It also won't allow me to search for songs on the playlist anymore. All of these features were originally working before. I moved into a new house in a new town in a new state, I'm a recently divorced woman and not used to being on my own after 7 years of marriage. Me and my ex never had kids so it made the process a little easier. I did my best to make sure I put as many miles between us as I could afford. I don't know anyone in town and my neighbors are pretty quiet, nobody even welcomed me to the neighborhood, but maybe I'm expecting too much from strangers.
The house next door to me looks vacant on the exterior but I notice lights on through my kitchen window at night that faces the house. I thought nothing of it until my 2nd day there at dusk I got a knock on my front door. I didn't know who to expect seeing as how nobody is knows I'm here. I opened the door and it was an old man, maybe late 70s or early 80s greeting me with a friendly smile.
"uhh yes, how may I help you" I said in a friendly but confused manner "I'm sorry to bother you" he said... "but I was wondering if you had any sugar I can borrow, I wanted a hot cup of tea before bed but I neglected to go to the grocery store" I smiled out of the sheer cuteness of a nice old man borrowing sugar from a neighbor. "no bother at all sir, if you wait right here Ill go get you a few cups so you won't have to go to the store so soon" he smiled a little wider and said "thank you, It really means alot to me".
I left the door open as he waited for me on the porch to get the sugar, I walked in the kitchen past the window facing his house and vaguely noticed his light was on, I opened my cabinet and measured out two cups of sugar and put it in one of the 3 Tupperware bowls I brought from my last house and sealed it up, I then walked back to the front door "here you go s.." but he was gone... I walked a little further on the porch to look for him and.. Nothing,he wasn't even standing in his yard.
I walked over and knocked on his door to see if he still wanted or needed the sugar when I noticed the lights were off In his house,nobody answered the door. I walked back to my house kind of worried and kind of irritated at the same time with this man wasting my time. Maybe I'm just frustrated because he was the first smiling face I've seen in a few months after the divorce I went through, being needed for something as small as sugar meant the world to me at this time.
But regardless I went back to the kitchen to put the Tupperware bowl in the cabinet in case he came back, when I noticed that the bag of sugar was put back in the cabinet and the cabinet was closed, I didnt understand... I left it out in my hurry to get back to the door, even the little bit that I spilled on the counter was cleaned up. I pause as I try to remember if I did it before I went back outside but.. No I couldn't have
The next day I planned to go to the store, as I'm leaving the house about to get in the car I was greeted by a lady who told me she lives across the street, she introduced herself and asked me how I was enjoying the neighborhood so far, I told her "I've only met two so far but you both seem very nice" she then said "well thank you" and asked who the first person i met was, I told her "the older man who lives next door, he came to borrow sugar last night" her face turned pale as she stared directly in my eyes for about 2 seconds before she asked "which neighbor?? "
I pointed at the house he lived in and her breathing got a labored, she placed her hand on her chest and said "nobody lives there anymore, an old man lived there for about 30 years alone, no wife, no kids, just drinking tea in his den, she pointed at the room that faces my kitchen that I see lit up every night and said "in that room there... he would come ask us for sugar every now and then as well" ...I interrupted "what do you mean he doesn't live there anymore? He just came to my door last night, that den light has been on every night!" I said slightly panicked. But what she said next I never expected.... "sweetie.. He died 3 months ago" before she wished me well and walked away confused.
I went back in the house thinking about what she said, and feeling frightened but not as scared as you'd think I'd be, I'm actually kind of happy that a lonely soul needed a lonely soul like me even after death,now I keep the sugar out in case the friendly old man ever needs it

I (29F )and my (33M) stbxh have been together for 5 years. We got pregnant really fast- about 7 months into our relationship. It wasn’t very smart considering there were already so many red flags. He was already extremely emotionally and verbally abusive. So before the pregnancy with our son- I was working at a bar, getting drunk and using my prescription drugs. Someone I knew from back in school would come in eventually one night I went home with him and slept with him. Mind, this was about 6 months into our relationship so we weren’t yet pregnant and we weren’t married. I regretted it and was disgusted by it and still am to this day but when he found out (by going through my phone) he wrecked our entire apartment. He broke my belongings, let my dogs run out into the apartment complex and didn’t care. We found out we were pregnant and I was worried if I could even have kids so I was excited. We ended up getting back together, but he never forgave me. That pregnancy, he tried to kill us while I was driving and he was wasted by grabbing the gear shift and steering wheel. There was continued verbal abuse throughout the relationship because he never got over the cheating. Our son was born in 2019 and the next year we got married- I was hoping this would prove to him I was devoted. It didn’t. Smaller assaults like pushing and grabbing occurred all the time. Intimidation tactics. Then when I was 2 months pregnant with our daughter, he slapped me so hard that I fell to the ground. He was arrested that night for felony assault (due to me being pregnant). thinking of my children I made the poor decision to help him drop the case in fear that if he got a felony would only make my children’s lives harder later on, especially if we didn’t end up together. He was drunk my entire pregnancy and would come home terrorizing me every single night then when I was nine months pregnant, he came home drunk per usual and was being belligerent. I started to record him with my phone so I could show him how he acted since he didn’t believe that he was so different when he drank, he freaked out and charged at me. He pushed me down to the ground and my head smacked on the hardwood floor. I fell sideways on my obviously large, pregnant stomach. He held me in between his legs while I screamed and looked down the hall at our sons room just hoping he wouldn’t wake up. He grabbed my neck and then grabbed my phone out of my hand. I thought in this moment he was going to kill me, then he ran away jumped into my car with my phone and drove off. I was alone with my son with no car and no phone so no way to get to the hospital and no way to call the ambulance to see if my baby wasn’t dead. With the same fear in mind I didn’t call the police. fast forward two months ago. He started being extremely paranoid making up things like I was hiding underwear from him or that I was sleeping with friends that I had for over 10 years he came home one night from work and completely unprovoked attacked me. He grabbed my arms and twisted as hard as he could. Then he sat on top of me with all of his body weight, I thought he was gonna break my foot from how his body was crushing me. I was screaming at the top of my lungs for help. I was screaming that my foot was gonna break. he didn’t let up. He just pushed harder against my body. Eventually I knew I had to fight back because I felt again like I was gonna die for the second time by his hands I thought back and ran out of my house and got help. The next day he decided to play the victim and was leaving us. This is the longest time I haven’t spoken to him in five years and this is the longest time he hasn’t seen either one of his children since they’ve been alive I’m beyond the point of trying to save this for the sake of my kids, at this point, I think it will do worse. so my question is would you tell your children about the abuse their fathemother inflicted upon you and why?

