It's possible to run desktop environments such as KDE and GNOME in Distrobox as well as window managers like IceWM. This sparked my interest and I'd like to run Sway/Wayland in Distrobox using MicroOS.
Here's what I've tried unsuccessfully after a clean installation of MicroOS Container Host:

Using the sway pattern (outside of Distrobox) was enough when I previously used OpenSuSE Tumbleweed as my host OS since it defaulted to logind. However, systemd-logind service isn't actually present in a container even if you try to run it as PID 1:

This time sway is able to locate logind but there's still permission errors. With debug mode (sway -d), this is all I could gather:

Hello everyone,
I have been accepted into two universities, but I’m not sure which one I should choose.
1st option: Chinese studies in a big city, different country.
2nd option: Editorship and publishing in a small city, in my own country.
The price for both is around the same and no problem for me.
My family and friends (who study there) want me to go to the big city, since I have better prospects for work and life in general there. My problem is - I don’t really want to live and work there after uni, nor do I think Chinese studies on its own will help me find a job in the future. I do like the languages and literature, and that is the main reason I am considering this path. I also do not think I would be able to learn them on my own, if I choose the 2nd option.
2nd option is better for my future career, but I would only be able to work in my home country with this one (I would be studying mostly my own native language). I’m considering it because it is a sphere I always wanted to work in. It is also a big unknown, since I do not know anyone studying there, and there are not many reviews on this university, on the internet. So I do not know the quality of this university. The only person who has studied in this city, long time ago, at a different uni says the whole place is a “shithole”. Also this is the only uni in my country, that offers this program.
So which one sounds better?

TL;DR: I tried to contact my son in heaven through Ayahuasca and went from hell to heaven during rituals.
I lost my wonderful 15 yrs old son last year due to a tragic accident. With my daughter, he was everything to me. After his passing, I fell into darkness, sorrow and suicidal instincts. I simply couldn't function and wanted only to die every second of the day. I simply couldn't think about a life without him; even if I still have daughter, it wasn't enough. The pain was (is) so unbearable that I simply wanted it to stop and reach my son to see him again.
I have this Brazilian female friend and I told her what happened to me. She slowly started to teach me what Mother Ayahuasca is and how it could help facing this inhuman loss. I live in a country where Ayahuasca is not legal so I didn't even thought to try a ritual. Also, I was not convinced about the Psychedelic aspect of it.
Eventually she suggested me to reach her in Brazil that she would have helped me getting in touch with some Shamans and try the Medicine.
The alternative was to take my life so at the end I planned my journey in Brazil, hoping to connect with my beloved son in someway.
So the time for the first ritual arrived. I was introduced to this Shaman (a man) who, strangely enough, was dark dressed, while I was suggested to be white dressed. I had a white T-shirt with the picture of my son printed on it. This ritual was only me and him. He set up some Ayahuasca music and candles. It started at night, with the dark, into an apartment. I took the first dose .. waited 30 minutes: nothing. Second dose, same outcome: I was feeling simply nothing. The shaman, seeing maybe a bit of resistance in my body, gave me a "robust" third dose ... and oh God .. after 20 minutes I start to feel a bit different. I was hit by strong nausea and after a while I started to have visions, either with open or closed eyes. It was by far the scariest experience I had in my life. I literally faced hell and demons and a pair of demon wings appeared on my back. I was terrified. I wanted it to stop and asked help to the Shaman, but as you can imagine, it was not possible. I went on for maybe 4 hours (although the feeling of time is different during rituals) to feel really bad things and having visions of dark, hell, human organs, thorns. It seemed that Mother Ayahuasca was angry with me. After a while I started to purge, A LOT. I purged like many times split in 3 main periods. I could feel the purge relief effect, but it was short because after one purge, nausea and scary visions came back, maybe even stronger. Eventually, the effect slowly finished and I felt grateful it was finished, repeating myself that I will NEVER have done something like that even in a thousand years.
I then asked the Shaman for explanations: how is that possible that I came here to meet my beloved son in heaven and I went to hell ? What's happened ? Well he told me that my EGO was just crushed by Mother Ayahuasca and that from now on, I will have been more pure to ascend in some way to my son. I was not happy but I could feel 100% that something happened to my EGO. I mean something big.
I was reluctant to experience a second ritual but I decided to attend, because I wanted to meet/feel my son in someway, like (as I read) others in the same situation experienced.
Then this second ritual started on a beautiful beach, during the daylight, with a different Shaman, a woman. Music frequency was different too. This time, before starting, I was extremely scared and was keeping Archangel Michael chain in my hand asking for protection against demons. I was soooo different, my EGO was so small compared to the first ritual. Again I was a bit resistant to the medicine and after the second strong dose .. the experience started. I get shivers even now, remembering what I was shown and what I felt thanks to Mother Ayahuasca .. I literally went to this astral universe .. witnessed the creation of the universe and felt God energy. An infinite amount of love caused by some kind of explosion of energy hit my chest in a way that I didn't think was possible. I witnessed also my son energy; even if I didn't talk to him, I clearly felt his presence, his soul, HIS LOVE. I was in tears for hours. In a nutshell, I FELT infinite and unconditional love. I'd say that I FELT more than I SAW. You FEEL something during rituals instead of "mere" psychedelics visions. Mind blowing, unbelievable to say the least.
When my trip ended, I came back home as a very different human being. Also my family could notice that and told me that.
Unfortunately, over time, I felt that this beautiful effect was fading more and more. I tried to "integrate" everything I learned from Mother Ayahuasca but for me it didn't work well. Of course I have more insight on what could exist and on where my beloved son could be now .. but still the pain is so much overwhelming that I feel I'd need to repeat it multiple times. It is a bit inconvenient and unfair to have to travel around the world to experience the medicine so for now I just wait and see.

