2021.10.22 04:38 Aa_Gamingx Does galacticraft require other mods?

I was looking and on wiki only 3 mods are mentioned which are galacticraft core, galacticraft planets and mcdoodle core. Do I req any other mods than JEI.
I was planning to adding this mod to rl craft.

2021.06.27 23:05 Or0b0ur0s Advanced Rocketry enraging buggy BS!

The mod just up and ate my rocket. Devoured it whole. It was a very nice rocket, intended to be a planetary lander for interstellar exploration on even heavy-gravity worlds. It had all sorts of emergency equipment aboard, too.
I finally got to the section of my WIP starship that would contain landing bays. I needed to test everything so I plunked down a Landing Pad, teleported back down via RFTools (the first compartment I built on board), and launched with the station ID chip inside.
First time, it didn't work. I landed atop the first compartment I'd built because I hadn't known to name the Landing Pad.
And, worse, upon returning home to try again... it dropped me randomly in the ocean, miles from where I launched. I had plenty of fuel, so I tried again.
IDK what I did, launch back to orbit with the Planet ID chip still installed or what, but it left me in orbit with no model (no visible character, no visible rocket, no visible anything), completely stuck. It said I could launch, so I assumed I was aboard the station but nothing was rendering. So I used the Charged Porter to get home, but now the rocket is completely gone. It's not at home, it's not aboard the ship, and it's not in the ocean where it dropped me the first time. It just gobbled up all that work & materials for no good reason. FUN!
So what I want to know is, how the HELL is this supposed to actually work? I admit I made mistakes. Those mistakes were not commensurate with losing the entire rocket (and presumably my life and inventory if I hadn't had a Charged Porter handy), but whatever. Water under the bridge.
I can figure out how to land on the station, now, I guess. But how do I stop landing randomly back on Earth instead of where I launched from? I didn't have this problem going to the Moon. Just switch chips, and bam, back where you belong. Is it just randomly going to do this despite having the chips programmed properly? Should I give up on this mod as buggy, unfinished, and infuriating? You tell me.
EDIT: So much work & searching later, and there STILL isn't a clear answer on how Docking Pads are supposed to work, ANYWHERE, including the mod's apparently-official wiki. Now when I try to fly to a named Landing Pad, it appears in the Select DST screen... but is not selectable. For no apparent reason. This is all completely inexcusable. I really wish streamers wouldn't edit out all the bugs they run into, because trying to have fun like they apparently do just always ends in hair-pulling frustration when NOTHING works like they show it does. Can't even fly a rocket to my station, at all, unless I want to lose it on the way back. I'm beyond apoplectic at this point. So disappointing. IDK why I thought a non-Galacticraft space mod would be fun or actually work.

2021.02.26 23:22 pacguy64 making new spawning rules for mod dimensions

I'm building a 1.12 mod pack that includes this mod, galacticraft and an expansion for galacticraft that adds more planets, and I'd like to make it so that monsters spawn in the new dimensions added by the other mods. I'm just trying to get the clefairy family to spawn on the moon to start out, but I haven't had any success.
After searching a lot, I was only able to get a limited picture of how custom spawning is supposed to work based on answers to questions and some limited documentation on the wiki. I'm trying to add new spawn rules for the new dimensions, rather then modify the existing ones, and I'm not sure how to do that.
I have the settings to use external json files and the better spawner config on, and the files generated just fine. I tried copying "Clefairy Line Caverock.set.json" into new folder under "spawning/default" named "moon". Then I modified it like so: https://pastebin.com/cfCJrPZs (I previously had a "dimensions" condition limiting it to the moons dimension ID as well, but I removed it in the hopes it'd try to spawn in all dimensions without the tag, just to make testing easier...)
I also adjusted BetterSpawnerConfig to match, adding this line below the "land" blockCategory:
 "galacticraftcore:basic_block_moon",
And adding this "space" category to the biome categories:
 "space": [ "galacticraftcore:outer space", "galacticraftplanets:outer space 1", "galacticraftplanets:outer space 2", "extraplanets:outer space 3", "extraplanets:outer space 4", "extraplanets:outer space 5", "extraplanets:outer space 6", "extraplanets:outer space 7", "extraplanets:outer space 8", "extraplanets:outer space 9", "extraplanets:outer space 10", "extraplanets:outer space 11", "extraplanets:outer space 12" ],
Galacticraft has spaces in the biome names, and uses metadata variants of "basic_block_moon" to create all the dirt, stone, ores, etc. in the moon dimension. I hope that doesn't complicate things here, I honestly have no idea how these impact anything, if at all.
I can't even tell if the game is reading the the new json file! the log doesn't give any errors related to it (and it prints errors for all the battle tier json files it generated, so it seems to be able to print errors for bad json files). All I can really say atm is that the game is either not reading the file, (probably because I don't understand how the file structure works), or the file is being read by the game and has no errors, but doesn't actually do anything...
Feel free to point me to any resources that explain how to edit and troubleshoot this stuff more clearly. Google has been very stingy on this, and I haven't really messed with this mod in a while...