Here is my timeline:
5/16 - my husband found one live bedbug during the day on our couch. We live in the top apartment of a duplex. Panic ensues. We tear the couch apart, inspect everything, find nothing. In the weeks leading up he had felt himself getting bit in the car of a colleague, suspects he might have picked one (or more) up in his computer bag.
We bag up all bedding/stuffed animals and quarantine it.
5/18 - reputable local exterminator comes to do treatment, combo of Temperid, Gentrol & Bedlam plus. Mattress encasements, inceptors. Exterminator sees no sign of anything. We’ve been basically living out of plastic bags of clothes that we dry on high heat frequently and keep in the bathroom. Minimal bedding.
2 weeks pass, no sightings of any signs, no suspicious bites on me or the kids with the caveat that it’s also mosquito season and we spend a lot of time outside so we’ve gotten bites that appear while being outside.

5/16 - my husband found one live bedbug during the day on our couch. We live in the top apartment of a duplex. Panic ensues. We tear the couch apart, inspect everything, find nothing. In the weeks leading up he had felt himself getting bit in the car of a colleague, suspects he might have picked one (or more) up in his computer bag.
We bag up all bedding/stuffed animals and quarantine it.
5/18 - reputable local exterminator comes to do treatment, combo of Temperid, Gentrol & Bedlam plus. Mattress encasements, inceptors. Exterminator sees no sign of anything. We’ve been basically living out of plastic bags of clothes that we dry on high heat frequently and keep in the bathroom. Minimal bedding.
2 weeks pass, no sightings of any signs, no suspicious bites on me or the kids with the caveat that it’s also mosquito season and we spend a lot of time outside so we’ve gotten bites that appear while being outside.

I (29F )and my (33M) stbxh have been together for 5 years. We got pregnant really fast- about 7 months into our relationship. It wasn’t very smart considering there were already so many red flags. He was already extremely emotionally and verbally abusive. So before the pregnancy with our son- I was working at a bar, getting drunk and using my prescription drugs. Someone I knew from back in school would come in eventually one night I went home with him and slept with him. Mind, this was about 6 months into our relationship so we weren’t yet pregnant and we weren’t married. I regretted it and was disgusted by it and still am to this day but when he found out (by going through my phone) he wrecked our entire apartment. He broke my belongings, let my dogs run out into the apartment complex and didn’t care. We found out we were pregnant and I was worried if I could even have kids so I was excited. We ended up getting back together, but he never forgave me. That pregnancy, he tried to kill us while I was driving and he was wasted by grabbing the gear shift and steering wheel. There was continued verbal abuse throughout the relationship because he never got over the cheating. Our son was born in 2019 and the next year we got married- I was hoping this would prove to him I was devoted. It didn’t. Smaller assaults like pushing and grabbing occurred all the time. Intimidation tactics. Then when I was 2 months pregnant with our daughter, he slapped me so hard that I fell to the ground. He was arrested that night for felony assault (due to me being pregnant). thinking of my children I made the poor decision to help him drop the case in fear that if he got a felony would only make my children’s lives harder later on, especially if we didn’t end up together. He was drunk my entire pregnancy and would come home terrorizing me every single night then when I was nine months pregnant, he came home drunk per usual and was being belligerent. I started to record him with my phone so I could show him how he acted since he didn’t believe that he was so different when he drank, he freaked out and charged at me. He pushed me down to the ground and my head smacked on the hardwood floor. I fell sideways on my obviously large, pregnant stomach. He held me in between his legs while I screamed and looked down the hall at our sons room just hoping he wouldn’t wake up. He grabbed my neck and then grabbed my phone out of my hand. I thought in this moment he was going to kill me, then he ran away jumped into my car with my phone and drove off. I was alone with my son with no car and no phone so no way to get to the hospital and no way to call the ambulance to see if my baby wasn’t dead. With the same fear in mind I didn’t call the police. fast forward two months ago. He started being extremely paranoid making up things like I was hiding underwear from him or that I was sleeping with friends that I had for over 10 years he came home one night from work and completely unprovoked attacked me. He grabbed my arms and twisted as hard as he could. Then he sat on top of me with all of his body weight, I thought he was gonna break my foot from how his body was crushing me. I was screaming at the top of my lungs for help. I was screaming that my foot was gonna break. he didn’t let up. He just pushed harder against my body. Eventually I knew I had to fight back because I felt again like I was gonna die for the second time by his hands I thought back and ran out of my house and got help. The next day he decided to play the victim and was leaving us. This is the longest time I haven’t spoken to him in five years and this is the longest time he hasn’t seen either one of his children since they’ve been alive I’m beyond the point of trying to save this for the sake of my kids, at this point, I think it will do worse. so my question is would you tell your children about the abuse their fathemother inflicted upon you and why?
