot where I tried to go to TTY but it froze
I also did an Ubuntu install, the system worked until I rebooted, then gdm got really laggy and it wouldnt wake when opening the lid.
Any ideas? I want this laptop to work really badly since my previous one really cant keep up with my workload. Is the laptop just not compatible? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Long time diablo fan, i still have my D3 poster i got standing in line for the midnight release in 2012. Ive waited for this day for a long time. I've played sorc and necro to about level 25 and the game play loses its excitement. It feels like a running simulator with the mob density of World of Warcraft. The world feels empty and the bosses are easy on the highest difficulty I can set it to, except one or two bosses that are drastically more difficult. I'll concede I'm only getting to mid Act 2 but damn do I lose interest quick. Most builds I've wanted to play suck so I'm I've found myself playing unfun builds just so I don't hit like a wet noodle.
Any recommendations? I'm gonna try barb next, which was the last class I'm actually interested in, and if that's not fun then I'm just gonna try the twisting blades rogue or whatever the fastest build is just to get to endgame.

Hi husky owners or who know them well I have a problem with mine… I got him when he was like 2months old and to this day he still doesn’t ‘talk’. He does make sound here and there but it’s not a howl or a bark please help me with some advise thank you.

Back in January I subluxated my knee in cheer. I did rehab and it was feeling better. I tweaked it about three times since the injury doing random things (climbing onto a boat, someone bumping into me, etc) but each time it would just be sore for a few days and got better again with exercise and rehab.
A few days ago, however, I was playing volleyball with friends and it popped again. It was hurting a bit but I was doing exercises and it was feeling better. Then last night I was out with some friends and I leaned back and bent my knees and my knee just gave out and I fell. It popped again and I was trying to massage it. It was hurting but not insanely badly until around 2am when I started getting very painful shooting pains down my knee, calf, shin and ankle. My hip is also sore. The pain was so bad I couldn’t sleep the entire night. It was nonstop for about 7 hours until finally my dad decided to take me to the hospital. They took an X-Ray and nothing is broken, and I have to make an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon to get an MRI in the next few days. They think it might be a small tear because my kneecap is a little high, but not a full one because I can still bend it and put some weight on it. They prescribed me Percocet, but painkillers are honestly not helping much. I finally slept for about five hours, but the pain started up again when I woke up. It has been nonstop shooting pain for about 17 hours now. My toes and foot and also feel tingly which feel a little better when I try to stretch my hamstring and calf. My friend told me her cousin tore her ACL once and had very similar symptoms, so that’s what I am worried about. It’s not even so much the knee itself that is in so much pain, it’s the calf and shin that hurt so much.
Does anyone have insight on what might be going on? I’ll have more answers when I get the MRI, but I’m in so much pain I’m desperate for some answers. What should I do about painkillers not really working too?

I'm sure people will recommend reading the manual, watching some videos, reading about regulations, getting a Fly More kit and taking the TRUST, but are there any more lesser known tips or advice that anyone can share? I'm really looking forward to getting into this hobby and was going to get the Mini 3 w/ RC and Fly More bundle for $800 but I eventually decided I would like the obstacle avoidance and active track since I'm a beginner and I figure those will be helpful to a newbie. It was an extra $110 and I won't get 2 extra batteries but I know I'll want to get some extras ASAP. I think I'll be okay for a couple weeks with just the one for now though. I'm also gonna purchase the 2yr Care Refresh service, though does anyone think I shouldn't get the Care service? I feel like it's a no brainer for a newbie but it brings the purchase over $1,000, which is a good deal of money to me at the moment. I also plan on getting a hood for the RC controller to shield it from the sun, as well as a landing pad, SD cards, maybe a strobe light and a case of course. Anything else I should plan on purchasing, accessory-wise?

I have never taken a chemistry class before and I will be taking chem130/125/126 in the fall. I want to basically learn the material beforehand over the summer because I've heard that class is the equivalent of AP chem and I haven't even taken regular chem. I've also heard that intro chem at umich is extremely hard. On Khan Academy there is no regular chem course, just AP chem.
Do you recommend taking AP chem on Khan to prepare & does it help?
Is taking AP chem on Khan hard/not doable if I haven't taken regular chem?