She was my main emotional support, almost all of my happiness & my closest friend. I'm so angry at myself for letting myself rely on her so much when there was so much uncertainty surrounding our relationship. I just thought I was strong enough to deal with it. She couldn't even give me a timeframe of when we would next see each other, or if she would even be in the country at the end of the year.
There was a time in the relationship when she said that if we fall in love she'll stay in Melbourne. There was a time when she was applying to jobs in Melbourne as a reason to stay, she was definitely looking at staying & I clung to that. We even briefly talked about doing some travelling together. It made it harder when she left. I do feel like I've been messed around a bit & I turned into an inconvenience to her. She knew how much I wanted her to stay, even though I never asked her to. She said it felt like there was a lot of pressure on her, which I do understand. She never meant to fall in love either. But I feel we could have come up with some kind of plan, but she just wouldn't. She is just kind of winging it...
I understand she was following her dreams & I do truly hope she has a lovely time, but it just felt like I was not being considered in any future plans. There was absolutely no certainty in any aspect of the relationship outside of us being in love.
We started as housemates & kissed about a week in, I knew I was going to fall for her as soon as I went back into my room. The next day I realised how messy the situation would be: were housemates so the fallout could be terrible, her brother is also living with us, she is planning on leaving, I have doubts of how I'll handle heartbreak etc. So I tried to call it off, she convinced me that it was a good idea so we continued.
Then, and this is where I really mess up, a few weeks later the fears come back. After spending every single night together in the same bed I think I'm starting to fall in love with her & I tell her this is a bad idea and I can't to it. She kicks me out of bed & I go for a walk. I realise that I've made a mistake & that I don't care if it's going to hurt, that I do love her & have not stopped thinking about her since that first kiss. I plead my case & she took me back that night, obviously still a bit upset with me.
The next four months spent living with her have been the best of my life. Romantic weekends away, going out together, cooking together, sleeping together, doing almost everything together. I can confidently say that I was a lovely boyfriend in this time, I would regularly buy her flowers, gifts, send her poetry and let her know how much special she is to me. She was equally as wonderfully lovely too, I had never experienced love like she gave me.
Then I'm at work & I get a text saying work approved of her transfer. We had talked about this & in my mind I knew it was coming but my heart still believed she would stay. This brought up a lot of abandonment issues & I took them out on her. I was moody, visibly upset that she was leaving & distant. That said, I did find out my little sister has just tried to kill herself in this time so there was probably a bit of that going on too. But this all just made her feel extra pressure, something she did tell me she struggles with. I do wish I could have kept it together for her.
After I found out she was going I asked my friend to convince me not to break up with her as I couldn't see how we would work with all of the uncertainties. She had no plan of her travels, and was completely honest about not being able to give me any kind of certainty for the indefinite future. He said he couldn't see the romance in it & that it was the right thing to do. I didn't accept that & called up my little sister, she said the same thing and then told me shes in hospital. During the next few days I am a bad boyfriend: cold, distant and moody. I felt so guilty about thinking about breaking up with her, some