I landed on the moon recently but forgot to make some machines like pulverizer, furnaces ect. and now I need iron, desperately. I haven't found any so far however and I'm not sure if it even spawns on the moon, since there's no specific moon iron ore, while there's copper and tin.

2020.05.25 01:17 Aquiles413 Question about tech mods

Hey guys, I'm sorry if questions shouldn't be posted here or if I don't explain myself correctly, first time posting here.

A friend and I just got into modded minecraft and we created a server to play together in 1.12.2, right now we have the aether, twilight forest, buildcraft and galacticraft. I started with buildcraft and I've been loving it, but checking info on the wiki or on this subreddit I've seen that there are other tech mods that allow you to do way more things, so I came here for recommendations.
Tinkers construct and thermal expansion have catched my eye, but I have a doubt, if I add these mods what will happen with the ores that I need? Will I have to explore new chunks to have them generated or is there any other way to get these ores?

Any help would be appreciated.

2020.05.01 17:42 Noblechris What makes a good Dimension mod?

I have always wanted to make a potential series of threads analyzing the design of certain mods what makes them well designed and what can be improved(especially thanks to quarantine). I'm hoping the avoid redundancies or things go without saying in this discussion as well as articulate what works and what doesn't so maybe developers can't fall into the same traps many others have fallen into.

Introduction

Ever since the addition of the Nether in Minecraft alpha, It introduced the idea of a world that was completely alien to the player. Minecraft laid down that concept and other people went wild with it. This is incredibly common. Most older Minecraft mods were born of the idea of how something could be done better. This sugar cane is a pain to process why not machines that do it for me? There is a lack of interesting generated structures in the overworld lets fix that. Dimension mods are different from every other mod in modded Minecraft they are basically creating a DLC expansion to the game. They also incorporate most of the modded Minecraft baseline gameplay with an added challenge or new and unique situation. The problem occurs when there are redundancies within that gameplay that players don't necessarily see the justification in replaying.

Its not enough to go to the dimension

Dimension mods can fall into the trap of being a reskinned vanilla Minecraft and there are many that do this. Landcraft is a prime example. A lot of the mobs are reskins of vanilla mobs. The player does the same exact thing in vanilla Minecraft that they do in this new dimension get the ores and go. New dimensions should offer new and unique challenges to conquer or there is no point. This is a concept that even reigns true with even the nether. Traversal, unless you have flight, is much more difficult than in vanilla and it adds a new and unique situation that justifies the existence of the dimension and its design. Now I know what people are thinking.
What about the aether mod? In 1.7.3 the aether mod undeniably shook up the Minecraft mod scene and put it on the map. When you look at the aether now a lot of it may seem primitive compared to something as in-depth and expansive as the Betweenlands or the current twilight forest but it laid down a lot of concepts that they would follow up on. For instance, using their items and actually building a base in that location. You could build a base in the nether but there was no benefit to living there just take what you can and put it in your base. In the Aether mod, the benefits of constructing a base in that location can be seen immediately. Considering how much loot you're going to pick up and that the design of the dimension itself doesn't compromise your build potential.
Second, the challenges that the aether mod offers have unique solutions other than brute-forcing the challenge. In the nether when you wanted to get to higher ground you had to make a nerd pole and just build to location or make a stairway. In the aether, it offers mounts that make map traversal easier and more appealing. How boring would the aether be if nerd poling was your only option?
Especially when there are mobs like the sky whale that send you to the overworld off of one mistake. Another unique challenge are the bosses but that goes without saying they're bosses. This is the current most common way dimension mods justify the existence of the location. However, a problem is when they aren't too different from vanilla mobs. The thing is Minecraft combat isn't bad it's just very simplistic(Bad more or less implies the combat ruins the game or it straight up doesn't work). You don't have many evasive options other than sprint which was added in 1.8. Previous Minecraft combat rewarded the player for dishing out as much damage as they possibly could in a short amount of time, Creativity utilizing blocks or pure unadulterated cheese.
Let's take the Slider for instance. It moves in a predictable pattern it uses pickaxe/shovel tiers instead of sword tiers and fights differently to every mob you have fought up to that point. It rewards pattern analysis and a decent understanding of the mechanics of the boss. The gold tier dungeon boss is no different as you can't damage him directly. That's what makes it worth it to explore these dimensions. When you get hit it's your fault you don't feel like the boss wasn't designed with your move set.

