Hello everyone,
i am trying to help my grilfriend set up her hardware for streaming and videorecording, but i hit a pretty big roadblock. No matter how we set the recordingsettings in OBS or StreamLabs there is always copius amounts of background noise in the recording. What also dosent help is that my girlfriend has a very soft voice which gets easily overshadowed.

For hardware and software that is getting used:
Mic: Rode NT-1 mounted in a shockmount on a mic arm
Audio Interface: Rode Al-1 with usb-c to her PC
Software:
Recording: StreamLabs and OBS
Audio: RTX Voice running on an GTX 1080 Ti
Keyboard and Mouse: Razer Chroma Keyboard and Razer Death Adder

What we did so far:

• Different gain levels on the mic for recording and different treshholds for sound activation -> Problem here is mainly the soft voice of my girlfriend then also not getting picked up
• Using the build in audiofilters of OBS and Streamlabs -> Problem here is that they partly filter her voice out too and in the cases they dont she starts sounding very echoey (imagine like standing in a big empty room)
• Using RTX Voice for GTX 1080 Ti to filter out the background noise -> Pretty much same result as with the build in audiofilters of OBS and Streamlabs

Given that i dont know much about setting up an envirorment for video production except for hardware i am running out of ideas for the software side of things. The results that my girlfrind want are pretty clear here:

• Clean audio in the recordings
• Her voice being clearly audible
• No background noice like the clacking of the keyboard or the pressing of mouse buttons

The question resulting out of this is now: what can we do to achive this?
Is this all just a question of experimenting with filters, gain levels and other settings till we eliminate all background noise? Or are we missing some piece of software/hardware to achive these goals that we didn´t see until now?
If anyone would have pointers or advice for us that would be really great, i quiet literally dont know what else to do then just switching random settings till we get the wanted results.

Alright… what the hell are you guys using to clean out the waffle grid in a bridge pf940… i tried a hot exacto knife, and I just broke the knife. I tried a chisel, but I just cracked the frame. Any ideas before I break this next frame?

My local service center quoted me $389.40 for an A/C refrigerant recharge. I think this is an excessive amount to pay, but I have nothing to base this on. Does anyone have experience with this service that can weigh in? Should I even get this done at the service center or should I shop around?
My M3 basic warranty is already expired, I only have limited warranty’s left.

Opened the freezer to get out Dino nuggets for lunch. A can of root beer had exploded. Thankfully the mess wasn't too bad, it was mostly contained to the bottom shelf.

But there is still some frozen root beer inside the organization bins MB has in the freezer and on some of the frozen bags of food.
I sent MB a text and explained whathappened, how I handled it, and told her it would probably need a more thorough clean.
But now I'm worried I should have just done the deep cleaning myself. Aita if I leave the rest for MB?

Was due to pay $100 yesterday. Had already paid $375. When I was contacted hu blackmailer I told him I had come clean to all I needed to about (not fully true) and that he had no leverage. I said all he had was a non-nude selfie and a couple of dick pics without my face. I said I could easily lie and say that’s anyone’s dick. I also let him know I scanned the images on stopnii.org and Facebook will catch them. I deactivated social media and download an app called “youmail” which catches spam of fraud risk calls and sends them to a prerecording voicemail system that tells them this phone has been disconnected (it has not). He tried to text and call me from a few different numbers and emails but I ignored and blocked all. Haven’t heard anything in 24 hours and no leaks. I also filed a fraud claim for those transactions I sent him and they told me they will be giving me a temporary credit while they investigated. Files and FBI complaint as well with every number and email they contacted me from as well as the cashapp I sent one of the payments to. So far, I have been given back $325 of the $375. I don’t know if it is a temporary credit. Two of the payments I sent him were through Apple Pay ($275 and $50) and they show up on my transactions statement as a “reversal” on behalf of apple so I’m optimistic those are more than temporary. The Apple Pay transactions had yet to go through when I made the fraud claim with my bank so I’m hoping they contacted apple and reversed those fully. I have yet to receive the temporary credit for the cashapp money I sent ($50) but that had fully processed by the time I called my bank and they said the temporary credits may take up to 10 days to hit my account. It has been less than one day since I called which is why I’m hopeful that they were able to reverse the $325 I sent through apple before they processed and that I will be able to keep that money no matter the outcome of my banks fraud investigation. Feeling empowered and in control again.

