The extra bit is often used as a parity bit. What is the purpose of a “parity bit,” and how is it used? Answer “Parity bits” are used as a primitive form of error detection. Communications equipment making use of parity for error detection may either be configured for “even parity” or for “odd parity”. I’ll let you research and explain how parity bits are used in the transmission of ASCII data.
Question 10 An important parameter of logic gate circuitry is noise margin. What exactly is “noise margin,” and how is it defined for logic gates? Specifically, how much noise margin do digital circuits exclusively composed of CMOS gates have? How does this compare with the noise margin of all-TTL circuitry? Answer: Noise margin is the difference between the acceptable voltage limits for corresponding input and output logic states. Notes: This question, to be answered properly, involves more than just a definition of “noise margin.” Students must first discover that there is a difference between voltage compliance levels for gate inputs versus outputs, then recognize that the difference constitutes a “margin” that imposed AC voltage (“noise”) must not exceed. They must then present their answer in terms of manufacturer specifications, obtained in datasheets. In summary, there is a lot of research that must occur to answer this question, but the results will be worth it! Question 11 In Claude Shannon’s famous 1948 paper entitled A Mathematical Theory of Communication, he opens with the following statement: “The recent development of various methods of modulation such as PCM and PPM which exchange bandwidth for signal-to-noise ratio has intensified the interest in a general theory of communication.”
Explain what Shannon was referring to when he said, “exchange bandwidth for signal-to-noise ratio”. In many cases, the superior signal-to-noise ratio of digital communication over analog communication is the primary reason justifying the much greater complexity of digital communications equipment. Also, elaborate on how bandwidth becomes sacrificed in order to achieve relatively noiseless signal transmission. Answer: Digital signals are highly resistant to corruption from noise, because they are composed of discrete (“high” and “low”) states rather than continuously-variable quantities as analog signals are. However, in order to communicate any significant measure of digital information in serial form, many pulses are needed. This requires a high-bandwidth data path to be comparable in speed to analog. Notes: Shannon’s language is perhaps a bit above the norm for technician-level education, but it nevertheless captures an important quality of digital communication: that the noise immunity enjoyed by digital communication comes at a price: high bandwidth. Without a high-bandwidth medium in which to exchange digital information, communication is either slow or completely impractical Question 12 Suppose an analog-digital converter IC (“chip”) inputs a voltage ranging from 0 to 5 volts DC and converts the magnitude of that voltage into an 8-bit binary number. How many discrete “steps” are there in the output as the converter circuit resolves the input voltage from one end of its range (0 volts) to the other (5 volts)? How much voltage does each of these steps represent? Answer This ADC (Analog-to-Digital Converter) circuit has 256 steps in its output range, each step representing 19.61 mV. Question 13 What is meant by the word resolution in reference to an ADC or a DAC? Why is resolution important to us, and how may it be calculated for any particular circuit knowing the number of binary bits? Answer: The resolution of either a digital-to-analog converter (DAC) or an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is the measure of how finely its output may change between discrete, binary steps. For instance, an 8- bit DAC with an output voltage range of 0 to 10 volts will have a resolution of 39.22 mV. Notes: Note that I did not hint how to calculate the resolution of a DAC or an ADC, I just gave the answer for a particular example. The goal here is for students to inductively “work backwards” from my example to a general mathematical statement about resolution.
There are actually two different ways to calculate the resolution, depending on the actual range of the converter circuit. For the answer given, I assumed that a digital value of 0x00 = 0.00 volts DC and that a digital value of 0xFF = 10.00 volts DC. If a student were to calculate the resolution for a circuit where 0xFF generated an output voltage just shy of 10.00 volts DC (e.g. an R-2R ladder network where Vref = 10 volts DC, and a full-scale binary input generates an output voltage just one step less than Vref), the correct answer for resolution would be 39.06 mV. You may want to bring up such practical examples of resolution as the difference between a handheld digital multimeter and a lab-bench digital multimeter. The number of digits on the display is a sure clue to a substantial difference in ADC resolution. Question 14 Answer: An important feature of microprocessors is the use of flag registers. What, exactly, is a “flag”, and what are they used for in microprocessor programming? Identify some common machine- language commands that set flags, and some common commands that read flags. Flags are single-bit registers in a microprocessor set according to the results of an operation. Arithmetic and logical operations are common examples of commands that set flags. Conditional operations such as “Jump if Zero” are based on flag status: that is, the status of certain flags dictate what a conditional operation will do.