Lore

Arguably one of the most important parts of a dimension mod are the generated structures. Whether it be dungeons or ruins. Lore is the best part about these mods. What happened here, why are these placed abandoned, what mob is that and why is it attacking me. These thoughts run through many players' subconscious. There are many ways to integrate lore into the mod and this is modded Minecraft strong suit. You have multiple ways to induce lore. For instance, the betweenlands(which excels at this with flying colors) has underground ruins, towers, bosses and knows how to play up the ambiance. The twilight forest has ruins and bosses and an enemy that drops a book from the perspective of an explorer to tell the story. Now, this is going to be my shortest section as I believe most mods understand this.

The problem

I went into this earlier but let's look at a good mod but the worst part about it is the dimension itself. Galacticraft is a large reason as to why I made this discussion thread. I feel as though modded Minecraft's quality creep has increased blisteringly fast(You, vs The guy she tells you not to worry about) . A lot of mods nowadays qualify as full games. I like the mechanics of modern space mods but the dimensions themselves leave a lot to be desired. Galaticraft's moon and mars are basically the same dimensions jut different colors. The locations on the moon don't offer much lore or artistic merit, the villagers are blue and mobs are literally the same but with spacesuits. This is actually a missed opportunity seeing as the most stereotypical enemy to put into a space mod are aliens. You could put lore in villager trades like what is this item and what does it do? Why do they have this etc. The dungeons are the biggest problem. There are not interesting to traverse. They are difficult to find on your own and they are reskinned versions of each other. There is 1 mob that's an alien on mars but they really aren't anything special or tell a story. The best dimension in Galacticraft is the asteroids dimension.
Its what should have been the standard when it came to the development of the other planets. There are secrets in certain asteroids, Maneuverability is a problem that must be overcome, and having a base that you congregate to has immediate benefits. Finally, my favorite part are the abandoned space stations. This is what tells a story as wonder who lived here prior to your exploration of the location. It actually would have been interesting to have a space station esque dungeon that the player would explore to get some new gear or blueprints(not for a space ship though that's a massive design flaw when you include rng into the mix making it so that a really unlucky player has to grind for a really long time to get the next ship tier.). Unfortunately other than the space stations, there isn't a whole lot to do in that dimension so it wears out its welcome quickly. Another problem with GC is the boss fights. They were not designed well. The mars creeper and it children literally destroy its own arena and the player can despawn him by accident and it does a poor job explaining the mechanics, the skeleton boss will just rush you down and throw you at lava and there is little counterplay other than to brute force it and just guns you down with arrows wearing down the player's suit. The changes made make Galacticraft less fun because they limit your options. The spider queen is the only boss that's decent to fight but I think you get the crux of the problem here.

Conclusion and solution

Now pointing out the problem is useless without proposing a solution. What is needed is to flesh out these mods is more generated structures. Maybe there is a castle on the moon? Take a page from Ray Bradbury's long years and put an abandoned city on Mars. Fix up the progression by adding blueprints or different biomes on these planets. Maybe take a page from rats and just make it silly(like the moon being made out of cheese). The reason why I propose this is because space is basically the perfect time to include both dimensional exploration and tech into a mod and balance around it. Every mistake can mean death and the challenge could be fun to work with. I'm just disappointed that after all this time the Galacticraft planets haven't really changed that much.
If you made it this far thanks for listening to this commenters ramblings.

