I was a pretty avid runner a few years ago until I got shin splints and decided to pick up weightlifting.
I’ve yet again managed to hurt my shoulder and have gotten back into running a few weeks ago. My stamina is no where near where it used to be but I’d like to improve my cardio.
Looking for a someone who’d be interested in running together a few times a week. Maybe somewhere fun like GG park, Merced lake, etc.
A little about me: Hispanic, muscular build, dark brown eyes, no facial hair, DDF and 420 friendly.

Apollo-gies
John sat up to hear the bustling of the only few cabin members he had. It wasn't very loud, but it had once bothered him for some reason. Last time it had made him irritated, he nearly became a dictator over the cabin.Restrictions on light magic were dumb. He nearly put them in place too. Most of the things he did to betray his cabinmates were dumb, irrational decisions he made because he had a headache.
He had scared a little girl who had just been claimed because he was upset at her for throwing a violin bow at him. It's possible it could've hurt him, but he would've deserved it for the way he was acting.
The demigod was now sitting up, all these thoughts came back to his stupid brain at the worst time. He felt like there was a need to apologize and there was. There was too much guilt, and John had scared people.
His gut wrenched before getting dressed and entering the main room. All Apollo cabin members were there, even the girl. It was the perfect chance, but he was afraid he might blow it.
A clearing of the throat broke the noise that everyone was making. They all looked at him with confusion. John then said,
"My dearest friends and compatriots, I have done you all wrong and hope to right it." John's transatlantic accent was now in full swing before fading quickly.
"My attitude was brash and rather rude a few months ago. I'm very sorry. Especially to you."
John quickly pointed at the girl who had thrown the violin bow at him months prior. The demigod quickly motioned for her to come to him.
"Look, I'm sorry I tried to scare you. I don't know where my mind was that day, but I want to make it right to you. What can I do to help make up for it?"
The girl was taken aback by John's attitude. He had acted horrible months before. Now he was trying to apologize and make up for it.
"You could help the Harpies with dishes," she replied.
Most of his cabinmates agreed with the girl's statement. Some shook their heads. Others verbally agreed by mumbling things like "yes," or, " sounds fair."
"Alright then."
Now
John had just finished helping the Harpies with the dishes. His hands were dirty despite having been wearing gloves, so he quickly washed them and left. John didn't know what to think of the Harpies.The demigod waved to the Harpies and said goodbye. Only a few acknowledged his wave, and only a few of those responded. That was fair though. He would be interrupting their work.
Given that John was tired, he figured to take a power-nap. His bunk was nice and cozy as he tried to drift off, but he couldn't. No matter how hard John tried, he couldn't nap. Maybe it meant he wasn't tired after all.
He quickly left his cabin to sit by the lake. It was such a pretty lake filled with aquatic life. Right next to the lake sat a large rock. He loved to sit on the rock and relax, so he hurled himself onto the rock. There he sat, thinking.

Before she came up here, she was staying with her mom and her mom's big cheerful message to my daughter before she got up here was " Don't pack on the pounds".
Is my daughter overweight? Yes Is she at some dire point to where she can't fit through doors? No Am I more lenient on diet & exercise than my ex? Yes & Yes
In the 3 weeks she's been up here, she's put on weight. I'm not going to hound her. If she wants to go grab a burger, fine.
What has now begun happening is my ex, I guess not wanting to straight up ask our daughter about the weight, instead has begun calling me, asking if our daughter is doing cardio of some sort everyday and eating right. I tell her we walk and eat grilled chicken & turkey sandwiches.
My theory is, the truth is only going to cause issues that none of us needs.

I used to be an author with consistent weekly updates, but for the last nine months, life hasn't been the nicest to me with working double shifts, emotional burnout, and some struggles with PTSD. The worst thing was that I couldn't write as much as I wanted. I only posted two chapters during this period (in November and back in March). Luckily, now I'm able to devote as much time to writing as I want. The thing is that in addition to my main fic update, I have a oneshot which is a what-if scenario of the said fic. Should I post those the same day or perhaps, wait a bit with the oneshot?

Had my R1S for the last couple of weeks and have had it in my garage for the last few days to see how much range is lost. Turned off the PAAK and all our phones have Bluetooth off. The key fob and wristband are far away from the garage.
First two days I noticed 6 miles of range loss but then discovered Gear Guard was on. I turned Gear Guard off and over the last 24 hours, noticed I still lost 3 miles of range. Is 3 miles/day (1.1% of battery) typical for vampire/phantom drain in the R1S?