Hey everyone so my wife and I got a Dashund chihuahua mix back in December, he is now almost 9 months old and it's been a Rollercoaster. We had him what seemed was semi potty trained, he stopped peeing in the house but we were also taking him out every hour almost on the dot and he was doing great no accidents in the house. We stopped taking him out every hour as he seemed to be doing better and it worked for a while. The problem is lately it won't even be a couple hours since he last peed outside and he will just drop and take a damn piss in the house multiple times a day. He won't alert at all I've watched him, doesn't come up to the door or sniff around the house just pops a squat and let's it out. He doesn't poop in the house it's just non stop pees. This has been an annoyance of mine for years but just never did anything about it. My washer, and dryer in my apartment is in a walk in closet that's inside my bathroom, whenever I remove dryer lint I do it above this small trash can in the bathroom, well after a while my toilet/sink/outer bathtub wall will have dryer lint accumulated on it, and it gets annoying having to wipe down the toilet sink and walls nearly every time I clean out the lint trap, I thought about spray the lint with water to help maintain dust/lint spread but allegedly you're not suppose to let it get wet.

I hope I am not the only one that is annoyed about this.

I've been clean for a month now, I mean I took some meds last week but to me it doesn't count as a relapse. Tho I have now access to new meds thanks to my doctor and ffs I really wanna take em. Not all of them, but like 4-5 like I used to before. To me they're like candy, and cause of my borderline disorder I also like to "play" with life sometimes. I'd take an amount, didn't count or else and wait to see if I'd wake up in the morning. Im in no way suicidal or depressed, I just like it. Idk what to do, easier play the easy card and take some or fight.

I have a '03 LX with the EATC. I replaced the blend door actuator and had some wiring fixed to get my blower fan to work again. I also replaced all of the O-rings in my EATC unit. In short, now I have cool AC and all the fan speeds (and general temperature control) work properly, but I still cannot control air flow. I tried to go through the pinpoint diagnostic test recommended by the official '03 Crown Vic service manual, but couldn't make it past step H3 or H4 because the instructions confused me (and I had a hard time procuring the right tools for certain steps). I've taken my car to two different AC auto mechs and they both told me that 1) there is no vacuum leak and 2) something is wrong with my EATC headunit. I bought a replacement unit, tried hooking it to my car, and experienced no difference in results.
I am unsure how to proceed. Could it be that both my original headunit and the replacement one I bought are defective? Could it be something else besides the headunit and vacuum? I'm afraid if it's the actual doors that control airflow that are broken, I don't think I'll be able to go about repairing it (since it necessitates the removal of the entire dash and components) and I don't know anyone who actually has the knowhow to repaireplace such. My overall observations are

1. Geeta highly and repeatedly stresses on "loose all your desires" , "dont be arrogant" , and "dont worry about the fruit/reward"
2. Other myth-busting observations are
   1. Do your duty, that is also a good way to live your life. Doing bhajans is not the only way.
   2. Though krishna likes bhajan doing bhakts.
3. "Atheism is accepted in hinduism", I didn't find any evidence for this. On the contrary, atheism is discouraged.
4. In Quran, the ultimate reward is heaven. In Geeta, the ultimate reward is going back into Krishna.
   1. Both encourages theism and discourage atheism.
   2. Though Geeta is way more subtle than Quran.
   3. Both recommends that you live with faith, and do good deeds.
5. Caste is definitely not birth based. It depends on your nature (swabhav) or job (dharm).
   1. Going by the definition of Geeta... all the employees of TCS, Infosys, etc are to be considered as Shudra.
6. The "satwik food" which geeta recommends is very different than the "satwik food" recommended by religious leaders. Geeta recommends you to eat healthy. Even meat eating is not prohibited. That I explained in a previous post of mine.

You’ve also both been part of projects with color-conscious casting before, but this one elicited some particularly ugly feedback online. How was it watching Halle Bailey walk through that, the reaction to a Black mermaid?
DIGGS: Halle is, I am convinced, the only person in the world who could have played this part. To watch her navigate the world post the announcement — that would’ve probably broken me, particularly at her age. I mean, so much excitement is already one thing, and then also that kind of intense racism just being fired towards you, it’s insane. But I think her performance is so undeniable. The best way to silence a hater is to just be great.
The movie does seem to evoke some really powerful reactions, because of all the attachments to it.
AWKWAFINA: People have told me that they were crying from like, the second that Halle started singing “Part of Your World,” then never really stopped.

DIGGS: I am one of those people. I was right behind you, trying not to cry audibly.

AWKWAFINA: I think the really cool thing about the best kinds of adaptations is that they truly do bring people back to whatever their relationship with the movie is. When I was young, it taught me so many themes about life and storytelling and character that still really hold true in this new one.