2020.04.13 09:37 centauri_system Problem with Space Station in Lapito's Galacticraft

Hi, I am playing Lapito's Galacticraft (Twitch Launcher) and I have launched a rocket into orbit with what I believe are the correct materials to make a space station but no button to create it is showing up when I select the Overworld.
Just for redundancy, I brought all the materials from this page: https://wiki.micdoodle8.com/wiki/Overworld_Space_Station

2020.04.06 22:18 Tucliffid Need some help with a redstone program

First: I am very new to coding, anything I say below should be read with this in mind.
I have been attempting to create two programs that will open or close an airlock door in Galacticraft either by emitting a redstone signal or not doing so. After finding the basic redstone command through some searching, I tried to create a program with it. I named it "Open" and wrote the following line of code:
Input-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
rs left 1

https://preview.redd.it/xeysgtmus9r41.png?width=1065&format=png&auto=webp&s=b10519d4fc4ce000374bb84a169f6ea6b81190fa
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Saved it and tried it out, got this result:
Output-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
/lib/process.lua:52: /home/Open2:1: syntax error near 'left':

/lib/process.lua:52: in function
(...tail calls...)
[C]: in function 'xpcall'
machine:798: in function 'xpcall'
/lib/process.lua:63: in function
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I do not know what this means. The command works fine when imputed directly to the command line, but otherwise it gives me this result. I looked over the wiki for info and found the setOutput command, but this did not work either:
Input----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
redstone.setOutput ("right", 1)

machine:798: in function 'xpcall'
/lib/process.lua:63: in function

I'm pretty sure these errors are rooted in my lack of understanding of how all this works, so I would not mind someone shedding some light on this for me.

2020.02.17 16:47 Khris777 What is the best space travel mod?

I want to include a space travel mod into a modpack I'm making, but I have only ever played one of the three I'm aware of, so I'd like to hear your opinions. I'm looking for something that's not grindy, immersive, with interesting varied worlds. I rather have 3 well crafted planets than 10 empty and boring ones.
Are there any other space travel mods?

The official Galacticraft wiki says you can use hoppers to input and output from Magnetic Crafting Tables, but I can't seem to get them working. Is there a 'trick' to getting these tables to accept ingredient items from chests and output crafted items to other chests?
Alternatively, is there an early/mid game solution for auto-crafting simple items, e.g. Tiny Charcoal?

2019.07.25 09:59 That_one_guy793 A Terrible Minecraft Experience

I have spent about a week, almost nonstop working on this pvp galacticraft server. I have stuff that would take about a month or so to work up to, just from sheer luck, and the use of wikis. Some guys, we will call him CD (Cool Dude) and CD2 are looking for a group. And I, being very generous, invite them into my base, and we start planning on moving their stuff to my base. I then go to CD's base, and we look at all his stuff he set up. During all of this DB (Douche Bag) gets into CD's base, and kills me, steals my stuff, CD' stuff, as well as what little CD2 had (he had just started) and planted a nuke, blowing up the entire base. Then DB teleports to my base, and nukes it as well. I have no idea how long DB had been playing, but he was probably sucking off the owner of the server, and most likely got special privileges, to teleport to people whenever he wants. I have now resisted the urge to punch a hole in my moniter, and my door. Thank this sub.

2019.06.26 17:55 MuteTiefling [Astroblock] Praise for an excellent pack that deserves more attention.