of the childhood issues resurface, little sister & I don't cope. I finally find a friend who has been in a long distance relationship, giving me hope & I use that. I tell my girlfriend in bed that I was thinking about breaking up with her & she's furious, she's angry at me for how I treated her during this time & says she feels insecure in the relationship. I do my best to make it up to her, show up at her work with a rose, even tell her some details of my mother leaving when I was a kid in hopes for her to understand why I'm struggling. We make up, have a nice few days & then she leaves.
3 weeks of long distance were tough. I'm clingy and she's busy. We have small arguments, she feels pressured by me. Her reception is problematic, stressed with the travels, living situation, work etc. We barely talk. We call maybe 5 times in this time period, all requiring my to stay up until 12-4am for a 10 minute phone call. She's tired from all the stress. This all makes me feel very insecure in the relationship & I tell her how I feel and ask her to please send me a picture of her every day & let's try and organise a time we can call eachother. She doesn't send a picture more often than she does & she can't help organise a time to call. This eventually leads to me asking her to promise me that she's not going to break up with me when I next see her, which is in a short time. I had organised a flight to see my sister once she was out of hospital & my gf happened to be in the same area. When I ask her to promise me she freaks, saying how much pressure she feels. When I tell her I'm coming soon she freaks, saying she doesn't need someone following her around Australia- I tell her that broke my heart & have to explain that I'm going over for my suicidal sibling, and I do hope to see her too.
She stays with me when I fly over at my childhood home, we have a decent few days but I can't help be angry with her. I'm overwhelmed with being back at home again, worried about my little sister & frustrated with myself & her with how the last month has unfolded. I give some stupid input into her relationship with her brother which wasn't my business & comes off as snobby. She's angry again & we have a bad day. We go out that night & I snap at her while drunk, we raise our voices a bit & don't talk much for the next hour. Hours up & I sit down to apologise, saying how stressful this all is for me & then I misunderstand what she says- I thought she was taking the piss about how I can't look after my siblings. I storm off & leave her & her 24yo brother in town on their own, requiring them to get a taxi back to my place. She explains that I took her words incorrectly & I try to apologise as much as possible. Next few days are bad & I decide that this isn't working, that we are barely in a relationship & that won't change for the indefinite future. That I'm at a point in my life where I need to focus on myself & that this isn't fair on either of us. I once again try to get some kind of certainty of when I'll see her again and she can't give me one, saying she now wants to live in as many countries as she can before 30 & that she can't promise she'll be in the country at the end of the year. I tell her I can't do this anymore. We end amicably, have a reasonably nice last few days & she provides hope for the future.
We continue to text as regularly as the 3 weeks apart & I have a bad day a week and a half in. I make a Reddit post listing all of the bad things I did in the relationship, saying how I regret breaking up & then I beg her to take me back over text. She has none of it, reminding me that I've broken us up so many times before & that I can't act like this. I'm still acting clingy to this day, I just can't find a way to deal with this. A lot of my childhood stuff has come back during this time & it's tough.
I just don't know how to deal with this. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any opinions of how I handled it?