Question 16 What does the normal status of an electrical switch refer to? Specifically, what is the difference between a normally-open switch and a normally-closed switch? Answer The “normal” status of a switch refers to the open or closed status of the contacts when there is no actuating force applied to the switch. Notes: An important qualification for an electrical switch to be either “normally-open” or “normally-closed” is that it have a spring to return it to its “normal” state in the absence of an actuating force. Latching switches such as most toggle switches really cannot be defined in terms of “normally-” anything. Discuss this with your students, possibly showing them some examples of momentary contact switches that are either N.O. or N.C. Question 17 A special class of electromechanical relays called time-delay relays provide delayed action, either upon power-up or power-down, and are commonly denoted in ladder logic diagrams by “TD” or “TR” designations near the coil symbols and arrows on the contact symbols. Here is an example of a time- delay relay contact used in a motor control circuit: In this circuit, the motor delays start-up until three seconds after the switch is thrown to the “Run” position, but will stop immediately when the switch is returned to the “Stop” position. The relay contact is referred to as normally-open, timed-closed, or NOTC. It is alternatively referred to as a normally-open, on-delay contact. Explain how the arrow symbol indicates the nature of this contact’s delay, that delay occurs during closure but not during opening. Answer Note that the “Arrow” is pointing in the up direction, toward the direction of contact closure. Notes:
The arrow symbol is not difficult to figure out, but it is essential to know when working with time- delay relay circuits.
Question 21 Suppose an automobile manufacturer was designing a new car engine design, and they needed a memory chip to store look-up tables for the engine’s control computer, holding data such as optimum fuel/air ratios for different engine loads which the computer would then consult to maintain best performance, or economy, or emissions. What type of memory chip would you recommend for the task, and why? Choose from the following list: Static RAM (SRAM) Mask ROM PROM Dynamic RAM (DRAM) EPROM Magnetic core Answer: EPROM would probably be the best choice. I’ll let you discuss this with your classmates and with your instructor, though! Notes: This question is multi-faceted. Students must consider volatility and ease of updating (the data), as well as simply applying the concept of a look-up table to a car’s engine control computer, in order to intelligently answer this question. Question 22 Explain the difference between static RAM (“SRAM”) and dynamic RAM (“DRAM”) memory technologies. Which type of memory technology provides faster access of data, and why? Which type of memory technology provides the greatest storage density, and why?
Answer: Static RAM provides the fastest access, while dynamic RAM provides the greatest amount of memory per physical volume (storage density). Follow-up question: how is refreshing provided for dynamic RAM chips? Is this something taken care of internal to the chip, or must the circuit designer provide external circuitry to refresh the dynamic RAM chip’s memory cells? Question 23 Two very important concepts to understand when working with digital memory devices are address and data. Define each of these terms in your own words. Define the following acronyms: ROM: PROM: EPROM: EEPROM: UVEPROM: Be prepared to explain a few things about each of these memory technologies: how they work, what applications they might be found in, advantages and disadvantages of each. Answer: ROM: Read-Only Memory PROM: Programmable Read-Only Memory EPROM: Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory EEPROM: Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory UVEPROM: UltraViolet Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory Question 24 An important use for read-only semiconductor memories is as look-up tables. Describe what a “look- up table” is, and what one might be used for. Answer: A look-up table is a set of data programmed into a memory device, used to map a function of some kind: for each unique input (address), there is an output (data) that means something to the system in which it is installed. An example of a look-up table is an EBCDIC-to-ASCII code converter, where an EBCDIC code input to the address lines of a ROM chip “looks up” the equivalent ASCII character value from memory, and outputs it as the result through the ROM chip’s data lines.