Praise for Astroblock

Ever since this was released, it's been on my list to play. I was deep in a SevTech world at the time, however, and then Stoneblock and Enigmatica 2 caught my attention for a while as they had some key mods I had been wanting to play with again.
These are all excellent packs, but I was really itching to get back into space in a meaningful way. Returning to Sevtech was an option but getting to space from a fresh start would've been a very long task and my existing world is more like playing in creative mode at this point. And while Enigmatica 2 has Advanced Rocketry, I never felt compelled to use the mod in the normal version. There was just no need to go to space.
Enter Astroblock. My first reaction was pleasant surprise. I hadn't looked at the mod list at all so I only knew two things about it: You start in the Galacticraft Asteroid belt and you're dying.
Of course, saving your sorry self for the short term is fairly simple. Grab some O2, get power back online, and try not to die from radiation before you figure out how to make anti-rad potions.
What I did not expect was to enter into a very different kind of sky-block experience. Sifting for certain resources is still vital but it's not nearly to the extent one might expect. Namely, you'll be doing it for things like blaze powder, redstone, glowstone, diamonds, and silicon. You won't be getting any ores from this directly. No, instead the pack works with a series of custom compressor recipes to get you the basics. Need some gold? Compress iron and glowstone. Copper? Iron and redstone. Tin? Iron and Aluminum.
The list goes on and through careful manipulation you'll get most everything you need early on from your compressors, barring two vital resources: Iron and Aluminum. These have to be mined from the rich cores of the asteroids surrounding your tiny base. That's right, this is a skyblock style map where exploration is actually vital. You'll spend a fair amount of time taking short exploration missions in search of resources. And the asteroid belt has a lot to offer you beyond simple ore. Abandoned bases can be found all over that will provide you with very useful loot.
But space is deadly. Radiation will slowly kill you. Evolved mobs are stronger than their normal overworld counterparts and will quickly wreck you. Oxygen tanks need constant monitoring and refilling. In short, there are a lot of ways to die. And die you likely will. The bright side to this is that the Keep Inventory gamerule is on by default, so your items won't be lost to the void with every death. You also don't need to fear the void as the pack includes Forgiving Void. You just get teleported back up to build limit.
To help navigate, you're given a grappling hook at the start. This is a fun little way to get around the asteroid belt. You'll soon get a simple jetpack and inventory furnace from quests to further simplify your life, making movement a breeze in low gravity.
When it comes to quests, you're absolutely going to want to follow them. They'll provide a fun bit of lore as well as key quest rewards along the way to really help you survive this rough environment.
And if it weren't bad enough that space really really wants you dead, the overworld is no walk in the park either being inhabited by fierce androids, rocket launching robot-creepers, laser toting dinosaurs, and giant mutants with 2-300 health.
Progression is largely gated by travel to planets. Mekanism, for instance is effectively locked out until you've gotten to earth to begin mining there. And you won't simply be making mining expeditions there, no. You'll need to explore the dense Lost Cities structures that populate the overworld in search of key resources needed for progression.
This isn't your typical skyblock and if you're looking for a change of pace, love exploring, and enjoy the challenge of suriviving tough environments and unforgiving mobs, then perhaps give this pack a try. I'm definitely having a great time.

Tips and Tricks:

  1. Build an Ambient Thermal Controller as quickly as you can to put in your Oxygen Sealer. This fully protects you from radiation as long as you're in the sealed environment. This is the final key step to making your base fully livable.
  2. Hopping Bonsai are your friend and will open the way to a great fully automated early power system based on charcoal and Galacticraft Coal Generators. You'll get no apples though, so find another food source. Chicken would be a great idea (you can craft bait to attract them to begin breeding) not just for the meat.
  3. Cooked chicken can be canned as well to restore double the haunches of eating chicken by itself. You're still eating two chickens per can but it means filling your hunger bar that much faster.
  4. Make a bow! Chickens will provide you with the feathers for arrows as well as food. Melee combat is difficult in low gravity and getting swarmed will lead to your quick death. Keep ranged!
  5. Redstone Arsenal is in the pack as well as other Thermal Series mods. Furthermore, you'll be able to craft these things before you ever leave the asteroid belt if you work at it. There've been several posts lately about just how good the flux-infused bow is when empowered paired with the flux-infused quiver and multishot. Food for thought. ;-)
  6. Follow the quests. I can't stress this enough. Many of the rewards are random but some are very targeted and very useful. I don't recall if this was a random reward but I got an Ocelot Inventory pet early on that scares creepers away and gives me nightvision for the cost of a bit of fish. It's been a huge boon for working in the dark asteroid belt.
  7. Rush the Galacticraft Electric Arc Furnace. This doubles your ores when you smelt them. It also runs very fast once you've upgraded your power to "Tier 2". For a Tier 2 power network in Galacticraft you need all of the wires in the network to be Heavy Aluminum Wires (which also have an infinite through-rate). You also need to have at least one Energy Storage Cluster or Advanced Solar Panel providing some (not necessarily all) power to the network. Details here: https://wiki.micdoodle8.com/wiki/Energy
  8. Getting your rocket built to go to the Overworld is a pretty simple task. Surviving on the Overworld is not. Take your time and prepare yourself. Industrial Foregoing and Thermal Series can help you get some very good enchanted armotools/weapons that you'll want before you go.
  9. The Industrial Foregoing Resource Fisher is a great way to get enchanted books/bows. Set one up early for very cheap access to enchants.
  10. Whoosh is also in the pack and you shouldn't have any issue crafting the Reinforced version before setting out for the overworld. It allows inter-dimensional transport at the cost of liquid ender pearls. So it's a nice little gadget for fast travel back and forth.