I am a 37 year old male, and am jn pretty good health, minus some extra body fat. I am 6', 235lbs and smoke weed. I take Vitamin D, Fish Oil, Magnesium and Vitamin B Complex regularly. I am traveling to Kenya in September and I have read quite a bit about vaccine recommendations. My PCP doctor literally Googled vaccine recommendations when I asked him, and he said from what he read from CDC, he recommended Yellow Fever and Typhoid vaccinations with malaria pills. I have already purchased the malaria pills for $145 :( , but now, after more research, reading CDC myself and discussing with my friends in Kenya, I don't know if the Yellow Fever vaccine is worth getting in the US prior to travel. It's $290 here and at most, $35 there. I know there are some potential side effects that would be better experienced at home. The Typhoid vaccine is $100 at the county health department. I've also read that Rabies and Meningitis is recommended in some areas. I will be primarily in Nairobi area and traveling one weekend to Mombasa. Any recommendations or sources?

This may be a bit long, so I apologize in advance.
I (F22) recently graduated college in December with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and minor in Business Analytics. Since then I have moved back home and all year have been applying and interviewing with various companies in my city relevant to my degree, but no luck so far. I had a handful of internships in college and was pretty involved, so it has been discouraging, but I am keeping in mind it takes time and the job market isn't all that great right now.
However, my biggest fear ever is having the typical corporate job that causes a lot of stress and where I feel like I can't escape. I can't picture myself working a soul sucking job and it makes me feel worse that I have a business degree, which many jobs can be sales or corporate. My mom works corporate sales and although she makes good money, she highly advises me not to follow in her path because of how draining it can be. I can never see myself doing anything besides something creative or even owning my own business.
Luckily I feel comfortable living at home for now, have about $2k in savings, and the only bills/responsibilities I really have is student loan payments. I started an Etsy shop, which helps feed my creative and entrepreneurial side, but it doesn't make that much money if I wanted to support myself, at least not yet.
I know your 20s are to "figure yourself out", but it's discouraging seeing on LinkedIn other classmates immediately getting these fancy jobs out of college and seemingly having it figured out.
Basically I am making this post to see if I should stick to my degree or sort of expand outwards. I thought about becoming a pharmacy technician so I have something solid to do for now, and there seems to be a lot of room for growth. I am also thinking an elementary school art teacher could be something I could easily thrive in. Would it be crazy of me to switch gears a bit and become an art teacher? I was always interested in the creative side of marketing versus business/analytical. It's my first love & my first heartbreak but I'm genuinely wondering what the point is. All I can do is think about her & what could have been, wishing I could be the person I am but just can't be right now. I am still terrified of losing her and she's not even here. The thought of her being with someone else is driving me insane, but at the same time it was the right decision to break up. It is so fucking frustrating!
She was my main emotional support, almost all of my happiness & my closest friend. I'm so angry at myself for letting myself rely on her so much when there was so much uncertainty surrounding our relationship. I just thought I was strong enough to deal with it. She couldn't even give me a timeframe of when we would next see each other, or if she would even be in the country at the end of the year.
There was a time in the relationship when she said that if we fall in love she'll stay in Melbourne. There was a time when she was applying to jobs in Melbourne as a reason to stay, she was definitely looking at staying & I clung to that. We even briefly talked about doing some travelling together. It made it harder when she left. I do feel like I've been messed around a bit & I turned into an inconvenience to her. She knew how much I wanted her to stay, even though I never asked her to. She said it felt like there was a lot of pressure on her, which I do understand. She never meant to fall in love either. But I feel we could have come up with some kind of plan, but she just wouldn't. She is just kind of winging it...
I understand she was following her dreams & I do truly hope she has a lovely time, but it just felt like I was not being considered in any future plans. There was absolutely no certainty in any aspect of the relationship outside of us being in love.
We started as housemates & kissed about a week in, I knew I was going to fall for her as soon as I went back into my room. The next day I realised how messy the situation would be: were housemates so the fallout could be terrible, her brother is also living with us, she is planning on leaving, I have doubts of how I'll handle heartbreak etc. So I tried to call it off, she convinced me that it was a good idea so we continued.
Then, and this is where I really mess up, a few weeks later the fears come back. After spending every single night together in the same bed I think I'm starting to fall in love with her & I tell her this is a bad idea and I can't to it. She kicks me out of bed & I go for a walk. I realise that I've made a mistake & that I don't care if it's going to hurt, that I do love her & have not stopped thinking about her since that first kiss. I plead my case & she took me back that night, obviously still a bit upset with me.
