You're the one
You're the one who hears this song
The only one
The only one
The only one who hears this song
And it's something that I dread
Because it's something that you read
It's just something in your head,
From this page that I bled, but
I'm sorry, love
Don't worry, cause
It's just a paper cut.
Do-do -do -do -do -so - so
So it's something that you heard
Just a couple little words
Because it's something that I said
That got stuck in your heyaheyaheya Ed
It's a subtle little curse
This one little verse
That will never be heard
Doo doo doo doo doo doo
Do do do do do do
Da da da da dadada
You're the one
You're the one
The only one who hears this song.
The only one

2023.05.16 18:02 cody0409128 Remix, Techno/house track with pitched female voice (fast) ("the only one")
Hello, since quit a while theres a song stuck in my head, but it is only one short part I can remember from the hook I think. It sounds like a remix I think with a high pitched voice (I think female) and it is rather fast in the style of techno or house. The line I can remember goes something like: She´s the only one, is the only one that da da da dadada... and it repeats I think. Thanks for everyone that is helping me with this <3

2023.05.11 18:03 foreveraloneeveryday [TOMT][Song] Classic rock song with a recognizable intro that sounds similar to Ramblin Man.
This has been driving me crazy for 2 weeks. I always get it confused with Ramblin Man by the Allman Brothers because it sounds similar to the solo. I only know the intro but the same guitar verse plays throughout the song. It's something like badada da DA da da dada dadadada, badada da DA da da dada dadadada. I think it's 2 guitars harmonized.
Not much to go on but I've had no luck.

2023.05.08 05:40 According_Hand8637 Scene Where Cartoon Character Sings the Classic Horse Race Fanfare Tune?
This has been driving me nuts. All I can remember or that comes to mind is the quick clip where the character (a minor, side character) is energized over something and he kinda scats out the classic horse race fanfare (dum dadada dumdum da dumdum da dumdum dadaaa) and gets cut off right after it. I THINK it might’ve been a chef but could be wrong. That’s all I’ve got, it’s been on the tip of my tongue all day. My friends think I’m referring to a family guy clip of the broken-legged horse but that’s not it.

2023.04.21 10:52 anewfaceinthecrowd Song Review: "You've lost that lovin' feeling".
For me this song has always been an Elvis song. It wasn't until much later I realised there were other famous versions. But Elvis elevates it to a whole different level.
I will try to give a play by play of the version from the Midnight Show on August 12, 1970 at the International Hotel.
Disclaimer: I am not a native English speaker, and I know nothing about describing music with music terminology.
----
The song starts of with the quiet but insisting heartbeat of just the bass lasting a whole two bars. Then the gentle sound of the electric guitar grows on top of the beat, before finally adding the twinkling sound of the high hat on the drums. Dum dum-dum. Dum dum-dum. This minimalistic and long intro feels intriguing and mysterious.
And then...Elvis' deep voice. "You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips". Quiet, insisting, mournful. As he sings the intensity of his voice keeps on growing and then he goes "you're trying hard not to show it, baby" before we are treated to the warm echo of "baby" from the Sweet Inspirations.
Then suddenly, the deep roar from the depths of his soul, Elvis growls/yells "BABY!" with the rough force of a desperate man. And then to each beat of the drum: "Baby I know it!" Followed by the best most satisfying drum roll ever - dadadaDA setting the stage for the power chorus we are about to witness:
"You've lost that lovin' feeling!" Elvis sings with passion and power. His voice perfectly blended with The Sweets, the Stamps, the band, the horns and the strings. Everyone is giving their all. It feels like a choir singing it together and not just a solist with a back up group. They are one powerful voice.
The chorus quiets down again by the beat of drum between each word:"Now it's gone, gone gone". Followed by Elvis leading the song on to the next verse by mourning "woah woah woaahh" And a sexy little "yeah" before once again treating us to his deep voice in the second verse: "There's no tenderness in your eyes when I reach out for you...." (On TTWII Elvis begins the verse "you never" before quickly correcting himself).
Elvis voice is back with the mournful sound during the second verse. I believe him when he almost cries "It makes me just feel like crying, baby". And here we go again with that deep roar: "BABY!!! "Something's beautiful's dying!" He yells it, and I am listening!
The second chorus is even more powerful. The drums are front and center to really stress every single word he sings.
But what is that? A slight shift in the notes and the vibe. I am intrigued once again by the stripped down intro to the bridge where he goes from mournful to playful pleading: "Baby baby, I get down on my knees for you...." and of course his classic joke "If this suit weren't too tight". I have always loved how he broke "the fourth wall" here.
He once again builds up the intensity during the bridge and with his raw, coarse almost growling vocals he keeps trying to convince his woman to give their love a second try, bringing forth evidence of their past love - all the time echoed by the Sweets.
Elvis then begins to climb the tonal scale to perfection and on beat to "So dont, don't don't, don't take it away" before he once again desperately pleads and insists from bottom of his heart: "Listen to me, talking to you!"'
And it all explodes in yet another power chorus but this time with the prayer "BRING BACK that lovin' feeling"! And he keeps pleading and singing his heart out with passion until the chorus once again ebbs and he and quietly sings "And I can't go go on" - whoa whoa woaah...
As the twinkle from the high hat spreads like glitter over the last part of the song the audience then begins to applaud and the band then gives the huge power ending we are so used to with Elvis in the 70s.
But what is happening! Elvis repeats "whoa whoa woaah..." and then goes right back to the bridge once again! WOW! "BRING BACK THAT LOVIN' FEELING! WOAH!"
He is taking it to church now!
The chorus ones again begins to descend and as the Sweets pleads "Bring back that lovin' feeling", Elvis answers yearningly: woaahh....and interjects a sweet "dear lord" before the band rises to the big bombastic finale and the roaring applause.
Almost 7 minutes in heaven. "You've lost that lovin' feeling" is sung with both quiet yearning and powerful pleading, a song that is communicating with the varied highs and lows, sometimes holding back and then giving it all.
One of my absolute favourites.
According to chatgpt (who first insisted TWICE that Elvis never performed or released this song) he performed it 10 times in concert during the 70s.
I hoped you enjoyed this little beat-by-beat review:)