Notes: The EBCDIC-to-ASCII code converter concept is not hypothetical! I actually designed and helped build such a circuit to allow standard personal computers to “talk” to an obsolete CNC machine tool control computer which didn’t understand ASCII data, only EBCDIC. A look-up table implemented in a UVEPROM served as a neat way to implement this function, without a lot of complex circuitry. Question 25 Digital computers use a numeration system with a base of two, rather than a base of ten as we are accustomed to using. It is much easier to engineer circuitry that counts in “binary” than it is to design circuits that count in any other base system. Based on what you know of numeration systems, answer the following questions: How many different symbols (ciphers) are there in the binary numeration system? What are the different place-weight values in the binary system? How would you represent the number “seventeen” in binary? In our base-ten (denary) numeration system, each character is called a “digit.” What is each character called in the binary numeration system? Answer: There are only two valid ciphers in the binary system: 0 and 1. Each successive place carries twice the “weight” of the one before it. Seventeen = 10001 (in binary). Each character in the binary system is called a “bit” rather than a “digit”. Question 26 A numeration system often used as a “shorthand” way of writing large binary numbers is the hexadecimal, or base-sixteen, system. Based on what you know of place-weighted numeration systems, describe how many valid ciphers exist in the hexadecimal system, and the respective “weights” of each place in a hexadecimal number. Also, perform the following conversions: 3516 into decimal: 3410 into hexadecimal: 111000102 into hexadecimal: 9316 into binary:

- Combinational Logic Functions 8.1. Introduction to Combinational Logic Functions The term “combinational” comes to us from mathematics. A combination is an unordered set, which means that the order of the items is not of importance. For example, we can go through a NAND gate, to see how it works, when we provide the inputs in different orders. We begin with both inputs being 0. We then set one input high.
We then set the other input high. So by the NAND gates the order of the inputs doesn’t have any importance. The other logic gates like AND, XOR, OR, NOR, XNOR, and NOT also exhibit the same behaviour. 8.2. Half-Adder A combinational logic circuit which is designed to add two binary digits is called as a half adder. The half adder provides the output along with a carry value (if any). The half adder circuit is designed by connecting an EX-OR gate and one AND gate. It has two input terminals and two output terminals for sum and carry. From the logic circuit diagram of half adder, it is clear that A and B are the two input bits, S is the output sum, and C is the output carry bit. In the case of a half adder, the output of the EX-OR gate is the sum of two bits and the output of the AND gate is the carry. Although, the carry obtained in one addition will not be forwarded in the next addition because of this it is known as half adder. Half adder adds two binary digits according to the rules of binary addition. These rules are as follows –
The following are the truth table and the K-Map of the half-adder – 8.3. Full-Adder A combinational logic circuit that can add two binary digits (bits) and a carry bit, and produces a sum bit and a carry bit as output is known as a full-adder. In other words, a combinational circuit which is designed to add three binary digits and produces two outputs (sum and carry) is known as a full adder. Thus, a full adder circuit adds three binary digits, where two are the inputs and one is the carry forwarded from the previous addition.
Full adder takes three inputs namely A, B, and Cin. Where, A and B are the two binary digits, and Cin is the carry bit from the previous stage of binary addition. The sum output of the full adder is obtained by XORing the bits A, B, and Cin. While the carry output bit (Cout) is obtained using AND and OR operations. The following is the truth table and then the K-Map of the full-adder circuit:
8.4. Decoder A decoder is a circuit that changes a code into a set of signals. A common type of decoder is the line decoder which takes an n-digit binary number and decodes it into 2n data lines. The simplest is the 1-to-2 line decoder. The truth table is: A is the address and D is the dataline. D0 is NOT A and D1 is A. The circuit looks like the Figures below. Only slightly more complex is the 2-to-4 line decoder. The truth table is: Developed into a circuit it looks like the Figures below.
8.5. Encoder An encoder is a circuit that changes a set of signals into a code. The truth table looks like this: A more useful application of combinational encoder design is a binary to 7- segment encoder. The truth table looks like this:

- Started with fresh windows 10 Pro, I didn't own the NVIDIA card at this point.