I built myself a PC a few months back but it has developed a very strange problem in that every now and then it will completely freeze while I'm watching Twitch/Youtube and then when I turn it off I get the flashing power light, fans spinning, graphics card lighting up but no boot and no power to mouse and keyboard.
I can fix it by removing all of my sticks of RAM and starting it with 1 of them, then adding another and starting it until all four are back in...and it will work perfectly fine until it happens again. Could be a couple of weeks, could be a few days until it does it again...happened 4 times now. One time when it came back it seemed to have lost my graphics drivers and they needed reinstalling but that's about it.
I've built a load of PCs before but never had something like this with such a weird "fix". I literally have no idea at all what sort of problem that could even fix? It's weird.
Most of the PC is new stuff, half the RAM and the hard drives came from my old PC though.
Specs are:
Gigabyte B760 DS3H DDR4 (LGA 1700) DDR4 ATX Motherboard Core i5 13400F EVGA 700 Watt BQ Semi Modular RX 6800XT 4x Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB 2400MHz DDR4 (16gb from old PC but exact same type as new)
One of my four ram sticks that came from the old PC has always ran at 2133mhz for no apparent reason, never got around to replacing it as it's been fine for the past 4 years...but its the only thing in any way out of the ordinary.
Any idea what the problem might be? Help much appreciated.

I'm seeking assistance in dealing with a challenging tenant situation. I own a duplex in Minneapolis, MN, and I've been facing difficulties with one of the tenants since the beginning of their lease.
Initially, the tenant had trouble making rent payments after their first deposit. As time went on, they reported an issue with the heating in their unit, which is a significant concern in Minnesota's cold winters. I promptly responded by calling an HVAC technician to address the problem. The technician discovered an issue with the boiler, which was not surprising considering the age of the property. He managed to fix the boiler that evening but presented me with an invoice for additional repairs.
After discussing the matter with the knowledgeable technicians and their sales representative, I made the decision to upgrade the entire furnace. I wanted to ensure that my tenants wouldn't have to deal with any further heating issues. Consequently, I had a $14,000 boiler installed, which has been functioning properly for a couple of weeks now.
Unfortunately, another complaint arose from the same tenant, claiming that their unit wasn't getting hot enough. I had another technician inspect the unit, and they discovered that the tenant had been covering the radiator units with furniture or closing the vents. The technician explained that although the radiators are old and not the most efficient, they should provide adequate heating when used correctly. He also noted that the temperature in the unit was around 68 degrees. To accommodate any inconveniences during the coldest days, I provided three space heaters.
Fast forward a few months, and the tenant has now gone without paying rent for several months. In the past, there have been similar instances where the tenant has gone for extended periods without paying, and my property manager has had to intervene and seek support from the city to resolve the issue. Eventually, the rent has been paid, and I've been understanding of the challenges the tenant faces, particularly as they have children. However, this time it seems the tenant has realized how flexible I've been and is trying to exploit the situation.
Despite multiple attempts to collect the rent, I recently instructed my property manager to serve the tenant with a Notice to Quit, indicating the amount owed, which exceeds $4,000. In response, the tenant stated that they are attempting to find the money but will ultimately refuse to leave because the previous heating issue, along with some new issues, were not resolved. These new issues, such as broken window locks and non-functional smoke detectors, were not present when the tenant moved in and were caused by their actions.
While these additional fixes, apart from the heating issue not meeting their standards, are easily manageable, it is clear that the tenant is attempting to take advantage of the situation. Correct me if I'm mistaken, but I did not have to issue a Notice to Quit since the tenant is under a lease agreement in Minnesota. I only did so to avoid tarnishing their rental record through an eviction.
My question to all of you is what course of action should I take? Should I proceed with the eviction process? Does the tenant have a valid claim under the laws of habitability regarding the heating issues, despite my efforts to go above and beyond to resolve them? I'm currently trying to locate transcripts of my communication with the technician regarding the heating issue in the tenant's unit. I do have records of the new installation and multiple documented appointments with the technicians who have inspected the property.
Any advice or insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