2023.04.17 02:13 SexySurvivor My day
Workmen arrive in an urban park
There is a big playground next to you
They drive some digger thing the size of a Bobcat digger with a gigantic corkscrew on the end, swinging pendulously
An old man says 'that's a big hole digger' and you glance to check if he's speaking to you, and reply 'yes I'm curious to see what they're going to do'
They lay up black and yellow tape to cordon off a zone
Scoot away about 12 parents and their kids, who merrily comply
The workmen are two 25 year olds and they are joined promptly by a third in a separate vehicle
He crawls through the park at 4kmh with the song playing 'it's gonna take some time, da dadada, gonna be just fine, over and over gonna be just fine' that one
He does a 12 point turn to arrange his vehicle in an open field in a particular way
He looks like he wants a cigarette
They're erecting a pillar for a solar shade for the playground -- there are already two shade sails but the locals must have successfully leaned on the local council for another
You think of how the $5-10m houses behind you just get racked by dog and kid noise all day from this urban park (it's an outlier pocket of genuine wealth in an otherwise yupster-middle-class area -- they got the only park around you see)
And that's me morning today
Off to work in a second -- had my pain au choclat and cafe
Ciao

2023.04.09 20:29 I_dont_bone_goats [TOMT][SONG][70’s-80’s(?)]R&B song, possibly by Marvin Gaye, that starts very quietly with scatting, used in movies frequently
That’s really all I got, I believe it’s by Marvin Gaye but could really be any soul/R&B singer.
I have this memory of some 80’s/90’s detective movie or something starting with shots of a city waking up, with this song playing.
I believe it’s used pretty frequently in films.
It’s silly to write this but the scatting goes something like “da-dadada-da”

2023.04.09 05:19 OneWhoGetsBread I am the timpanist for my community college and I am playing the Timpani parts for the first 4 Planets by myself
Oh man it has been a journey!! We are having our concert on May 4th so we're almost there but Ive fallen in love with the physical and mental challenge the Parts are for jupiter!!
I could kinda play the main theme at the beginning all on 1 drum just by really fast pedaling, but overall i think I am still physically unable to get 20% of the song down lol
My favourite part is the 3/4 section where I get the melody with the brass instruments. I play the part with Glockenspiel mallets so its very punchy and distinch, but I avoid the Low G since the drums I play on reach the higher G on the bass clef
The most fun part is the Presto section where I just blast the bum bum bumbum dadada bum da bum bum part, one stick hitting the low G drum and the right stick hitting the C 🤣