- Installed BlueIris trial and allowed it to install CodeProject.AI, everything worked great using the CPU.
- Got all my cameras setup and working, loved BlueIris, paid for it.
- Found that it took to long to recognize objects so i did some research and found lots of people use NVIDIA 1030 cards successfully so I bought one. I needed a half height card to fit in my rack mount case so it looked perfect.
- Installed graphics driver "535.98-desktop-win10-win11-64bit-international-dch-whql.exe"
- rebooted
- Installed "cuda_12.1.1_531.14_windows.exe"
- rebooted
- Installed "Install_CUDnn.zip" by running the batch file in it.
- rebooted
- Checked CodeProjectAI, everything was still using CPU. Read more forum posts on various sites and found that apparently it only works with version 11.7 of the Cuda toolkit.
- Uninstalled everything V12 (required 4-5 reboots)
- Installed "cuda_11.7.0_516.01_windows.exe"
- Rebooted
- Installed "Install_CUDnn.zip" by running the batch file in it.

- Now CodeProjectAI shows that Object Detection (YOLOv5 .NET) is using "GPU (DirectML) not cuda, everything else is using CPU. I have tried "Enable GPU" on each service but none of them will work with Cuda.
Am i missing something?
my log files show "USE_CUDA = True" and "detect_adapter.py: Inference processing will occur on device 'CPU'"
I am at a loss, been at this for far to many hours now, ideas? I should mention that i also had VNC installed which installs a virtual video card driver. I deleted that device because i felt it might be part of the problem, it didn't help.
Does anyone know of a good video or site that shows how to set this up?

I am planning to write a GUI software in python for streaming a variety of RAW video files. These are not your standard mp4, mkv, etc. files. These are generally proprietary files in binary format or multipurpose files like (.mat, .npz, or .hdf5). The pixel data in these files are generally greyscale, high bit depth, and with no compression (just straight 3D pixel array, where 3rd dimension is time). They also contain metadata about the video and its playback (e.g. framerate) or supporting data (e.g. bad pixel map).
I built a working solution for one filetype that fully reads the file into memory, then plays it back at video framerates using pyqt5. I want to rewrite the program however, to change a few things:
- Stream the file rather than loading the entire thing into memory. Because these are raw videos, the data size is large, so I can’t read all files without running out of memory. I want this part to operate in its own thread since it should not be CPU intensive. I want to be able to read several different filetypes, and it should be “easy” in the future to add a new filetype by writing a minimal amount of code (i.e. it shouldn’t generally require much change on the GUI or processing side of things). The GUI will have an option to define the number of buffered frames this thread will read ahead.
- The high bit-depth data needs to be processed before displaying on an 8-bit display. The GUI provides the interface to change those settings: e.g. setting the lower and upper threshold values, applying gamma or logarithmic mapping, applying contrast enhancement, nonuniformity correction, bad pixel substitution, etc. All of these settings reside in the GUI, but I think I want to write the processing functions (or class) separate so I can reuse them for scripting purposes when I need to do something the GUI is not equipped for. This will have to run in a separate thread, processing the read frame buffer as soon as it arrives up to its own defined buffer size.
- I want to be able to reuse the file reading and data processing functions for scripting purposes. My first GUI put most functions within the GUI Class, which made writing the code very simple, but also made the code single use rather than modular.
I am a little stuck on how to arrange this as far as classes, functions, etc. go. I know I will write the GUI as a class, but should the file reading be handled by another class or a series of functions? Should I store the video data in a custom universal class format that has metadata like: number of frames, framerate, data type, etc.? Should that same class contain the buffered frames (raw and processed data)? I think I'm partially stuck because many or all of the threads (reading, processing, GUI) need shared access to various variables.
Anyone have any advice? I’m a scientist and not a programmer, so while I’ve developed skill at writing code, I do not have intuition on what is the best way to design a good architecture. I started drawing something up, but I still don’t know what I want to make classes, functions, etc.