I am a 32 year old middle class female, with moderate disposable income. I am the absolute target demographic for SDM beauty products (I think?)
I wear sweatpants to buy groceries, I drive a regular Ford car, I spend about $1k/yr on my haircut and style, I spend about $7k/yr on skincare/cosmetics/medspa stuff. I am a regular ass boring person.
In what WORLD do you want to enter a drug store, and be blinded by burning bright white lights so you can see literally every imperfection. Also.. the beauty counter where the women are dressed UP TO THE NINES at a Shoppers Drug Mart. Full face of make-up, behind a glass beauty counter. I am here to get my pills, shampoo, and possibly look at the $75 cream I was budgeting to splurge on this month. Shoppers is an ODD mix of things, but they are doing the beauty part WRONG.
These counters aren’t approachable. The women stand talking to one another and you feel judged rolling in through with your 2-day-dry-shampoo-messy bun. OR you are hawked on so they can push a sale.
WHY is this experience always so wrong?? I do not get it. I don’t know what shoppers is doing wrong at their beauty counters, but the whole experience SUCKS. I do not want to walk through this brightly lit area so that I can feel on display while I am in my socks and sandals. I also do not want to dress up nicely so I can go to a drug store to run a quick errand? Does this make sense to anyone else?? Am I going crazy?
It seems so… off. The mixing of high quality makeup/fragrance/skincare in the same building you pick up on-sale Pepsi and Cheetos. I know they are trying to separate it with the fancy beauty section but they surely have to realize that I am the type of person who is BUYING BOTH and for some reason I really dislike how I feel in the beauty section. I feel stupid and out of place, and unwelcome, yet I feel I am the key customer being 32, female, and a regular SDM Shopper? If it’s not me, then who is??? Older people? Younger people? Richer people? More fashionable people???
They have got it wrong and I don’t know how they should fix it! I’ll stick to online purchasing for my skincare I guess..? I felt more comfortable asking the stocking dude for help in the cough drop section!!! (I literally did this)

Nobody seems to be talking about this, but from what I've seen Gloom Hands can be killed using sunlight.
I encountered some near Goron City in the middle of the day. I ran to high ground, and after they flailed around for a bit, they evaporated leaving some dark clumps.
The Gloom Hands guarding Taki-Ihaban Shrine do not evaporate regardless of how long you stay out of reach. This location is underground and thus free of sunlight.
The Gloom Hands in the North Lomei Labyrinth are almost always in constant shade due to the high walls of the labyrinth. I used a mirror to shoot a beam of sunlight down the entry way of the labyrinth, caught the attention of the hands, and then ran down the length of the entry. Even though the hands caught me at they evaporated.
The benefit of defeating Gloom Hands with sunlight is they don't spawn Phantom Ganon after they are defeated.
If I can manage it I'd like to see if I can use mirrors and stakes to route sunlight down to Taki-Ihaban Shrine and then use a mirror mounted on a construct head to fry the Gloom Hands

In the mid to late 90s I had this Barbie doll “kit” that came with a tube of the most DELICIOUS frosting. It didn’t have a real cake or cake mix with it, but I don’t remember what the frosting was used for. It might have come with a fake plastic cake (white maybe?) or some other thing to eat the frosting off of (…that wasn’t Barbie).
That’s about all I can remember. Any idea what it was? I’d be ecstatic if I could taste that frosting again, it was like actual crack

When I was 21 I was assaulted while intoxicated by a close family friend. I’d had a crush on this family friend for a while, after this incident, and prior honestly, he groomed me. Convinced me he loved me, manipulated me, and I fell for it all, I fell in love with him. And two years later, after I cut him off for a year, he showed back up and all of these feelings have come back. I feel like I’m still in love with him. I know he groomed me and abused me but I don’t know why these feelings are happening. I have spent the last year+ hating his guts, wishing him the worst, and he shows back up in town and it’s just all gone? I don’t know what to do, I’m feeling extremely lost and weak. I have a boyfriend of 3 years (with a nine month break up when the grooming took place, I used that time to heal). So I can’t do anything about exploring these feelings. Help?