The next four months spent living with her have been the best of my life. Romantic weekends away, going out together, cooking together, sleeping together, doing almost everything together. I can confidently say that I was a lovely boyfriend in this time, I would regularly buy her flowers, gifts, send her poetry and let her know how much special she is to me. She was equally as wonderfully lovely too, I had never experienced love like she gave me.
Then I'm at work & I get a text saying work approved of her transfer. We had talked about this & in my mind I knew it was coming but my heart still believed she would stay. This brought up a lot of abandonment issues & I took them out on her. I was moody, visibly upset that she was leaving & distant. That said, I did find out my little sister has just tried to kill herself in this time so there was probably a bit of that going on too. But this all just made her feel extra pressure, something she did tell me she struggles with. I do wish I could have kept it together for her.
After I found out she was going I asked my friend to convince me not to break up with her as I couldn't see how we would work with all of the uncertainties. She had no plan of her travels, and was completely honest about not being able to give me any kind of certainty for the indefinite future. He said he couldn't see the romance in it & that it was the right thing to do. I didn't accept that & called up my little sister, she said the same thing and then told me shes in hospital. During the next few days I am a bad boyfriend: cold, distant and moody. I felt so guilty about thinking about breaking up with her, some of the childhood issues resurface, little sister & I don't cope. I finally find a friend who has been in a long distance relationship, giving me hope & I use that. I tell my girlfriend in bed that I was thinking about breaking up with her & she's furious, she's angry at me for how I treated her during this time & says she feels insecure in the relationship. I do my best to make it up to her, show up at her work with a rose, even tell her some details of my mother leaving when I was a kid in hopes for her to understand why I'm struggling. We make up, have a nice few days & then she leaves.
3 weeks of long distance were tough. I'm clingy and she's busy. We have small arguments, she feels pressured by me. Her reception is problematic, stressed with the travels, living situation, work etc. We barely talk. We call maybe 5 times in this time period, all requiring my to stay up until 12-4am for a 10 minute phone call. She's tired from all the stress. This all makes me feel very insecure in the relationship & I tell her how I feel and ask her to please send me a picture of her every day & let's try and organise a time we can call eachother. She doesn't send a picture more often than she does & she can't help organise a time to call. This eventually leads to me asking her to promise me that she's not going to break up with me when I next see her, which is in a short time. I had organised a flight to see my sister once she was out of hospital & my gf happened to be in the same area. When I ask her to promise me she freaks, saying how much pressure she feels. When I tell her I'm coming soon she freaks, saying she doesn't need someone following her around Australia- I tell her that broke my heart & have to explain that I'm going over for my suicidal sibling, and I do hope to see her too.
She stays with me when I fly over at my childhood home, we have a decent few days but I can't help be angry with her. I'm overwhelmed with being back at home again, worried about my little sister & frustrated with myself & her with how the last month has unfolded. I give some stupid input into her relationship with her brother which wasn't my business & comes off as snobby. She's angry again & we have a bad day. We go out that night & I snap at her while drunk, we raise our voices a bit & don't talk much for the next hour. Hours up & I sit down to apologise, saying how stressful this all is for me & then I misunderstand what she says- I thought she was taking the piss about how I can't look after my siblings. I storm off & leave her & her 24yo brother in town on their own, requiring them to get a taxi back to my place. She explains that I took her words incorrectly & I try to apologise as much as possible. Next few days are bad & I decide that this isn't working, that we are barely in a relationship & that won't change for the indefinite future. That I'm at a point in my life where I need to focus on myself & that this isn't fair on either of us. I once again try to get some kind of certainty of when I'll see her again and she can't give me one, saying she now wants to live in as many countries as she can before 30 & that she can't promise she'll be in the country at the end of the year. I tell her I can't do this anymore. We end amicably, have a reasonably nice last few days & she provides hope for the future.
We continue to text as regularly as the 3 weeks apart & I have a bad day a week and a half in. I make a Reddit post listing all of the bad things I did in the relationship, saying how I regret breaking up & then I beg her to take me back over text. She has none of it, reminding me that I've broken us up so many times before & that I can't act like this. I'm still acting clingy to this day, I just can't find a way to deal with this. A lot of my childhood stuff has come back during this time & it's tough.
I just don't know how to deal with this. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any opinions of how I handled it?