I created an outline of some good information that was given during the 6 June live stream in case anyone missed it. It's mostly just paraphrased.
Is the game digital only? - No, there are physical copies for consoles if you like to collect physical games. Including the collector additions.
Will the game be available on steam deck? - We are working towards steam deck compatibility, although we have not received the official evaluation currently.
What type of improvements can we expect for the launch? - The open beta already has some improvements over the closed beta that you will notice when you jump in. Even more improvements will come on launch day, although some things take time and may not be ready on day 1.
- Improvements have already been made for objects like benches and bins. AI improvements have been made from the closed beta to the open beta.
- We worked on some UI changes to improve the presentation of information; more is on the way.
- Lighting has been improved and will be even better on launch.
- The snapping feature while building is being improved and is already showing improvements since the closed beta.
- We are working hard to make as many improvements as we can for release and will continue post release.
- A lot of sound improvements. Including the annoying sound when riding a coaster in first person.
- Coaster smoothness has and is still improving.
Are there shortcuts to undo/redo? - You can undo and redo actions in the UI. Shortcuts are currently not available for this; however, it is something that is being looked at for later down the road.
Can you toggle the white overlay when hovering over objects? - No, if you did not have it then you may accidentally perform actions on unwanted objects. It also helps with visual clarity when modifying multiple objects. Will forward feedback to UI design team as there could be better solutions.
Can you disable the UI? - Yes, you can click a hotkey to hide the UI. Perfect for content creators or taking nice screenshots of your park. We could possibly look at hiding the white overlay while the UI is hidden as well.
How many missions will there be on release? - 8 missions on launch.
- 1st mission is coaster building tutorial.
- 2nd mission is park tutorial.
- Mission 3-8 will have milestones and goals. 5 milestones per mission.
- Each mission will be longer than the tutorial missions.
- Possibly extra surprise content after the 8th mission.
How many maps will there be at launch? - There are multiple biomes (4) that have maps within them.
- East Asia
- Alpine Mountains
- Desert
- Mediterranean
- The Mediterranean will have different small islands that you can build coasters between.
- 26 maps on release.
- If you count the tutorial map, Exploration Park then this would be the 27th.
- 7 maps will come from the story missions. 19 will be separate new maps.
- The 7 maps that come from the story missions can be played on without requiring you to do the story missions.
Will there be any bigger maps? - Most of the maps are the same size, just different environments.
- There is a flat one called Canvas of Creativity.
Will pathing auto create stairs when building the path up or down? - No, the path will either slope up or down. You can add railings to the path if you want.
How many rides will there be on release? - There will be 5 themes:
- Alien planet – 2 rides
- Candy Wheel – 2 rides
- Da Vinci – 2 rides
- Park Beyond – 3 rides
- Western – 2 rides
- 14 flat rides without themes. 25 rides total.
- Pac-man DLC includes 2 rides. Zombie DLC includes 1 ride.
- 28 total rides with DLC.
- 3 roller coaster types with unlimited color customizations and customizable cars.
- Standard coaster
- Wild coaster
- Wild mouse coaster
- 9 types of coaster prefabs.
- More free rides will come out throughout the year one roadmap. Also paid DLC expansions.
How many shops will there be at release? - For the base game, there are 21 different shops. They each can use 5 different themes, or 7 with the DLC. For example, there are 11 different food shops. Each can have 5 different themes to make 55 different food shop prefabs. So, there are 100 different themed prefabs total and 122 products to sell.
Are there wooden roller coasters? - Not for release. There are no plans for wooden coasters, but we often get feedback for wooden coasters. We will discuss internally.
Will the Steam workshop be available? - No, we are partnering with mod.io. Starting in August(TBD), you will be able to share your own builds with other players. This includes cross platform. So, PC players can share with consoles and vice versa. Eventually you will be able to share your entire park, but it is slightly more complicated to implement.
Can I build a park with my friend? - Not at the exact same time, but you can share back and forth on mod.io to build something together.
Will there be unlimited amazement for sandbox mode? - We hear the current feedback being given from the closed beta, including this. This is being discussed internally. However, this will not be available on launch as we require more time.