Minor Gripes:

  1. The Galacticraft configs were not updated to include glass from other mods as sealable. If you want to be able to build a little more creatively, I'd highly recommend that you add them.
  2. It has an old version of Direwolf's Building Gadgets that doesn't have the nice circular GUI for working with the tools. I'd recommend updating that. So far it doesn't seem to have caused any issues with my game and makes the gadgets much more useable.

2019.05.01 17:20 TheHunterManX Question: How do I defeat a god? Full question in post. -MODS- -1.7.10-

So, I've been playing 1.7.10 modded for quite some time, mostly with friends of mine. We always play with the Dragon Block C mod included due to one of said friend's (lets call him Steve) inability to have fun without constantly training to get stronger.
I've played the mod myself and I find it alright, but I'd much rather be making technology or using magic to get stronger due to the higher versatility, such as from Academycraft or Witchery.
Steve constantly wants to PVP when he plays, and although voodoo dolls and infusions are useful, the best I've achieved is a stalemate (through 100+ vamp. voodoo dolls attached to Master Goku, placed on the poppet shelf).
Here's the question I pose to all who view this post: Is there a way to defeat (Kill/Imprison) someone who uses Dragon Block C?

Before you post suggestions though, please do not post:
Mods that are riddled with majogame breaking bugs.
Mods that do not have a proportional work (such as building a machine, punching something enough times, figuring out the mechanics) to strength (how strong the effect is, such as hitting something harder with a punch, being able to perform more useful feats). Example: here
Other things slightly less disliked to post:
W.I.P mods.
Very simple mods (adds one/two new ores, an armor set, and a set of tools/weapons). Example: here
Mods that are not fun to use (who wants to use mods if they aren't fun?).

Thank you for taking time out of your day to hear out my request.

UPDATE 1: The Draconic Staff of Power does make for a great melee weapon, as I was able to defeat Vegeta (400HP) in 1-3 hits and BuuFat (30000HP) in 5-10 hits. Creation isn't overly complex, but hard enough that you have to want it to get it. Perfect weapon to me. Still open to suggestions though. I'd rate this weapon a 7/10 to get in the world.

UPDATE 2: A spell from Ars Magica 2 which contains the wave and beam shape, along with components (blizzard), lunar, lunar, lunar) does 1000+ damage per second at night, which kills most dragon block enemies, although I have my doubts that it will kill Steve in a direct fight. Probably can use witchery to summon him, block him in, then use the spell to kill him. Requires 18000 Mana though, so I'll have to find out if that's accessible in the survival world. There's also having to get to the near-end of the offense skill tree, and having to build the alter, as well as getting the materials, so this option is undesirable to obtain in the world. Rating it a 4/10, due to the ludicrous amounts of work needed for the desired effect.

UPDATE 3: Using the RFTools builder) to transport someone through the space chamber is not only easy enough to do (with a tutorial), but it's cost-effective, with 40000RF per entity, but combining it with Galacticraft's Asteroid dimension seems to not allow the player to use /kill. Combine that with witchery's rite of protection (double layered, one to keep the player in, one to protect the seal from being destroyed) and you've got a prison that's highly improbable to escape (as long as you don't have commands that travel dimensions). I'm rating the builder 8/10 for versatility and the strategy using this builder as the core a 9/10. For those of you who want to also use this method, I left some screenshots of the setup I used.

2019.04.13 03:04 Jus2590 Weird FPS issue.

I am running a custom modpack with 64 mods in it with a good computer (AMD FX 6300 Processor, 16 GB ram, Raedon RX 560 Graphics card.) But for some reason I cannot go over five to ten fps. It's not the obvious problems like not allocating enough ram or accidentally turning the render distance up to 60, so I'm stumpt. Here is the mod list, the minecraft version is 1.12.2 and the forge version is 14.23.5.2835.