A week ago I adopted a second cat. Took in a little Maine coon whose original owners lost their home. He is a lovely cat and gets along with our first cat really good, but the food is problem.
He doesn't eat, he swallows everything that is on plate. My guess is that he had to fight for food before, since he wasn't the only cat in previous home as well. I have bought a bowl with grooves to make eating harder for him, so he slows down, but he still tries to eat all the food. If the other cat eats - he definetely now wants to eat again even though he stoped a minute ago.
I could portion his food more strictly and feed on certain times, but I feel that it would do bad for the other cat who right now has a beautiful relationship with food. She eats just enough. And will come to her bowl multiple times to snack a little and then go on her merry way. I am afraid that the little gluton will traumatize her and will make her feel like there is not enough food...
I could leave out enough food that he can't eat it all, but I am afraid that it will result in overfeeding the boy

Hello! I'm looking for a new phone, and since I don't have any one to ask personally about these things, I'll just trust the people here:) Anyways, as the title suggests, could you tell me which android within Php 8000-Php 9500 ($145-$180) is the best and if its better than iPhone SE 2020?
You see, my friend is offering to sell their pre-loved iPhone SE 2020 (bought late 2020) to me for around Php 8000 ($142) since they're getting an upgrade. Unfortunately, I don't have as much money as my friend and considering that my current phone is a samsung a10s (bought early 2020), that seems like a big upgrade. If I get it, I plan to keep it for as my main phone for the next 3-4 years at least.
Despite that, I am still open to android since it's what I've been using the past 8 years (my past phones were also budget samsungs) since I'm wary if I'll be able to adapt to apple's ecosystem and software. It would also be nice to get a new quality phone as a reward to myself despite it being on a budget.
Here's some things that's important to me in a phone to narrow down suggestions.

Another note that might be useful is that I'm a uni student so the phone will most likely be primarily used for my studies and classes (hence the Zoom and Google requirement) and as well as to document my uni days.
Another thing to help the suggestions is that my ideal phone/s if I had a bit more money would be google pixel 6/6a.

Hey, I'm zag :). I'm 22 working a salaried job in management. I've been playing Destiny for going on 9 years, been in just about every corner of the game, got deep into PvP sweats for a bit (Can't stand D2 PvP these days though lol) but the far endgame PvE players are where I stay. I've been in a couple clans ever since swapping to PC in 2020 but have never had a consistent team, always due to the clans having pre-established teams. I've kinda been more of a sub/add-on.
I lost interest in the game and played off and on throughout the past couple DLC's, taking a 9-month break at one point. I'm back with it being my full-time game, putting typically 50-60 hours a week into it again.
I'm working a night shift job (but I work from home often) for another few months, so I need a group that plays around Midnight-5am CST - prefferably PC exclusively. I mainly raid but I enjoy most PvE activities when running with a team optimally.

- 1300+ Full raid clears with extensive knowledge of every one.
- Day 1 raiding for the past 3 years.
- Every raid flawless minus KF, not sure why I never got around to doing it lol.