Can you assign staff to certain zones? - You can assign staff to different tasks. For example, you can assign your janitor to only focus on picking up litter and ignore puke and trash cans. However, you cannot assign them to specific zones within your park. We have seen this being requested.
Can you assign a staff member a specific task to do immediately i.e.. fix a certain ride? How many different outfits are there for the entertainers? - There is an outfit for the 5 different themes, 1 for the pac-man DLC, and 1 for the zombie DLC. Possibly more
Will there be more road textures on release? Can you change the texture on an existing road? - Not currently. You would need to delete and replace it.
Are there any other Namco properties that we could see in future expansion packs? - For pre-orders, on day 1 you can download pac-man themed scenery, rides, entertainers, and some extras.
- For future content, we will just have to wait and see what happens.
Can the guests play pac-man arcade machines? - There will be scenery pac-man arcade machines. These can be scaled, but guests will not be able to play them.
Will there be any cheat codes? Can you impossify toilets? - No, that is... impossible. I hope some game designers are taking notes on your ideas to impossify toilets.

Specifically I am referring to the motions for special moves. Say for instance if instead of using a charge input for sonic boom as Guile you could re map it to a forward quarter cirlce.
Is this breaking some kind of code for fighting games? Like, are certain special moves in fighting games meant to be slightly more complicated to input as a means of balancing, Or is it just matter of tradition?
Been working in getting better at fighting games lately and this question popped into my head, just curious what others might think.

Here’s my packing list for 18 days in May/June including 2 weddings, my own honeymoon, and a bachelorette party. I packed both a carry on backpack (REI Traverse 35L in S) and personal item backpack (North Face Borealis from 2014 which I think is 27L), both not completely full. For the variety of events I was prepared for, the fact that I almost used everything more than once, and the amount I experimented with convertible clothing, I thought it might be worth posting even though it’s 2 bags. We did laundry once ~day 9 or 10.
Events I was packing for
- 2 California weddings which each also had pre-wedding events the day before - dress codes for the 4 total events were 1) dressy casual in bright orange/yellow colors, 2) dressy casual, 3) black tie optional, 4) Indian formal.
- 12 day honeymoon in Morocco included time in the mountains, desert, cities, and beach. Everything was to be relatively modest and almost everything had to be comfortable enough for plane/train/bus/car travel throughout.
- Bachelorette weekend in Puerto Rico - casual with beach time, city time, and a day of rainforest/waterfall hiking and kayaking.

Crossbody leather purse - worn to wedding events and days out in cities.
Packable backpack - needed on more active days when I needed to carry extra clothes and a water bottle
Zip close laundry bag (came with an Away carry on rolling suitcase)
Toiletry bag with 4 compartments and a hook to hang in the bathroom - full with mini sizes of almost everything I would use at home including makeup, meds, skincare, curly hair stuff, sunscreen, bug spray, etc.
Tech pouch (came with the Samsonite Silhouette 17 tote) - held phone charging cables for USB-C and USB-A, international plug converter, external battery, headphones, and my travel mini hair straightener.
Jewelry case - with jewelry for the weddings and nice dinners. Stored my engagement & wedding rings on the ring tabs on days I didn’t want to wear them.
Travel towel
Water bottle - Wish I had an insulated water bottle instead of my plastic one for the desert heat. Will be shopping for one.
Turtl pillow - strapped in the bungee cords of the north face backpack
Sun hat - folded flat and also strapped in the bungee cords when I wasn’t wearing it
Sunglasses in a case
Tevas Hurricane XLT2 - Worn for most days in Morocco and Puerto Rico. I bought cheap water shoes from Walgreens the day of the waterfall hike because I was worried about traction for rock climbing with open toed shoes, but a couple of girls on the trip did it all in Tevas without a problem.
Croc sandals - I used these functionally as flip flops for inside the hotels/ showers, especially when the Tevas were still drying off after water activities. I wore them out in the city once but they aren’t comfortable for hours of walking on uneven ground.
Sneakers - light pink color, felt like it looked ok when a little dusty in Morocco
Convertible heels to flats - worn as heels for both weddings, worn as flat sandals for both pre-wedding events. Also converted them into flats after dancing at the weddings. Would've worn for a night out at the bachelorette but my flight there was delayed and I missed it.
Packing cubes (not pictured) with all clothes - Eagle Creek Pack-It Original sizes M x 2, S x 1, XS x 1
Lehenga choli - top & bottom that I dressed up with Indian jewelry for the Indian wedding but dressed down as separates in Morocco. Worn with a dupatta - which I also used to cover my shoulders for sleeveless outfits in Morocco.
Convertible dress - worn for one wedding event and a day in Marrakech. Also was good as a cover up when going to the pool/spa within the riads.
Convertible jumpsuit - varied the necklines for a wedding welcome dinner and a dinner while glamping in the sand dunes. Worn as high waisted pants with the bra tank for wine tasting in California and for a day in the Marrakech.
Convertible dress/scarf - worn as a shawl for the black tie optional wedding and dressy casual prewedding event, worn as a scarf for a cold night out in chefchaouen, worn as a dress at the beach in Essaouira and for a day out in Marrakech.
Washable silk slip dress - for the black tie optional wedding. Required steaming so didn’t bother to wear again, but packs tiny.
White midi dress - worn once for pictures in the blue city Chefchaouen, thought I would wear again for clubbing in Morocco but didn’t end up getting to go
Plisse pants - worn for airplane, train and bus days because they’re comfy enough to curl up and sleep in
Linen pants - were great for hot and dusty desert days
Sleep shorts
Spanx for under silk and white dresses
Spanx athletic leggings - necessary for cold weather in chefchaouen and hiking in dades
Patagonia R1 - needed for plane, nights in California, chefchaouen, and Atlas mountains
White linen button down - worn many many times over other clothes
Button down short sleeve shirt - just wore once in the desert
Crochet swim cover up
Bra tank from aerie
Workout top from Target - can pass as a tshirt with pants
Modal black tshirt - comfy enough to sleep in
Cotton T-shirt - instantly got sweaty, will replace with something breezier or sweat wicking next time.
White tank
Convertible strapless bra - for the formal outfits
Merino wool bralette - was skeptical on the price but was super comfy and never felt like it got sweaty
Mesh bralette
1 bikini
1 other light bralette, 8 pairs of underwear and 4 pairs of socks not pictured (including 1 lightweight darn tough wool socks)
My backpacks felt overall light and I was fine on uneven ground and stairs wearing both of them. Someone more minimalist than me could easily get this down to 1 bag by traveling with a smaller toiletry bag and cutting 1-2 sandals, 1-3 shirts, and multiple dresses. I don’t regret bringing anything since I take a lot of pictures, so the variety was nice. I had room for food during travel and small souvenirs, so it was overall a success.
My only regret - I forgot my Columbia rain shell which which would’ve easily fit. It was super windy in California and it rained a ton in parts of Morocco. My R1 had to suffice, which is ok in a drizzle but not a downpour.

I'm having a hard time with food. I don't get enough foodstamps and I've recently moved into supportive housing but they don't offer food and the salvation army says I'm out of their zip code and they can't help me with a pantry.
I was homeless for four years so I'm so happy to have my own place and while I was told councelors would help me find food and a job, they've done neither.
So I was hoping I could get some help? Also need stuff like disposable razors, shampoo, socks, contact lens solution and toilet paper. I really lost everything HRA gave up my storage.
My whole life all my artwork on my books my journals 14 guitars all of my clothing I had washed and tied up in plastic so they would be able to stay in storage a long time I didn't do anything wrong they just made a mistake and got rid of my storage and they said they were supposed to be paying it and I was bringing them the invoices and I did everything right my whole life I had just bought a new king size bed before I lost my job... Before I got evicted.
I've never seen or heard of this but someone suggested I post in here... So what the heck?
If I did something wrong let me know and I'll revise. Thanks for listening I guess. I'm very optimistic. I'm just, temporarily set back here.
